I'm not sure why this place gets so many great reviews. The food was just average. We had a tomato soup that was very basic, maybe even out of a can? I make better carbonara, and the pizza was boring. Everyone in there was a tourist. This is not a neighborhood restaurant. Staff was friendly and the tiramisu was really good.

This is little restaurant was near our hotel. It was a wonderful find. Great pasta. Very friendly staff.

Personalized service. The meals are delicious. The tiramisu is exceptional. It's worth a visit, both during the day and in the evening.

The food was absolutely delicious and was served super fast! We had pizza, pasta, and the grilled salmon, followed by a tasty espresso and tartufo to finish. We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Special mention must go to the extremely friendly and attentive staff, who took wonderful care of us all evening long. We felt incredibly welcome. Unfortunately, we can't come back more often as our vacation is coming to an end soon – but we will definitely be back on our next trip! Thank you so much for the great hospitality.

Owner Paolo (not Rossi) is very involved and hospitable. Moreover, he is proud of the tiramisu that his wife makes herself. The bruschetta tastes delicious, especially with the fresh garlic that really stands out. The pasta and grilled salmon are served well, although it is a shame that there are so many small bones in the salmon. Finally, the double espresso (with homemade tiramisu). The decor/atmosphere is somewhat on the austere side. But okay, the cuisine is more relevant. And the small outdoor terrace is perfectly fine in summer weather. A nice interlude for a day in Amsterdam!

Delicious meal! We went as a couple with a one-year-old and were very well received. The staff were friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I highly recommend the pasta carbonara; it's a masterpiece.

A pleasant evening with a warm welcome and delicious, if somewhat modest, dishes. A slight disappointment at the end of the meal: we asked for the bill and were kindly offered a limoncello or a small grappa, which we gladly accepted. To our surprise, the digestifs we thought were complimentary were on the bill at €6.50 a glass. A shame, as we consider this a misstep.

We were treated like in a very passive aggressive way for ordering 2 pizzas on 4 people (we just stopped for snack) in empty restaurant. The waiter had inappropriate annoying jokes.

We had the best lunch in Amsterdam at this cozy Italian restaurant. The old lady at front was so warm and friendly, and she just wanted to feed us like a grandma. ☺️ We had the spaghetti, arrabiata and the cannelloni and it was delicious. The tiramisu was to die for! Thank you, Nonna! 💖

The atmosphere is cozy with a great vibe, and they have tons of pasta choices that all look amazing. You can customize your pasta shape based on your preference—linguine, spaghetti, penne, rigatoni. bacon and tomato pasta was delicious, and I finished the whole thing! Lady who served us was lovely and gave us great recommendations. Such a good experience!

Not sure if it because we were tourist… pushes to pay cash and then says service tip not included. It isn’t a fancy restaurant and the service is barely service… makes you feel obligated to tip. We’ve went to friendlier places on this trip and this is the only one that used these tactics.

Brought my family here for dinner, looking for an authentic Italian dinner. The hosts are super friendly and so attentive to their customers. Food is exceptional, I had the Arrabiata, my son had the Carbonara. We had home-made Tiramisu for dessert, amazing! Tastes like Italy…

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this Italian restaurant in Amsterdam. I ordered truffle pasta, but the smell was simply unbearable, reminiscent of something very unpleasant (somewhere between urine and sweat). The taste was just as bad, with absolutely no truffle flavor. It made me feel so nauseous that I almost vomited—an experience I've never had before in a restaurant. When I tried to calmly explain the situation to the owner, telling him that the dish was problematic and that I felt unwell, the situation worsened. Not understanding, he snatched my phone from my hands to consult Google Translate, which is completely unacceptable. Despite this, he made us pay the full bill and started ranting in Dutch, with a very aggressive attitude and a hostile look. It's worth noting that his behavior was already unpleasant from the very beginning of the service. In short: inedible food, disrespectful service, and a complete lack of consideration for the customer. I absolutely do not recommend this establishment. It's not usually my style to write negative reviews, but in this case, it's necessary.

It was an amazing experience! You MUST visit this place if you are ever in Amsterdam and want to eat perfect Italian food. Super sweet staff with lots of enthusiasm. Definitely try the starters (including delicious bruschetta and bread with herb butter). The pizzas and lasagna el forno are unforgettable. And don't forget the tiramisu!!!

This was the very first meal my wife and I had in Europe, and it couldn’t have been a better introduction. We chose it simply based on how inviting it looked, and it turned out to be an incredible decision. The atmosphere was peaceful with a truly authentic Italian feel, and the food was outstanding. We came for dinner on our first day, just after landing, and it was a great choice. The waiter was fantastic, very friendly and attentive to our needs. The food was delicious, but the best part was the dessert: a spectacular homemade tiramisu. Highly recommended for a quiet lunch or dinner; you can't go wrong.

It has little in common with true Italian cuisine. The minestrone soup tastes like it's been seasoned with Vegeta. A complete disappointment. The prices are exorbitant for the quality of the dishes.

A wonderful family-run business. An Italian family from Milan runs it, and their Italian food, like pizza and lasagna, is delicious. Their desserts are equally tasty and homemade. The staff are very friendly and attentive. It's a small and charming restaurant. We highly recommend it.

This restaurant serves some of the most authentic Southern Italian food. Starting with the Zuppa di pomodoro (tomato soup), which feels just like grandma’s cooking. The soup was perfectly balanced. The main dishes were the pasta Tartufo and the pizza Verena. The pasta was the highlight of the whole meal. It tasted fresh, as if it were homemade, and the sauce complemented it beautifully. The pizza was delicious and crispy. Finalizing with their homemade tiramisu and espresso macchiato was boosting our experience in this loving and friendly place.

The food was incredibly good. Everything tasted delicious. Fresh ingredients and authentic Italian flavors. The owners (a couple) served us very friendly and attentively. The only area for improvement would be the decor. It's a bit lacking in ambiance, which means you don't spend as much time at the table. It doesn't do justice to the fantastic food. I'll definitely be back.

I'd say it was average. Our table was near the entrance and very cramped. The truffle pasta was very good. However, the zucchini and prawn risotto consisted of tiny pieces of zucchini and small shrimp (no prawns), which wasn't great for the price. And the waiter was pushing us to order an appetizer and dessert, which I didn't appreciate.

Small, charming restaurant... the owners are very friendly and accommodating... the spare ribs were the most delicious I've had in Amsterdam so far... the bruschetta was also really delicious... I can recommend it to anyone who wants to eat well... we'll definitely be back

I've eaten here three times. It seems to be a family-run restaurant, and the owner is very friendly. I tried the pizza and lasagna. The pizza crust was very crispy, and the owner recommended pairing it with a hot sauce, which I hadn't tried before. I saw many reviews mentioning the tiramisu, and it was indeed impressive. It must have had vanilla cream added for a richer flavor, making it not too cloying.
