Amazing experience at Selva today! It was my 3rd time coming in, and just as always, it did not disappoint. I had the pleasure of being served by Monica and Lorenzo, who were both very attentive and knowledgable. Thank you both for your great service! As far as food goes, the appetizers were amazing as per usual. The fish — likewise — super fresh with a touch of acidic notes, especially suited for the good weather. As for the steak... A special shoutout to the manager, Adam, a very humble and chill person, who made us feel very welcome, and to our hostesses for the night, Maria and Nicole, who treated us like we were at home. All in all, an amazing experience, one that I will for sure repeat many times to come!

I love Selva, it’s one of my favourite restaurants in Amsterdam! Menu has changed a bit and the lamb is back, hallelujah! The gambas were also great, but the new rice dish is good, not as good as the old dish. Overall, still amazing food! Alex served us and he did it with joy and knowledge of the dishes! He’s amazing and his knowledge in the dishes was so helpful! I will definitely request him the next time I come in. It was also my mum’s birthday and he made sure she was well celebrated!

We have been here before and the food was delicious. We celebrated our 2nd anniversary here today. Alex welcomed us kindly, congratulated us, and gave us a free dessert to celebrate. You are greeted by very gracious hostess by the door. When you enter, the vibe is light yet full of energy, and the view is spectacular! Jaime was our server that evening and he suggested appetizers that were delicious. We still talked about the Oysters the next day. Highly recommended and will be back if ever i'm in the area again! To note: the underground parking is expensive. 6.50 € per hour.

What an incredible vibe, even for just one drink, the staff is very helpful and welcoming, I’ve sat at the Bar for a cocktail and Dora took really god care of me, just asked to make whatever she felt like, I’ve received and amazing Manhattan, definitely coming back for more.

Dora and Stefano were amazing hosts and made us feel right at home with easy conversation and friendly service. The cocktails were delicious too! Each one delivered a new journey of flavours and was unique to this bar. Stefano advised us on what to order based on our personal preferences, and Dora served us a brilliant, nutty take on the classic espresso martini. 10/10 recommend 💖

Lorenzo suggested the best wines, Fiorella answered all of my questions about the food and even gave a backstory. Everything was so trilling and beautiful!! We chose the Dinner Experience with the South American wine pairing. The food was excellent and the wines were well matched to each course, with a nice explanation along the way. The service was friendly and professional throughout the evening. Special thanks to Alex for making us feel welcome and for putting in the extra effort. You can tell the team works well together. Also, bonus points for the smoking area, which has a beautiful view and is a great spot to step outside for a moment. Would happily come back.

This was the best dining experience I had in Amsterdam. I arrived hoping to try the chef's tasting menu, only to discover that it was available only for two or more people. Fortunately, that turned out not to be a problem at all, as the wonderful and attentive servers (whose names I sadly can't remember) helped me and created a personalised "tasting menu" for me. I wouldn't consider myself a foodie, but every dish I tried was excellent. The combinations of flavours and ingredients were very creative. The view of the entire city from the 24th floor surely add to the overall experience. I'm not entirely sure the restaurant fits the traditional definition of fine dining, as the atmosphere is more lively, social, and energetic than formal; but it absolutely felt like a fine dining experience to me (: One small note: the restaurant seems very popular and thus quite busy, which means it can also be somewhat noisy. As a solo diner, I didn't find this troubling.

Alex was a great waiter. The green menu was wonderful and interesting cocktail pairing. Wonderful views!

I wrote a review for this restaurant two years ago and was very impressed. Last week, we visited for the second time, and I can assure you it was extremely disappointing. The food was terrible. One steak was very chewy even though we ordered it medium rare, and the other was so salty that it was almost inedible. The service was just as bad. Whenever I needed something, I had to wait 15–30 minutes to get it. To make matters worse, the staff seemed upset because I didn’t leave a tip. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. Don’t waste your money here

We had a great dinner and drinks! The steak was excellent, cooked perfectly medium rare, just as expected. Paula was extremely attentive and happy to accommodate all of our requests and adjustments. She was also incredibly kind, friendly, and easy-going.

Friday I visited Selva for the first time and I was positively impressed from the first until the last moment there. The restaurant has a beautiful view, the place is very clean and looked after, amazing decoration and attentive staff that looks after you. A special shout out goes to our waiter Alex, who was very helpful, friendly and professional through the entire evening. I want to thank him very much for his incredible service and I hope to see him soon again!

This was the 3rd time we’ve been. The 2nd time a year ago was disappointing, but this time it was just like the 1st time again: pure enjoyment and a real treat! - the dishes have always been delicious - the atmosphere is also top-notch - the service was just like the first time again: on point, attentive, good overview, without rushing! Fiesta - price: absolutely right and well worth the price

We arrived about an hour before closing time without a reservation. The staff were kind enough to give us a table. As soon as we chose our main course for dinner, they brought us the dessert menu, since the kitchen closes afterward—which was fine, as we were running late. We ordered two cocktails. Unfortunately, they were extremely overpriced (around €17 for about 200ml). Moreover, we didn't like them at all. They were very over-mixed and quite bitter. Because of the high price, we decided to finish them anyway, although it was very difficult. The food was quite alright. The portion was large enough to be filling and looked nice. The taste was okay—not outstanding, but not bad either. The staff were always very friendly. The ambiance was beautiful!

The food is delicious and the waiters are very friendly. Fiorella gave us great recommendations on what to order. The only downside is that you can't pay in cash :( and the cocktails are very small for the price, but they're still very tasty. I'll be back.

The food is good: creative with flavours, well-balanced and very quick to the table. The Cevicé is an absolute winner. I think most dishes that I’ve had have been well prepared. Service could have been better. It was busy that evening as ADE was happening that evening, so it might be different on other nights. Pricewise it’s a bit steep for the food. If the price were a bit lower I might have recommended this to others. View is stunning though.

Amazing quality of cocktails, food and service. Anne Sofie is in the bar surprised us with each cocktail, and each was better than the other. We had amazing service from sweet Paula. An amazing christmas! We will definitely come back to enjoy the view during daylight.
