No frills spot for some excellent quality seafood at an affordable price! I got the Royal Mix plate and the food was cooked perfectly! Will definitely be back.

This restaurant is so awesome, really everything there is sooooo delicious. The dishes there are indescribable from the magic and the wonderful taste. I always go with my husband and kids and they are always excited about the restaurant 🤩 and I wish I could go there with them all the time. I advise you to always start with the soup 😋

I have eaten at many fishmongers but Royalvis & Traiteur surpasses none. The staff are friendly and all have a smile all the time. I would recommend anyone who wants to eat fish to eat here.

A great place to get a fresh fish dinner! Pick what you want from the fish case, and they prepare it for you straight away. Cooked as good as any “restaurant”, although you aren’t going to find a bunch of creative preparations. Still, Had a piece of halibut and salmon, soup, salad, fries drinks for less than €30. Wirth speaking from a world, travelers perspective and amazing price for a fresh dinner. Worth the short train trip out of downtown Amsterdam.

This is not a fancy fish restaurant, but a caterer with a restaurant component. Folksy in character, but the food is really great. Two delicious grilled (not fried) gourmet dishes with fries, salad and ravigotte sauce for €14.30 Price/quality is unprecedented. You'll pay twice as much in another restaurant. Anytime we have the chance to go to Amsterdam North eating at this place is a must. Last time I went ( a week ago after long time) I have to admit the communication was not as I was used to. I asked several times for a specific fish but this wasn't done. I had to kindly re ask and I was told i didn't order that fish at all.... Well this can happen, mostly if someone is busy with the phone instead of listening. But overall it remains a good experience.

As always, a delicious meal. The concept is well organized, you order what you want and then everything is freshly prepared while you wait at your table or wait to take away. You pay when you have finished eating, you can get your own drinks or sauces. And I can recommend that you drink a nice mint tea to finish. There is also plenty to choose from for the children, and if they are not used to eating, there are always fries 😁. And finally, the prices are very reasonable, so it is all very good value for money.

Ended up here through an acquaintance. Have a fish dish baked at home. I've been helped very well. We waited for our order while enjoying a drink. It took about fifteen minutes. Well packed, leak-free and still nice and warm. The fish was well fried, very tasty, but a bit bland in taste, missing some herbs and salt (certainly not meant negatively). Next time we will come and eat on site because they have enough space for this. Definitely recommended for fishing enthusiasts

Fishmonger where you can sit in the room or outside to enjoy a plate of raw vegetables and fries with the fish of your choice (sea bream, salmon, etc.). I chose the salmon, I was treated to two steaks of very fresh salmon and well cooked as I had requested. The waiter is very nice and even kindly agreed to make plain rice on request for my friend who was sick. Small downside on the credits which deserve to be a little better seasoned because it was a little bland. If I have the opportunity I will go back with pleasure!

We went there by recommendation from outside, we said oula... In fact it's a fishmonger and you can choose your fish and eat fresh dishes prepared on the spot. The plate is €14.50 which is really worth it because it's a big plate, it's a little cold but hey it's a fishmonger so normal. The only downside was that while we were eating, someone started wanting to clean the floors with water and bleach. The smell was unbearable. We had to leave in a hurry, it was taking us by the throat. Fortunately, we had finished our plates.

Where do I begin. I arrived 40 minutes in advance so that I could have food on the table for iftar. In the end it never came to the table. The service was even worse. No one listened and the order was completely wrong. They had only withheld the payment prcs. Asking for 60 euros for food you never gave me? During Ramadan. Astagfirulah and then these are my own people. So I will never eat here again.

We go to this Moroccan fish restaurant in Amsterdam-Noord to eat fish once a week. Prices are very affordable. You may encounter a new fish every time you go, depending on the season; of course, there are also those that are constantly available, such as salmon. We usually choose two fish soups for 2 people and an average of 1 kilo 750 grams of mixed fish. We generally pay around 50-55€. In terms of location, it is not too far from the center. Once you cross the street from Centraal by ferry, it takes 5 minutes by bike. I definitely recommend it.

Thuis laten bezorgen. Vriendelijke man die t eten kwam brengen. Eten was heerlijk en goed op temperatuur. Voor ons was t de eerste keer. Maar jullie hebben er een klant bij. Echt top!!

Geweldige vis schotel gegeten, samen met mijn zoontje. Het is er druk maar dat zegt ook duidelijk dat men er heerlijk kan eten, mensen staan letterlijk in de rij voor een tafel, dus goede doorloop. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is helemaal goed, ik ga er zeker weer terug, prima zaak!

Went there twice in a month ; first time wasn’t great experience and it took like 30 mins to get the food , no much service there , just cheap price and tasty food ( mostly are frozen seafood but they do know how to cook ) Went again the second during the week , less busier so got served quicker , I’d definitely recommend this place for seafood with cheap price !

Kwalitatief goed eten. Alleen jammer dat jullie geen kinder menu hebben. De thee vond ik zelf ook wat minder. Voor de rest is het een leuke restaurant met genoeg ruimte en goed eten. Qua parkeren is het handig als de markt gesloten is. Dan kan je makkelijk voor de deur parkeren.

This is my favorite restaurant in Amsterdam, maybe the Netherlands. Not just tastewise , but also price quality wise….both are unmatched. It seems a hidden gem in north amsterdam, but it’s always packed with locals. Even though it’s a moraccan fish restaurant, the customers are quite multicultural. It’s quite unique how you order. In display there are all sorts of fresh fish. You order by pointing to the fish and amount you want. These are either fried or grilled a la plancha. Your order will be delivered beautifully presented on these huge platters. Basically the price is calculated per kg based on what you ordered. Tuna or salmon makes the price go higher. But we normally choose a combination of shrimp, sepia(must try), seawolf(must try), small sole fish…at 20/22€ per kg. With kids we get fried fish like calamari, fish fries etc. For perfect complement startoff withtheir tremendous fish soup with a side of morrocan bread. For sides I love there tomato based dipsaus along with their great yellow rice and maybe a salad. Drinks and other sauces you pick yourself from the fridge, but I suggest some hot sweet tea instead. Even with all this we usually end south of 25€ per person. For fresh seafood of this quality an amazing price. This place is great for shared dining with family.
