Delicious food and a lovely atmosphere. We had a lovely meal on the terrace with friends, enjoying the sunshine, delicious food, and a glass of wine. It was delicious and definitely recommended. Recommended.

If you love Japanese cuisine, this is an absolute must-visit. Not your typical sushi restaurant, but a refined experience where you can peacefully share various dishes. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!

Had some really delicious sushi before my performance at FERRO. With a packed restaurant and a great atmosphere, Ferro is clearly a household name in its region.

We had to wait a very long time for food, every time we asked if we could have something to drink and we got baby snacks there.

Nice, cozy, and delicious food. A bit too much noise and the waitress who kept talking very loudly and amicably to some people. Shazam therefore does not work even though the music was nice and appropriate. One of the waiters saw that and also gave us the playlist. Nice and thoughtful. The food was delicious. And it's not a big deal that they forgot the second course for a moment

Uitgebreid gegeten en goed eten. Het was ook druk. Reserveren is wel dus wel gewenst.

Had dinner on Saturday evening. The service was great, the food was really good. Cozy tent, good atmosphere. Nothing to change for the time being.

Gewoon top! We lieten ons verrassen met 4 gangen. Eten was heerlijk. Van buikspek, tot sushi. Van ceviche tot kip in een dun deegje. De zeer jonge bediening was uitmuntend, vrolijk en gezellig. Aanrader👌

Nice restaurant and tasty food.

Today we visited Ferro, the hostess was nice and took us to a table upstairs. The atmosphere was vibrant and cozy. Our server was very friendly. The menu has been expanded with many shared dining dishes. I had the sushi with meat as a starter. It was very tasty with a light hint of wasabi. I also really liked the lobster bun. There was a tasty sauce on it. I also had the sushi with tuna, which was tasty but a bit on the spicy side. You gotta love that. As a main course I had the steak tips, which were very tasty and good. Case is nicely decorated, an asset to Berkel.

Volgens mij is Ferro het zusje van Marie maar wat een verschil! Heerlijke en mooie gerechten op de tafel om te delen. De taco met tonijn of de sushi met het buikspek. De risotto, de ossenhaas, alles was heerlijk! Goede wijnen erbij en super vriendelijke medewerkers. Een leuke avond gehad.

Birthday party celebrated in the upstairs room. Had dinner with 27 people. Communication with Anouk in advance went well. Everything done as desired. Food was delicious and the service was friendly. We only received compliments from our guests afterwards. Recommended.

The food itself was fine, but for the prices you expect more. Coat not accepted, table was not clean, decorated or set. Without showing the card, you are asked what you would like to drink. Not even halfway through the second course, we are asked if we would like to order anything after this because of the kitchen. After paying, we leave the store without being greeted. Everything can and should be a little better and more hospitable. Food is fine, but not very special or surprising.

What a great evening. The service, the hospitality, the snacks and the location. Absolutely perfect. Everything was well discussed in advance and the evening itself was fantastic. I've never received so many compliments! Can recommend it to everyone!

Update 2024 They have vegan bitterballen! ——- Delicious wine and a cozy place. I always liked coming here but unfortunately there are 0 vegan options. It's a shame that this is not taken into account.

Pleasant ambience. What was disappointing was the quantity of TWO grand desserts. Was presented on 1 saucer for four people with only two of each item available. After asking twice, it turned out to be correct.

Terrace is nice and cozy, well done, although it is not necessarily in the nicest place. Food was delicious and the service friendly and attentive. Prices are a bit high.

Delicious food, the small dishes are highly recommended to share with each other. The drinks menu, apart from the wines, is somewhat limited, but that is logical for a wine bar.

Really good food and shared dining is quite a nice concept. The point of attention is the quantities. You really want to be able to "share" and sharing disproportionate numbers with 2 people does not make sense. The price for a bottle of Amstel Radler for 8.40 euros is out of proportion! There are 2 entrances and every now and then a huge cold comes in.

It is a beautiful, atmospheric restaurant. The people at the counter are super attentive and nice. As for the menu, we tried many different dishes because they offer a menu that invites you to take many smaller dishes. We were impressed with the food and the accompanying wines were also superb. It was very tasty and pleasant to have eaten here. Ferro is now on our favorites list. Bye!

