The food was absolutely terrible. The pork tenderloin was extremely dry. The green curry on the menu had absolutely no curry in it. We should have returned it. We will never eat there again. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures.

A simple concept and a simple menu. So, the food can't go wrong. It was adequate, although the cheddar cheese used on the nachos is of poor quality. The prices are relatively low, so don't expect Michelin-star quality. Unfortunately, the service isn't great. One bartender and one waitress. That's it. I have no idea how many people are in the kitchen. Both staff members are very friendly, though. Add to that the slow kitchen and a female employee who occasionally jumps in but also simply sits at the bar chatting with the bartender for extended periods. While the table is full of empty plates and glasses that remain there for more than 10 minutes, tables where guests have left aren't cleared at all. So, whether the lack of experience and skill or the lack of staff isn't entirely clear, but having to spend over two hours with young children for a simple '3-course menu' concept restaurant... that's just too long.

Delicious food, lots of choice, nice restaurant on the harbor with a nice view of the boats, nice outdoor terrace, service was friendly, worth repeating! And don't forget, a fair price!

Very nice to go out for dinner there, great food

Nice location in Rotterdam! Bregje appears to be focusing on a lower dining budget and offers a 3-course meal for around €23 euros (€20 on week days). And there is quite a lot to choose from, which makes it nice. We found the taster-starter-for-2 very nice. This restaurant has quite a nice ambiance, and tables are not too ridiculously close to each other. We found the quality of the food ‘value for money’ - you get what you pay for. Dear people, please don’t clear the table when someone is still eating! But…we might be back.

Had my bachelor party here with 12 people. Quite a few things went wrong with the food. Cold soup, no spoons on time so your soup was cold again. Main course cold, very little sauce on the burgers, the salmon was too dry and that's a shame. It was resolved but from the waitress's faces, it wasn't very nice

This is faded glory. The entire interior and upholstery is worn and outdated. The only thing that tasted good was the dessert. The rest was tasteless and not tasty. You had to add a lot of pepper and salt yourself to be able to eat it. In the middle of the place, against the bar, were crates with empty bottles. They will never see me again. Too bad.

Visited Bregje for the first time in Rotterdam with a voucher from MAX: for € 29.95 three-course menu for 2 people. Good reception and we got an extensive menu for the three-course menu. Lots of choice. We had a delicious meal and enjoyed all courses. Nice and smooth service. Had a great evening. We will definitely go back!

Surprisingly good food and good portions. Especially the pulled chicken tacos as a starter were really delicious (and freshly fried tacos)! Extensive menu and a 3-course menu for €19.95 during the week is of course unbeatable in this time.

1st time and never again. Food was pre-cooked and kept warm, even the mussels. Table was cleared while people were still eating. No atmosphere... never again.

Ordered bread with herb butter was moldy, service consisted of children aged about 15. Not very hospitable, long wait, schnitzel was soggy, heard more people complain about the food, I'm used to better at other Bregje's, a waste of money

Been for the first time but also for the last time. Chairs on the terrace outside are almost all broken, had to ask if the tables could be cleaned, they were dirty, sticky and with bird droppings, not really fresh. When it got cooler I went inside, the interior also needed replacing, I exchanged the wooden bistro chair for a hard bucket chair, the backrest was loose. The food was not bad, the taste was okay, but the spareribs were lukewarm, the hamburger was disappointing, only the salmon was hot. Fries were fine, actually the most positive, but that's just a side dish, isn't it sad? We were not asked if it tasted good or if everything was to our liking, while we were still busy the plates were removed, asked if we had to leave or if there was a hurry, maybe the ice creams were melting, well that was a mockery, the Dameblanche was given some attention and a bit of fun, the rest was in a glass... never seen a sorbet without fruit, is that the modern version???? No sparkling water in it, just minimal strawberry on top.....the passion trifle is just a mess with a layer of egg white on top to cover it up. And yes, then I paid, I had a 200 note, with a tip added, I would have made it 135.00 instead of 129.50, the boy says, but we don't accept it, it's just legal tender, where does it say that you don't accept it??? I put the note back in my wallet and said if you don't accept it while I am prepared to pay then I thank you for the food, the manager was not really a manager, he had told a colleague that they really don't accept it, then the boy who was supposed to help me with the payment turned white around the nose, went to the phone and started calling, after 1 minute he came back, called the owner and he turned a blind eye this time, said, hello, I'll pay Simply put, you only have to give 65 euros back, what's the problem? Still paid nicely, but they won't see us again, attention and atmosphere, that's why we go out for dinner, but you don't have to expect anything here. I worked in the catering industry for years, but if I treated guests this way I would soon be out of work. What was also striking was that the other restaurants there were full and Bregje wasn't, isn't that also a sign on the wall?????

