Restaurant 't Vaantje in Wijk 07 Reeuwijk Brug

Fietsend langs de Reeuwijkse Plassen kom je het restaurant 't Vaantje tegen, mooi gelegen aan het water en een terras met voldoende zitgelegenheid en parasols. De menukaart heeft een aantal smakelijk lunchgerechten, die vlot worden bereid en worden uitgeserveerd. De gerechten zijn kwalitatief goed en smakelijk, en zijn redelijk geprijsd. Vriendelijke en vrolijke bediening. Geen spijt van.

€22,50 voor 1 spies saté, zonder patat, mayonaise en salade is buiten normaal. Dit restaurant prijst zich uit de markt.

Veel te duur voor wat je krijgt. Ik had 2 kroketten op brood. 2 sneden bruinbrood en 1 klein kuipje boter wat niet smeerbaar was. 2 zakjes mosterd die je haast niet open kon krijgen. Ben er met de hele familie geweest (10 personen) en geen van de aanwezigen was positief. Het was dus de laatste keer dat we er waren. Er was ook geen invalidentoilet en overal drempels. Mijn zus was net een rollator en iedereen moest haar helpen. Toen het nog het oude Vaantje was was het er een stuk gezelliger. We hebben er een aantal uurtjes gezeten en in totaal was er met het heerlijke zonnetje 4 mensen op het terras en op het laatste moment 2 mensen in de zaak. Zonde van zo’n plekje waar Kaas & Koeien toch iets leuks van kan maken. De overname is nou niet bepaald positief te noemen. Het wachten is op een sluiting omdat er niemand meer komt. Het enige wat ze meer hebben gekregen zijn klachten. Voor ons gezelschap een “no go” meer!

Heerlijke Zwitserse kaasfondue gegeten met lekkere witte wijn erbij ! Sfeervolle inrichting zowel binnen als buiten. De apfelstrudel ,schwartzwalder kirsch trifle en de winter scroppino waren ook heerlijk! Ga zo door.

Super cozy atmosphere, nice menu, little food for a lot of money. Flamkuche was tough, had to wait 40 minutes for a drink. Too few staff, which is at the expense of quality.

Very mediocre experience with lunch in this restaurant. The atmosphere is nice and the service friendly. The various flammkuchen were of very poor quality. This was made known at checkout, it was too late on our part, but 2 drinks were still taken off the bill. The 'test food' for a dinner with 5 people 2 weeks later will not be continued.

A great place with the family. Now in the winter version as if we were on a winter sports holiday! Recommended.

Ouderwets genoten van de gastvrijheid van Jean-Luc!! Onze Jean-Luc laat je lachen & genieten. Lekker gegeten en belangrijker nog waren de heerlijke wijnen. Een aanrader om een heerlijke en relaxte zondagmiddag te ervaren.

Op kerstavond met het gezin naar Kühe und Käse, het winterconcept van ‘t Vaantje. De menukaart zag er veelbelovend uit. Sommige gerechten vielen echter flink tegen; bij raclette verwacht je echt Raclette apparaat met een stuk kaas dat op je bord smelt dat je vervolgens over aardappeltjes kunt doen en heerlijk kunt opeten met vleeswaren en een groene salade. Wat we kregen voor € 21,50 (!) was een bord roseval aardappeltjes met uienringen en raclette kaas er overheen. Verder niets. Een vleeswarenschotel kon apart voor veel geld worden bijbesteld. De Fondue Savoyarde was flauw en melig, waarschijnlijk was de bloem niet goed gegaard. Wat er wel met de kop en schouders bovenuit stak was de Café Jean-Luc, die met veel verve aan tafel werd bereid, zalig! Jean/Luc en de vriendelijke bediening maken een boel goed, maar er kan qua eten zeker veel verbeterd worden.

Super cozy and delicious food with excellent service

The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice, but the flammkuchen with home-smoked salmon was greasy and the salmon was completely dried out. I left most of it behind and made the complaint known to the boss. He told his chef and again at checkout. However, nothing else was done with it and I had to pay the full price of almost €16. I know the tarte flambee from Alsace, it looks different and also tastes great. otherwise.The other dishes were decent.

Now in an Austrian atmosphere. The Kaiserschmarrn are very good, among the better ones we have eaten in Austria recently.

