Very nice service. We werde outside, then the wind got stronger, they offered us to sit inside even though we had a tiny dog. (in theory no dogs allowed inside) Prizes are reasonable for this location and the food is amazing in my opinion. Had the Pizza Funghi and my girlfriend had creamy chicken pasta. Both very nice. Would highly recommend.

The price-performance ratio was really not the best. The pizza carbonara was very salty and slightly spicy (from who knows where). The pasta frutti di mare wasn't anything special. The waiter seemed a bit unenthusiastic. For €50 total, including small drinks, I expected more.

The waiter tried to scam us. He insisted that the Pizza Margherita costs 18€ although it costs 12€. We had to talk to him for minutes before we got our food for the right price. He also put water on our table, making it seem like it was free although we had to pay for it later on. -> Watch out! (Tourist) scammers!

My sisters and I stopped by to have dinner for our first day in Amsterdam. Amazing experience !!!! Food was delicious and the atmosphere was amazing. Amazing wait staff. We all loved it!

We came here with high hopes but left completely disappointed by the service. We placed two orders, but they got one completely wrong. When we pointed it out, they took it back, only to bring out a totally different wrong order. After this second incorrect dish arrived, we had to confirm what we actually ordered 3 to 4 times. Instead of helping, the waitress became incredibly defensive each time, making it impossible to get a straight answer. She turned completely hostile, insisting that what she brought was correct. It was blatantly obvious that the dish was wrong and our actual order wasn’t supposed to be fried and was missing its sauce, yet she continued to gaslight us, claiming she "knows better because she has worked here a long time." We finally asked another waiter to double-check with the chef, and he came back confirming that we were right. It was clear the kitchen hadn't messed up; she had either entered the wrong order or given us the wrong food entirely, and she was clearly trying to cover up her own mistake. The original waitress didn’t even apologize. At that point, we asked to cancel the dish, paid for the one correct item, and left. This completely wasted two hours of our time. We honestly would have been fine just eating the wrong dish if they had been polite, but her hostile tone completely ruined the mood and killed our appetite. Blatantly lying to customers and being defensive instead of owning up to a mistake is completely unacceptable. Avoid if you want bad service

What a wonderful experience at this restaurant on the Kloveniersburgwal. It was exactly what we were looking for. We thoroughly enjoyed the food. The pizza with fresh arugula and a perfect ball of burrata in the middle not only looked beautiful but tasted fantastic too. The pasta was also prepared just right and very flavorful. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant and inviting. Everything was fresh and taken care of down to the last detail. We will definitely be back here again.

Regarding the food, if it's pizza, it's acceptable. The four-cheese pizza is good. As for the service, it was very bad, absolutely terrible. They didn't write down half our orders. So some of us ate at one time and others at another. The atmosphere was just okay, very hot (no air conditioning), and there was no football on during the World Cup. It really needs improvement, to be honest. The waiter seemed to be making fun of us.

I've never been to such a bad Italian restaurant in my life. It starts with a sign at the entrance advertising air conditioning and football, but when we walked in, we found neither. Everyone was sweating at the table. Next, we ordered still Nestea and they brought it sparkling. Then one of us ordered a pizza and they forgot. The pasta carbonara was a zero out of ten, besides being very expensive. The waiter was completely clueless about the weather. This restaurant is not recommended at all.

Amazing experience! The food is absolutely delicious, and the 4-cheese pizza is just exquisite. The atmosphere is incredibly comfortable and very relaxing. On top of that, the service is excellent—super friendly and extremely fast. We got our dishes in less than 10 minutes! Highly recommended.

The restaurant has a terrible atmosphere. They use excessive amounts of pepper to force us to buy drinks. They force us to pay in cash, with a lack of respect, and can't split payments, so if you're in a group, don't go there. I don't recommend it.

I usually stay away from Italian restaurants abroad, but I'd read good reviews about this one for its pizza and lasagna. The place doesn't look great from the outside, but it's nice inside. We ordered a Margherita pizza and a lasagna. The pizza dough was very good, the ingredients weren't the highest quality, but overall it was a good pizza for a foreign place. The lasagna was every bit as good as an Italian lasagna; it was really good! No weird spices; it could easily have been made in Italy (though there was too much mozzarella). The only downside was the bathroom; it was really unappealing and not very clean.

Genuinely one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had the privilege to experience. In Amsterdam, my friend and I didn’t expect amazing Italian, but we got it here. The pizza dough was perfectly cooked and the service was beyond incredible. Thank you to the staff for accommodating us so late in the night.

