Restaurant Daalder* in Chassébuurt

Restaurant Daalder has recently moved to a new location, and this clearly still brings with it some teething problems. The concept consists of two long, narrow spaces. We were seated at the very back, right near the emergency exit. This wouldn't be a problem in itself, were it not that the two speakers for this half of the restaurant were mounted above our table. As a result, the music was frequently too loud. When we pointed this out, the volume was adjusted politely, but because people at the front of the restaurant could hear less, it was often turned up again later. The service was relaxed, friendly, and professional, perfectly fitting Daalder's informal style. The food was also excellent. The dishes were creative, refined, and featured a lovely Eastern twist. Here, the kitchen demonstrates why Daalder has built such a strong reputation. Due to the narrow layout of the restaurant, the staff sometimes struggled to maneuver smoothly past the tables, causing items to occasionally fall off trays. These are undoubtedly issues that will improve with more experience at this location. The menu was presented as a seven-course menu, but to us, it felt more like five courses. The bread course – a delicious and generous brioche/croissant – was fantastic, but we do not consider it a full-fledged course. The finale, an original stroopwafel presented in a Delft Blue stroopwafel box, was also served together with the coffee and therefore felt more like a friandise than a separate course. As a result, the price-quality ratio came under some pressure. Although Amsterdam prices are well-known by now and quality comes at a price, we felt that Daalder was clearly at the upper end of the price spectrum for a one-Michelin-star restaurant. Nevertheless, a positive impression prevails. The food is of a high standard, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the service is hospitable. With a few minor improvements at the new location, Daalder can once again fully develop into one of the most interesting culinary addresses in Amsterdam. Bravo! ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆

Widely known as the best restaurant in Amsterdam, this was our birthday meal destination and the main reason for visiting the city! Menu was all Chef's choice, and of course we chose to pair the recommended wine with each course. Most flavor combinations were unexpected, but everything was delicious! Highly recommended for the adventurous eater! If you're afraid to try new things, not so much.

The price-quality ratio was extremely disappointing; I can't believe they have a star rating. I started with a dirty wine glass, and when my plates were served, the rims weren't cleaned. There was a house party going on in the same building, so the bass made me shake off my chair. Only the waitress spoke Dutch. All in all, very disappointing.

I haven't eaten there yet, but I have had a drink, but the atmosphere and the staff were very nice.

Yesterday we thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful Valentine's Day dinner. Delicious dishes, matching wines, true taste sensations, beautiful ambiance, staff attentive, spontaneous, and fun. We truly had another fantastic evening. We'll be back soon. Thank you. Another addition after two years: we had the pleasure of dining here again on Valentine's Day, it was unprecedented. Delicious dishes, rich flavors, and a super-motivated young team of professionals. Of course, it's a matter of taste, but this restaurant is our favorite in the Netherlands. Everything is perfect. Last Friday, five of us dined at Daalder. We had a fantastic culinary experience. Every dish we tried was unique, paired perfectly with wines. The service was excellent, and there was a wonderful atmosphere. 100% worth the star rating.

Had an amazing experience at Daalder! I went with my fiancé and we loved all the food that was served. I’m a pescatarian so usually they provide me with the vegetarian dish rather than a meat. I really appreciated that my replacement dishes were risotto and a ravioli dish! Normally fine dinings restaurants give you a vegetable which I hate but Daalder really made sure you were full. The service was was great, highly recommend!

We had a fantastic afternoon, enjoying a sumptuous meal with exceptionally delicious dishes and wonderfully paired drinks. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed. The entire team made sure we could sit back and enjoy ourselves, just the way we like to do.

A challenging review to write. Daalder came highly recommended … the venue is cool, with a dock for boats … must be awesome in summer. We received a very warm welcome, just lovely. We got off to an amazing start and had one delightful dish after the other… then calamity struck and we waited 45 mins between dishes with empty glasses for what finished as a 4.5+ hour marathon of small dishes … despite arriving early, the kitchen served our dishes together with other tables that arrived 45 mins later. A disaster. Some dishes weren’t even explained to us, just dropped on the table while the wine server argued with the food waiter. At this point you could see the kitchen staff’s frustration and bickering. The food itself was very impressive and I just loved some dishes, the pigeon and caviar fried chicken were spectacular… The restaurant is open kitchen .. but the places fills with smoke, my eyes were burning by the end and I left smelling like friend chicken skin/fat. (Buy an exhaust fan). Afterward, my wife felt materially unwell and I felt queasy the following day. I ask myself two questions in every review - would you go back? No. Would you recommended it to a friend? No. Longest review ever, on a good night, this place would have to be better. But I can only called our experience an - avoidable calamity. It wasn’t expensive.

