We were warmly welcomed and advised on our meal choices. The wine was excellent.

We were searching for somewhere to eat that was not in the heart of downtown Amsterdam, so many places there are very loud and this was about a 1 kilometre walk from our downtown hotel. This small family-owned restaurant is quaint, with seating indoors as well as a nice patio. Since it’s not in the middle of downtown, you’re not surrounded by people walking by so our meal on the patio was nice and quiet. We had the bruschetta and caprese salad to start and it was the best we’ve ever had. Their pesto is fantastic! We had pizza for our main, but the highlight of the meal was definitely the tiramisu. The gentleman who served us assured us ‘it’s the best tiramisu of your life, made by my wife’ and he was not wrong. Service, atmosphere and food were all excellent. Even if you don’t want a full meal stop by for dessert, you will not be disappointed!

This was the best pizza I've ever had, and it was open when nothing else was. It also has a very cozy vibe, and an amazing atmosphere.

A nice lowkey spot for amazing Italian dishes. The carbonara is an absolute must at this spot. Pizza was good but the pasta here is more enjoyable. Our waitress was super sweet and accommodating to us, we came in with no reservation. Only complaint is that the service was very slow, but I think it’s because they were a little understaffed. Overall 5 stars great place, feels like home.

With all respect, it’s not a high quality Italian cuisine . 1. Salad with tuna was not eatable 2. Pasta was mediocre 3. Lasagna was the only item in the menu I did enjoy

We were greeted so warmly the moment we stepped in with our three young children. The sweet lady recommended some yummy dishes to us and also items that would be good for kids. The food was delicious and comforting. Portions were also very generous. We particularly loved the mushroom pasta and bruschetta. Our kids loved the margherita pizza as well. We had an amazing meal and highly recommend others to come here for excellent food and warm service. They even gave our kids a little lollipop at the end of the meal. Super lovely!

We went to restaurant verena for dinner. Wo booked the table relatively spontaneous, which was no problem! We could even bring our dog. Verena and her man treated us very nicely. They gifted our dog an extra piece of ham. The food was very nice! We both had pasta, which I cand definitely recommend. Definitely try the tiramisu and bruscetta, both are wonderful!

As a former pizzeria owner I can honestly say this is one of the best crusts I've ever tasted. It was perfection. The calzone, hit the spot. If you're in the neighborhood (near the Maritime Museum) you shoud be sure to stop by for some truely authentic Italian food.

Staff had a little trouble with English but very friendly. Even helped us search for a lost earring. Food was good and filling.

It is a wonderful place of calmness and excellent food. The first thing that happened when I arrived was that I met the owner, a larger than life kind of fellow who genuinely cares for his customers. He made us feel like we were where we were supposed to be. We sat outside and chatted for a bit before we ordered our food. The food was like the owner, excellent and full of life. We ordered a lasagna al forno, a cantelloni con carne, and a pizza. The price was good, especially considering the quality of the food. We liked it so much we made a second visit. If you are in the area, make this a stop.

The truffle pasta is delicious, plus they have excellent service, we were 6 people and we loved it ❤️

La comida un poco escasa referente a las ensaladas.La pasta, decente. Tras pedir hielos a la camarera porque el tés fresco estaba templado, nos trajo un vaso con un pequeño hielo. Al pedir más hielos y otro vaso, nos lo trajo con un solo hielo enano más. Dado el calor de la silla acolchada en la que nos colocó, se habría agradecido un poco de colaboración para paliar el calor

Been our regular spot for years from the moment I spoke to Paolo on the phone. This family business is highly recommended, whatever you choose from the menu it is made with love and that is rare. The kitchen is open and always spick and span, these people also have a heart of gold 💛 Get ready to feast in the heart of Amsterdam.

We came here for lunch after visiting Nemo Science Museum. Great welcoming service by loving Italian couple. Food was authentic and great. Kids enjoyed their pasta and my pizza was very good. We saw reviews about their tiramisu being the best ever and it did not fail us. Excellent Tiramisu! A must try!

We visited the restaurant 2 days in a row. The pizzas were delicious. Just the right thin base with a crispy, evenly baked edge. Just the right size pizzas. Highly recommended! We tried, on the recommendation of the restaurant, the tiramisu. It was well-balanced in flavors and just the right portion. The board with reindeer made us feel at home 🙂

Generally good food and a nice, small, authentic Italian restaurant in a central location. Unfortunately, there are no children's menus, so €15.50 for a plate of pasta with butter and cheese was surprisingly expensive. They also offered a rather aggressive selection of other dishes.

Los precios eran muy razonables para la calidad, y todo el ambiente se sentía relajado y acogedor. El tiramisú era increíblemente fresco y fácilmente uno de los mejores que he probado. Muy recomendable para cualquiera que busque una comida italiana en la ciudad.
