Very good arancini and orecchiette

We hadden gereserveerd voor 2 personen. Bij de ontvangst werden we geplaatst aan de vensterbank bij het raam. Omdat op die plek ook de verwarming zat, was de beenruimte (te) beperkt. Bij de 2 bestelde prosecci waren de bubbels vrijwel afwezig. Bij de secundi is er de keuze uit een vleesgerecht of de vis van de dag. De bediening meldde al om 19.00 uur dat het vleesgerecht niet voorradig was. De gekozen vis (kabeljauw) was veel te droog. Een aantal keren hebben we daar goed en lekker gegeten. Het lijkt erop dat de chefs (bediening en keuken) op vakantie zijn naar Italië. De bediening was wel heel vriendelijk. Al met al een aanfluiting door incompetentie.

¡Comida increíble! Este es un fantástico restaurante en una zona más tranquila. El menú es bastante limitado, pero eso solo mantiene el foco en la comida en sí. Nos quedamos impresionados por la calidad de las comidas, especialmente dados los precios. Es buena comida para la gente común - cocina de calidad a un precio razonable y en un ambiente relajado. Este lugar merece absolutamente una visita.

I've been here a few times and have always had fantastic, incredibly tasty food. And, oh my, the service is lovely and attentive...it really makes you feel at home.

So.. Where do I start? I had the beste italian experience with my partner here in Amsterdam at Primi. From the first moment we join the restaurant we felt this kind of home vibes, we really felt that we were not in a restaurant. Cozy, relaxing atmosphere, perfect to share excellent dishes either if you are with friends/partner but also alone. We saw people alone keep entering the restaurant even late, just to share some unforgettable moments and drinks. Food was excellent we took Risotto Fettuccine and the slow cooked beef was incredible. Valerio is an amazing person, he was able to create such space and experience that I was really impressed. Thanks for everything! Highly recommended for everything, this is the real Italian hospitality.

Food is good but quite overpriced.

The place is very cozy and the ambience is lovely! We haven’t booked, but they were still able to give us a table of two on a Saturday evening, but the place filled up not so long after. And rightfully so, because their food was wonderful! I had the aubergine parmigiana, and the cannoli for dessert. The manager told us that the recipe for the parmigiana was his Italian grandmother’s, which was very special. And it tasted amazing! The cannoli was beautifully served and was delicious. My friend had the tiramisu, which she was raving about after. Overall, it was a great dinner experience. The food, the service and place are all 10/10!

Best Pizza and a good atmosphere

Best parmigiana ever eaten, extremely friendly waitresses + chefs from Italy. Really delicious and recommended for anyone looking for quality Italian food.

Great neighborhood restaurant, but with high prices for good, but not very special food. Starters from 16-20 euros expensive for what you get. If all dishes were a few euros cheaper, it would be better, or eat a little better, for these expensive prices.

Cozy atmosphere and above all good food!

Friendly staff but as a Sicilian I had complaints about both the arancino and the cannoli. The first presumed "with ragù" when in reality the ragù is not inside and in fact I only tasted the parmesan cheese initially, the rice didn't even seem to be seasoned with saffron or even with other spices or I I could see through the color that it seemed quite pale to me. While for the cannoli I really struggled to taste the ricotta as the lemon dominated it. The rest however seemed good to me, we took a slice of meat and tagliatelle with duck meat. All in all good but the price is not worth those dishes in my humble opinion. The chef and staff were very friendly and capable

Charming decor, attentive and lovely wait staff, and excellent food! Went for a birthday dinner and I couldn’t ask for a better dining experience. The scallop risotto and the gnocchi were outstanding! Highly recommend.

Personally I never look for Italian restaurants abroad, but on this occasion I went on the advice of friends, excellent cuisine, great search for quality, impeccable service, great courtesy and warmth, I definitely recommend it!

Disappointed for an "Italian" restaurant doesn't have the usual lasagna or bolognese ended up getting something else which was very tasty but the price is not justified for the portion. The service was ok

The slow cooked beef cheek is a must try. It was amazing. Highly recommend. Porkbelly and beans: nice twist to such a old school dish. My grandma lost being in first place for this dish.

We had high expectation for this place but unfortunately it was a disappointment. The tiramisu was very small, very expensive (€12!!!) and not tasty at all, made with biscuits instead of lady fingers. We ordered two espresso martini which were the worst we ever had. Service was ok though and is a cute restaurant. We thought we will come back for dinner, but after this small culinary experience, no thank you.

Yesterday we visited Primi and we really loved the atmosphere. The food was super tasty, we ordered a lot of fish and duck which tasted so good. Definitely go here! A little different than all the standard Italian restaurants. Worth to visit!

I ve been in this restaurant for a quick aperitif but then curious of the menu I tried the carpaccio,the arancini Norma and then the beautiful risotto with squid end ' nduia, a traditional Italian preparation. The place was nice, really comfortable, a few table that consent the waitress help you in everything that you need,service in very good, both of the waitress " Federica end Vera" are very professional end knowns what are they doing. So you must try this restaurant 😃

A cozy, elengant, intimate and fancy restaurant close to Westerpark, where all the Italian tastes are delicious, ingredients High quality and all the dishes so well presented! Furthermore the staff is so kind and professional! I mean… what else?

Phenomenal meal! I work with Italian food and wine in the US and this was outstanding! Simple salad of heirloom tomatoes with so much flavor dancing on the palate. Highly recommend the duck ragú tagliatelle! And the main course of Octopus was cooked to perfection! They also have very decent cocktails and wines by the glass! Intimate restaurant with just a few tables, and a limited food menu. For starters we ordered the arancini balls, these were tasty. For my main I got the squid ink risotto, and we all shared the side of tomato salad. Overall the food was tasty, but I do wish there were more options on the menu. Service was just ok, had to flag down the waiter a few times, not really paying attention to our table even though it was a small space and not crowded. Would I come back or recommend this place to anyone? No. There’s way better Italian in Amsterdam than here.
