The staff was rude and overpriced food. The waiter forced us to order food despite the menu being a little dry. He didnt let us change our decisions of leaving either. Then the food arrived late and was bad.

Unfortunately, we ordered one Coke and one Fanta in English, and therefore, without asking, we received one large Coke and one large Fanta with our meal for about €16. I've never experienced that before. I only noticed it when I saw that the other four tables around us all had regular drinks. We also received a high chair for our child that was broken at the bottom, so our child would have fallen out at any moment if we hadn't kept our child in the seat the whole time. With how much they earn from tourists there, you could buy a new high chair for €40-50. Unfortunately, the food was also not tasty, lacking salt and generally lacking in flavor. We had Bolognese and Carbonara. I would have saved myself a review, but I was very angry about this rip-off with the drinks, so it deserves a review.

Do not go near this restaurant. I ordered calamari and my partner ordered a steak, we both had baked potatoes. We waited 45 MINUTES FOR FOOD. I left my plate of calamari because it was DISGUSTING. The waiter blamed the kitchen and instead of being honest with us about waiting times, he kept telling us the food would arrive. Despite the other reviews, the food is not fresh nor tasty. What’s worse is that we had to pay the full bill of €97 for this worst food I’ve had in Amsterdam. It’s a tourist trap - skip this spot and visit ARCA next door. Much better experience.

The service was extremely poor; the appetizers were served even though we hadn't received any drinks. The main courses were served while we were still eating them. We asked if the main courses could be served a little later, but this was absolutely refused. Our appetizers were also taken away from us so we had to continue on to our main courses. The wine we had been given wasn't opened until 15 minutes later. Not recommended.

Food was ok, it was reasonable. However they ask you if you want sauce then charge you 2.95 euros for the sauce, which i think is dishonest and don't tell you its an additional charge. They give you like 2 tablespoons of sauce and charge that ridiculous price. Then had nerve to ask for a tip. Getting 1 star for the dishonesty and arrogance of place.

WAITERS ARE RUDE!!! Food is good

I am a solo traveler and wanted to have dinner at an Italian restaurant like I did the day before. This was the closest Italian restaurant to me and it looked chic so I wanted to give it a try. I was back from a canal tour and needed to go to the restroom too. It usually takes me around five minutes to decide on what to order so I wanted to use the restroom first and went downstairs for it. When I entered the waiter suddenly opened the door(I realized he had followed me there) and he asked me in a rude tone, “Who are you?” I told him I’m a customer, and then he said I needed to order first. I said okay and explained that I just wanted to use the restroom before ordering. He then took me upstairs. I confronted him about how he made me feel bad and uncomfortable. He told me I was alone, then showed me the door and said I could leave. I left the restaurant. I’ve been to several restaurants, but this was the worst treatment I’ve ever experienced. If he had told me that it’s the restaurant’s policy to order first, I would’ve respected it, apologized, and placed an order. But instead, he humiliated me in front of everyone as if I was some kind of thief. I was wearing a cotton button-up shirt and fabric pants, holding an iPhone 15 Pro, with an Apple Watch and jewelry on my wrist, so I didn’t look like someone who couldn’t afford dinner there. He was just rude throughout the whole process. I would never expect such an attitude from a waiter at a chic Italian restaurant.

The food had No seasoning and we had to find the menu cart ourselves. And after all this we ask to get a new dish because the pasta wasn’t even cooked properly. Rude staff never smiling

I can give this restaurant 4.67☆ and here's what happens: This restaurant offers delicious pizza for a (relatively) small price. The shop is very cozy and the staff is friendly and happy to receive tips. Unfortunately, a friend of mine was served the pizza with a very dark base, but this defect could not be noticed in any of the remaining 5 pizzas. However, since the trend is positive, there are still 5 stars on Google Maps.

The food is totally overpriced. The service is terrible. The waitress was not polite at all, borderline rude. They refused to gave me a cup of tap water even though we spent more than 70 euros in total. If you are looking for mediocre food and terrible service come here.

Even though the place was empty, they brought a steak and a sausage in 25 minutes. Yes, think carefully before you come again.

First of all, the waiter is stressful, he doesn't even give us time to choose what we want to eat, then, they charge you €20 for a plate of carbonara pasta that you can and make at home and he doesn't There is not even an egg even though it is the basis of Italian food, and the portions are very small. Then they charge us €5 for 4 slices of bread even though we had just asked for a basket of bread, and they charge us €7 for a 1L bottle of water even though we found it for 99 cents in a supermarket just next to Then we are charged €7 for a “large” glass of apple juice when the bottle is worth twice as much. Finally, the hygiene in the toilets is really not that much, in short, 78€ for 3 for 2 dishes of pasta and a pizza, 1 glass of apple juice and 2 cokes, basically, a tourist trap to avoid .

Sadly, not impressed. Food was ok, nothing special. Service was abysmal. While there, a waiter and another guest bumped into one another resulting in one of our group being covered from head to toe in red wine. Never seen the like! Two more of the party were caught with the wine spray on their clothes. Accidents can happen, however it was the manner it was dealt with was awful. A few quick apologies and then we were left to our own devices to try and clean ourselves up. And we still had to pay full price. No type of recompense offered. I think we were too shocked to argue. NEVER AGAIN!