The service was terrible — I’m not sure where the chef was in organizing it. Five hours for a dinner with just okay food and a very strange wine pairing. It also made me wonder if Michelin is just giving stars away…

Everything fits together perfectly and you feel very comfortable. The food was fantastic and tasted absolutely delicious. The staff is very attentive and friendly.

A fantastic culinary experience at Daalder, absolutely worthy of its star rating! We received a warm welcome and immediately felt welcome. The venue is beautifully decorated, hip yet atmospheric. We opted for the "Best of the Best" menu, and every dish, from appetizer to dessert, was a feast for the taste buds. A true taste sensation, refined and creative down to the last detail. We ordered extra oysters with citrus and chose a bottle of wine from the extensive sommelier's guide. There are a surprising number of excellent options at a reasonable price. Also nice: the still water was simply refilled and not added separately to the bill (this probably only applies to sparkling water). The service was excellent, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Each dish was carefully explained, and both the wine and water were refilled promptly. A wonderful evening from start to finish. Definitely recommended and absolutely worthy of its star rating!

*Note that this review is for a special pop-up of Daalder as part of ADE and not the regular restaurant experience. Terrible service. Our waiter regularly avoided and/or ignored our table. An hour after being seated and we only got our appetizers, which were admittedly pretty good. After asking our waiter how long more until the rest of the food arrived, he left us and never came back to provide an answer. So, we decided not to wait any longer and spoke to another member of the staff and requested to leave. Advertised as an experience curated by a Michelin-star chef, this was definitely not that. Our waiter seemed lost and had no respect for our time. There was no cocktail or wine menu. The structure that the pop-up was housed in looked thrown together at the last moment and was not comfortable or cozy. We were sat next to a window that was cold, and a door that was constantly opened which let in even more of the cold, especially so because of the terrible weather outside. What was supposed to be a delightful dinner celebrating ADE and Amsterdam turned into a grueling experience at a restaurant that just wasn't prepared to service people at the level it advertised itself at. We left cold, wet, and disappointed and won't be back.

Although we visited Restaurant Daalder months ago, to celebrate the birthday of my partner, I still remember the taste of bluefin tuna with beluga caviar! Turbot with black truffels is another unforgettable highlight. For wine pairing, we trusted the suggestion and liked the combination. Lasagne was quite flat. Aside from that, as an architect, I couldn't see the relation of this unique interior design, which is too popculture oriented and playful (with graffiti and lighting elements), and a fine dining restaurant serves exquisite plates.

A nice restaurant in a beautiful location. The food is good, with some particularly tasty dishes. However, the service is poor, really not up to par for such a restaurant and the prices they charge. It's the service of a simple corner restaurant, not a Michelin-starred restaurant. Moreover, 15 euros per person for "tap water" (it says so on the bottle) is truly excessive. Unfortunately, this was a one-time thing, never again.

Last night we had an amazing experience here after the reopening. Every dish was fantastic with some larger and some smaller dishes. Never hungry and never too full- with personal attention in a colorful space. The wine list has a great variety and is very well priced. Rick was happy to help us find a hidden gem. We’ll be back!

The two of us came here for the dinner experience and we loved it. The food was amazingly prepared and catered to both vegetarian and vegan! The dishes were creative, delicious, and well thought out. You would find a world wide of flavors at your table! I had wanted a glass of wine but they only sold bottles, and the server was kind enough to open a bottle so I can get a glass. The servers were all so amazing, and so accommodating, from both speaking English slowly to my mom to offering to take my jacket when it got warmer at the restaurant. I can’t wait to go back! I highly recommend Daalder!