What a pity that I have to write this, such wonderful attentive staff and such a poor price-quality ratio. Because for 2 bare tournedos of 140 grams, one with 2 tablespoons of very salty mushroom sauce (package?) for 2 euros and one with a slice of herb butter (from a roll?) for 2 euros and one Rösti (from the deep fryer, yakkh) as much as 73 euros further. (see photo) And this detracts from the passionate Sommelier and his daughter here. Where you pay 55 euros at some restaurants for a creative, regal 4-course dinner, here the price-quality ratio really goes out of the window. Be sure to take the special after dinner drink from your sommelier, it is delicious. In short, congratulations to the service and, best kitchen, cook something that is worth your wine list and serve complete dishes (small portions of supplements, they can always ask for more) so that you know what you are ordering. We find calculating everything separately annoying and camouflages the fact that it is too expensive for what you get here.

Fantastisch gegeten! Vooraf heerlijke proeverij. Hoofdgerecht was een salade met hertenham. Sfeervolle ambiance met winters thema. Vriendelijke bediening. Geslaagde avond. Gaan zeker terug.

We had a delicious meal tonight in the 'winter edition' of the vane! Delicious snacks (rendang croquettes and flammkuchen) followed by a delicious bavette and Swiss cheese fondue! Great that you can also order cheese fondue for 1 person here. And for dessert Jean-Luc's famous coffee! Super nice service Ray, Jean-Luc and the rest! Thanks!

We were here with friends, it was nice and cozy. The service is completely okay. At the end we had a home-brewed drink. Very nice . It looks a bit like a ski hut with all the winter scenes. We have been there before, but now it is clearly much better. We will come back again 👍👍

It was very tasty and it came very quickly

Had a delicious meal with a friend. The flammkuchen was really tasty and we will definitely come back for the rendang croquettes. There is also a pleasant atmosphere and the chef often walked through the restaurant and you could tell that he enjoys what he does. Oh and the gingerbread creme brulee was absolutely fantastic!!! Unfortunately I couldn't take it with me to go ;)

On Instagram they advertise free food for children during the autumn holidays/Sundays. When you arrive with children and are told that you are not allowed to order food because the kitchen is understaffed, it gives many disappointed faces... the apple juice ordered took more than half an hour. After 3 attempts I was able to pay and start cooking at home...

They don't have things under control. No service available, waiting 1.5 hours for your drinks and a long wait to pay. Food is fine.

What bad service you get here. Lunch plates of the people in front of us were not removed from our table. Just deposited this somewhere else. We did not receive any menus, had to wait for hours for our order and heard rude treatment from other customers. This ministry does not know what the work entails. When I asked for the price of the wine, the waitress laughed at me because she didn't know it either as the price was not on the menu. All in all terrible, I will never come back here again.

Alleen al de huidige naam kuh und kase. Een deels Duitstalige kaart. Reeuwijk am see. Nee, wat een slechte naam en concept. Bij binnenkomst op het terras werd gezegd dat geen lunch meer besteld kon worden. Echter 2 stellen die na ons kwamen kregen gewoon de kaart en bestelden een lunch. Waar ze overigens buitensporig lang op moesten wachten. Deze klanten keken niet vrolijk meer. De bediening was rommelig en slecht. Wij bestelden wijn met ijsblokjes. Die kregen wij niet. Ook nadat wij er nogmaals om gevraagd hadden. Een andere tafel had koffie besteld. Zij moesten zolang wachten, dat zij vertrokken toen de koffie gebracht werd. Met de mededeling geef het maar aan iemand anders. Wij gaan weg. Echt dramatische organisatie bij de bediening op dit terras.

We often went for a cup of coffee at 't Vaantje during a round of pee, nice and casual, tables in the grass, just nice. It turns out that 't Vaantje has been taken over by the Zalm Group, which has already bought up more restaurants in Gouda and turned them into unpleasant places with unpleasant staff. Now there were far too few staff so everyone had to wait a very long time for their drinks. I got the wrong tea and when the girl went to get the right tea she didn't come back, after 10 minutes we had to ask again, after 15 minutes I had the right bag, only the water was lukewarm in the meantime... There is a mega tent placed in front of the beautiful farm and the atmosphere is completely gone. Terrible!! We won't go here again!

