Bad experience, had to wait for my food for halv an hour, and they forget totally that i have ordered a mojito, had to remaind them about it. The Risotto was not tasty at all, i think they are more possessed with take in the customers from outsides than the service. NB! I was not the only one who waited a long time for the food

The food was mediocre, but the service was unfortunately substandard. The waiter didn't seem to understand English, he couldn't describe the food, and didn't understand that we ordered fries with the meal. When the food was served, I asked for the fries, and then they started cooking them, so they came much later. The wine tasted like it came from an old bottle. We asked for meat without eggplant, but the waiter didn't understand. No, we will never go here again.

When you enter an Italian restaurant abroad, expectations are always high, and here the initial impact was truly special. A quick chat with the waiter, Nicola, who like me is originally from Campania, was enough to spark a great connection. The welcome and friendliness were top notch; we immediately felt at home. Moving on to the food, the experience had some excellent highlights, but also a few details that left me perplexed. We ordered a truly excellent mushroom risotto, perfectly creamy, and an impeccable fried calamari: dry, light, and decidedly crunchy. The only downside was the service of a small lapse in style: the fried calamari was served with a small bowl of cocktail sauce; a combination that honestly doesn't fit with our cuisine. During dinner, I also saw an eggplant parmigiana served at an adjacent table, and just looking at it, it seemed to me to be below par: the eye also wants its part, especially with certain iconic dishes. If I may offer a constructive piece of advice, the menu is definitely too extensive. With so many courses, it's inevitable that at peak times the final result isn't exceptional and loses quality. It would be much better to reduce the number of dishes, focusing on fewer choices but with a total and rigorous adherence to tradition. Overall, it was a great evening. The atmosphere and Nicola's friendliness are a great strength, but with a more streamlined menu, the restaurant would make a huge leap in quality. Definitely worth trying again!

We just arrived in Amsterdam and had a lunch in Ristorante Il Primo. Our waiter was very nice and attentive, we came even a little bit earlier that it was opened but he invited us in and helped with everything we asked about. We ordered baked salmon and Scallopini Parmigiana, both dishes were really delicious and cooked to perfection. Will definitely come again!

Not a pleasant experience. The owner seated us on the terrace of the neighboring restaurant (also owned by the owner), and as a result, we were forgotten by the staff. It started with the serving of the wrong drinks. For starters, we had bruschetta and focaccia, which were mediocre. After this, we had to wait at least an hour to receive the main course and had to ask for it multiple times. The gnocchi and tagliatelle were very bland. The vegan ravioli was incorrect (we asked for eggplant, but received mushrooms). We sent this back and waited 20 minutes. After that, we went inside to pay, where we were ignored as well. A waiter from the other restaurant was very helpful and really did his best for us; we appreciated this very much!

Very cozy little terrace with nice heaters! Tasty wine! The pasta was delicious too, just a bit too spicy. On top of that, you do get the chance to get lots of Parmesan for free, so that makes up for it😛

It took an incredibly long time for our food to arrive. We waited at least 45 minutes for our carelessly prepared meal. I've never eaten such bad pasta. It was a pasta amatriciana. The tomato sauce was incredibly watery and barely seasoned, and the pasta was rock hard. I'm really not that picky, but this was extremely disappointing, especially considering the price.

One of the biggest tourist scams I’ve experienced. We didn’t ask about the prices because there were no prices listed on the menu. We waited about 30 minutes just for our drinks and had to ask three times before being served. When we went to pay, we were told it was €40 for three beers and two teas. A “large” beer was apparently charged as two small beers. Absolutely terrible experience. When we asked about the price, they just said it was normal and that we should have asked in advance. Overall, a complete scam for tourists — paying €17 for a 0.5L beer is outrageous.

Our visit to this establishment was a massive disappointment. We ordered two mint teas and three beers in total (one 0.5L, and another type in both 0.3L and 0.5L sizes). We had to wait over 20 minutes just for our drinks to arrive. However, the worst part was the bill. They charged us for the large beer as if it were two small ones, making that single beer cost a staggering 19 euros. In total, we paid 40 euros for this order. Slow service, absurd prices, and very shady billing practices. I definitely do not recommend this place.

We found it by chance, and wanted to see if it's truly Italian. The staff were very friendly; we hadn't booked, but they found us a table anyway. The wait was really short; both the tagliatelle and ravioli were truly delicious and very, very plentiful. The tagliata was served a little early, but it was truly excellent. If it weren't for the fact that it's far from Italy, it would be worth stopping by again.

4 of us dined outside in their heated area. Lasagna and pizzas were excellent. Had the house red wine which was good too.