Led by Chef Dennis Huwaë Daalder is located in Het Sieraad, graffiti and EDM flooding a multi-colored interior as the outside patio offers privileged views of the canals while diners explore creative and whimsical cuisine. Raised with roots in Indonesia, a cuisine more common in The Netherlands than other European nations, guests visiting Daalder are offered a choice of Tasting Menus versus a la carte courses, though the later also includes a few complimentary bites such as “Nigiri” of bruleed Salmon atop a delicate Meringue. Also serving “Satay” shaped like a Peanut and Bao topped by Thai Shrimp, plus a generous portion of Fried Chicken with Caviar, proper Appetizers comprise Octopus with pearls of Pasta, Grapefruit and Mushrooms or Langoustines in a vibrant Bisque. Not forgetting hot pull-apart Brioche alongside stamped Butter, spendy but worthy, Entrees include seasonal Lamb brightened by Miso and Orange plus locally caught Cod and Huwaë’s signature Beet Ravioli with Spinach filling. Awarded one Michelin star, though priced akin to Two-starred spots like Spectrum, Desserts find “Sweet Corn” a little forced though the two-plate Blueberry soufflé is exemplary, as are Daalder’s celebrated Stroopwafel Ice Cream Sandwiches.

Great place to eat, every dish was a surprise… but … if you can afford it.

We received the restaurant recommendation from friends and can only pass it on warmly. We enjoyed a wonderful summer evening on the terrace, right by the water. The service was perfect, the food a delight to the palate and mesmerizing to the eye. Fantastic dishes are served with such attention to detail. The sommelier paired us with the perfect wine to suit our tastes. We ordered à la carte, and the menu served at the next table also looked excellent. On our next visit to Amsterdam, we will definitely spend another evening at Daalder.

Today I tasted the best piece of meat ever A5 Wagyu that literally melts on your tongue and is prepared so "on point" that literally nothing else is needed. (Although the side dishes were really great). And I got a delicious pineau des charentes with a very well composed cheese board. (I really like that but I rarely get it in a restaurant) I could call that my highlights, but this lunch was a series of great dishes, one after the other refined, daring and terribly tasty. Today's lunch consisted of Dennis' Favourites. First of all: Daalder has a nice, smooth, super hospitable and professional service and a sommelier who really enjoyed our conversations about "his" wines: beautiful pairings. The amazement started with a fantastic parade of amuses followed by delicious langoustine. The perfect brioche not "on the side" but in a deserved leading role as an intermediate course. And a beautiful white fish dish. (alternative to the sambuca egg). And certainly an honorable mention of the signature Stroopwafel. But that Wagyu... that will stay with me. Definitely an afternoon to cherish for a long time. Great place, Great people who know their trade better than anyone.

Such innovative, delicious and beautiful dishes. You can tell the love and meticulous detail that went into preparing each dish. My favorite hands down was the Turbot with brown butter and truffle orzo. It was TO DIE for. Next up was the nigiri salmon on sushi rice merengue. Never had anything like it before.

Very tasty food. Especially the combination of the caviar and tuna tartare with the melon sake was phenomenal! In terms of service and atmosphere it could be a bit more professional for the price you pay.

A very nice atmosphere. I've never been to a "star restaurant" and didn't know what to expect. The photos online certainly looked casual. It was a very nice experience where you were pampered. Jacket accepted, very very friendly staff with a lot of knowledge and skills, especially passion. It is recommended that you ask for a recommendation for drinks, cocktails or wine. I have never before experienced the enthusiasm with which the service tells us what best suits the next round, or what their favorite cocktail recipe is. It has a price tag, but for the experience and being pampered by the accompanying staff, it was definitely worth it for me. Not to mention the food, because I think you can see plenty of reviews about that at a star restaurant. A great fancy yet casual atmosphere but it is difficult not to smile constantly. “oh this is really cool” was my constant thought line. If you want to treat yourself to a unique experience where explosions of taste and lovely interested people complete your evening, I highly recommend this restaurant. I was afraid that in addition to the well-known price for the dining experience, the drinks would be very high, because I didn't have a drinks menu (it was being worked on, I was told), but I didn't find it shocking and reasonable for the skill and taste. Me and my girlfriend had a great evening, both vegetarian and indicated that my girlfriend doesn't like mushrooms. this was taken into account. Thank you!

Enjoyed our dinner at Michelin star Daalder. We took the tasting experience menu, which was a success and included 4 small bites and 6 courses. Insanely long wait. Dinner takes 5 hours! The decoration of the restaurant is not bad, but there is nothing magical about it. The food is quite interesting, but it’s difficult to call it very tasty. The selection of wines for the dishes served is quite strange; in my opinion, they do not suit each other well. But the most outrageous thing is the waiting time. between sets. Dinner took 5 hours!!! And we left without waiting for the last set and without ordering coffee.

