Very good food! The guys who served us were very nice and friendly! I recommend this place.

Walter is the best! The food was great and the staff was amazing friendly. This is a perfect spot to escape a busy street.

Very kind waiter named Walter sat us at a table by the window. He took our order and brought out a delicious pizza, salad and cheesy bread.

A lovely nice Italian dinner in Amsterdam. Staff were very considerate and helpful, special mention to Dima who was very patient and kind, talking to our young children. Drawings and messages on the place mats adds a special touch to the restaurant and we thoroughly enjoyed our time.

wowwww i think my mouth will forever miss the food it has just eaten!!! the pizza was INCREDIBLE the base was soo fresh i’ve never been more likely to recommend a pizza as someone who worked in a pizza restaurant for almost 3 years. the staff were so friendly and inviting, they even took a couple polaroids for us (you might be able to spot one on the wall!!!) will definitely be coming back here for our future amsterdam visits :)))

This is our 2nd visit to Ava Cyril Italian Restaurant in Amsterdam, Food is delicious and reasonably priced, fantastic friendly service by the owner Basili, the owner and the superb chef Mario, give it a try, you will not be disappointed 😋

It was so lovelyyyyy! The Food (which arrived very fast) was so delicious, they had me eating all my leftover sauce, til the plate was completely empty! It’s very small and cozy in there, not very loud and beautifully decorated with greetings from all the people who have visited the restaurant. Loved it. <3

It was a great experience to eat here. Three of us came at lunchtime and were warmly welcomed. We had the best seat in the restaurant by the window. The service was very friendly, especially to the children. The food arrived promptly and was very tasty. Fish soup, spaghetti carbonara and bruschetta. The pasta sauce was amazing. I had a long chat with George. Best regards and many thanks for the little tour of Amsterdam downunder. We designed two beer mats and would love to come back. A great hour in Amsterdam. It's a very nice, small but fine restaurant in the heart of Amsterdam. We found the food delicious, and the beer mats were (unique)—we even got to paint two of them ourselves. 😁 We'd love to come back ✌️

Very friendly restaurant. The food was very good. We got a seat and served in good time, we did not have to wait but at the same time we did not feel rushed. Loved reading all the messages on the walls that have been collected over years.

The red wine was warm and the pizza was a little too classic for my taste but good. Friendly staff.

Restaurant passed off as Italian cuisine but they don't even have Italian written outside the place. I think the frozen pizza is better dishes that are absolutely not Italian cuisine. Non-Italian chef, slow and approximate service, cleanliness at the limit. I absolutely did not consider it if you want to eat something that is close to our cuisine. Failed. In addition, the place is almost empty and waiting times are very long.

Cute little restaurant. Creative decor with beer mats, one of which we even got to paint ourselves. The food was good; finally, a pizza with enough cheese and a reasonable price, despite the small size. The service was friendly. If we ever find ourselves in the city again, we'll be back.

Five visitor from London, had a meal here on our last night in Amsterdam. I opted for the lasagne very nice, just that there was no depth to it just one layer off lasagne in a deep bowl, barely reached half way up the bowl. We also ordered the bruschetta for starters, we were initially informed there was no more as it was practically closing time. We made our disappointment obvious, pointing out the table next to us had not so long received their order for bruschetta , eventually it was agreed that bruschetta would be prepared for us, it was very tasty, Female server very warm and friendly.

You have to visit when in town!! This place is legendary and the food really does live up to that reputation. Honestly, it is so fresh and tasty!! We were visiting for the day and having seen this place online, we happened to walk past and drop in, no booking and they managed to fit us in! Food is cooked fresh, service was amazing and we will definitely be back!!

The best pizza I've had in years. The frutti di mare and salmon pasta were epic too!! We could not stop eating here!!

A fantastic restaurant, great service, and the decor made from inscribed beer mats is incredible. If you eat here, you should definitely write on one of your beer mats.

A complete disappointment. I have no idea where the positive comments are coming from; it's a clear tourist trap. Sure, the pizza was labeled as small, but then I expect at least good quality. Unfortunately, it was a frozen pizza. The schnitzel weighed about 80g and didn't look like the picture on the menu. This dish was also a disappointment. The salad and fries were a disaster. Additionally, the staff were very pushy and repeatedly tried to push us to order starters. Never again.

The atmosphere is amazing and the staff is some of the sweetest people ever. The entire restaurant is covered with pictures and greetings from all over the world, dating back many years, which was fun to look back at. Our waiter was named Walter and he took care of everything, and they let's us hang a greeting with a picture on the wall. The food was amazing, so a big shout out to our chef Mario. Diffenly a place worth visiting

Just eaten at Ava Cyril. Tasty pasta dishes and v reasonably priced dessert. Staff v friendly and engaging. Relaxed atmosphere inside and some quirky interior decor. 2 courses and a couple of drinks each, just over 30 euros per person.😀👍

Gluten free pizza available, i saw it advertised outside.it was ok. for me as a coealic it gives me options for normal dinner. Family liked their food too. Friendly service. we would visit again.
