Great food, including gluten free dishes! But the service and atmosphere were exceptional! Will definitely come back

We were a large group of people . The waiter was able to find a space for us and was patient with the children and our non English patrons. Food was delicious and served fast Gluten free options and children dishes

A very good Italian restaurant. Great, friendly service. Wishes are fulfilled. Excellent value for money. The food is of very good quality, the pizza base sags, as it should. The ingredients are very good. The homemade tiramisu is very, very good. The takeaway is also excellent. A clear recommendation.

The restaurant is nicely decorated. However, the pizzas are overpriced. Honestly, it tasted like frozen pizza... Unfortunately, the waiter wasn't able to write down the correct dishes and brought us too many. The highlight was a Coke we ordered, which tasted like water and was served in a beer glass to overcharge... Never again! Tourist trap! The waiter was quite pushy at a neighboring table, where two women were sitting. He kissed one of the women on the cheek and demanded good reviews.

A bit disappointed, was expecting better based on the reviews ! I took scalopina Gorgonzola which came with salade and French fries ! I had never seen that in Italie! The French fries tested like old oil, and salade with corn and cucumber …

It's obvious the food isn't fresh and is reheated. Plus, I asked the waiter for tap water, and he wouldn't give it to me. He charged me 6 euros for the bottle.

The pizza was delicious, but I've had better. The incredibly pushy staff is really annoying. Clearing the table and taking away plates while there are still 3 or 4 slices of pizza on them is ridiculous. They took away two almost half-sized pizzas while we were still eating.

Not the best. Carbonara spaghetti was good, but the bread they served was dry, old and hard. Asked for some butter..nope. Just olive oil but did not bring any small plate to pour. Had my wine and once done no one cares to ask if I wanted more. Just had the waitress looking and not caring. Could be much better...

The Bolognese pasta is very well done (good quantity and quality), the pizzas are delicious with a thin crust and not too greasy.

Very friendly staff, no doubt about that. The Pizza Vegetariana, however, felt more like a raw veggie platter on dough – the toppings seemed fresh from the chopping board. The mozzarella was more like a chewing gum, which doesn’t scream quality. And the tables are packed so tightly, you have to move furniture just to get off the bench.

We arrived early for dinner and enjoyed a quiet restaurant before the rush. Very kind service, food was so yummy! The carbonara was amazing, and they were able to accommodate my daughter who is a picky eater. Highly recommend!

First day in Amsterdam and best food

Funny and kind waiters, delicious food.

Today I was able to enjoy another Pizza Tartufo – and just like last year on my trip to Amsterdam, I was absolutely thrilled. This Italian restaurant has long since become my personal favorite. The Pizza Tartufo is a true highlight: The base is wonderfully crispy, the dough wonderfully flavorful – you can taste the quality and craftsmanship in every bite. The truffle flavors are finely balanced and not overpowering, simply perfectly balanced. The same goes for the fresh arugula and mushrooms. Everything is just right here – from the atmosphere to the authenticity of the dishes. If you love pizza and are looking for something special, this is the place for you. Highly recommended!

Good location, but we were in the back of the restaurant which was warm and dark. Service was quick, but quality of food and service, as well as cleanliness could have been better.

I ordered the soup of the day, which turned out to be vegetable soup, but when I started eating it, I realized it was from the package. We couldn't understand each other, and they said you have to pay in cash and can't split the bill. I don't recommend it!

We went to this restaurant based on Google reviews. Big mistake. The minestrone soup was from a packet, the spaghetti bolognese was bland. The service was abrupt. The place was noisy. They asked me to pay in cash and wouldn't accept a 5 euro bill because it looked old. Run away.

The staff is very polite and take care of their customer. Everything we ordered came fast and the food was delicious. Nice place to eat for everyone.

So many red flags from the outset, if we weren't with hungry children we would have walked out. Menu and signs everywhere stating cash preferred and you can't split the bill. Then we asked for some tap water for the children, they refused. Carbonara was with cream, say no more really! Rest of the food was basic. So many better places in Amsterdam. But I wish them luck!

Italian food in the heart of Amsterdam, top-notch gamberini with garlic and olive oil 👌👌👌👌👌 Spaghetti as olio with lots of garlic A Montepulcano to go with it! Came here based on the good reviews and were not disappointed 💪💪💪💪

Im certain this is a restaurant with italianish food. Its not an Italian restaurant. The waiter can’t understand a Latino saying “ravioli” and will look at you with a face of disgust because of it. Two stars because its edible food and it’s ready fast. It’s overpriced for an average pasta dish that I can make at home, and I’m a terrible cook.

Very tasty pizza, crispy thin crust. A small selection of equally delicious cocktails. Four sunny seats at two tables in front of the restaurant. A beautiful location; the view of the canal is currently obscured by a construction fence, but it will surely be removed soon.

Asked to pay in cash, poor quality dishes, we asked for a non-alcoholic cocktail but he served us with alcohol, he certifies the meat as halal but I find it hard to believe, the meat was of very poor quality, I asked for a pepper sauce which I received almost at the end of the meal and it was really disgusting and inedible and the final bill was obviously in cash of €144 for 4 simple dishes and 4 non-alcoholic drinks including a cocktail, otherwise just cokes! Too expensive and not good, I do not recommend it

We had a lovely evening that included diggers and drinks. The staff are lovely people that make you feel part of the family.

With a group of 15 the service was very good! Tables were already set, empty glasses were kept a close eye on and a new round of drinks never took long. When serving the main course there was some time between the dishes but otherwise fine!

The experience was fantastic! The pizza was great, the drinks were delightful (extra props for the Pornstar Martini), and Hani was an absolute treasure. The whole crew made us family. Enjoy!

I went with my girlfriend for lunch, we stopped when we read Italian restaurant and also seeing the good reviews but there was absolutely nothing Italian. I had a carbonara if you can call it that, it was just cream and ham. They should have seen the recipes before improvising dishes.

Had a delicious antipasti for the second time, really delicious and varied, delicious as an evening meal because it is really a lot and varied, highly recommended

Great food. Tasty pizza that was already pre-cut which was easy. It was quiet so we were always helped quickly. Although the restaurant suggests otherwise, the toilets are a bit less tidy (crooked toilet seats).
