Restaurant Woodz in Wijk 12 Venlo-Zuid

We waited 10 minutes to get a menu. Nobody came, so we went inside and got one ourselves. Then we waited another 10 minutes to order, but nobody came, so we left. It wasn’t exactly prime time either—there were only five tables occupied. It’s a pity that this restaurant isn’t really being taken care of, as the location is really nice.

Check the prices on the menu first. Prices are really ridiculous. 13 euros for a tomato soup, etc. 30 euros for a chicken leg with some vegetables and fries.

I stayed in a hotel room, it was very good, my dog ​​was allowed to come along too and there were bins for water and kibble, the swimming pool is lovely and the sauna is lovely

Not all the drinks on the menu are available. The fries are great, and so is the meat. The shrimp and the sauce aren't good. The appetizer was excellent.

I sent an email to refill my water during an ultra-marathon that I had mapped out myself. I received an immediate reply saying it was no problem, wishing me good luck, and on the day itself, I received super friendly assistance! All in all, the service is top-notch!

A bottle of still water €7.50??? Come on! The red wine came from outside or from the refrigerator... I don't think that's the way it's supposed to be for red wine. I assume the waiter can sense how cold the bottle is... We ordered white wine but unfortunately didn't receive it, so the main course went without a drink... It's a shame...

During our stay at the hotel we had a delicious breakfast at Woodz, a very nice restaurant and nice people.

A surprisingly delicious experience at Woodz in the Bilderberg De Bovenste Molen hotel. The carpaccio with kimchi was a real discovery – I'd never tasted such a combination before, and it was truly delicious. The service was very friendly and attentive. We were seated at a table overlooking the small lake, which made the atmosphere even more pleasant. A very successful and delicious evening!

I don't know how this amazing restaurant doesn't have a 5.0 rating... Everything is fantastic—the food, the staff, the location. If you're looking for delicious, beautifully presented dishes accompanied by excellent wine and a lush forest setting, with birdsong in the background, you couldn't do better. The staff at this charming restaurant are incredibly friendly. A solid 5 stars!

The menu was unexpectedly interesting for such a rather traditional hotel. And we were not disappointed: excellent food, beautifully presented, and perfectly seasoned… We highly recommend this restaurant, thank you!

Service was very mediocre. When I asked which red wines were available by the glass, I was told "a whole lot," but the wine list that was brought out listed exactly two. After a while, I was finally allowed to order. The drinks were placed very carelessly, and I had to pour my own water. The food was ice cold in the middle and was returned. At least I wasn't charged for it. In my opinion, the restaurant falls far short of its standards. At this price level, I'm used to much better.

A big disappointment. Wanted to have a nice lunch here with my family. Was really looking forward to it. You are not even welcomed. We are told to take a table of our choice. We did that while 5 minutes later we asked to take another table because these are only for dinner. Next comes my salad (Brie, roasted nuts, honey and grapes) where the cook simply forgot the nuts. If you can't even add 4 ingredients to a salad, you don't belong in the kitchen. Indicated both to the waiter and when paying. In the end I didn't have to pay for my glass of wine. What a mockery, once but never again!

Great plase to rest and enjoy, friendly and helpfully people. Excellent experience as guest. I will take it in in my travel plans for the future. I very thankful for the time here.

Food was fine, carparcio was very little and the price was €16, salmon as a main course was delicious but again very little. 1 potato. Piece of broccoli and some other vegetables, price € 28, ordered a portion of fries, fries were not tasty, price was € 4,-
