Food was really amazing. Service super good. Can’t wait to be there again.

The pizza “Buffala” was not good - I don’t understand how you managed to mess up the onions to the point they were so sour and vinegary, it must’ve taken effort. There were no olives, barely any mozzarella, and it was overpriced. For that price I expect much more. And there were very loud Dutch girls shouting all evening. I ended up with a headache.

Really, really wonderful food in a warm and inviting spot. We had a great time!

Mystical. But somehow good (pizza!); Gorgonzola was okay to bad. Tiramisu was different but incredibly good. Generally, the pizzas tasted different.

I have had to become 52 years old to eat the best Carbonara of my whole life. To be able to layer the simplicity of this recipe into something so faceted with the pasta perfectly al dente, the guanciale crunchy with roast aromas and the thickness of the egg yolk parmesan base. Unbelievable. Thank you for this experience. I'll never be able to order this anywhere else again I'm afraid..

We’ve been to Sebastian few times, very good Pizza, super Vitello Tonnato and overall good Pasta, always well cooked.. we like the place. This time Carbonara and Amatriciana were too salty😜

They change the time they are open daily. Staff is inconsistent and consistently rude. Food is overpriced and extremely underwhelming. Overall, a fine place.

The concierge clerk, Rob Blom, from Krasnapolsky Grand Hotel recommended this Italian restaurant to me and my husband, and we were not disappointed. Immediately we were greeted by a vivacious and beautiful bartender who was equally friendly. Michael and I shared the Margarita pizza for lunch and it was delicious. She also served me a generous pour of red. ;) The place is clean and cozy and the bar stools are comfortable, upholstered and have backs which we found many of the bars in Amsterdam do not have. Most have plain wooden stools. If we didn't have tickets to the Van Gogh museum, we would have stayed for more food. The items on the menu sounded fantastic! :)

One of the best meals my family and I have ever had, even though we dined later than usual (9pm). The atmosphere was amazing, from the lighting to the music and the staff were super friendly and gave great recommendations. The amatriciana and carbonara pastas were out of this world, and the margherita pizza and gnocchi were superb as well. 10/10 experience, highly recommend to anyone looking for an outstanding Italian meal in Amsterdam.

Perfect family pizza/pasta restaurant. We had just arrived in Amsterdam and we were tired and hungry and this restaurant was only 5 mins walk from hotel. Service and food was 10/10 and the atmosphere was gorgeous.

Very good Italian atmosphere, if you had told me we were in Italy I would have believed it immediately, it feels like we are in Italy. Incredible food, I looked on TikTok and saw a video about a type of sandwich that was not on the menu. My taste buds went to heaven, the food was so good, I was completely amazed.

Tried: Margherita 3.5/5 Buffala differente: 4/5 (onion is super nice touch but i’d love to have more onion personally) Spicy Salami: 4.5/5 (super delicious) Tiramisu 3.5/5 (would be more creamy and the savoiardi would be more tender. I understand and respect the chef didn’t soak the biscuits on purpose but it was hard to slice and eat with spoon) Ambience was nice Staff was super friendly and helpful Would visit again for the spicy salami.

I once read somewhere that they serve mortadella sandwiches at Sebastian's and that's how I ended up there. I didn't find the sandwiches in question there, but man oh man, the pizza is delicious. The spicy salami pizza with gorgonzola and honey is incredibly delicious. Maybe the best pizza I've ever had. The only downside to this pizza is that it is sometimes a bit too greasy. The pizza mortadella with burrata and pistachio is also delicious. I have varying experiences with the service and attentiveness of the staff, but last Saturday everything was perfect.

We stopped by for a drink while wondering the streets of Amsterdam. A charming place with very capable bartenders.

Reasonable food in a relaxed atmosphere with friendly but slow and forgetful service. They forgot 3 of 10 meals our table ordered, and then forgot 1 of the missed 3 on the second attempt. Several drinks ordered and forgotten. Frustrating and underwhelming experience.

