We ordered food in the evening and paid normally via app and then the order was canceled after an hour without telling us, but only after we asked by phone. So we didn't get any food, waited an hour without any information and then had very poor service online. Not recommended unless you don't feel like getting your food. Never order here again!!!

We had ordered a doosa and mango lassi. Both were very disappointing, the doosa was thick and bland, and the 2 accompanying sauces were dull. It was a loud place with running children bouncing into the front window. My wife disliked the mango lassie and replaced it with a plain water, but nevertheless there were 2 mango lassies on the check...

Food is just okay, but never order food online with them. First time I make an order it was 4 butter chickens, I don't why they delivered only 2, so I had to wait like 30 extra minutes to receive the other 2. Today I decided to give them an other chance, I made the order at 20:25 and I received it at 22:30, I can understand maybe they had a busy night, but for real? 2 hours to receive an order in a small city like Amsterdam? I would not recommend honestly

Who makes masala dosa with mustard oil?? Worst dosa ever...thick and lacks taste....unsustainable packaging, late deliveries and the list goes on...

Delicious food, lots on the menu So there is plenty to choose from starters to main courses we will come there more often and it is easy to reach in Amsterdam

I used to really enjoy their food that I was mostly picking up or ordering on delivery. Lately it is more expensive for smaller portions and it is not as good as before, almost no taste and definitely not vaguely as spicy as Indian should be.

I have visited on Kings day’24. I have ordered : Paneer tikka: Good Papri Chat: Okay Plain Dosa: Okay but I did not like chutney sambar which were given along with Dosa. Vegetable Biryani: Average I think this should be renamed as Vegetable Pulao rather Vegetable biryani. Then it would serve the purpose atleast to small extent. Mango lassi: Okay It’s a small restaurant and it’s near to central railway station. One/Two time visit.

bad for the neighborhood: they bring tour groups of 10—15 people that stand outside on the sidewalk and prevent people who live, shop, and work from passing. even if you say “excuse me” three times, the group does not move and you have to push through as if you are at a concert. very annoying

Unfortunately very dissatisfied and not honest about delivery times. Was supposed to take half an hour, turned into 90 minutes. Called twice, no apology. My impression was that the owner was not completely honest on the phone the first time. In the end I received watery butter chicken without rice, apparently I should have bought it separately. Do yourself a favor, order somewhere else.

I've been ordering here for years, but it has deteriorated considerably and the portions are very stingy. 1+1 promotion is literally 2x half a portion, 4 chicken pieces per container. Taste deteriorated, no more rice with the dishes. Bagger.

Never order or go this place rude to customers

Try to make a reservation by telephone. Was supposed to be called back which of course didn't happen. Finally made a reservation via the website at 8 p.m. They didn't know anything when we arrived. Ultimately, when we sat at a table, we were told that we had to leave half an hour later (read: whether we wanted to have a quick meal in half an hour) because there was a group of 50 at 8:30 p.m. husband came. So we got up never to come back.

The lamb gosht and lamb balti were delicious.

The restaurant is located at nice location for other eateries and delicacies. But this restaurant in particular is not go. As we entered we were asked to wait and other couples came after us, they tended to them and asked us to wait. Other guests insisted that we arrived before them. Food quality was okay, but services was okay too. But the attitude of the staff was very rude to us, may be because we were Indians? I dunno, but that was general behaviour of the staff. I wouldn’t come to this restaurant again.

I ordered through Uber Eats and it’s been 1.5 hours, almost 10pm and im still waiting for my food… Tried several times to call the restaurant and no one is answering. Never ordering again! Update: after 2 hours, nothing has been delivered. I managed to cancel my order. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE

So it was freezing cold and rainy outside when we went along to Rangoli before the Michael McInytre show later. Since our booking was early it was empty when we went before 6pm. It was cold in the restaurant and they weren’t going to put on the heating for just the 3 of us. The food was ok/very average. The spicing tasted a bit harsh and the vegetables overcooked. The prawns weren’t as tender as they should have been and the curry sauce wasn’t as delicious as it sounded on the menu. The garlic nan was v good and so was the Thali set menu. It filled a spot but it wasn’t the satisfying Indian meal we were hoping for.

