Very poor compared to other restaurants and prices. For example, the Sint Oedenrode farm is three times better in terms of atmosphere and food... but good luck in Eindhoven, pfff🫣

I ate here for the first time and took my parents there for Christmas. What a great choice! The courses were exquisite, the wine was good, and everything tasted wonderful. The staff was very friendly and exceptionally hospitable. Thank you for a wonderful Christmas evening!

We had the Christmas menu last night for €84.50. All six courses were excellent, both in taste and presentation. The value for money was unbeatable, and the service was very attentive. It was also a great feature that we could order a half-liter of wine for each course.

The food was delicious, the environment was pleasant, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. I would highly recommend it to all my friends.

Our go-to-restaurant for family celebrations or when we feel like occasionally treating ourselves with haute cuisine! This place is worth the price/quality ratio. The menu changes every season - we paid a visit during winter and summer, autumn/spring will be on the next bucketlist :-)

We dined here last night and opted for the 6-course signature menu. We received a warm welcome and the atmosphere was immediately good. The restaurant was full, but thanks to the excellent acoustics, we were able to chat comfortably. The food was strong, as were the accompanying wines. The first amuse-bouche was a bit bland for us and lacked excitement, but after that, the quality immediately picked up with dishes bursting with flavor. The various porcini mushroom preparations were a real standout. The venison was also a favorite: super tender, with a delicious stew. The sauce had a slightly burnt flavor; we politely mentioned this, and it was immediately addressed with the chef. We were served two desserts, and for us dessert lovers, they were a real treat. The pear and apple was light and refreshing, and the chocolate dessert was exactly what you hope for at the end of such a menu. We went home satisfied and will definitely be back!

Good acoustics. Friendly service, but not attentive. When clearing empty glasses, they could do with a new drink. Meager portions. Greasy tournedos (which shouldn't be) that were mentioned but not addressed.

Satisfied and grateful, we returned from a lovely dinner. We even arrived late due to parking problems. I called them last minute, but it wasn't a problem. We received a very warm welcome and excellent, knowledgeable service! Our starter wasn't cooked through enough for my pregnant wife—it happens. When we pointed this out, they brought a new course without hesitation. Questions about wines were expertly answered. The main course was excellent; we really enjoyed it. Worth the visit for a better meal.

The price-quality ratio is absolutely terrible. Far too expensive for what's served and the overall experience. Everything was slammed onto the table, plates were cleared away within a second of the last bite, and we were literally kicked out at 10:15 PM on a Friday night with a "we're leaving soon" attitude. The food and wine were also far worse than expected for those prices.

I don't quite understand where the good ratings come from. Based on other restaurants in Eindhoven, I think this is a poor value for money. A rather high price for mediocre food. For the price, I would expect very good service and luxuriously prepared, high-quality food. It was okay, but not worth the money. There are plenty of restaurants in Eindhoven where you can get much better food for the same price, or where you can get at least as good food for less.

Enjoyed a delicious three-course meal for two. Beautiful and exquisite food for the reasonable price of €115, including a bottle of water and two soft drinks. Wines are not included.

One experience which will be recorded for life. Stunning place. The dishes were amazing. Team was extremely knowledgeable. We have chosen 6 course menu. Which were even a bit more than we expected. The wine was OK. But I would studied more. Because it could be chosen even better.

Casual and a touch chic is just perfect! What a lovely restaurant. We had the chef's menu and all the dishes were delicious. A good wine list too, with gems like the Priorat. And very pleasant service, highly recommended!

Have had the Signature menu with wine pairing on a couple of occasions. Cannot recommend enough.

Having made a reservation for 9:00 PM, we showed up and were told that, unfortunately, given the time, we could only have the 3- or 4-course menu. Why do you require reservations at 9:00 PM if you then say it's too late???? Furthermore, we weren't given a menu, nor were we given the opportunity to see the prices. The dishes were good, but nothing more. We left dissatisfied.

We had a fantastic meal here for the second time! Everything was perfect. Delicious flavors, matching wines, friendly staff, and very affordable. We'd love to come back. Our favorite spot in Eindhoven.

My wife and I had a wonderful meal at Restaurant Dijk9. From the first course to the last, it was a feast! Everything was perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. We enjoyed, among other things, sticky prawns, pata negra, scallops, tuna, truffle pizza, pork belly, and lobster Thermidor. Every single dish was top-notch! The service was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy an evening of culinary indulgence.