Simply perfect! Creative and delicious food. What an energizing and welcoming environment. The wine pairing is a must. The mâitre sommelier, Saskia, is an absolute gem.

Als gelatine je ding is, ga je gang. Als je dol bent op knoflook, zit je hier ook goed. Maar ik verwacht heel veel meer van een restaurant met een Michelinster. Ik wilde hier al jaren heen en ik kan niet geloven wat een deceptie deze lunch was. Van alle Michelin restaurants waar ik heb gegeten in Amsterdam, was dit de slechtste ervaring. De wijnen waren sub par, de bediening ook. 650 euro extra moeten afrekenen voor wijnen die je onder normale omstandigheden niet eens op het menu terug zou vinden, ik vind het een schertsvertoning. Ja, het was een middag gekoppeld aan Loveland maar je gooit op deze wijze echt je ster te grabbel. Ik zal hier niet nog een keer eten.

If gelatin (???) is your thing, go ahead. If you love garlic, you've come to the right place. But I expect more finesse from a restaurant with a Michelin star. I've wanted to go here for years and I can't believe what a deception this lunch was. Of all the Michelin restaurants I ate at in Amsterdam, this was the worst experience. The wines were sub par, as was the service. Having to pay 650 euros extra for wines that you wouldn't even find on the menu under normal circumstances, I think it's a charade. Yes, it was an afternoon linked to Loveland (as was also said by the staff in advance, don't expect Daalder quality, who says that anyway?) but you are really wasting your star this way. I won't eat here again.

Na eerdere ervaring in het restaurant via Sous het thuismenu besteld voor 2 personen. Niet echte goedkoop voor bij EUR 200, maar wel veel goedkoper dan in het restaurant. De video’s van de chef kok zijn heel duidelijk en de gerechten zijn goed zelf te maken. Het neemt wel even tijd, maar dat was juist leuk op oudejaarsavond. Wel blijkt de inhoud van de bakjes veel kariger dan op de video, 2 bakjes zijn zelfs zo goed al leeg. Kennelijk 1 van de laatste dozen. Maar de smaken zijn zeer uitbundig en vallen in goede aarde. Zelf een paar goede wijnen erbij en we hebben een topavond.

Had a great meal at Daalder! We were with a large group yesterday, and it was all really fantastically organized. We were warmly welcomed and the atmosphere in the restaurant is relaxed and nice. We had a wonderful experience because the food was really good, but also because the sommelier came up with beautiful and daring drink pairings. Everything came together beautifully. The dish with octopus and grapefruit will stay with me for a long time! A memorable experience!

The atmosphere seems a bit “forced” hip/artsy and was missing a special buzz/vibe. The description of the dishes provided a promise of an Explosion of taste, which sadly wasn’t delivered. Average rated wines are MASSIVELY overpriced. The chef is not stopping by to greet the limited amount of guests who are spending €500+ per couple there. A great location if you have something to celebrate -- for my partner's birthday we went for dinner with good friends. We sat in a booth, relaxed and suitable for intimate conversations. Great chef's special menu done with fantastic wines advised by radiant sommelier Saskia. Definitely not a bargain, but definitely highly recommended.

This place is phenomenal. I was fortunate enough to experience a private dinner at Daalder, and I was impressed by the care for the ingredients, the flavors, and the combinations that elevated even more my palate. I am still thinking about their truffle cappuccino and their fresh buns.

I had a somewhat unusual experience at Daalder, because I was unfortunately the victim of food poisoning (due to a pastry eaten before the restaurant). Despite this, the team was absolutely adorable and attentive throughout the meal. I couldn't finish my dishes, but every bite I tasted was exceptional. The service was impeccable, the atmosphere warm, and the attention paid to customers is truly rare these days. I am disappointed that I was not able to fully enjoy this culinary experience, but I am already looking forward to returning in better conditions. ‘Fine dining in a relaxed environment’ is how it was described somewhere. And my dinner last night was exactly that. Each course was delicious and the service was attentive and relaxed at the same time. Put this restaurant on your list.