Good food for not much money. Next time again. New map is a bit disappointing. Steak is off and the tenderloin skewer was nothing to write home about. (A matter of taste, I personally don't think it has a port sauce on it and the raw red onions in between are not for me either) Cheese sauce instead of stroganoff with the schnitzel wasn't really an improvement either. Starter was delicious again (gyozas). The rest of the menu looks the same, so we'll go for that again next time.

Terrible food, had to wait a long time and service was disappointing. We ordered the 3 course set menu- it took 30 minutes for each course to come. And just to make it clear the starter course was a tablespoonful of saltless gazpacho, a coin sized croquette and a coin sized toast with some red goo on top. 30 minutes for this. My colleague ordered a tomato soup - 3 of us tasted and were sure it was taken from a store bought pasta sauce bottle and heated. No, I'm not exaggerating here. Main course was an underwhelming cheese fondue with some carrot paprika sticks and a small bread roll that was cold and super dry. Maybe the server was having a bad day but doesn't justify being rude and curt. I could go on here but let's just say a smile and kindness would go a long way and perhaps even discount the terrible food that was served.

Had dinner a few weeks ago, it was excellent especially for the price. Ate yesterday, very dissatisfied. Both starter and main course were all lukewarm/cold. We were not asked if it tasted good, so it was only when we picked up the starter plates that we could tell that the food was simply not warm. It also took a very long time before we received our food, there may be too few staff, but the quality should not be inferior. Our response that the food was cold was not responded to, the company supervisor also listened nonchalantly to our opinion... we will not go back.

Waited 3.5 hours for fried sushi and well-cooked piece of sucade. Daylight robbery!!

The starters were good but not really hot, just lukewarm, but the main courses were very disappointing, tenderloin dry and little pepper sauce, snitzel overcooked, and the hamburger very simple and not really tasty, and the service also took a long time, not worth repeating for us.

We ate here on the second day of Christmas with eight of us including a little one of 1. We had a delicious meal, there were great options for the little one and the staff was so friendly!!! Really recommended, we will definitely come back!

Ladies and gentlemen, it is my honor and a real pleasure, but this place is quite difficult when you order an open bar. These people are forced by their managers to forget the time and drinking has also been made very difficult for the staff. The staff is phenomenal. And as a customer I give this tent a six out of ten. The staff is magical, they are always there for you, but simply because of the rules they pretend to be stupider than they are... Go eat here!

Cozy bregje. You can easily find a parking space at the Five Continents parking lot. The location and atmosphere of this bregje are great, right on the harbor. We had dinner here to celebrate my grandmother's birthday and what is especially good is the price-quality ratio. All dishes are very tasty and yet it is affordable.

The food portions are mini. Upon entering we were ignored by the staff even though we spoke to someone. I left most of the food behind. The dessert was tasty, but they don't make it themselves.

The concept is fun and accessible to everyone. Had to wait a long time for the food. The main course was minimal. A big man doesn't have to eat there unless you pay for 2 meals. Chaotic, I think a lot of new and inexperienced staff. In my opinion, pay a little more at another restaurant and perhaps get more value for your money.

The meals are not expensive, but they didn't make me excited either. One carrot and one piece of pepper with my schnitzel, 2 tablespoons of sauce.... Schnitzel was not very tender. Long wait upon arrival to be led to a table. Lots of tables and unfortunately ours was just in the middle, which made the meal very restless. Acoustics were unpleasant, I could hardly hear my table companions. Cheese board was mediocre. Very sweet jam, 2 mini toasts (rock hard) and 4 cubes of cheese. The lady who served us was very friendly. Much larger groups, especially with children. I think it's a great eatery for that. I wouldn't choose this for a dinner for two.

Starter and dessert were excellent. But as a main course I like the schnitzel. It was inedible. The schnitzel was very hard, dry and chewy. I got the feeling it had been thrown in the fryer. Don't think I'll eat there again. Too bad because the atmosphere is great.

It took a while between rounds, but for the little money you got really tasty and plenty of food! Very tasty sushi, main course salmon was nice and tender and dessert panna cotta was very generous!

About 2 hours and 15 minutes waiting for your food. When it finally arrives, it turns out to be lukewarm/cold. The reason was that there were too few staff, yes, sorry. It would be better if they had said sorry upon arrival, but today only fish, meat and 1 or 2 desserts Don't blame your problem on the guest. I canceled the Christmas reservation for 30 people. Very nice staff, quick with drinks and food. Concept is great. A 3-course menu for €22 is really not bad at all these days. The quality of the dishes is also just good and there are many different choices.

