Absolutely phenomenal dinner. Food and service was outstanding. Youssef provided incredible service and helped make the dinner such an enjoyable time.

I was tempted by the very good ratings (4.6/5 with 1500 reviews), but unfortunately, the fall was precipitous. The meal was frozen: cannelloni and pizza dough. The waiter was friendly, but I think it's the worst restaurant I've ever been to in my entire life, taste-wise. I'm very surprised by the good rating...

Our family of 5 showed up for a meal on our first night in Amsterdam. It was so delicious we had to roll ourselves home. The service was superb and highly entertaining. The carbonara was so good - if licking your plate was acceptable I would have done it! We enjoyed the calzone (almost too beautiful to eat), a spicy pizza. Pasta with bolognese sauce and pasta with sea food. Nothing was left over. The tiramisu for dessert sealed the deal. YUM! Everyone needs to eat here! Did I mention how delicious it was?!!!

Really lovely family owned and operated spot, calmer area of the city but not far from the action. Everything was fresh and delicious, everything they recommended was sublime. Very charismatic and sweet crew, we went twice during our visit because we knew it would be good and we’d enjoy ourselves!

Came for dinner in the later evening. Waiter was trying to be funny, but was quite inappropriate to our family. We were told by the waiter that because it was 9pm, he was "pissed off". I'm not sure that is how customers should be treated. The was food was average, but really that waiter killed the mood.

We started with the garlic bread, had pizza and the tiramisu. Everything was incredible. Highly recommend you use the house hot sauce on your pizza, it was fantastic. If you are near by highly recommended.

Due to circumstances, we were a bit late for a musical and needed to grab a quick bite to eat. We walked past a terrace where some people were already enjoying their meal. Would we make it to the musical if we sat here? The lady indicated that if we ordered quickly, we would be fine. Well, ordering quickly... uhhhhh. The lady gave advice. She advised the right thing. It was delicious. And super fast service. The chef even came over to our table for a moment. Lovely people and delicious food. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back.

It's a small, very pleasant, and quiet place, run by a very friendly couple. We had pizza—salami and prosciutto—and as a starter, some "panne burro" (toasted bread with butter) that the owner recommended. She also recommended a delicious tiramisu and limoncello. All the food was homemade and very tasty. And the service was excellent.

In my search for the best Tiramisu, I end up at a lot of Italian restaurants. The reviews promised a great handmade tiramisu, and Verena delivered. Joseph served me and made sure I had what I needed. I can tell there's a lot of pride in their food, and it comes through in great flavor and presentation. Might be the best food I've had in Amsterdam.

Great experience! The staff was so friendly to me and my dad, and the food was fantastic. I had the vegetarian pasta and it was so flavourful. Highly recommend.

We were supposed to be dining elsewhere but walked past this place in a lovely setting on Rapenburgerplein and thought to give it a go. A good decision: a warm welcome and authentic Italian atmosphere. We devoured fresh and tangy bruschetta followed by a delightful porcini/funghi linguine and a classic spaghetti bolognaise assisted by a really excellent bottle of Primativo. Friendly attentive staff. South facing terrace and enough off the beaten track to feel special. Go find out for yourself.

A lovely little Italian restaurant at Scharrebiersluis (near the NEMO Museum). Friendly and helpful staff, relatively moderate prices. The pizzas, however, were rather mediocre. The meat and pasta dishes at the other tables looked very good, though.

The pizza here is very good. I walked in and asked for a Pizza Salami for take-away, and it was ready in less than 10 minutes. The pizza had very good flavor and a perfectly baked crust. They have indoor and outdoor seating.

Visited during Pride with a group of friends that included two gay couples and the guy treated us appallingly - he was very short with us, hassled me for trying to use the bathroom, and tried to make us pay cash when there's a big Visa sign in the window. Come on, this is 2026.

We went to this restaurant on the last night of our stay in Amsterdam. The staff was wonderful! The woman who served us was warm and kind. We took her advice for our meals and were not disappointed. The pasta was delicious and the tiramisu divine. It was cosy and relaxed, just what we needed. Highly recommend.

