very insufficient quantity for the price... to be avoided, French friends

I usually order and everything is great, but this time I ordered two carnitas bowls and nachos to go. The nachos were fine, but both carnitas bowls were really disappointing — they only had rice and meat. There was no cheese, no salsa, no pico de gallo, nothing else. It was a big letdown, especially because I was really looking forward to it. Please make sure orders are double-checked before they go out.

Okay I see people complaining about the temperature of the burrito. This is bull. The cold ingredients are cold (lettuce tomato) and the meat is hot. Why do so many people want warm lettuce? That's not crisp or enjoyable!!

Amazing food and super friendly staff. My favorite place to eat in the whole city Update: not so recommend on Uber eats. Ingredients are missing, ordered twice and the same problem. Ordered extra protein, no such thing. No sour cream, barely any cheese. Still a favorite in person but deliveries are quite disappointing

Two years ago I spent five months in amsterdam, and salsa shop became very important to me <3 Well, today I was finally able to come visit amsterdam and of course on my first day I had to go visit my love... salsa shop ❤️ And omg u guys.... my burrito was absolutely perfect!!!! It was just like I remembered 😭 I had been waiting TWO years to have this burrito and it fulfilled all my expectations! Thank you salsa shop 🙏❤️

I always like salsa shop, good food, good price. But I ordered with uber and gave me rice instead of bulgur. They cannot be reached by phone or email. The number is always busy. I called another location who reached out to the manager who would call me back, but he never did I never got the food i ordered

Do not order here. It arrives cold and without the additional guacamole. Then impossible to reach by phone. Really bad. While it can be so tasty... !!! Mikel's reaction and service afterwards were AMAZING !!! Thank you so much!

My friend and I returned home with great anticipation, having unanimously decided that tacos were the only acceptable conclusion to our evening. Upon unwrapping the much-anticipated meal, however, I was met not with joy, but with sheer culinary betrayal. The tacos—once a source of delight—were this time alarmingly underwhelming. I noticed immediately that the top layer was scarcely graced with lettuce, a glaring departure from the generous portions I had come to expect. Upon further inspection, the true horror revealed itself: the tacos were practically hollow. A few lonely scraps of chicken lay inside—bland, lifeless, devoid of any seasoning whatsoever. Worse still, a mysterious white sauce had been unceremoniously slathered across the contents, raising more questions than it answered. The requested extra pico de gallo? Utterly forgotten. As if the disappointment wasn’t comprehensive enough, every element of the taco experience was a letdown. By contrast, the burrito—crafted lovingly by the woman—was a triumph of flavor and form! In summary: this was not a taco. This was an insult, thinly wrapped in a tortilla. Thankfully for the woman her burrito—at least someone on this evening knows how to cook! Payed €40 for this. These tacos were a crime. Arrest the chef.

Surprisingly good Mexican flavors in Amsterdam, who knew? My barbacoa beef burrito was nice and spicy, without being TOO spicy. Fillings were all fresh and flavorful. The Baby Burrito size was more than enough for an adult; I can't imagine how impressively large the regular burrito would be!

Great value, delicious food, and Latin classics. We ate everything, and if we could, we'd go back! The staff was very friendly, thanks to Felipe, who took great care of us ☺️

The coldest burrito I ever experienced, even after two times asking to heat it. I seriously doubt the quality of the product. No reaction of the owner after been requested to send an e-mail. No love for customers nor food.

Love the place. I love the chipotle chain and stumbled upon this one, find this better than chipotle. My little one loves the tasting menu which was just under 2 euros so value for money too. If you are on the go, you can tasty Mexican food real quick at reasonable price. Finally the staff was excellent 👍🏼

We went there with a group of 8 persons. The staff was totaly overwhelmed and wasnt able to fulfill the orders. People who came after us got their Food direktly and then they ran out of food. We asked for a refund and they told us it was done but we Never recieved our money.

Burritos are good but service in this particular store was disappointing: no guacamole that I paid extra for, no sour cream in both burritos we ordered. Despite the place being completely empty, we were waiting for our order for 20-25 min. Workers were just loudly laughing around with the kitchen all the time. They open doors, eat, use their phones in the same gloves they cook.