We had such a wonderful meal here with friends! A four-course menu with excellent wine pairings, accompanied by a good explanation of the origins. One small thing that irritated me: a "running" waiter gave the guests an unpleasant, rushed feeling. It felt like you could always just "get in" for a moment, which was a shame! But despite that, the waiter was very friendly, and we had a wonderful evening and enjoyed a lovely meal outside!

The food was excellent, and the price-quality ratio was even exceptional. The seating is a bit close together, and it feels a bit crowded. After the delicious meal, I decided to finish with an espresso, accompanied, of course, by a glass of water. I couldn't resist that glass of water. Even after asking repeatedly, it wasn't an option. The only option was to buy a bottle of water. Even in lesser-regarded restaurants, a glass of water with an espresso is practically standard. We had the extensive menu with matching wines, so it wasn't like we were cheap that evening. This really mars the evening and detracts from the ambiance and the quality the restaurant aims to project.

Delicious food and beautifully presented plates. It's a shame I had to tell the same waiter four times that I'm lactose-free. We felt like they were too busy. New wine glasses were already on the table and old ones weren't brought. It was a bit chaotic, unlike the previous times. But it's still a lovely spot in Eindhoven.

Good menu, tasty dishes, and reasonable prices. I always find Dijk9 surprisingly delicious and relaxed. It's surprising because they don't boast about it, yet the dishes are beautiful and well-seasoned. The staff is down-to-earth, friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced. It's a relaxed atmosphere, and the service is quick, which is great for people like me who can't sit still for long (the staff works really hard, I think).

Celebrated our 41st wedding anniversary with a 4-course lunch at Dijk9. A good 2 hours of being spoiled with delicious dishes and wines. Good service on a cozy terrace. Highly recommended. We will definitely eat there again.

Overall really lovely quiet setting and offers a delicious well-thought out menu. The service was top-notch from beginning to end. Would recommend! The only downside was that the scallops were overly salted but this can happen.

"Super Friends' Trip to France, Belgium and the Netherlands" was on the sixth day in Europe on May 22. On the first night of the trip to the Netherlands 🇳🇱, we enjoyed dinner at Restaurant Eindhoven Dijk9 in Eindhoven. The restaurant had beautiful lighting and a good dining atmosphere, which made people feel happy.

Edit after 7 years: By now it has embraced the upper quality segment for tasty food within a laid-back setting. Not a pub but a fine choice for some quality lunch or dining. The pricing is fair and overall the place deserves a visit. Went for a bite to eat with my father on a Wednesday and it was a good thing we had made a reservation. Above average attention to gastronomy and attentive service.

Lekker eten, fijne sfeer en relaxte bediening. Het was er rustig, geen herrie of drukte, dus je kon goed met elkaar praten en ontspannen tafelen. Het eten was top, goed op smaak en mooi opgemaakt. Je merkt dat er aandacht aan besteed is. Ook fijn dat we niet hoefden te haasten tussen de gangen door. De bediening was vriendelijk en lette goed op, zonder steeds aan je tafel te staan. We voelden ons welkom. Kortom: heerlijk gegeten en een fijne avond gehad. Hier komen we zeker nog een keer terug!

Yesterday we had something to drink on the terrace at the end of the afternoon. Called in advance to ask if it was possible, it was possible! Then you arrive and they are not exactly friendly (stiff, surly, strange attitude), both gentleman and lady at that moment. Something I'm not used to here, too bad. I don't know what was going on, it wasn't busy... but my company thought it was quite inappropriate. If you prefer diners, I advise you to indicate this immediately at the beginning.

We thought 1 strip of pork belly at 32 euros was a bit too expensive, but otherwise highly recommended

We thoroughly enjoyed a 6-course dinner. The atmosphere was casual and the service was excellent. The plates were beautifully presented and the flavors, in combination with the wines, were perfectly matched. However, there was one small downside: the sauce for the lobster ravioli was a bit too buttery in our opinion.

Had a delicious meal here on Friday 21-2. Thanks for the flexibility with booking, much appreciated. The food, both meat/fish and vegetarian, was very tasty and culinary. Delicious wine with it. Nice atmosphere, good attentive service. Highly recommended!

For almost €220 (2 persons 6 courses incl. Bob package) we expected a more refined experience. I didn't like the concept of an appetizer menu without first seeing the full menu. We were not given a physical menu, only verbal suggestions, and afterwards it turned out that there were more menu options than we were told, which we may have preferred. The appetizers differed in size and the bowl in which they were presented still had food remains from the previous round. The service seemed rushed, and the wine story felt like a repetitive routine and not very interactive. There was little room for questions or a personal touch. In addition, I thought the portions were on the small side—after six courses I still needed a snack board at home. The pros? The pace between courses was pleasant and the main course was very tasty. However, I did not find the price-quality ratio to be in balance.

