They also offered us a complimentary rice that we swapped with roasted papad (thank you for that). Catered to our needs of no onion garlic (swaminarayan menu) with plenty of good options. Choice of songs & the ambience overall was also nice. Lucky they had charging ports next to the tables as it's a big benefit for tourists when they're out whole day and battery drains. Met the owner Vishal Sharma ji, very nice gentleman and experienced business owner. Definitely recommended to try once, very nice location next to Amsterdam Centraal. veggies from a can into a the Korma. made us feel sad, couldve been fresh vegetables. Garlic naan was Ok-ish, no strong flavours. server was slightly weird about the € tipping after paying. food was not good and not bad. wouldnt go again. Price was ok for Amsterdam Center.

Me and my husband were craving for South Indian food in Amsterdam. I found this restaurant on google map so decided to give a try. We loved the food here we had Idli sambhar and Dosa. Both were delicious. We enjoyed talking to Vimalbhai who took our order. This restaurant has many varieties of vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes. They serve both North and South Indian cuisine. I do recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.

I have actually never felt the need to write a review, but I am happy to make an exception for this experience. I had never eaten Indian food before, so I entered the restaurant with no idea what to order. On the recommendation of a staff member, I ordered a number of dishes, and it was truly a revelation. The food was incredibly delicious and really surprised me in a positive way. I am writing this review three days later and I am still thinking about it! The service was also top-notch. I had ordered a drink that wasn't cold and asked if I could get a cold one. I was allowed to keep the opened drink and received a new, ice-cold bottle from the house free of charge. Little things like that make the experience even better. And for anyone who, like me, sometimes hears stories about stomach or toilet issues after eating at restaurants: I didn't have any problems at all. 😄 All in all, a very good first introduction to Indian food. Had a delicious meal, good service, and definitely worth repeating. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I would love to eat here, the people are very nice, the service is great, I went there with my family, I really enjoyed it, the food I ate was just like home cooked food.

We were looking for a restaurant that does both North and South Indian food and we found Rangoli. Service was impeccable and the food was excellent.

Fantastic food in a nice quiet street 5 minutes walk from Centraal station. The staff were very friendly and the curry was the best we’ve eaten for a very long time. Can highly recommend the peshwari naan, lamb samosa, chicken tikka masala and chicken korma 😋🥘

I had the North Indian Taali and was the best food I had in a very long time coming from London where curry is the second national dish of England that's saying something! Kumar was so hospitable and looked after us very well. Definitely come here for amazing North Indian and South Indian food. You will not be disappointed!!!!

The food was very good and had lots of options and was tasty with many spices. The server was very friendly and delivered service with a smile. There wasn't many people in the restaurant and it was a bit quiet. The staff just sat there watching you eat .

When we arrived we get told they are fully booked but they found us a seat. The restaurant was completely empty during our time there. We were there during buffé time and it was not for us. Kind of dull flavour and felt a little bit uninspired. Bread was fine but a little dry, nothing memorable. There was not a lot to choose from for that price. We paid 45€ for both of us which we found was expensive and not really worth it.

I visited Rangoli Amsterdam yesterday and had a disappointing experience. The food was average overall—nothing particularly impressive. Unfortunately, the service made things worse. Our food was served without any cutlery, and when we asked, a staff member brought a bunch of forks and knives and dropped them on the table instead of properly setting them. We also ordered tea, but it was never served. When we asked about it later, we were told it had been forgotten and that we would need to wait another 10 minutes. At that point, we declined and paid the bill. Overall, the combination of average food and poor service made this a letdown.