Wat jammer dat ik dit moet schrijven, zo’n geweldige attente staff en zo’n beroerde prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Want voor 2 tournedos van 140 gram waarvan één met 2 eetlepels erg zoute paddestoelensaus ( pakje?) en een met een plakje kruidenboter (uit een rolletje?) en één Rösti (uit de frituur, yakhh) ben je wel een 73 euro verder. En dit doet afbreuk aan de bevlogen Sommelier en zijn dochter alhier. Waar je bij sommige restaurants 55 euro betaald voor een vorstelijk 4 gangen diner vliegt hier de prijs qualiteit verhouding echt uit de bocht. En neem vooral de speciale after diner drink van uw Sommelier, die is verrukkelijk. Kortom hulde aan de bediening en keuken doe iets wat de wijnkaart waard is en serveer complete gerechten ( doe kleine bijlagen ze kunnen altijd bijvragen) zodat je weet wat je besteld, alles los is zielig en camoufleert dat het te duur is voor wat je krijgt.

Bekend met de wat mindere ervaringen die wij lazen gingen we eens kijken hoe de nieuwe (winter) stijl van het Vaantje vorm had gekregen. Hierin wordt de sfeer van een winters Oostenrijkse ski hut opgeroepen. Met echte apres ski gerechten (flamkuche, snitzels etc..) Dit pakte goed uit! Het eten voldeed volledig aan de verwachtingen en de sfeer was gemoedelijk (gemütlich). Ook liep er een sommelier rond die, verbazingwekkend, mooie wijnen vond bij onze apres ski gerechten! Het hoogtepunt was de ‘cafe Jean-Luc’ na het toetje. Een verrassende soort van Irisch coffee waar ook verschillende temperaturen in verwerkt waren. Ok, één zwaluw enzovoort, maar als dit de nieuwe weg is van het Vaantje kunnen wij alleen maar zeggen: zum Wohl!

Op een prachtige zomerzondag geluncht bij ’t Vaantje. We konden heerlijk buiten zitten op hun grote terras. Ik koos voor de Classic Club Sandwich. Het smaakte heerlijk en het was meer dan genoeg voor een lunch. Ondanks de grote drukte was de bediening erg goed en waren het allemaal sympathieke mensen. De vele slechte recente reviews herken ik totaal niet. Ik vind het een aanrader om eens naar toe te gaan.

We had to wait 50 minutes for our food. Service is very slow, steak was cooked 'rare' while my table companion ordered 'medium'. Moreover, the meat was lukewarm. Instead of a sauvignon blanc I was served a chardonnay. With every new order it took 15 minutes before the drink was served, even though it was not exactly busy and there were 5/6 people serving. My table companion asked for a pepper sauce to complement her steak. After 5 minutes the girl came to announce that the cook could not prepare it at the moment. After 5 minutes another girl came with a bowl of pepper sauce. Unfortunately, the meat had now been eaten. Price/quality not okay. Waiting staff not alert. In short: worthless!

Prachtige (pauze) plek om -in ons geval- (wederom) te lunchen. De afgelopen maand tweemaal gedaan. We waren benieuwd of ons eerste oordeel (ook maar 2 sterren) zou kunnen worden verbeterd na een tweede bezoek. De lage waardering betreft niet (de vriendelijkheid van) het personeel (hoewel tamelijk onervaren, toch wel), betreft niet de kaart, betreft niet locatie, maar de prijs-kwaliteit is simpelweg ONVOLDOENDE. Heel veel geld voor i.o.g. de lunch. Er worden borden geserveerd met het meest minimale wat je je maar kunt voorstellen. Twee kroketten met brood (goedkopere optie) overstijgt kwantitatief verreweg het meest ingewikkelde en dure broodje, wat een uiterst mager resultaat geeft op je bordje. Het broodje met tonijn is niet echt onsmakelijk, maar je kunt beter meteen de twee kroketten erachteraan bestellen.

I came here feeling thirsty and hungry. I soon smelled the BBQ and decided to eat here. A little young woman walked up to me and told me I could take a seat, which was lovely by the water. I then had to wait 5 to 10 minutes for my drink and the food arrived quickly. The food was excellent, it looked quickly made but it was also busy. Beautiful tent and super friendly staff, recommended to everyone!

Had to wait more than 45 minutes for the lunch dishes. I asked where it was, and suddenly it was there quite quickly. The pulled chicken sandwich turned out to be a small bowl with some chicken and next to it a dry sandwich that could have come straight from Albert Heijn. No garnish whatsoever and far too little for 14 euros. If you have to pay a total of 40 euros for 2 people, you can expect more than what was served. Substandard and a big fail.

