The food is good: creative with flavours, well-balanced and very quick to the table. The Cevicé is an absolute winner. I think most dishes that I’ve had have been well prepared. Service could have been better. It was busy that evening as ADE was happening that evening, so it might be different on other nights. Pricewise it’s a bit steep for the food. If the price were a bit lower I might have recommended this to others. View is stunning though.

Amazing quality of cocktails, food and service. Anne Sofie is in the bar surprised us with each cocktail, and each was better than the other. We had amazing service from sweet Paula. An amazing christmas! We will definitely come back to enjoy the view during daylight.

Selva has a very fancy and stylish atmosphere, which creates high expectations at first. Unfortunately, both the food and the cocktails were quite average and didn’t live up to the setting. The menu lacks variety, and the flavors were underwhelming overall. It looks good visually, but in terms of taste and creativity, it doesn’t go beyond mediocrity.

This was great! The view is amazing, especially during christmas time :) The food was lovely - the cheesy corn in particular was amazing, and the scallop portion was delicious too, and portion size was really good. Katrina helped us today and she was so sweet, answering questions and keeping up good vibes. Love it 💌

If you're looking for a beautiful, delicious, and centrally located restaurant, this is the place to be. I had a wonderful meal here with friends. They have an extensive menu (both drinks and food). Because we couldn't decide, our waitress, Fiorella, created a shared dining experience for us. Fiorella listened carefully to our wishes, came up with a fantastic top three dishes, and was also very friendly! I had a fantastic evening and will definitely be back!

We were extremely satisfied. The reception was very pleasant. Our service staff member was excellent, and the kitchen did a fantastic job. We were seated right next to the open kitchen and could observe everyone at work. Great team effort from the dishwasher to the head chef. Keep up the good work.

We had a wonderful dinner on the evening of Dia de los muertos! The ambiance was amazing with live music, decoration and dressed up waiters. Our table service was done by the wonderful Paula who was very nice! We enjoyed the special menu of the evening and must say it was all delicious and beautifully presented! A must go place when in Amsterdam!

I returned to the Selva restaurant for the second time, and once again the experience was truly remarkable and of exceptional quality. The cuisine is sophisticated, with ever-changing, meticulously crafted flavors, and the atmosphere is both pleasant and welcoming. And what can I say about Lorenzo, who is always perfectly kind and professional, and about the new addition, Alex, who shows the same warmth, efficiency, and attention to detail. Great restaurant with tasty food, excellent service and a mega view. The food options are rather limited (20 options max) and the portions are on the small side, but they compensate in the deliciousness department. God, they're good! I walked in at 18:30 during the week without reservation and they had a free table. After 19:00 the place started to get full, so best bet is to make a reservation near the windows.

I was very disappointed with our dinner at the hotel restaurant. The service was appalling: my colleague was served 15 minutes before me, without any apology; the waitress seemed to have simply forgotten to take my order. The scallops were overcooked, had an unpleasant smell, and the dishes cost €30 without any sides. I didn't even finish my meal, and no one asked me if everything was alright or if I enjoyed it. The result: nearly €100 for two people for a mediocre meal and nonchalant service. The setting is nice, but that's not enough to make up for such a disappointing experience. And to top it all off, my colleague found chewing gum stuck to her trousers… Unacceptable for an establishment of this caliber.

Was positively surprised. Usually I am not a big fan of hotel restaurants but this one definately deserves a recommendation. 24th floor with it's view helps for sure and it has a nice vibe but food was good too. Not perfect but good.

Selva restaurant, highly recommended! We had a delicious meal here (Chef's Menu full experience) and I recommend it to everyone who loves Mexican, Brazilian, or Peruvian food. It starts the moment you step inside. You're on the 24th floor, and the interior looks incredibly beautiful and stylishly old. You don't feel like you're in a regular restaurant. The view of Amsterdam is stunning, and the service gets a 10 out of 10! I can't find any negatives.

The food (meat) was very good, but the portions were too small, and the side dishes were unusual in their composition, and some were off-putting. Great view and interior. The staff were very friendly, but lacking in structure.

Selva at ADE sounded promising: a stylish dinner and dancing to live DJs. In reality: chaotic service, nowhere to move, and €20 for a cocktail full of regret. What a disappointment.

Bad experience. The staff who greeted us upon arrival was rude. My husband and I went there since we were staying at the hotel. We ordered a medium-rare Argentine flank steak a la carte and was served an overcooked steak. Skirt steak is my favorite cut of beef; I always order it and I'm very familiar with it. It bothers me when they try to deceive a customer by serving something different. We complained, but they just kept us waiting for the chef to come and talk to us. We don't know if he was trying to convince us that what was served was flank steak or that he thought well-done was medium. In any case, we didn't wait for him and asked for the bill.

I celebrated my birthday at Selva and it was an amazing experience. As a Colombian woman I do recognize the authentic Latin food, and this has been the best one I’ve tried in the Netherlands! This was my third time at Selva and it was amazing as usual. Great views (even from the toilets), great service by Paula and delicious food. Also, having a cocktail bar on the same floor is a plus.

Great experience at this restaurant. Very nice decor, friendly staff and very good food. The downside is the quantity of dishes. Sides have to be paid for separately from the main course. The waitress advised us to order sides to share but they are really very small in terms of quantity. In addition, we were a group of 7 people, it is only possible to split the bill in 2. In summary, very good restaurant with a great decor but don't go there if you are very hungry!