Ik begrijp heel goed dat er weinig goede beoordelingen zijn over dit restaurant! Waarom? De lokale bewoners van deze regio willen dit absoluut voor zichzelf houden. Hoe meer goede beoordelingen des te vaker grijp je waarschijnlijk mis bij het reserveren. Laat Rotterdam eens een keer links liggen of zoals wij rechts. De ambiance, de keuken en het personeel zijn in 1 woord fantastisch. Zeer aangename stoelen waar je net als wij met vrienden uit Blijswijk uren op kan zitten zonder dat je moe wordt. Shared deining is absoluut onze favoriet en het maakte niet uit wat je van de koude of warme kaart nam, het was allemaal dik in orde! Wij zaten boven en dat is wel iets rustiger om een goed gesprek met bijzondere wijn te voeren dan beneden waar het iets drukker is. Neem vooral, als je wijn lust, de pinot grigio uit Moldavië of de rosé uit Roemenië. Erg smaakvol.

The day before yesterday, a friend and I visited Ferro for the first time. We enjoyed high tea for two (a present for her birthday). The service was great! This already started during the reservation. Their site states 'please reserve 2 days in advance', but we were late in making our reservations and therefore wanted to reserve 1 day in advance. When I called them to ask if it was possible to reserve a High Tea for two for the next day around 12 o'clock, the girl on the phone was very friendly and indicated that they had room and that this should be easy. work, especially since there were only two of us. When we arrived it was quiet and we were helped immediately. The girl took our coat and we were allowed to sit at a table for four in the corner. This gave us plenty of room when all the goodies arrived on the table. The waiter explained what everything was and indicated that we could place the lid of the teapot loose on the table to indicate if we wanted new hot water or if we wanted more mint leaves/ginger/fruit slices, etc. wild ones. Handy system! The content of the High Tea corresponded to what was described on the website. There were even some extra things included, such as bacon and a glass of ice-cold water with orange (see photo; tea, water, and seasonal soup (pumpkin soup in our case) are not in the photo). We had to laugh afterwards because the waiter referred to the scones as 'a kind of sandwiches' and to the cheesecake as 'a kind of cakes'. Everything is served at the same time. We were not given the choice in advance whether we wanted goat cheese or beef carpaccio wrap rolls, but were automatically given the beef carpaccio wrap rolls. We didn't find this a problem, because we both don't like goat cheese. Except for the spinach mini quiche, we thought everything tasted very good, especially the cheesecake! You get a total of two mini quiches, both have a different taste so if you want to taste them both, you have to cut them in half. No problem, otherwise it will be way too much. We would describe ourselves as average eaters and were quite full after 2.5/3 hours of feasting (we then asked for the bill ourselves, but we would have been very welcome to enjoy the tea longer). The waiter regularly came by to ask if everything was still satisfactory. In the end it took a little longer before we got new hot water, but it was also busier in the restaurant at that time. If we had insisted/walked to the bar, we undoubtedly could have gotten it sooner, but considering we have catering experience ourselves, we didn't mind waiting a little longer. All in all, a nice restaurant with good food, friendly staff, warm, quiet, yet cozy atmosphere and chic appearance. Even the toilet, where candles are burning! There is a boudoir photo/photo of a lady in lingerie in the ladies' toilet. Beautiful photo, but something to take into account if you come here with children and feel uncomfortable about it. We would definitely visit Ferro again another time!

A really nice restaurant, shared dining is really nice and you can taste more of what is on the menu. Your taste buds are being tricked here.

Highly recommended, the food is excellent, but what pleasantly surprised me was the quality of the service. I don't often experience service that is so friendly and correct. You will be well taken care of. great night out.

Really delicious food! And shared dining is always fun. The point of attention is the quantities. You really want to be able to "share". There were 3 of us. For example, we received 2 pitas with the "gyros" and 5 "sushi". Not logical. And the door in the restaurant is not nice in the autumn/winter. There are 2 entrances. 1 with a curtain. Suggestion: close the other door when it is cold.