Ordered focaccia and melanzane starter. Unfortunately it was disappointing for the price you pay. The dough was excellent – ​​clearly from a gas-fired pizza oven – but the melanzane was prepared in an unusual way that did not turn out positively. A more traditional approach would be better. As a main course we had gnocchi and pizza. The gnocchi was bland and lacked depth of flavor. The pizza was decent: again excellent dough, but the topping was disappointing. The pizza picante was not spicy and had little toppings, especially gorgonzola was missing. All in all the flavors and presentation are not in balance with the prices.

I found this restaurant on a recent trip to Amsterdam and it is now one of my favorites in the world! Kindest waitstaff and lovely friendly ambiance. Delicious food. Best saffron risotto I’ve ever had! Spent my 40th birthday here

Unfortunately, totally overpriced, tiny portions, the gnocchi were overcooked, soggy and you sit in the stuffy smoke from the oven the whole time. The service was good, but unfortunately there is nothing more positive to say

How do I start? The pasta carbonara was very good and looks like the photos. The gnocchi was the size of an appetizer and way too soft. The pizzas were small and far too doughy for almost €20. If they were to be Napoli style, the pizza maker would have produced more focaccia with more dough. Maybe it's during the day but I can't recommend the restaurant given the prices.

I was meeting family there for a meal. Was shoved onto the end of a table and had people constantly bump into me when they went past. Ordered the carbonara. This may have been the worst carbonara I have ever had. Pasta was hard and not Al dente, unbelievably salty and I am not understating this. Not worth the price.

What a great top Italian restaurant from pizza to special Italian dishes, in a very trendy restaurant with excellent and attentive staff, delicious wines and not a small quantity. and the owner (Jushua) really helped with everything. You have to invest a lot to be present everywhere. I was here with my 3 friends, but will definitely come back soon. RECOMMENDED 👍

Don't come here for the food. Tourist trap with nice vibe however. Pretentious restaurant with micro portions and non customer oriented policies. Do not order the "Pancetta" appetizer. After the waitress asked how was our (partially eaten) pancetta - we said, meat is hard, chewy and fatty and not of quality. She took it back and offered to change the appetizer. We appreciated it and complied. 5 minutes later, she comes back and says she cannot take it off our bill, SHE and the CHEF tasted our (partially eaten) pancetta and judged it was good. LOL????? I guess there's a first for everything. 24 EUR for 6 bites of Ragu pasta. Some Nonna somewhere is turning in her grave. Overpriced overated, go through the reviews, most were clearly purchased. We messed up, we fell in love with the vibe as we were walking by. Avoid.

Easily one of the best I've ever had! 🍕 But the magic didn’t stop there! We also tried the Carbonara, and it was next-level. The guanciale? Super crispy, yet tender at the same time—exactly how it should be. Every bite felt like a trip to Rome. 🇮🇹🍝 And to finish, the classic Tiramisú paired with a glass of wine… perfection. 🍷 If you’re in town and want to experience Italy without the plane ticket, this is your spot! Very tasty pizza. Attentive and friendly staff. We were a bit pressed for time and the food took around 40 minutes from order to table. I actually think it's okay, but they still gave us two glasses of wine while we waited. I found that very friendly.

The restaurant is in great location, and interior is very chic! We had some great pizzas for dinner and tiramisu for desert! The staff was super nice and attentive, the wine which waitress proposed to us was good as well! All in all - I recommend!

Carbonara was really salty, undercooked and I didn't really like the sauce, for the food I felt it was way overpriced and small portions (btw I'm Italian) So if you go there don't get carbonara, I heard pizza is good (didn't try though)

De bediening was prima, Prijs kwaliteit en voor wat je krijgt van de pasta is onder de maat. Wat mijn het meest opviel, is dat de pizza bakker geregeld met zijn handen door zijn haar ging en daarna met zijn handen in het deeg! Tip, haarnetje.

Excellent evening at Sebastian last week. Joshua was super accommodating of our group of 7. Wonderful service - warm and welcoming - and terrific food! Kids loved the pizzas - carbonara was first rate. Would recommend to anyone visiting Amsterdam!

Excellent place for dinner. The pizza is top tier. The anchovies were amazing. The eggplant appetizer tasted great. They have coffee and a great wine list. Seating inside is great. I would recommend if you are needing a place to eat.
