Fantastic food in a nice quiet street 5 minutes walk from Centraal station. The staff were very friendly and the curry was the best we’ve eaten for a very long time. Can highly recommend the peshwari naan, lamb samosa, chicken tikka masala and chicken korma 😋🥘

Today I spent the day in Amsterdam with my son and ate at this restaurant. I don't have much experience with Indian food, but it exceeded my expectations. Delicious, something different for a change. Worth repeating.

I had the North Indian Taali and was the best food I had in a very long time coming from London where curry is the second national dish of England that's saying something! Kumar was so hospitable and looked after us very well. Definitely come here for amazing North Indian and South Indian food. You will not be disappointed!!!!

I had the lamb biryani and the portion size was great! The food was absolutely delicious and taste authentic. The flavor of the lamb kabobs was delicious as well.

The food was very good and had lots of options and was tasty with many spices. The server was very friendly and delivered service with a smile. There wasn't many people in the restaurant and it was a bit quiet. The staff just sat there watching you eat .

When we arrived we get told they are fully booked but they found us a seat. The restaurant was completely empty during our time there. We were there during buffé time and it was not for us. Kind of dull flavour and felt a little bit uninspired. Bread was fine but a little dry, nothing memorable. There was not a lot to choose from for that price. We paid 45€ for both of us which we found was expensive and not really worth it.

I had a very pleasant dining experience at Rangoli South Indian Restaurant. I visited Rangoli Amsterdam yesterday and had a disappointing experience. The food was average overall—nothing particularly impressive. Unfortunately, the service made things worse. Our food was served without any cutlery, and when we asked, a staff member brought a bunch of forks and knives and dropped them on the table instead of properly setting them. We also ordered tea, but it was never served. When we asked about it later, we were told it had been forgotten and that we would need to wait another 10 minutes. At that point, we declined and paid the bill. Overall, the combination of average food and poor service made this a letdown.

Superb Indian food with warm hosts. As Indians traveling in Amsterdam, this place was pure comfort on a plate. The dosas were perfectly crisp, the sambhar was rich and authentic, and the chutneys tasted just like back home. Every dish was full of flavor and made with real authenticity. A must-visit if you’re craving genuine South Indian food! Highly recommend this place to anyone, but especially to fellow Indians traveling abroad—you’ll leave with a full heart and an even fuller stomach.

We had a delicious meal at this Hindustani restaurant! The dishes were really flavorful and well-spiced. The food was prepared with love. Even my family was able to enjoy the tasty food.😊 The service was also top-notch: friendly and welcoming staff. Bollywood music was playing in the background, which was great! A minor downside, in my opinion, was that it was a bit dark inside, but the delicious food and great service certainly make up for that! Definitely recommended if you love Hindustani cuisine 🍛 I am already looking forward to my next dinner….

Excellent quality Indian Jain food served for Lunch / Dinner for my 158 pax during our stay in Amsterdam. Mr Kumarji was very courteous and group was extremely grateful for his delicious dishes with deserts served.

Ordered on Friday evening; I understand it's busy, but waiting almost 3 hours is really too long. I called and was told in a blunt manner that it was on its way. Shortly after that, the order was marked as delivered. After that, they didn't have the guts to answer anymore. If you can't handle the orders, why accept them at all?! Apparently, more people are having trouble with this; I wish I had read the reviews before ordering… don't order here!!

I couldn't tell you if the food is tasty, because it was never delivered. I called four times spread over three hours, and the two times they answered, I was told it was on its way. I respect busy restaurants. I have patience when it's busy. I just think NOT delivering anything is really excessive. Bad atmosphere in my house now. Update: Delivered FOUR HOURS after ordering after all. I have already eaten and drunk by now, though.

The waiter couldn't have cared less about us. Bare minimum service. No tap water, we had to pay for a bottle. Cheese naan without cheese. The dish was way too spicy. We asked for everything to be served at once, and he brought the appetizers and then the main courses 30 minutes later. He asked several times to pay in cash. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

As an Indian, celebrating Diwali away from home can feel a little incomplete—but Rangoli truly made it special. The food was absolutely delicious, authentic, and full of flavors that reminded us of home. I've eaten butter chicken many times, but today I had the worst butter chicken ever. My colleagues ordered the thali menu and needed to use the restroom after about 30 minutes. On top of that, the waiter was very pushy about tips. Overall, a disappointing experience that I hadn't expected.

Uncle Kumar is the best and service is the best in whole netherland. You can walk few minutes from the central station. I love being in Rangoon restaurants. They are very sweet and good Owner.

We didn't even have time for a coffee; we were told to leave... When we were asked to pay in cash, even though it wasn't indicated anywhere, the owner almost gave himself a generous tip... Beware! Only the food is worth the trip because it's fragrant and delicious; otherwise, keep walking...

Ordered food at 7:00 PM, still nothing by 9:00 PM. Called at 8:00 PM for an update and was told: "We're on our way." At 9:30 PM, the same excuse again, and this time I didn't answer. Scammers, NEVER order from them.
