Today I was able to enjoy another Pizza Tartufo – and just like last year on my trip to Amsterdam, I was absolutely thrilled. This Italian restaurant has long since become my personal favorite. The Pizza Tartufo is a true highlight: The base is wonderfully crispy, the dough wonderfully flavorful – you can taste the quality and craftsmanship in every bite. The truffle flavors are finely balanced and not overpowering, simply perfectly balanced. The same goes for the fresh arugula and mushrooms. Everything is just right here – from the atmosphere to the authenticity of the dishes. If you love pizza and are looking for something special, this is the place for you. Highly recommended!

I ordered the soup of the day, which turned out to be vegetable soup, but when I started eating it, I realized it was from the package. We couldn't understand each other, and they said you have to pay in cash and can't split the bill. I don't recommend it!

We went to this restaurant based on Google reviews. Big mistake. The minestrone soup was from a packet, the spaghetti bolognese was bland. The service was abrupt. The place was noisy. They asked me to pay in cash and wouldn't accept a 5 euro bill because it looked old. Run away.

So many red flags from the outset, if we weren't with hungry children we would have walked out. Menu and signs everywhere stating cash preferred and you can't split the bill. Then we asked for some tap water for the children, they refused. Carbonara was with cream, say no more really! Rest of the food was basic. So many better places in Amsterdam. But I wish them luck!

Im certain this is a restaurant with italianish food. Its not an Italian restaurant. The waiter can’t understand a Latino saying “ravioli” and will look at you with a face of disgust because of it. Two stars because its edible food and it’s ready fast. It’s overpriced for an average pasta dish that I can make at home, and I’m a terrible cook.

Very tasty pizza, crispy thin crust. A small selection of equally delicious cocktails. Four sunny seats at two tables in front of the restaurant. A beautiful location; the view of the canal is currently obscured by a construction fence, but it will surely be removed soon.

Asked to pay in cash, poor quality dishes, we asked for a non-alcoholic cocktail but he served us with alcohol, he certifies the meat as halal but I find it hard to believe, the meat was of very poor quality, I asked for a pepper sauce which I received almost at the end of the meal and it was really disgusting and inedible and the final bill was obviously in cash of €144 for 4 simple dishes and 4 non-alcoholic drinks including a cocktail, otherwise just cokes! Too expensive and not good, I do not recommend it

With a group of 15 the service was very good! Tables were already set, empty glasses were kept a close eye on and a new round of drinks never took long. When serving the main course there was some time between the dishes but otherwise fine!

We had a lovely evening that included diggers and drinks. The staff are lovely people that make you feel part of the family.

I went with my girlfriend for lunch, we stopped when we read Italian restaurant and also seeing the good reviews but there was absolutely nothing Italian. I had a carbonara if you can call it that, it was just cream and ham. They should have seen the recipes before improvising dishes.

Great food. Tasty pizza that was already pre-cut which was easy. It was quiet so we were always helped quickly. Although the restaurant suggests otherwise, the toilets are a bit less tidy (crooked toilet seats).

Nice pizza place😝 I honestly have nothing bad to say about this place other than it’s nothing spectacular. The salad was nice and their olives were actually delicious! Both pizzas were tasty as well but it just didn’t stand out to me. The waiter was friendly and there is plenty of seating and it’s in a great location. I just think for 20 euros I could get a better pizza elsewhere.

We had dinner here on May 3, 2025 with our bachelor party. They had very sweetly hung up some balloons. The main course was tasty, but very little. Until we got to dessert...mine was just moldy?! After I took a few bites I found out. This is really not okay! The waitress indicated that this would be taken off the bill (which subsequently did not happen) and offered a glass of water. I've been nauseous and had a stomach ache all evening. They really should have done more about this. Moldy food is not done anyway, but neither is how they deal with it! I will never eat here again 🥲