Unfortunately… a very bad experience! Made a reservation at 5 p.m., had to inform us of our choice during the week so that they would be well prepared. No starter yet at 6:30 PM. When the tomato soup was served it was cold. Taken back to the kitchen. Then a waitress came to say there was no more tomato soup. We had onion soup… Then came the main course. My salmon was lukewarm. I just left this like that. Service was extremely grumpy, couldn't get rid of anything anymore. The ice cream was delicious! Didn't have a nice evening due to poor timing by the kitchen and service.

Excellent value for money. We had a great evening with family. The staff is smiling, the dishes are excellent. Our 2 and a half year old daughter was also very well received, even if she didn't eat.

Eating at Bregje is cozy, tasty and, to be honest, really affordable for these times! The dishes are tasty and the staff is really nice. They do their utmost to please their guests. If it is very hot, you can sit indoors in the air conditioning or on the terrace overlooking the harbor. Are you coming by car? Park at the Jumbo supermarket, that's about half the difference compared to parking along the street ;-) We liked the “wooden school chairs” and the chairs outside are less comfortable. In our opinion, these could be a bit softer :-)

Bregje is just good, I had spare ribs and they were tasty. I really don't understand those negative reviews. The only downside was a whining child, but that is more due to the parents than to Bregje.

Samen met onze oudste kleinzoon, na de F! race te Spa ( Belgie ) op zijn advies het diner genoten in Bregje ( Rotterdam ). Aan een tafel in de buitenlucht onder ene grote parasol. Snelle en prima bediening. Zeer smakelijk diner, keuze uit een drie-gangen menu. De gamba's smaakten uitstekend Het toetje, ijs, was ook zere lekker. Het was een fooi waard.

Zeer slecht.. voorgerecht smaakt raar, hoofdgerecht met droog vlees waarschijnlijk uit magnetron ,paar sausjes erop gekwakt patat uit oude olie of gewoon paar keer opgewarmd ,mais uitgedroogd , koud vlees.. spin bij de patat, waarschijnlijk meegefrituurd…nooit meer!!!

wij zijn vandaag bij beren rotterdam centrum geweest, toen we binnen kwamen zeiden ze gelijk dat er nog 1 plekje buiten was en dat het in de zon wel was, vervolgens heeft heel de avond het terras leeg gezeten en is er niemand meer gekomen. overigens hebben wij geen bestel gekregen uit het personeel, moesten we continu om vragen. ook tussen de gerechten door moesten we heel lang wachten en werd er niet naar ons om gekeken en hadden we her gevoel dat we genegeerd werden. ook hadden we 1 varkenshaas en daar was pepersaus bij besteld en kregen champignonesaus. voorderest wel gezzelig zitten en was het overigens wel lekker

De locatie is goed. Het personeel amateuristisch maar vriendelijk. Het eten was heel slecht. Lauwwarm uit de magnetron. Al het knapperige en malse was zo weggenomen. Smakeloze hap.

I didn't think it was much...the first time was slightly better than the 2nd session...that's true...I think it has to do with the quality of the food, it's not bad with every course but not great either...what does this tell you about me...❔....that I'm apparently a jerk who just likes to eat good food and is happy to pay a little more for it....I have to actually avoid these kinds of things and leave the restaurants with these kinds of sales systems alone... it was busy both times and people were clearly having a good time... who am I then...

Good price for one good meal with dessert before the hour concept. Also good cocktails for a good price. You have to wait a little longer, due to few staff, so you just don't get your food within an hour. But fortunately it had not become busier yet and we were allowed to eat in peace.

In Rotterdam South there is...tasting room Bregje (near the Jumbo), you have to know where this place is located but super tasty food and really super tasty food! Wine was 👌🏻 and for a cup of coffee we had French coffee, delicious 😋. To be short, go to Bregje! 🍽️😋👍🏻

Beautiful location in a very open, spacious and bright building. Excellent and friendly service provided by employees, open WiFi and attractive menus on a clear map. Good range of drinks from a house wine to a delicious chardonnee. Tasty dishes such as fish, meat and vegetarian that are reserved quite quickly and for €19.95 you have a tasty 3-course menu including a dessert. Of which the French toast and the Chardonnee are highly recommended. In short, a visit to Proeflokaal Bregje is highly recommended.

The restaurant offers a quality of food that exceeds expectations compared to the price charged. The service is also friendly, and it is special to see how they make everything run smoothly with so few staff. The decor is very cozy, the location is also nice. For children, the menu is very limited for what you pay, which mainly relies on a lot of fillings and sugars. Not recommended for that.
