The service by Evelina was just above and beyond. From a warm welcome and menu introduction to extra cookies with the coffee. These small gestures can make someone’s day. And all of this with an informal touch, which just makes the interaction more human-like. Any restaurant owner would be proud to have her. The food was also excellent. Would definitely recommend!

My favorite part of my stay was our bartender, Billy. I opted to forego the evening in room with fellow travelers to enjoy a drink at the bar. It turned out to be a gathering of souls thanks to Billy. He introduced himself and others by name, got us talking with each other as if we’d been old friends. He was adept at his job, engaging in personality and welcoming to all. It turned out to be a highlight of my whole trip.

Short awnser : very worth it Long awnser : The restaurant is very fancy, you can speak with the manager (with an impecable suit) which is incredibly nice. The food is very good, wines are too. Only personal complain i would have is the service can be a bit slow for things that shouldnt really be, like for the drinks. I personally think its small communication problems but its really not that bad. (8m wait time for the drinks). Of you are able to, absolutly go to this restaurant !

The breakfast buffet is delicious, with a wide variety of bread, eggs, yogurt, fresh fruit, and so much more. The food was delicious. The night before, we had a drink at the bar. The bartender, Billy, was very friendly and welcoming. He's knowledgeable and hospitable!

Disappointing Service and Unprofessional Management Last week i had a dinner herr and was disappointed by the overall experience. The welcome was fine, but the Aperol Spritz was served in warm glasses with flat prosecco. Once seated, we waited 15 minutes before the server — who seemed to be the manager — approached. She was unprofessional, offering no apologies for the delay and failing to explain the dishes properly. The meal was also poorly paced, with one dish arriving five minutes late. The wine selection was underwhelming for an Italian restaurant. Overall, the service was lacking, and our business host was understandably frustrated.

We were really full from dinner but we wanted to get a couple glasses of wine and a cheese board. Cheeseboard was generous for the price and healthy portions of wine. What made it special is our server Marta, not only was she very pleasant and had a smile the whole night, she was attentive without being overbearing. She was pleasant and polite. Can’t wait to come back!

The prawns and the burger were absolutely fantastic, and we thoroughly enjoyed them. The ambiance was also pleasant, and our waitress was very attentive and served us excellently. Everything we had for dinner was very nice and service was very attentive. Ola was very kind and welcoming and made sure we had an enjoyable experience. On another point, prices were a bit on the high side, but at least everything was well done.

Never eaten so badly – ​​a complete disappointment! We ate there at the weekend – lured by the many positive reviews. Unfortunately, a big mistake! At first, we thought we were lucky to get a free table – in retrospect, it was clearly bad luck. The menu was small, but that wouldn't have been a problem if at least the food had been good. My dish (pasta with pesto) arrived quickly, but stone cold. I complained politely, and the plate was taken away with an apology. Less than five minutes later, it was back in front of me – hot this time, but the pasta was still cold and partly raw! The pesto tasted of nothing, a few sad crumbs of Parmesan on top – and €15 for that? Simply cheeky. My husband had a burger – two bites were okay, but after that, the meat was stringy, tough, and barely edible. Our appetite was gone. No one asked if everything was okay, and honestly, we didn't want to say anything else. The situation was similar at the neighboring tables – half-empty plates everywhere. The service was attentive and friendly, but communication was difficult – there was hardly any English skills, which really shouldn't happen in a hotel restaurant. Conclusion: We really enjoy eating out, but we've never experienced anything like this. Completely tasteless, poorly prepared, and expensive, too. Our tip: Save yourself the money and the hassle – go somewhere else!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the bar at the Courtyard Hotel in Amsterdam, and I can honestly say the service from the bar staff was outstanding. Marta and Gloria went above and beyond to make our experience special. From the moment we arrived, they greeted us with such warmth and genuine friendliness that we felt instantly at home. Both were incredibly attentive, always making sure our glasses were full and that we had everything we needed, without ever being intrusive. Their knowledge of the drinks menu was impressive, and their recommendations were spot on – they clearly take real pride in what they do. What really stood out was how personable and professional they both were. Marta and Gloria created such a fun, welcoming atmosphere that turned a simple evening at the bar into a highlight of our stay. If you’re visiting the Courtyard Hotel, I’d highly recommend stopping by the bar – and if you’re lucky enough to be looked after by Marta and Gloria, you’ll be in the best hands. We had the opportunity to eat at this restaurant on Saturday night, before going to the concert at the Ziggo Dome. Even though we arrived without a reservation and the restaurant was visibly full, Glorie still managed to get us a last minute table and gave us very good service, even if it was a bit slow. The dishes were good and tasty, good carpaccio, exquisite paccheri and rice, and an excellent tiramisu. Compliments to all the staff