On August 17 we celebrated our wedding party at Het Vaantje for 140 people, including dinner. The management was very involved in the organization during the preparations. The party was a huge success and service from the entire team was fantastic. Thank you Team Vaantje for this beautiful day. Love L@G

Geen aanrader! Met 8 vrienden hier gaan lunchen. 1,5 uur na de bestelling nog geen lunch. Nadat ik mijn koffie terug had gestuurd naar de keuken omdat deze koud was, kreeg ik een nieuwe. Wel met de verkeerde melk (havermelk i.p.v. soyamelk) en was het glas maar half gevuld. Na herhaaldelijk vragen waar ons eten bleef, kregen 6 van ons eten. De porties zijn klein. Je hebt na een broodje of salade echt nog trek. 2 personen kregen helemaal geen eten. En van de 6 personen ontbraken bij diverse gerechten brood of friet. Ook dit weer aangegeven bij de bediening, die na een kwartier nog geen terugkoppeling of actie hadden ondernomen. Wij zouden bij ditzelfde restaurant e-choppers huren (verhuur via andere partij maar dit als opstappunt). Door de enorm trage service, was de e-bike tijd al ingegaan (je zou denken dat 2,5 uur genoeg is om te lunchen). Uiteindelijk is de manager ons tegemoet gekomen door een rondje drankjes van de rekening te halen en hoefde wij niet te betalen voor de gerechten die niet uitgeserveerd waren. Ook hebben zij nog een broodje laten afbakken met tapenade voor de twee vrienden zonder eten. Toch met flinke trek richting de e-choppers, waarvan er te weinig geleverd waren. De verantwoordelijkheid daarvan lag niet bij het restaurant, maar alles tezamen leverde een grote teleurstelling op. Wij komen hier nooit meer terug. Wil jij het geduld en de flexibele houding van je vriendengroep testen, dan is dit de topplek voor jou!

5 before 5 p.m. on the terrace. A young lady immediately said that there was no room for dinner. The reason, when I asked for it, (given the emptiness) was that otherwise they could not deliver the quality 😳 that suits them. Pffff how did you come up with it. There were maybe 20 people there. Delicious vegetarian meal from the drinks menu. Ordered Sauvignon, apparently she had understood Chardonnay... 2 drinks difficult to remember... when leaving, toilet, no toilet roll and no soap. Just said. Hopefully it will be replenished immediately for the other guests. Very unfortunate about this beautiful catering industry.

On this sunny Sunday morning we ordered a cup of coffee and something tasty at this nice spot. The cheesecake was ok, but the apple pie was a wet, half-frozen tasteless bite. And then have to pay 17.95..... 😩 The waitress would 'check' the cake 😳😕

Had to wait 2 hours for our lunch this afternoon. When it finally arrived the satay turned out to be cold and raw. I tried to discuss it with the staff and indicated that I was very dissatisfied. The manager's response was very arrogant and not understanding to find a solution. This cannot be the intention while we used to enjoy coming here.

Nice place to spend some relaxed time with your better half. Service can be a bit more proactive but all in all it's nice to be there. We ve been there several times and never disappointed.

It is a beautiful location with plenty of space. The service was friendly. We had coffee and apple pie. The coffee resembled ditch water, terrible rancid taste. The apple pie was cheap factory pie. Too bad because such a special place is worth serving good stuff.

We often take a walk from our house to Het Vaantje, but this time the manager no longer allowed us to hire people and we were sent away. And that curtly and without explanation, while the terrace was half empty with many unreserved tables with plenty of room to sit. No more Vaantje for the time being.

Everything was occupied according to a young lady. Many people left their seats during our question, but she looked around and said, don't think so. Mooie stek om te eten, maar daarmee is het wel klaar. 2 uur wachten op het hoofdgerecht is echt te lang. Kinderen vonden de hamburgers niet lekker en hadden buikpijn daarna. Service was ook niet echt vriendelijk.

The staff was nowhere to be seen once you were seated at the table. The food is overpriced. I had the Pulled chicken as a starter but it was buried under a layer of gimmicks and sauce. I didn't taste any chicken. The main course took forever to arrive and there was no service to be seen on the terrace. What was visible were ladies who arrived by boat, who then loudly and anything but discreetly changed clothes in front of the restaurant. If that's your thing then this is your place. Finally, after my hunger had more than subsided, the main course arrived. The bread of the hamburger was drowned in sauce, the burger was burnt and my partner's meat was not medium but completely overcooked and also burnt. When we indicated that we were not satisfied, we were offered new food, but we did not want to risk having to wait another hour. The waiter indicated that the order had gone wrong and that she would take 2 drinks off the bill, which I think is far too meager compensation compared to what the vane charges for drinks and dishes. What used to be a nice place with delicious food is now a glorified beach bar with substandard food at the same prices as before. We won't go back!