We celebrated Valentine's Day here and it was fantastic. They took my gluten allergy into account very well and the food was delicious. Surprising dishes and very nice wine pairings. The staff went above and beyond to make the evening special.

Yesterday (11-02-2025) we had a luxurious, culinary lunch with 9 people. Super friendly service, delicious food, nice wines and good atmosphere! Highly recommended, for dinner but certainly also for lunch. Thank you Dorus and team, you are doing very well!!

Wat een geweldige smaken in het 'doe maar lekker dik' menu. Wijntjes erbij, perfect! We hebben een heerlijke avond gehad, super!

Prima restaurant. Goede bediening. Prijs kwaliteit beleving klopt niet. Voor €100 pp verwacht ik tafellinnen, geen 6 euro voor supplementen patat, verwacht zelfgemaakte mayonaise, zeker niet met truffel additief. Kaas prima, raakt net niet de norm. Gezellige avond, maar voor dit geld moet t simpelweg beter.

Heerlijk gegeten! Fijn dat er heel goed rekening werd gehouden met de dieetwensen! Perfect!! Fijne atmosfeer en ambiance.

On Thursday, January 16, we visited Dijk9, a restaurant known for its challenging cuisine and smooth service with a touch of chic.  Our culinary journey consisted of a selection of dishes, each offering a unique experience in its own right. • Skrei: Available only a few months of the year, this Norwegian winter cod was perfectly prepared and served with complementary garnishes that emphasized the freshness of the fish. • Pigeon: The meat was juicy and full of flavor, with cooking that accentuated the rich, earthy notes of the pigeon. • Argentinian Beef Tenderloin: Known for its tenderness and rich flavor, the tenderloin was excellently prepared and accompanied by side dishes that enhanced the natural flavors without overpowering them. • Dry-aged beet: A surprising dish in which the beet undergoes a ripening process similar to that of meat, resulting in a concentrated umami flavor and a firm texture. This innovative dish offered a unique and satisfying experience. The ambiance of Dijk9 is warm and intimate, with a modern design and atmospheric lighting. The service was friendly, professional and knowledgeable about the dishes and matching wines. The wine pairings were excellently chosen and enhanced the flavors of the dishes. A special word of thanks to hostess Marieke, who made our evening extra special with her warm and attentive service. Dijk9 delivers a gastronomic experience in which refinement and creativity come together. The combination of craftsmanship in the kitchen, high-quality ingredients and a hospitable setting makes this restaurant a top choice for lovers of high-quality, well-thought-out dishes in a relaxed atmosphere. Ordered a delicious dinner box for a pleasant evening of New Year's Eve. Everything is neatly and tastefully prepared so that you only have to take care of the finishing touches.

We really enjoyed the takeaway menu of December 31 with our friends. Everything was well taken care of and the instructions were clear and professional!

For Boxing Day we ordered a festive menu for 9 people to take home. All parts of the dishes were neatly and clearly packaged, the instructions were also clear and easy. We spent about 10 to 15 minutes preparing each course, which was perfect for us. We had a delicious meal, definitely worth repeating!

Wij hadden het homecooking 4 gangen menu besteld voor 1e Kerstdag. Het menu was geweldig! Zo lekker gegeten. Alles was al tot in de puntjes voorbereid en met de filmpjes was het heel makkelijk om de gerechten te maken. Het was een geweldige ervaring. Ik zou het homecooking menu aan iedereen aanraden!

1e kerstdag hier genoten van een heerlijk 6 gangendiner die gecomplimeteerd werd met prachtig wijnarrangement. Alles was perfect. Eten was fantastisch, personeel was super aardig én kundig in het uitleggen van de gerechten en de wijnen. Absoluut een aanrader om hier eens heen te gaan ook als het geen kerst is.

What a nice tent! Chic, but with a relaxed atmosphere. The food was really great and the service was really good. For 4 courses (without dessert), a glass of champagne and a bottle of wine we spent €90 per person. Definitely worth it!

