WAITERS ARE RUDE!!! Food is good

The food was tasty but the portion was very small in relation to the price. Staff was friendly, but could smile more.

I am a solo traveler and wanted to have dinner at an Italian restaurant like I did the day before. This was the closest Italian restaurant to me and it looked chic so I wanted to give it a try. I was back from a canal tour and needed to go to the restroom too. It usually takes me around five minutes to decide on what to order so I wanted to use the restroom first and went downstairs for it. When I entered the waiter suddenly opened the door(I realized he had followed me there) and he asked me in a rude tone, “Who are you?” I told him I’m a customer, and then he said I needed to order first. I said okay and explained that I just wanted to use the restroom before ordering. He then took me upstairs. I confronted him about how he made me feel bad and uncomfortable. He told me I was alone, then showed me the door and said I could leave. I left the restaurant. I’ve been to several restaurants, but this was the worst treatment I’ve ever experienced. If he had told me that it’s the restaurant’s policy to order first, I would’ve respected it, apologized, and placed an order. But instead, he humiliated me in front of everyone as if I was some kind of thief. I was wearing a cotton button-up shirt and fabric pants, holding an iPhone 15 Pro, with an Apple Watch and jewelry on my wrist, so I didn’t look like someone who couldn’t afford dinner there. He was just rude throughout the whole process. I would never expect such an attitude from a waiter at a chic Italian restaurant.

The food had No seasoning and we had to find the menu cart ourselves. And after all this we ask to get a new dish because the pasta wasn’t even cooked properly. Rude staff never smiling

I can give this restaurant 4.67☆ and here's what happens: This restaurant offers delicious pizza for a (relatively) small price. The shop is very cozy and the staff is friendly and happy to receive tips. Unfortunately, a friend of mine was served the pizza with a very dark base, but this defect could not be noticed in any of the remaining 5 pizzas. However, since the trend is positive, there are still 5 stars on Google Maps.

Delicious food, very friendly service. Fast service, friendly also to the children. Kitchen looked fresh and neat. Location convenient close to Central station. 👌👌

The food is totally overpriced. The service is terrible. The waitress was not polite at all, borderline rude. They refused to gave me a cup of tap water even though we spent more than 70 euros in total. If you are looking for mediocre food and terrible service come here.

Even though the place was empty, they brought a steak and a sausage in 25 minutes. Yes, think carefully before you come again.

First of all, the waiter is stressful, he doesn't even give us time to choose what we want to eat, then, they charge you €20 for a plate of carbonara pasta that you can and make at home and he doesn't There is not even an egg even though it is the basis of Italian food, and the portions are very small. Then they charge us €5 for 4 slices of bread even though we had just asked for a basket of bread, and they charge us €7 for a 1L bottle of water even though we found it for 99 cents in a supermarket just next to Then we are charged €7 for a “large” glass of apple juice when the bottle is worth twice as much. Finally, the hygiene in the toilets is really not that much, in short, 78€ for 3 for 2 dishes of pasta and a pizza, 1 glass of apple juice and 2 cokes, basically, a tourist trap to avoid .

Sadly, not impressed. Food was ok, nothing special. Service was abysmal. While there, a waiter and another guest bumped into one another resulting in one of our group being covered from head to toe in red wine. Never seen the like! Two more of the party were caught with the wine spray on their clothes. Accidents can happen, however it was the manner it was dealt with was awful. A few quick apologies and then we were left to our own devices to try and clean ourselves up. And we still had to pay full price. No type of recompense offered. I think we were too shocked to argue. NEVER AGAIN!

The deplorable reception. The waiter took the order wrong and is not happy! Avoid salmon lasagna as it is bad and served cold. Exorbitant price for what we eat

The steaks were good and cooked as requested - but also very expensive. The fries were okay, but rather bad by Dutch standards. Service okay, ambience nice. The toilets disgusting! We wouldn't come back for the price and were a bit disappointed after the visit.

Seems overpriced for what you get. We thought the food was OK, but essentially average. The minestrone soup tasted good but wasn't worth 9.95 EUR. I think you're paying a premium for the location. Was disappointed to see a request for a tip when the bill came. We've been in the Netherlands for two weeks, and this is the first tip request we've seen. Cannot recommend this place...we would try other restaurants first.

delicious freshly made pizza. great spaghetti and pasta. unfortunately no kids size pasta, we had to pay the full prize. but was definitely worth it.