everything here was mediocre. it was meant to be a michelin star restaurant but nothing was worth that title. starting from the atmosphere it was below average but we continued to give the place a chance. from sitting down we didn’t feel taken care of - the manager wasn’t welcoming and we were offered to try things outside of the chef’s menu, things that didn’t go with the menu at all. the food was honestly very bad. the only good thing was the croissant with butter — after they brought us cod with two sauces that tasted very bad and smelled like corpse. you can have a michelin star but you should know that these two dishes do not go with each other because i was ready to throw up. and to top off this experience at the end their card machine did not, not only for me but for the two people next to me as well. when their machine didn’t worked they asked me to give my account info or go to the bank to get cash. at the end i solved the problem with the card reader by inserting my card instead of tapping. when i spoke to the manager she didn’t do anything and just said sorry. i have been to other michelin star restaurants but this has been the worst and so far from the experience one might expect

Helen era la mejor gerente y sumiller. Maridó perfectamente cada plato del menú del chef. Ella tiene tantos trucos geniales en la manga para que sea una experiencia completa. Definitivamente pídale una recomendación sobre qué beber. Sacó este increíble vino dulce español para el sampler de queso opcional (entiendes). Swaan es un amor total y siempre estaba allí para asegurarse de que sabía lo que me estaban sirviendo. Lo mismo con Joris y Carlo. Para los bocados opcionales, Oysters Rockefeller fueron increíbles. Y las ostras cítricas eran únicas y deliciosas.

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying lunch at Daalder, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I stepped inside, the warm and inviting atmosphere made me very comfortable. The highlight was undoubtedly the Chef's menu. Each dish was a delightful surprise, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The creativity and passion behind every course were evident, making the meal feel like an authentic culinary journey. The staff were attentive and friendly, adding to the overall wonderful experience. Their knowledge about the dishes enhanced my appreciation for the food even more. The place is quite peculiar in terms of atmosphere and lighting. The food was not bad, I think what surprised us the most were the starters. The waiting times between courses are extremely long and the evening becomes heavy. We arrived at 6:25 p.m. and left at 10:43 p.m., which seems outrageous to me. The pleasant and attentive treatment. They don't have much of a variety of cocktails but the one we tried was very good.

The sommelier (I didn’t catch her name but she’s new, started in Feb 2024) and was LOVELY. We ordered the chefs menu and everything was so good. We legit couldn’t eat any more food. The only course that was just ‘ok’ was the lamb course. Everything else we ate and drank was so so good. The pairings were unique and very interesting. We had a great time for our anniversary dinner while in Amsterdam - and this experience made it so special.

First of all, the ambient light is purple and green which gives me the impression of being at a lousy bar. Second, the food is rather mediocre as a fine dining. The two appetizers were way too salty, and the hamachi salad tasted very strange with the foamy sauce. The main lamb neck was cooked very tender however, the taste lamb was very strong. The only dish that I think it’s okay is the pasta. Last, it took almost three hours for us to finish the menu. The wait time between each course is very very long.

A few years ago I had dinner at the old location with my wife, we sat at the "chef table" at the bar, great memories, food was great and service was very good. September 2, 2024 new location things were a bit different..... Beautiful thing for sure, you either like it or you don't. Service, two completely different ladies, service certainly good, only a very present lady who could only talk in the "I" form, I had quite a problem with that. I am severely allergic to mushrooms and clearly indicate this by email, as it is really not possible to get a dish with mushrooms in a star restaurant. We got a dish with cod, mashed potatoes and hollandaise sauce, fish was undercooked, the end piece was of the lion, and did not smell fresh. After we received a much too salty candied lamb, I asked for the bill, paid it and left the place very quickly. It's a shame that this evening turned out this way.

Enjoying the hospitality of Denis and his team is a voyage to the gastronomic sky of the Netherlands.Each course of the wonderful composted menu is an explosion of taste and senses.The choice of wines in the wine pairing offering is exceptional and underlines perfect the fantastic tastes. Service is perfect and very attentive and charming. Officially the team has one star Michelin- for me totally under evaluated.They cook meanwhile at a level of 3 stars.Daalder is an experience! - It's a must ! MN

A pleasantly colorful restaurant with excellent food, first-class wine and very friendly service. We enjoyed the excellent 'Dennis Favorites Menu'. All courses were excellent in terms of taste and of the best quality. We particularly enjoyed the Irish Mór and the Wagyu.

Surprises in flavours throughout. Service can be tad more attentive

I want to warn, check not only a bill, but an amount debited from your account. They show you the correct bill and then type a bigger sum in the payment terminal. In my case they excluded deposit from the bill amount, but when I checked my account I found out that the whole sum was debited. I had to return to the restaurant and they gave me my deposit back in cash. If you look through others reviews you can see that it happened with other clients too. Despite this I have to say the food was very tasty and served beautifully. And the wine pairing was well too. Service was ordinary. Only difference with non-mishlen restaurants - they quickly named the ingredients of the dish, when brought it. The money deception ruined all the impression.