Drinks are good, but very young staff who do not respond well to customer wishes

After previous bad experiences with the ratio of quality and service to price, I visited again, but now I have definitely dropped out. Service was very poor; table that had already been used was not cleared or wiped clean; very young staff did not know where to deliver our order and did not even respond to our call to deliver the apple pie and cappuccini that they had nowhere else to deliver; Apple ball is soft, wet and below room temperature. Price was relatively high, in any case too high compared to poor quality. So we won't go there anymore.

An omelette with 2 dry, fairly large slices of bread (in proportion to the omelette). Point. You expect some raw food or more decoration. And at the very least offer butter. The omelet was tasty, though. The ladies were very friendly and attentive. So the food requires a little more attention.

Super beautiful and nice location, delicious food in the garden. Easily accessible by bike and wonderful to cycle through the area and stop at t'vaantje for a drink or lunch. We were there for dinner, the food was surprising, tasty combinations and beautifully served. Staff was also super friendly and cheerful. She told us that it is a family affair and you feel that too. Will definitely visit more often. I am also very curious about the 'events' such as the BBQs or herring & eel.

What was supposed to be a nice evening was quite disappointing: we had to wait a very long time for our dishes (for example 45 minutes for the bread platter and 45 minutes for the starter), they forgot 1 guest for the main courses, many dishes from the menu were not available . Even though the service and kitchen clearly could not cope, they continued to bring in new guests and offer tables. In short: very poorly organised.

Very nice place, food ok quality, but they take way too many reservations. The kitchen and staff absolutely could not cope. We had to wait more than an hour twice for our dishes. Pity.

We wanted to have lunch, but if three ladies keep chatting together and you are not seen after beckoning three times, your patience drops. Finally someone comes, but he is not allowed to take an order, so she sends a colleague. When that colleague comes, she first walks to the table behind us, which was also constantly beckoning. Such a shame, a bad kitchen and sloppy service in such a beautiful place!

The drinks board included various snacks. But there was little bread/crackers to put on. For a small baguette you pay 6 euros again. It was a shame. But well intentioned.

June 9, 2024. Went here today with my girlfriend and our dogs. Since there was too much wind, we sat inside. There was plenty of room inside. Only the service was very slow today. They blamed the crowds. Okay, it was a bit busy outside, but if the servers can just chat with each other, then it's not as busy as they say. But after sitting for a while, we were finally able to order a Latte Macchiato. We both had cake of the day with whipped cream. The cake arrived before the Latte Macchiato. It's a shame because the whipped cream had already collapsed. So no good whipped cream, just from a spray can. Then we wanted to order another drink. But because no one came again, I walked to the bar. But apparently I wasn't allowed to go there, the service including the manager or whatever it was, didn't look very happy. After about 10 minutes the ordered drink finally arrived. Paying was just as difficult. That could not be done inside, but had to be done outside. I was told that angrily. You won't do that to me a second time. That angry and angry stuff. You should treat customers with respect. 2 * Because you were not customer friendly this day + the fake whipped cream and no bowl of water for our dogs.

We gingen lunchen met zijn 8 er gaat heel veel mis in de bediening en vermoedelijk te weinig personeel in de keuken. Je moet echt heel lang wachten. We hebben er spijt van dat we een toetje hadden genomen. De helft kreeg koude (waarschijnlijk uit de vriezer) en de rest kreeg niets. Na half uur gevraagd waar de rest bleef. Die was onderop de stapel verdwenen. Excuses. Na nog eens 20 minuten nog maar eens gevraagd. Op het moment dat we dachten laat alles maar zitten. Kregen we het. Geen excuses dit is echt de laatste keer dat we geweest zijn. Aan vele tafels ging het mis. Niet tegelijk bediend dus je kan beter niet wachten op de rest anders is het net zo koud als de koude appeltaart.

Delicious food in r vantje, friendly staff, beautiful location and a good chef. Unfortunately, some of the burgers were already sold out.

Just a delicious fries and a bitterballen in between. Good coffee. Beautiful area for cycling and a stop here.