Four of us sat down for dinner. Before we could order, the waiter went down to the restroom and returned unable to use it because of its filthy condition. We decided to leave, and the waiter demanded payment for using the restroom. We refused and started to leave. The waiter laughed in a rude and arrogant manner. I would absolutely not recommend going to such an unpleasant place. We went to the nearby Italian restaurant Piccolo Mondo, where we enjoyed an excellent dinner and clean restrooms.

A very bad experience. The waiter was particularly unpleasant, with no politeness or smile whatsoever. But the worst part was that we noticed a discrepancy between what we were charged and what we had ordered. We were overcharged, without any explanation or apology. Unacceptable. Absolutely avoid this place.

We ordered two spaghetti bolognese, and one arrived with tomato sauce. The waiter laughed and said my palate wasn't up to par today. Disrespectful. When I paid, even though I didn't agree, he voluntarily added a tip. This restaurant is a tourist trap. Never again!

A delightful mix of incompetence and disdain. Come discover the charm of 40-minute pasta cooking, guaranteed melt-in-your-mouth texture! Focaccia prepared like a 7-hour leg of lamb, according to time-honored traditions, which practically makes you forget the hour-long wait. EVERYTHING is made fresh to order. The restrooms are always clean, rigorously cleaned at least twice a week, with a hint of local flavor. A great experience is never complete without highly skilled, hand-picked staff recruited directly from the Casa Rosso theater, just 200 meters away. Local sourcing and versatility are the watchwords in this neighborhood. Go for it!

We were quite shocked by this place, where every food item and every opportunity to make money off the customer was blatant. We ordered pasta and made the mistake of asking for Parmesan, an apparently unusual request for pasta. To our great surprise, the waitress informed us that the Parmesan would cost an extra €3, a first for me. I won't go into the pressure to buy more, but if we were thirsty, we would have had to pay €6.50 for 75 cl of water, as this is the only restaurant I know that doesn't provide free drinking water.

RUN AWAY. The restaurant was half empty, yet we waited 45 minutes for a starter to share for four people, two pizzas, and two truffle pasta dishes. After 30 minutes, we dared to ask the waitress about the arrival of our food, to which she replied, "Many of you ordered pizzas at the same time." Seriously? It's not like they have "Pizzeria" written in big letters on the storefront! Perhaps we should have ordered an Indian curry to have hoped for a faster delivery. €6.50 for a bottle of water since they don't offer tap water. I'll let you draw your own conclusions about that. €3 extra for additional Parmesan on the truffle pasta...

Food is gorgeous! We have been here twice now, once last year and again this year and cannot fault it. The lasagna is amazing, highly recommend.

A very disappointing visit! The service was poor and inattentive, and our group of 11 was ushered out of the restaurant after only 1.5 hours. There was plastic in the dessert, and the cheesecake was frozen solid. Furthermore, the waiter was very pushy.

Terrible service. We had to wait ages for the menu, and before we even received it, we were offered dessert. Appetizer cutlery was taken from the plate and then put back on the table by the waiter. The seafood spaghetti was of the lowest quality frozen product, yet it was priced like fresh. Wine glasses weren't replaced after we ordered a different wine. The bill was placed on the table without us asking, and two minutes later the waiter came back demanding payment. Unless you have absolutely no other option, I would avoid this restaurant.

We got 2 pasta one pizza and one soup everything was delicious, the place was really beautiful the service was nice!

Everything would have been fine if an extra item we didn’t order hadn’t been added to our bill — and it turned out to be the most expensive one. We were happy with both the food and the service, but having to pay an extra €23 really disappointed us.

Italian restaurant with very good food and service. The only downside was this: we asked the waiter who served us as soon as we entered if they spoke Spanish, and he started laughing and making fun of us for a while. Then another very nice waiter served us. When we finished, the first waiter asked if we wanted dessert; we said no, and he got angry. We asked for the bill, and when he brought it, he threw some candy on the table and demanded a tip. However, the food was very good, and the quality-price ratio was good; a good place to eat. Maybe he doesn't like Spaniards, I don't know.

my favourite restaurant in Amsterdam !

The staff were unbelievably rude snd impolite. When i arrived, there was sbsolutely no one in. I put my bag on the seat and went to wash hands, after i returned i sat on another table. The waiter came with an angry face saying " next time you should ask me when you want to change the table"! Hey there, you need to talk with your customer with more respect. I think it is the restaurant manager who needs to be blamed, as i noticed all other waiters were in same mood. The high rating is completely made up! Read other reviews you will find out
