Walking around we found this cool Coffee place. Excellent service, coffee and banana bread.

A fantastic restaurant! Getting in is quite unusual; you walk through a shipping container 🤗😎. I ordered the cheese board and honestly, I was more than surprised 😍😍. A cozy atmosphere with two cats who sleep more than they bother you 🐾😻

A very cool place, though the middle table and upstairs was largely occupied by people staring at their laptops and working, so it felt like the early days of Internet Cafes all over again 😄 Lots of tasty drink choices and snacks and seating upstairs and downstairs. Also toilets upstairs. Clearly it's a place to do your work, but I enjoyed our time there.

I like to get matcha or coffee from here on the road. If I have work to do, it's usually nice to just sit inside. I think the quality of the coffee and matcha is good compared to Amsterdam as a whole.

I've been drinking coffee at this shop almost every morning for several months since I first started working in the area. The staff never offer me a loyalty card, nor do they encourage me or provide any information. Typically, when drinking tea or coffee in Europe, almost every shop offers a small pastry or biscuit to accompany the hot drink. This shop doesn't offer them, and the prices are quite higher than other shops in the area.

Nice place, but €5.15 for an average tasting flat white, and 30c to use the toilet. Kinda ridiculous

It's a great place to sit if you have to work. The staff was good, but not top-notch.

Mango matcha was so bad the worst 7 euros i have spent for a drink. They also squeeze matcha from pre-prepared bottle so it is not even fresh. The atmosphere looked nice maybe the coffees can be tried.

Tried cold brew, tastes more like water with a small drop of coffee in it, rather than a real brew you’d find eg in Wakuli. For 5,15 euro no less.

After two visits, what stood out the most were not the coffee drinks, but their wonderful chocolate-chip cookies (easily the highlight). The space itself is lovely, with a comfortable co-working vibe. Like many coffee spots, there’s no table service, though here the interaction felt a bit lacking in friendliness (hence my 3-star note on service). The beans are good, yet the coffee itself didn’t impress as much as that unforgettable cookie.

This place is popular. No wonder why most of the staff are usually grumpy and unaccommodating. As if they just finished from a rave and wanna hang out by themselves&partners. This is not cool, it's unfriendly. As a local I am looking at other options in the area.

Saw the merch from the street so went in to buy a t shirt and the two guys working there were not at all helpful. My partner sat down to wait for me while I was in line and they were watching her like a hawk because she had a little food bag (that she wasn’t opening) from another coffee shop. Then they wouldn’t help locate a size in the t shirt and were overall weird about it as if they didn’t want to make a sale. Unfortunate because the t shirt design was cool, though the vibes were not

A cool, hip place to drink coffee, cake, and relax. Self-service and fair prices.

I stopped by before going to the Rembrandt House. They had ice cream and the seats were comfortable, so I had a great rest!

The baristas serve exceptionally good coffee. The interior is a bit sparse, a missed opportunity for a place like Waterlooplein.

I ordered an iced mango matcha coconut milk latte with a cardamon bun. The matcha was VERY refreshing but for matcha enthusiasts, be aware the matcha was pre prepared in a squeeze bottle but I think it stil tasted good. The cardamon bun was very good and they had nice pastries like danish style too. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is incredible. You can sit inside or they have a lot of outdoor tables. Would return here again for sure.

Their iced latte is delicious and I would get it again. Their oat milk latte was pretty good, but nothing special compared to other places we’ve tried in the area. Lattes are also a little more pricey than what we have paid for in Amsterdam. Barista is friendly and this is the perfect place to study or do work. It is very spacious with a wide open concept. There are numerous tables both downstairs and upstairs.

Matcha from a spray bottle. Full of grains. Zero taste. For 6.50 really insanely bad

Fine coffee, amsterdam tourist prices, self service but register asks automatically for tips so until they fix that "mistake" i won't recommend.

Price-performance not appropriate. 4.15 for a rather below average cappuccino. Pastries are also bland and expensive. Toilets very dirty.

We had breakfast almost every day we spent in Amsterdam. The coffee and Macha Latte were very good, as were the pastries (especially the leek pastries), the service was friendly and the atmosphere was very calm and welcoming.

I slept in the soft reclined leather chair upstairs for 4 days straight, and no body who works here noticed or were bothered by me

I really love this café and have been to several of your locations—always a great experience. However, during a recent visit to this particular branch, the service felt noticeably off. The server came across as standoffish and slightly rude. Of course, working in retail can be difficult, and we all have tough days, but it was early morning and the tone didn’t match the warm, welcoming vibe we’ve come to appreciate—especially on such a sunny and beautiful day. Unfortunately, the coffee also wasn’t up to the usual standard. We’re still fans of your cafés, but thought it was worth sharing in case it helps improve consistency in the future.

Coffee roastery with a spacious environment and excellent batch brew.

