I would love to give more stars, but unfortunately, the only "good" thing was the meal. Although it was a bit meager, lacked salt (I'm not a fan of extra salt or anything, but this was really bland) and had some fat (hopefully good olive oil 😇). Everything arrived late (drinks) or was forgotten (pepper and salt... which we eventually borrowed from the table next to us). A €15 0% cocktail could be changed to another one for €10, but the old cocktail was still on the bill. Clever tactic to offer water and then put down a bottle of Spa; we were expecting tap water 😅. The tables next to us had it even worse, as half of the starter was forgotten there and the drinks only arrived with the main course after repeated asking. All in all, a bit chaotic and not the best experience. It is convenient that it is close to Afas and Ziggo, but it would be nicer if the reasonably expensive food were actually a real taste experience. The tables are also quite close together. You can hear each other's conversations perfectly 😉 Use the toilet in the hotel behind the stairs.

I recently dined at 51 Ristorante Italiano, and the experience was truly delightful. The lasagna was absolutely amazing – rich, flavourful, and perfectly baked. The tiramisu was equally excellent, with a light and creamy texture that ended the meal on a high note. A special thanks to Francesca for being super polite and friendly throughout, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Overall, I would give this restaurant a 5/5 for its outstanding food and warm service.

Two things made this v hotel amazing……Francesca and Juan, they were amazing and as a Titanium Elite member made v me feel very special……I’ve been with Marriott for over 30 years and stayed in Marriott brand 2550 nights so I genuinely know what I’m talking about…you should really value people like these b and they make the difference and represent Marriott impeccably Can’t thank them both enough Alan…..

Our hamburgers (classic & potabello) were generously topped on tasty buns. 2 downsides: * The prices were €1 higher than the online menu, sloppy. * The bottle of sparkling water offered beforehand was added to the bill; that should have been explained better. We would not have accepted it and ordered our own drinks (and paid more, but for our own choice).

Juan provided excellent service at the restaurant, especially since he speaks Spanish.

The tiramisu was delicious, a great recommendation from Francesca who was lovely to us.

We ate at the restaurant two days while staying at the hotel, and both times it was very good. I must mention and expressly thank Juan, a magnificent professional and very pleasant man, who arranged for us to eat even though the restaurant was still closed, before we left for the airport and advised us on what to order. My lasagna was wonderful.

If you want the best espresso martini in Amsterdam it’s at the courtyard Marriott 😅 but truly the best bar and Aidan was so fun and added to the overall experience!

I had carbonara, and the bacon they are using is very dry and hard to chew, it is not a standard recipe for sure, also the pasta arrived less warmer than expected and by the end they were cold and hard to chew

We visited Amsterdam for four days and stayed at the Courtyard Marriott. We were lucky enough to choose to dine at the hotel's restaurant, Ristorante 51, all three nights. The atmosphere was wonderful, and each dish was better than the last. The pasta, octopus, and Caesar salad were all excellent—100% recommended. The service from the restaurant staff was outstanding, especially from our waiter, Juan, who served us all three times. He advised us and explained every choice we made. Highly recommended. We'll be back! 🇦🇷🇭🇷

We ordered pesto clam pasta, cream cheese pasta, and octopus with tomato sauce, along with a glass of white wine and sparkling water. We found the pasta to be just average, nothing particularly delicious, and a bit disappointing! Having been to Rome before, I can honestly say that any random Italian restaurant there serves better pasta than this!

We had dinner here and it was really nice and quiet, really nice atmosphere, the attention to detail by the team is extraordinary and deserves gratitude. We were served by Paula and Juan, who not only made all our extra wishes possible but also were really informed about the different Spirits and drink options, allowing me to have them custom-make a drink for me that was an incredibly well-tasting one at that. The food itself was marvelous, only recommendation would be a bigger range of options for the cheese plate appetizer. I highly recommend the rigatoni pasta!

I had dinner at the restaurant three days ago and I have to say it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience; from start to finish, everything was spot on, and I’d particularly like to highlight the excellent service provided by our waiter, Juan, who really took our experience to the next level. I’ll definitely be back when I return to Amsterdam!

First of all, the staff was fantastic. Extremely friendly and genuinely trying to make it a pleasant experience. The food and the speed at which everything arrived, however, was another story. We ordered a burrata salad and vongole as starters. The vongole were okay. To my taste, cherry tomatoes didn't need to be mixed in, but that is personal; the piece of bread served with it was incredibly tough. The burrata salad is bland in taste and presentation. You mainly get a plate of arugula with cherry tomatoes, a few crunchy pieces of basil, and finally your burrata topped with a few flavor pearls. The flavor pearls look nice but get completely lost and are out of proportion to the size of the dish. However, the starter arrived within half an hour of ordering; the ordered drinks (beer and Spritz) arrived after the starter was already finished. As for the main course, after an hour we actively asked for it, and then we received it fifteen minutes later. For this, we had the portobello burger and pasta with eggplant, along with a supplement of burrata. The burger itself was fine, a bit salty, but tasted good and was well-topped. The fries were extremely greasy and had a somewhat peculiar aftertaste. The pasta with eggplant was disappointing. It was mainly a tomato sauce containing pasta that was barely al dente, making it tough. The pieces of eggplant could be counted on one hand. I was, however, pleased with the addition of the burrata. These dishes were also bland in their presentation. Considering what you pay versus how it is served, you expect something visually more appealing. The extremely long wait for drinks and subsequent courses didn't help, but at the same time, I understand this completely given that the staff was visibly understaffed. Of course, it wasn't pleasant for them either that guests left before they had finished their food due to a concert they still had to attend. That being said, the food did not meet expectations in terms of taste.

I visited the restaurant for breakfast during my stay at the Marriott courtyard. They have a great breakfast and the staff is very courteous. Paula was very attentive and an absolutely wonderful host.

We ate here last Saturday. The food is good, but we were rushed in a terrible way. A waiter constantly ran past our table through the restaurant, which made us very uneasy; fortunately, this stopped after we mentioned it. When we hadn't even finished our plates yet, she already wanted to clear things away. Three minutes later, they were already sliding the dessert menu under the plates, and another three minutes later, they came to ask if we had made a choice yet. We wanted to enjoy a long meal, but we left; it was a real shame.

A fantastic experience, especially thanks to Juan's attention; he was exceptionally polite and attentive, a true professional. I highly recommend this place.

The service by Evelina was just above and beyond. From a warm welcome and menu introduction to extra cookies with the coffee. These small gestures can make someone’s day. And all of this with an informal touch, which just makes the interaction more human-like. Any restaurant owner would be proud to have her. The food was also excellent. Would definitely recommend!
