Great service and a wonderful experience! I accidentally ordered a burger with bacon, and when I mentioned that I don’t eat pork due to my dietary preferences, the staff immediately apologized and prepared a completely new burger instead of simply removing the bacon. That level of care and attention really impressed me. Everyone was incredibly friendly, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious. Highly recommended!

After arriving in Amsterdam and attempting to get into some of the more highly rated restaurants with GIANT ques, we stumbled upon Verona 63. We were hungry and in a hurry, so we decided to give it a chance. I am glad we did! It had seating available outside, even though it is a busy street, with fresh air, sun, and shade. The ONLY man I saw working there (not sure if he was just a waiter or the owner) was Valentino. Quick, friendly, and polite. We ordered breakfast. I had the full Irish, my wife the Dutch. Both of our meals were fantastic! Good portions, tasty food, nothing greasy or sloppy. Each cooked exactly as we requested. Very tasty. So much so that on day two I didn't want to try it anywhere else. On the 2nd day, Valentino remembered me and provided wonderful service. I absolutely recommend this place!

It was so good I can't even describe it. We ordered one beer, but he brought two and said one was on us. The owner was a very sweet man and took great care of everything. We ordered pizza, and it was perfect. The portions were quite large; two people could easily share one pizza. You absolutely must try the mascarpone cheese. And of course, there's nothing to say about the location. Even though the owner treated us to beer, he offered Coke, Fanta, or anything else we wanted as we were leaving. He was a true gentleman. I will definitely come back again and again if I'm in the area.

The food is very average; it's not bad, but it's not great either, which is why the price is excessive. They charged us extra for ketchup and Parmesan cheese, the tax is separate, and the bill is way too long. I don't recommend it; you can find much better places for that price.

We had breakfast at Verona 63 twice. It was across the street from our hotel. The owner greeted us with a smile. Avocado toast came with eggs and bacon. So tasty and pleasing to the eye:) My husband and I shared it.

AVOID this place at all costs. We visited as a family of four. My sister and I ordered grilled chicken, and the meat had a strong, unpleasant smell immediately—it seemed clearly old or spoiled. We each took one bite and felt sick right away. It was honestly the worst food experience I’ve ever had. What’s most concerning is that even after grilling, the smell was still so bad that it’s hard to believe the kitchen didn’t notice before serving it. That raises serious concerns about food safety. Our kids had spaghetti and a burger, and after this experience, we’re genuinely worried about potential food poisoning—something no one wants to deal with while on holiday. We returned the chicken, but were still charged for it. Because we were with children, we didn’t argue and just paid and left, but the situation was very disappointing. I’ve traveled to many countries—Poland, Ireland, Canada, Thailand, Mexico, and more—and this was by far the worst food and service experience I’ve ever had.

I don't recommend it :( I ordered grilled chicken fillet, which was inedible - the meat smelled and was stale. After pointing it out, the waiter ignored it and simply added it to the bill. The avocado in the salad was sour. We could have gotten food poisoning :(

Excellent restaurant! Mr. Valentino has a wonderful personality, great service, and speaks Spanish and six other languages. The ravioli is absolutely delicious, and the music is so inviting. Everything is superb. I highly recommend it!

Keep walking! This owner provides food and drink at one price on the menu, yet the bill shows something else.. and, they are adding the taxes to the bills which I am told is illegal. Avoid. Cross the road, down a side road and go two streets back to better, reasonable places where locals go.

I’ve visited this Italian restaurant a few times for breakfast, and it has quickly become one of my favorite spots. The food is always excellent — flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. Tony, the owner, is such a warm and generous host. He made us feel very welcome and even offered us a complimentary piece of cake, which was absolutely delicious. That small gesture really shows how much he cares about his guests.