Trust your instincts! This place has incredible food, however you WILL be there for at least 3+ hours and you WILL leave hungry. The food was so wonderful but the pace and service was very…average and looooongggg… even if it’s Europe and Europeans enjoy the relaxation and taking their time, this amount of time is unbearable.

SUPER Arrogante ongeïnteresseerd personeel, niet gast gericht. Mis het vakmanschap om mensen in de watten te leggen. Daarin tegen worden de gerechten al opgesomd tijdens het proeven van de wijn, waardoor je de uitleg mist. Water wordt voor 2x€15 gewoon open gemaakt zonder te vragen . Eten: prijs kwaliteit verhouding is zoek. Veel van verwacht, maar was een enorme teleurstelling. Geen aanrader

Really unique and interesting dishes, superb service and amazing flavours.

Daalder is outside of the more touristy city center, but I am glad I made the trip here. I did the longer tasting menu, and had the sommelier do some wine pairings; everything was excellent, although the oyster was a particular standout. Particular thanks for the excellent service to a solo diner.

Nice atmosphere, good service, fantastic food.

Although the food was delicious, unfortunately the service was very poor. My husband and I felt quite neglected during dinner. After our aperitif we sat without a drink for 45 minutes. We had to ask three times if someone could come to our table to explain the wine options before someone finally came. My partner had also informed them in advance that this was a birthday surprise and the restaurant told him that they would prepare a special dessert but nothing came. We have informed the staff and sent an email to let management know about our experience and disappointment but we never received a reply. I guess they don't really value customer feedback and thats why we’re writing this public review. Its a shame because the food was very nice but given the poor service I don't think this restaurant deserves a michelin star.

De gerechten zijn michelin ster waardig, de totale beleving, experience is onvoldoende. Er wordt niet ingespeeld op de wensen, er is geen chemie met het personeel. Dit is jammer en zorgt ervoor dat de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding niet juist is.

Had a very bad experience. Not customer friendly at all when we wanted to change something in our reservation. And when checking the receipt, extra items appeared to be attached. This was on the recommendation of other guests who left the restaurant just before us. They advised us to check the receipt carefully (fortunately).

I tried the tasting menu. From the first dish to the last every single one of them impeccably presented and tasted sublime. I also liked their laid back attitude, great for travellers. Would definitely recommend to try.

With a friend to Daalder, initially for the streetfood, but since the weather was bad, we decided to upgrade. In hindsight, no regrets, even way better. About the food: We chose the experience menu, and it was the best choice. I don't think we could have done the other menu, too much for us. We truly enjoyed every dish, and the first bite was spot on. In one word:fantastic! In Melayu I would say: luar biasa! Everything was prepared with lots of care. We did have to mention that the food shouldn't be served too quickly one after the other. The wines recommended by Saskia perfectly complemented the meal. What a lovely and amazing person she is. Saskia fits the family vibe that Chef Dennis aims to create at Daalder. Staff: Saskia was outstanding, a sommelier who knows her job and can tell the story behind the bottle of wine which she recommanded. The service from the young blonde lady and the young men was superb! Very attentive and so customer-friendly. The young lady apologized because they forgot to explain which cutlery to use/start with. This is what I call class: stepping up and taking your responsibility. The manager, we found to be the least impressive. It felt like she didn't really belong there, seemed lost. As the Moluccans would say: muka culas. But hey, despite this minor thing, we had a blast of an evening. The staff who prepared the food were cheerful and exuded hospitality. I'm a person who relies on my feelings, and due to my work, I can quickly analyze if someone fits into the work environment. In general, they are young people with a healthy drive and a strong work ethic. Except for one employee who didn't show her "Michelin customerservice". Conclusion: Would definitely recommand Daalder. It's trendy, cozy with a relaxed ambience. Thank God the set up is on a small scale, so it won't be overcrowded. Daalder has no pretentious, overly fancy intentions. It's a restaurant where you can walk in wearing your everyday clothes (which my friend did). A beautiful evening with an incredibly good kitchen. For us an outstanding dinner with lots of catching up to do while enjoying the excellent cuisine. Will be at the Four Hands Dinner - collab Dennis Huwaë & Nigel Eccles at Gossler Florin. Can't wait,