Sint and Piet were thinking about what to give Dave and Maike. A ball or a doll, both ideas were great. Perhaps something to shoot for or something to enjoy. Piet said: I have an idea! How about a nice dinner. A home box from Dijk 9 is a blessing for everyone. 4 delicious courses to long for. And so happened, which no one regretted. Kleine hoeveelheden, Vleesgerecht met 2 spruiten er bij Veg gerecht met aubergine , in 2 happen weg Ik had nog trek , bestelde een kaasplateau á€15 5 stukjes kaas van 2x7cm Iedere keer ander bestek , bij voorgerecht draait de vork in je hand , meer aandacht voor het bestek en de borden dan voor het eten zelf, dat zie ik liever andersom. Bediening is oke.

Heerlijk genoten van het 4 gangen herfstarrangement. Smaakvol en afwisselende gerechten , die je telkens verrassen. We komen zeker snel weer terug. 👍

Ik heb hier al eerder gegeten maar gisteren is de laatste keer geweest Het menu bevatte weinig/geen hoogtepunten en de smaak van de main course (steak) werd totaal overheerst door een sterke tijmmarinade Bediening schreeuwde de gerechten in onze oren en de rekening werd zo ongeveer op tafel gesmeten

Had lunch with two friends at Dijk 9, a long-standing restaurant at the heart of Eindhoven. We took the 3-courses (surprise) menu (starter, in-between and main), which was preceded by some amuses. We chose a Martine Bru (Priorat) to accompany this, which turned out to be a good match. Excellent dishes with subtle tastes and well presented. Pleasant service and pricing. Will defintely come back!

The food was really good and employees did their best. Then the problem: we reserved for 18 people. Walking dinner, this implies 5 of us have to eat standing according to the restaurant. Furthermore, the table was so incredibly small the service had trouble reaching people with the food. Some of us ate at the bar separate of our group, because of lack of space. We had on email a confirmation for 18. Atrocious. If you can’t fit a group, then don’t take the reservation. Because the restaurant was so crowded, the kitchen also had trouble following and we had amuses for 1,5 hours starting after our final guests arrived.

After visiting the museum, we stopped here for a drink and a bite. We sat outside, which was very pleasant in the sunny autumn weather. Overall, the food was outstanding—well-prepared and delicious. We tried the tuna carpaccio, Zeeland oysters, fried oysters, and bread. Each dish was impressively prepared and flavorful. On the downside, the service wasn’t perfect; they forgot our water, but the staff was very kind and accommodating. We didn’t get to experience the indoor atmosphere, but I imagine it’s as enjoyable, if not better, than the outdoor seating. I would recommend trying this restaurant. The people are kind, the food is excellent, and the cocktails are also top-notch.

I have been there with the birthday party of my girlfriend and we had a dinner with seven other friends and the night was amazing. Perfect and delicious food. Amazing and professional service. I am a vegan and there were even special made dishes for me. We had informed the restaurant that I was vegan in advance.

Had dinner here three times, and each time was impressed by the quality of the dishes and the service. We always opt for the 5-course dinner, where each guest's specific dietary requirements are taken into account. For example, last time we had a combination of diners who wanted vegan/no fish/extra small portions, and everything was met. Every dish is a work of art. Fine dining restaurant with incredibly good food but in an informal setting. Service was good, food was delicious. Price-quality is in proportion; You pay a little more here, but you also get delicious dishes in return. It became a bit busier later in the evening, which made it a bit noisy and made it difficult for the group (3 pax) to hear each other. This may also have to do with where you sit. For the rest, highly recommended!

Met een groep van 9 vrienden genoten van een fantastisch Herfst arrangement met 5 gangen. Daarbij hadden we super wijnen en de bediening was vlot en heel plezierig. Aan iedereen aan te bevelen. Ideaal voor ons uit het westen met logeren in het Park Plaza hotel Eindhoven om de hoek!

We ate here for lunch today. The food was very tasty, apart from the main course. The meat of the main course was quite tough unfortunately. What we also found very unfortunate was that it was very cold inside, and that the lady who did the cleaning had decided to extensively clean the cupboard next to our table, which she had been doing (at intervals) for at least an hour and a half. That can of course happen, but if the place is almost empty it would have been more convenient if she had done this at a different time and done something else. Now we had the feeling that we were more in the way than welcome here. The employee who helped us to the table was very friendly and helpful.

Very friendly help, we called in advance to see if a physical disability within our group could be taken into account and this was no problem. Immediately helped with the door upon arrival and all our questions were taken into account. The food and wines were also excellent, beautifully presented and clear love and attention to product and detail. All in all, a nice, atmospheric place with extremely hospitable staff and good and exceptionally fast service.