Ordered via Uber eats more than 1 hour and a half ago. Still waiting, called and of course “the order is on its way” …

The restaurant was warm and cosy which was definitely welcome on a cold, windy, and rainy day in Amsterdam. It says South Indian but that title does not look too accurate. The food was good but could have been better. We also did not see too many South Indian items on the menu. Calling this Indian restaurant would make it more accurate.

Poor service, unclear situations via ordering websites, did not receive what we ordered, no compensation or redelivery of missing products after proper contact had been made. Some of what we did get was bland, unsalted and completely tasteless.

This is our go-to spot for Indian food. So many great options like south and North Indian food! I really like their chicken madras and chicken tandoori sizzling. Butter naans are so amazing, and they offer a delicious variety of dishes, including a good selection of vegan options. It's always a very satisfying experience for me. P.S owner is very nice and give you a great services with warm welcome. Thank you uncle Kumar!! Keep it up! We are coming soon and craving your foods

The food was really good. They have both North and South Indian items on the menu. I was there with friends, and we had Aloo chaat, Papdi chaat, Lamb biryani, Paneer dosa, and Masala dosa. All these items tasted good, no complaints. We also ordered mango lassi, which was very creamy and tasty.

Minimalistically furnished restaurant, nice service, very good food, reasonable prices.

Came all the way from Enschede and tried this masala dosa and idli sambar. Damm, it was fantastic, enjoyed it alot. If anyone wants to try south Indian, this is the place in the Amsterdam.

Great dinner option if you like Indian! I was a bit hesitant because the reviews were all over the place, but we were pleasantly surprised. Our food came out quickly and was delicious! I highly recommend the naan and the tikka masala. The restaurant was very quiet when we entered and became busier as the dinner went on but the service was still great and the food fantastic.

Tot nooit weer ziens, Menu genomen, en het nagerecht werd ook gelijk opgediend, formaat van een groot theelicht, Was via the Fork geboekt, 30% korting, maar we moesten er zelf om vragen, Sjacherijnige reactie, Bon werd op de tafel geslingerd, ongevraagd,omdat er op dat moment een horde Sikhs naar binnen kwam.

Just about the best Indian food we've eaten in years. Great masala dosai, utthapam, Dahl, Ras Malai, curry dishes. Great service!!!! Can't wait to eat there again!

The food was fantastic, especially the lamb korma and garlic cheese naan. My father asked for medium spicy for his prawn vindaloo, and it was balanced perfectly with heat that didn't hurt.

Food was ok but not great at all. The service was a bit poor considering there weren't many people there. They forgot part of my friends order. By the time it was brought out we were half way through dinner. It's a first restaurant I came across in Amsterdam does not serve tap water, it's compulsory to buy a water bottle for 6.5 Euro. I would prefer to go to other nearby restaurant instead of picking this one.

The food here was good. We tried the North Indian and the South Indian thali. The curries in the North Indian thali were good, esp. the dal and saag were nicely prepared. The South Indian thali was good too but the sambhar and chutney served with the dosa were okay to average. The staff is friendly and gave us some suggestions. Overall, a good Indian restaurant

Loved this place. We walked past and saw it packed to the brim. Walked in and greeted and sat by the owner. Everything came out quickly and was delicious. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing food. I ate dosa and samosa chat. Prices are very reasonable. I recommend Indian students specially, this restaurant is budget friendly. The best part is Indian chai. Unlike other restaurants, they make chai when you order and taste so good just like home made.

It is a nice Indian restaurant near the Amsterdam central, we tried idly and dosa here and the taste was authentic, it’s generally less crowded on weekdays. Also it’s very well maintained.