Good cappuccino. The acidic taste of the arabica can be tasted clearly and the milk was not overpowering. The brownie and vegan chocolate chip cookie were also nice. they paired nicely with the coffee. They also organised a cupping event (rsvp required)

Paid €5.14 for a coffee in a paper cup because apparently the ‘dishwasher was broken’. Absolutely shocking that a leading coffee brand can charge full price and serve in a cheap paper cup

Very good coffee and exceptional pastries, especially the Banana Cake. Also the atmosphere is very cozy and there is plenty of space to sit and enjoy your coffee.

My friends and I go to Screaming Beans Coffee to study. Hot chocolate is my favorite drink. The waiter here is very nice. This place closes at 6pm.

Crowded and busy. Nice atmosphere. Many people use this place as their office/study space, Strong delicious cappuccinos. Friendly barista’s doing their best to handle all orders quickly. Do you have a sweet tooth? Then you have to try the orange almond bundt cake.

We have been here several times and every time the flat white had been disappointing. The fact that they put the bags already in the tea making them way too strong is also not helpful. But the final straw was the cappuccino having way too much milk making it effectively hot milk with some coffee.

The staff is unsympathetic and unhelpful. He had rude and disturbing behavior. The atmosphere is not bad, but you can choose better places instead of coming here.

Stopped here for a quick coffee and snack. No problems at all..Coffee was nice, food was good and the service was great. We we're greeted by a smile and left with a smile. We we're slightly worried that the staff may not speak English...well aint we the daft ones! All staff spoke fluent English and we're very pleasent and helpful.. Recommended to all...

Coffee is ok. Got filter for 4 euro. Vibe is missing something in general, maybe because it’s too close to the market. A lot of people working with laptops. Old lady started to fight with other guest for a seat next to window. Baristas were all nice and helpful. Toilet is on the first floor, up to staircase, not accessible by wheelchair. Need to get a coin on the counter to go there, kinda weird. I’d rather choose something else next time.

Unfortunately it's impossible to sit when having a coffee as the place has been taken over by people working on a laptop and people camping leaving stuff behind to reserve a seat while they're somewhere else making the atmosphere really unpleasant. They should really ban laptops anywhere upstairs and keep an eye on people camping. Sad.

A very nice atmosphere, where you can work on your laptop, although a bit busy. The Matcha latte was really delicious.

I feel scammed. I ordered on a coffee and paid by card. When you tap the card to the machine it obscures the screen. I was aware on screen that there were tip amount options and also a 'no tip' button but this was only slightly visible when I tapped the screen. I have no intention on leaving a tip for a take away coffee made by people doing their most basic job, no real service provided. The payment was accepted and I noticed that a tip amount had been added which was not my intention. Turns out if you don't push 'No Tip' if adds a default tip amount. I think this is outrageous, deliberately deceptive, grasping, unethical and, hopefully, illegal. If it is not illegal, it should be, and something for consumer rights organizations in the Netherlands to address.

Good coffee … but sadly I’m not a fan of the redesigned interior. Before it felt cosy and sophisticated .., the black walls made for a high quality feel… now it’s just white like every other coffee place. The staff are really nice generally and the music good so I like working from here regularly. I still miss the black walls but at least they still have the cool retro furniture Also the toilet requiring a slot of 50cents is really annoying.

Good coffee, but when I asked for a large glass of water, it was not allowed. Said arrogant barista: “large glasses are only for iced lattes.” Excuse me? Luckily I was allowed a mini glass with 1 sip.

I always receive such good help and always quickly. Always friendly and relaxed baristas plus the coffee is really good and you won't find that easily!! I come here almost every day, my favorite coffee shop.

Ordered a coffee (which was good) and an orange juice. The lady in question was acting strangely at the machine and was somewhat giggly towards her colleague. Out of the corner of my eye I saw that the machine was apparently not working and the lady emptied the container into a glass and then placed it somewhat dubiously on the counter and walked away. There was all kinds of junk in the glass and when I made a comment about it, no one said sorry. Ultimately I asked for my money back. Very weird. Coffee is delicious, but I will skip the gravy from now on 😬

Coffee is of good taste, their house blend “whisper” are very tasty beans to make at home in the piston machine. It's a pity that the card machine asks for a tip first, which disappoints me and is a bit customer unfriendly.

They make you pay a tip by default, you have to press “deny” otherwise they just steal you. Also long waiting and no smile to the customer. Quite horrible!

Nice looking busy place in the heart of Amsterdam. There was one employee behind the counter when we walked in, she was busy making previous order, didn’t greet us and shouted for other staff to help. Overall it seemed that they’re understaffed and the staff can’t handle busy periods. We got oat matcha latte, and matcha was delicious but it wasn’t whisked properly, at all. There was a lot of matcha clumps swimming around while drinking. Oat flat white tasted nice. I tried to get attention for 5 minutes to ask where can we put dirty dishes, but no one ever looked at me. I didn’t want to stand in the long queue for that, so we left. The place itself is nice and cosy, but they lack more staff and more trainings.

I went early on a weekend so it was nice and quiet. Had a nice conversation about their espresso machine which looked really cool. The espresso was excellent. Blended in perfectly with the macchiato