P9 for concert of Suzan & Freek in Ziggo Dome at Courtyard Marriott hotel with Ristorante 51 in house. Nice combination, we thought. But what a huge disappointment! Atmosphere in itself good, typical hotel restaurant. The pasta carbonara was not at all, the pasta was hard, the sauce dried up and the taste absent which was compensated with a lot of pepper. Nasty and therefore not eaten (€ 21!!). The Ceasar salad was not a Ceasar salad. According to the bill it is called insalata dello chef. Well, he had lost his inspiration. Just watery lettuce with ditto dressing, slices of Parmesan cheese and some anchovies. For € 18 the chef had not done his best or he is a very bad chef. The burgers were good, although I had ordered full option so with all the extras that were not included. But yes, € 22 for a hamburger on a bun is not that bad (butreally). Oh yes, the wine. Red was tasty. White was meant to be sweet, but got Chardonnay Naumakos, or was it Namakos. All in all, next time we will park here again, but we will eat in a real restaurant.

Food is great, but the service is often very slow

The food was delicious, the antipasti was good, the cheeses especially tasty. The risotto was a bit flat, the hamburger tasty, good piece of meat and garnish. Handy place to eat in the shade before a concert in the Ziggo Dome or Afas Live.

Lousy service, 9 eur for a very small glass of mediocre wine, everything seems like too much to ask.

really surprising place keep going back

The pasta carbonara was really bad, it was covered in some kind of dirty water sauce and it was way too little. There was a jar of Nutella on my cheesecake that was also inedible. Also paid another 120 euros for this big joke for the two of us. Don't go here!

Don't come herte for lunch they only have a couple of items and if you don't like eggs even less. When I asked what came with the "pasta with tomato sauce" that the menu listed on it's very sparse menue the waitress said to me "nothing". I asked what no chilli, or meats or basil or mozzarella or anything to make it interesting? She said no. So after two lunches here (I was only here for the concert and it wss freezing outside) I had gone through the entire menu if you exclude the 30% of dishes with eggs which no one wants for lunchtime! One starter! The club sandwhich had 90% egg and no chicken. Service and atmosphere sucked too. The service staff acted like they didn't really want to be there and with 3 people to serve both times I was there I'm not surprised.

Decent place but nothing incredibly special, I would eat here again but wouldn’t be my first choice. The espresso martini the bartender whipped up off menu was actually the best cocktail I had.

We came to this restaurant before a concert because it was close to Afas. The staff were bubbly and very attentive throughout our dinner. As for the food itself, it was good but nothing out of the ordinary.

Nous avons réservé dans ce restaurant pour le 31 décembre avec un menu spécial du réveillon. Menu à 70€ Apéritifs de bienvenu, jamais vu la couleur, il y avait sur la table une mini bouteille de proseco de 20cl, mais pas de verre, la bouteille est chaude, et aucune explication des serveurs, donc bon, si c’est la l’apéritif de bienvenue bof . Choix entre deux entrées Deux plats et un dessert. L’entrée au butternut était bonne , avec une sauce truffe et parmesan . Magret de canard en plat, bien servi et bon. Le dessert était composé de 4 petits desserts différents, mais ils étaient vraiment pas terrible pour le coup, les 4… Sinon pour 70€ un jour de l’an ça va c’était correct. Le GROS problème c’est le service . Incroyable comment c’est mauvais . Il y a autant de serveur que de client , jamais le même à notre table, ils sont tous au fraises. Ils sont venus 3 fois avec les plats d’une autre table , 3 fois quand même 😂. Personne parle trop anglais donc très difficile de communiquer. Il faut manger de manière très expéditive, si vous comptez faire une pause entre le plat et le dessert à 21h30 le serveur refuse … Les serveurs comme les responsables sont totalement dépassé par une poignée de clients. Enfin bref ça ruine pas mal la soirée. Pas vraiment recommandable pour le coup Sinon la cuisine est bonne sans être incroyable.