I‘m gonna make it short and simple. It’s an overpriced tourist trap, food will be mediocre at best, but definitely expensive. Don’t make an effort to come here, it’s not worth it.

Over priced! 0.5l Coca Cola is 7.75€. Nothing is Italian. Total was 80€ for 4 persons and they dared to ask for tip twice. Even a real Italian person came to laugh at the place. I DO NOT RECOMMEND! Much better and cheaper real Italians places near by with actual customer.

Starters never arrived, steak came wrong, staff were insulting and rude, staff threatened us with the police when we said we was unhappy, staff ignored us. This restaurant is horrendous and shouted even have customers to serve. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

Die Nudeln waren überkocht, die Sauce kalt, Garnelen haben geschmeckt wie aus der Dose. Die Böden der Pizzas waren allesamt komplett verbrannt, schwarz gebrannt. Dafür war der Service sehr nett.

The pasta was uneatable and looked very bad, was uncooked and too salty , the pizza lacked of flavor but was crunchy, the place looks great and they tried to help us by changing dished but the food still tasted bad

Skuffende.. det må være den korte beskrivelse. Selve lokalerne var fine nok, og manden der lokkede os ind for at spise var også imødekommende nok. Men ham den sure der rendte rundt og tog imod ordre, han burde i den grad lære at smile noget mere, og så kunne han samtidig arbejde på at være imødekommende. Hende den anden tjener, hun burde i den grad lære at løfte fødderne - at høre en der slæber sine fødder for hvert eneste skridt hun tager, er virkelig trættende. Lokalerne var ca. 1/3 fyldt med gæster, men ventetiden var enormt lang - hvilket man kan undres over, når ordren var bøffer stegt “rare” med pommesfrites. Det er ikke lige frem en ordre der tager lang tid at lave. Dernæst, så da jeg har tømt min store sodavand grundet den lange ventetid, beder jeg om en ny - hvortil ham der fik os ind i først omgang, antager jeg vil have en ny øl - hvortil jeg måtte korrigere ham og sige “cola”. Kæresten havde bestilt en bøf på 200gr, men fik en på 300gr, en fejl vi først opdagede da vi havde forladt restauranten - dette forklare også hvorfor vores bøffer var lige store, vi antog at det skyldtes vi havde bestilt forskellige slags - men vi tog fejl. Kvaliteten af maden var middel, prisen var i overkanten, og servicen var rodet. De kunne i den grad have gavn af, at udarbejde en plan for hvordan man håndtere kunder, og undgår at fremstå så uorganiserede som de gjorde.

An sich Personal einigermaßen freundlich, jedoch nicht auf Zack und sehr unaufmerksam. Das Essen war lecker und in Ordnung, leider gab es kein Brot und des Weiteren auf Nachfrage keinen Parmesan zu den Nudeln, da dieser anscheinend aus war (in einer Stadt, an der sich an jeder zweiten Ecke ein Käseladen versteckt? Mhmmm, schwierig). Obwohl wir zuvor lange warten musste um unser Essen zu bestellen, wurden unsere Teller (auch wenn noch nicht alle fertig waren) vom Tisch bereits abgeräumt und gleich darauf unaufgefordert, plötzlich sehr flott, die Rechnung gebracht und nach dem Zahlungsmittel gefragt. Eine sehr unangenehme Atmosphäre! Auch das Licht in dem Restaurant war äußerst ungemütlich und kalt. Der Besuch zur Toilette hat meinen Eindruck über das Restaurant nicht unbedingt verbessert: Das Toilettenpapier war aus! Alles in allem, gut um Speisen eventuell zu bestellen und abzuholen, jedoch nicht um sich einen schönen Restaurantbesuch zu machen!

As a New Yorker from the City of New York, there are hundreds of Italian restaurants. I found the food here to be very good. Employees Presko and Anjelo made us feel welcome and provided great service.

Fairly close to the station. The service seemed quite slow and when the food arrived it was perfectly adequate but not particularly tasty. If you don't fancy looking elsewhere this place will probably do the job but I would recommend exploring a bit more given everything Amsterdam has to offer!

One waiter was rushing which creates unpleasant service. The waiter seems to skip every time he walks.