The 10 of us came here for lunch last Sunday. We had to wait at least 45 minutes for a menu. Then I looked at the menu on the internet and ordered. My mother got a tiny gluten-free sandwich with 4 small pieces of eggplant and some melted cheese for €14. I got an “Asian” salad: lettuce without dressing, a few tomatoes and some pieces of chicken. I was done eating within 4-5 minutes and really not full. There was no bread or anything like that. The kids ordered a croquette with fries, but received a croquette with 2 dry slices of casino bread. Ultimately, after asking twice, we got 2 small bowls of fries. When checking the bill, 10.- was charged for this. This was eventually taken off the receipt. The staff doesn't seem to be in control of the restaurant. It was also very annoying that we had reserved and paid for 10 E-choppers on the 't Vaantje website (you have to pay the full amount immediately). However, on the day itself the weather was going to be very bad and we wanted to cancel our booking. Before booking (a few weeks ago) and last night it was confirmed by staff at 't Vaantje that if the weather is not good you can get your money back (it was a sum of 380 euros so certainly not wrong...) or move to another day . We wanted to use the first because rescheduling will be very difficult in the coming weeks/months. Before lunch, we told the staff at 't Vaantje that we had to contact the E-chopper company if we wanted to cancel. However, the company indicated that it would not refund money but only rebook… The E-chopper company made an exception for us and transferred the money back. Super attentive! All in all not a good experience with 't Vaantje. I wouldn't come back here again.

Had to wait an extremely long time for drinks and food. Order went wrong and we ended up having to pay €10 more. Food was disappointing.

Went here a while back to have a few beers. Was able to take a seat straight away and was helped quickly. Beautiful spot on the water with a relaxed atmosphere. Had a few snacks including the torpeda shrimp which were very tasty

We visited in the morning on Sunday April 5, 2024. We wanted to come for lunch, but were told that lunch was only served after 12 o'clock. We were offered cake. We then ordered three apple pies, but unfortunately these were served frozen. At checkout we raised the condition of the cakes, but no compensation was offered. For 6 euros per cake we expected more.

Had to wait a long time for the main course, meat dishes were really great but butterfish was far too little. Fish was 100 grams at most. The grilled eggplant and zucchini were less than a vegetable spoonful together. Indicated and we received a delicious bowl of mixed vegetables extra. Employees were all extremely friendly, but asking 6 times if you want something to drink is really too much. Conclusion; The food was fine, but there was not enough fish, it took way too long and you shouldn't ask in between if we wanted something to drink

Not recommended. Worst service in years. No regard for the people who bring the money. So very disappointing

Eten gemiddeld, bediening slecht. De helft van het gezelschap kreeg hoofdgerecht pas toen de anderen het ongeveer opgegeten hadden. Deel van de bijgerechten te laat op tafel. 2de ronde drank pas toen de borden leeg waren

Last year I enjoyed a delicious high tea here. After that positive experience, five of us decided to eat here. It took a long time before we could order. Then it took an hour before we got our bread platter. It was charged twice, apparently communication did not run so smoothly. After waiting two hours we still didn't have a main course. Staff was very friendly, apologized and offered us a round of the house. After 2.15 pm our food arrived, which was fine, although something was not quite right here and there. The bill was also incorrect, which was quickly corrected. All in all this was not such a positive experience. Too bad, because the location is fantastic.

After waiting 20 minutes for coffee, we left without coffee.

Excellent food, service was very slow. So let's skip dessert. Perhaps the staff still needs to be trained

Het is iedere keer toch weer verrassend hoe waanzinnig slecht de boel hier georganiseerd is. Je kunt het de bediening -allemaal goedwillend- nietkwalijknemen. Maar de uitbaters wel. Wat is er mis met fatsoenlijke training en dito zorgen dat het georganiseerd is? De keuken is echt ongelooflijk traag. Het is dat de plek mooi is…. Maar prijs / kwaliteit is echt waardeloos voor wat betreft organisatie en de kwaliteit is op zijn best matig..

I contracted the Noro Virus on Wednesday, May 1, during a visit to 't Vaantje. This is a violent virus with a lot of vomiting. The clerk subsequently indicated that the staff had also already been struck by the Noro Virus, meaning there was no capacity to serve people. We also had to wait a very long time for our food, when we left a sign was posted saying the restaurant was closed. I don't understand why a restaurant is open if this highly contagious virus is still hanging around there. Otherwise I would never have eaten there, I really don't think this is possible and I advise everyone not to eat there. The norovirus remains contagious for 3 weeks.

The place is so nice, but what a disappointment our lunch on the terrace was. The staff had absolutely no control over it. After more than an hour, 2 of us had the food (which was okay but not special) which first went to the wrong table. Another half hour later the other 2 got their food. A disappointment. By that time they closed the terrace with a sign that the place was temporarily closed. The kitchen was clearly understaffed. I won't come here again!