It was busy and a bit noisy, but that is completely understandable because there is a nice atmosphere and everyone enjoys the food, the food is really fantastic! Also very friendly and professional staff. We go here more often!

Alleen iets gedronken op een doordeweekse avond, dus kan niks zeggen over de eten. Sfeer is goed. De openingstijden zijn tot 23:00 maar na tienen wordt je al gezegd dat het de laatste ronde is en kwart over 10 krijg je de rekening als teken: tijd om te gaan.

Wegens een jubileum hier wezen eten. Vond de kaart aan de kleine kant, maar wat we voorgeschoteld kregen was heerlijk!!! Wat ik wel mis in dit restaurant en wat misschien de perfecte aanvulling zou zijn is een uitgebreide wijnkaart en iemand die mij precies kan vertellen welke wijn ze bij welk gerecht aanraden. Hangt een gezellige sfeer en goede bediening!!!

Leuke wijnbar in hartje Berkel. Heerlijk eten! Wij hebben shared dining gedaan om veel gerechten te proberen. Carpaccio buikspek beef tataki tuna taco burger gyoza’s kip. Het was allemaal lekker. Heerlijk terras maar ook binnen erg gezellig.

Er was niet veel te kiezen qua gerechten. Er was geen sushi en kleine hapjes kon ook niet

Toffe wijnbar, goede wijnen, lekker eten en goede service. Wat wil je nou nog meer? Binnen is de sfeer goed, maar buiten is het vanwege de locatie en met name waar je op uit kijkt iets minder. Goed...dat maakt in feite ook niet uit als je met goed gezelschap bent, maar als je om je heen kijkt dan merk je het wel. Dit zou me er overigens niet van weerhouden om er vaker naartoe te gaan ;-)

Leuke bijzondere gerechten om te delen.

Aus der Speisekarte stellt man sich sein aus mehreren Komponenten bestehendes Gericht selbst zusammen. Alles wird frisch und optisch ansprechend von freundlichem Personal serviert. Dieses Verfahren ist gut geeignet, um mit Freunden oder Familie die Teller kreisen zu lassen, damit jeder auch etwas anderes als das selbst Bestellte probieren kann. Das Lokal ist rustikal (gehobene Klasse) eingerichtet, und es gibt diverse Überraschungen bezüglich der Einrichtung. Ein Besuch dort ist durchaus empfehlenswert !

Het eten was voortreffelijk; we waren met 9 personen en hadden een shared diner van 3 gangen. Een minpuntje is, dat je bij de nodige flessen wijn niet gewoon een karaf water kan krijgen. En, door de drukte en harde muziek was het wel erg lawaaierig.

Heerlijk gegeten met zijn vieren. Alles was perfect klaargemaakt en wachttijden vielen enorm mee voor een vrijdagavond. Er waren enkele kleine verbeterpuntjes: De drankjes werden niet allen tegelijkertijd gebracht. Op zich begrijpelijk omdat bijv. cocktails van beneden moeten komen, maar wij hadden ook kunnen wachten tot alles klaar was zodat we samen konden proosten. FERRO hanteert als concept 'shared dining', wat echt prachtig en gezellig is. Wel moeten wij toegeven dat we graag wat eerder de kaart hadden ontvangen, zodat wij hier alvast rustig in konden oriënteren. Wij kregen de kaart na de (laatste) drankjes, wat onze tijd om rustig te kijken beperkte. Het eten smaakte geweldig. Wij moesten even wennen aan het 'shared dining', maar toen de gerechten eenmaal op tafel stonden hebben wij zeker genoten. Al met al is het wel aan de prijzige kant als je meerdere kleine gerechten besteld, maar als je met supplementen combineerd kan het zeker heel erg meevallen. De ambiance was echt top en het personeel uiterst vriendelijk. Locatie is heel mooi. Verder is er prima variatie qua gerechten. Wij hebben genoten en zullen zeker terugkomen!

Ik had hier laatst een feest en jeetje alles was goed georganiseerd zeg, gaaf!❤️