Regresé en la última semana de diciembre y encontré un ambiente fantástico gracias al nuevo personal de cocina y comedor, que era muy enérgico y agradable. Gran comida, fantástica relación calidad-precio. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente a todo el mundo. La primera vez que visité para un concierto en el Ziggo Dome, pero al volver, vi un cambio excepcional. Visited in August - staff overworked and treated with disrespect by management causing an awkward vibe. Food was nice but lack of communication and stressed employees. Rather disappointing for a multibillionaire business, however, servers were great.

We started off with some bread and dip. The basket contained a mix of what seemed left overs of the breakfast buffet in the hotel. Next had the risotto with ossobuco. The meat should fall off the bone, instead it was chewy. The risotto was a bit tasteless but filling. My wife had the Ceasar salad with ansjovis, 1 to be precise we counted. Salad was tasty otherwise. Crouton tasted stale. Finally for dessert we had the tiramisu, before we could prevent it the server put some strange coffee cream on top and ruined the taste. In summary, overpriced food, an abundance of staff, mediocre food.

Leuke sfeer, echter de prijs-kwaliteit verhouding is zoek. Beiden n antipasto misto als voorgerecht genomen. Er kwam n klein plankje met n paar stukjes kaas en worst. Bizar voor de prijs van 27 euro. Benieuwd hoe de 1-persoons portie eruit ziet….Hoofdgerecht redelijk (linguine met kreeft en vongole), maar werd lauw geserveerd en mocht wat smakelijker. De pasta cacio e pepe was lekker, maar een te kleine portie. Personeel is wel erg vriendelijk.

The food menu is very restricted. They say the offer the vegan option but nothing is vefan. They promise a 30 min express lunch but we waited 30 min just to order. The service is extremely slow, they are just chilling by the door with even looking at the tables. Horrible service.

A very nice spot in the Arena neighborhood. I met with a group of friends for dinner/drink before a concert. The food was delicious, and the service was fast and friendly! Recommend-recommend!

Summary: Disappointing food. Dry chicken, inedible, few flavors, everything a bit flat. Heineken on tap is nothing special. The menu on the site was completely different than in the restaurant, it lacked choice. The birds certainly don't look as fine dining as they do in the photos on the site. Price-quality completely out of balance. Lots of staff in the kitchen, but just no quality. In short, it was very disappointing. Not what I'm used to from a Marriott after my experience in Ghent.

I ordered a 5-hour cooked chicken leg (it was described like this in English menu). What I received was a piece of chicken breast with a drumette attached, which was clearly cooked very shortly before serving. Absolutely not as advertised, lacked flavor and was very dull. My wife ordered baked salmon, it was nothing special, but ok. She also ordered a Pornstar Martini -- to be honest, waitress advised against ordering it as for some reason they did not have a bartender -- should have listened though, the drink was awful.

Para empezar la conclusión: al menos teníamos algo de comer y no teníamos hambre. El resto: el personal era amable y los baños estaban limpios. Por otro lado, la comida debería mejorarse. Las fotos en el sitio se veían bien, un poco buena comida. Lo que tenemos: un carpacchio que era comible. Una ensalada de chefs como entrada que podría haber sido media comida. El pollo estaba muy seco, casi incomible. El plato principal: pollo para mi acompañante seco, realmente incomible. Lubina, estaba bien, sólo insípido. Le faltaba condimento, no se presentó muy bien. No hay buena comida, solo un restaurante triste no creo que sea adecuado para un hotel Marriott. Visiten Gante, dueños, aprendan a cocinar allí.