So she did not allow us to order after. I agree, with your business you can do whatever you want. But making feel the client guilty.... debatable at least.

Absolutely terrible service and extremely rude staff. I strongly advise avoiding this place, especially if you are Asian. From the moment we sat down, the waiter rushed us to order drinks. When we asked politely for just a second to decide, he gave us a dirty look and walked off, only to happily chat with other customers with a completely different attitude. Later, we explained that we weren't very hungry and wanted to order three dishes to share. A waitress responded by literally shouting at us, aggressively stating we must order four mains or drinks. We completely understand if a restaurant has a minimum order rule, but screaming at paying customers is completely unacceptable. We walked out immediately, and went to another Italian restaurant with good service and delicious dishes at last. Amsterdam is a beautiful city filled with lovely people, but this restaurant was a shockingly racist and hostile exception.

We stumbled upon it on our way out of the Nemo Museum. The food is very good and tasty, but the best thing about the restaurant is undoubtedly the owners. They are incredibly friendly and welcoming, such pleasant and attentive people.

This isn't an Italian restaurant. Nobody speaks Italian, not even the owner, and there's an old woman who doesn't understand anything and doesn't speak English. The food isn't bad, but it's not Italian.

absolutely delicious !! We had the rigatoni frutti di mare and one of their specialties, the truffle pappardelle — both were simply excellent. The place is warm, welcoming and very family-friendly, with real expertise and genuine attention to customers. You can really feel the passion and care behind the food and the service. I highly recommend this lovely italian restaurant !! We will come back

Small, cozy restaurant. Very family-friendly. Children welcome. The selection of food and drinks is very good. Our meal was delicious and attractively presented. The waiter, Josef, was a real gem. He speaks many languages: German, English, Dutch, Arabic, Russian, Polish… The restroom was very clean. (I think it has the funniest little sink in the world.) The price was reasonable.

Disgusting. The meal was awful, the four-cheese pizza had no cheese, the waiter didn't understand anything, brought the wrong dishes, and didn't really speak English, Dutch, or Italian. Besides, the sign says pizzAria, not pizzEria, so they must be sloppy.

Excellent choice to have a great meal with your family

We stopped here after peide parade. We stopped there for drinks and he said it was fine. One person said they didnt want a dri k and his response was this seat costs money. My friwnd responded to say she would leave and he said no, so fine... we ordered 4 Peronis and 2 Spritzs. Then ordered a margaritas pizza - which seemed like a frozen one not hand made (this is a pizzeria ). Then when he brought the bill he said we need to pay cash as we didnt eat - not telling g us this in the beginning. Lastly we had to go i side to pay and he had a wireless speed point (credit card machine) which he refused to bei g outside to charge our card. This is not a cafe that order and pay at thw cou ter - its a waiter aiervice space. In summary I do t recommend this space, especially on pride day. He shouldn't open if he was not up to it.

We visited on the last day of our trip, and the kind elderly lady who served us made us feel so welcome with her warm smile and gentle hospitality. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, and the pasta and pizza were both excellent. The tiramisu was especially delicious and was the perfect way to end our meal. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Amsterdam. If you have the chance to visit, I highly recommend this restaurant. We'd love to come back someday.

The pasta, pizza, and tiramisu were all incredibly delicious and satisfying, yet not at all heavy, and went down smoothly. I felt like I could eat them forever. The tiramisu was exceptional; I could really taste the bitterness of the coffee and the sweetness of the cream, but it wasn't cloying at all, and the light texture was absolutely delicious.

A hidden gem in Amsterdam. The whole family was down for my sister's wedding the following day, and we had a big (Greek!) group (12 people) looking for somewhere nice to eat. After finding this place, we had no problem booking it, and everything was ready for us when we arrived. The owners were very welcoming and warm when we arrived and throughout. One of my cousins had his birthday, so they kindly lit us a cake we brought and sang (very well!) for him. The food was AMAZING. Everything was authentically Italian. The pasta dishes were perfect, and especially the calzone, which was to die for! You can tell a lot of care goes into delivering top-quality food. Will be recommending on and will definitely come back when we are next in Amsterdam!
