It was our first time at this restaurant, and will certainly NOT be our last time. The food was absolutely delicious. The view is spectacular. My hubby felt so special. An absolutely wonderful experience celebrating my birthday with my best friends. From the warm welcome by the hostess to the exceptional service from our waiter Lorenzo, everything was perfect. The 4-course Chef’s Menu was outstanding, and having the Chef personally wish me a happy birthday and share a little about his culinary style made the evening truly special. Beautiful food, incredible service, and such a warm atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Great Concept, amazing view and original latin American fusion menu with cocktail and wine pairings. Service is also top notch, we were waited on by Alejo who was great and suggested a nice wine option.

Upon arriving at this "luxury" restaurant, everything seems fantastic. Service is prompt at the start. After that, it is disastrous; no one asks if the food tastes good or if anyone wants another drink. The food is okay, but definitely not top-notch. Anyway, after waiting even longer and asking for the bill, it arrived "spontaneously" after all. We had a very unsatisfactory experience. It says something about the shortcomings of this restaurant.

Just came back from a dinner @ selva. We were very warmly welcomed by the team and especially by the lovely Mónica who was our server for the night. The food was absolutely delicious eventhough it did not always arrive at the same time. Sometimes we had to wait a little to have everyones dishes on the table. Something we noticed throughout the evening were the cute, small and barely noticable interactions your team had with eachother. Coming from a Caribbean background where most restaurants are family run, it gave a beautiful sense of familiarity that is often missed in other establisments. We really appreciated this, so big compliments to your team❤️

We went for cocktails at Sonora, the bar next to Selva, and I ordered a non-alcoholic piña colada. They brought it with alcohol after I complained because no one was taking orders, and when they finally brought it, it was alcoholic. I had to send it back. Today I ordered it again, but without alcohol, please. Lacking enthusiasm or experience, they made me a cocktail that was nothing like a piña colada. We won't be going back. A terrible experience, and the bartenders seem to think they're in a nightclub and completely ignore the customers. Absurd. 👎

Beautiful restaurant with delicious dishes. We shared the Chef’s Menu and really enjoyed it. The open kitchen makes it extra fun, with incredibly friendly chefs, including Elijah. Lorenzo’s service was fantastic. Genuinely hospitable, attentive, and personal. Unfortunately, you rarely come across service like his in Amsterdam anymore. The only downside: our table was reserved for 2.5 hours, which we found just a little too short for the Chef’s Menu. Otherwise, highly recommended!

Exciting place. The food, the view, the ambiance. Who knew you could find a little bit of jungle up on the 24th floor. Normally in place like this they fully participate on the view and you go home disappointed and hungry… but luckily not here. Had the chef course which has 12 dishes and all are good (just 1 was okay). Service is okay, but waiting there is not a punishment. All in all a very nice experience

We had the most incredible meal here. I wasn’t expecting much from a restaurant in a hotel but it was really out of this world. Good Quality, and great flavours. All the staff, especially Gabriella and lorenzo, were amazing and the food suggestions were spot on. Love love loved it

Our experience was amazing. We came unarmed with knowledge of South American cousine and left a tiny bit more aware and stuffed with delicius food. We went for the chef’s menu which we can recommend if you are as indecisive as we are :) (But make sure to come in hungry) The staff was welcoming and attentive especially our waiter Jaimie.

We made a reservation for 21:00, with the booking scheduled until 23:30, so we expected to have enough time to properly enjoy dinner. Unfortunately, only 15–20 minutes into our first round, the manager came over and told us to hurry because the kitchen was closing soon. We were encouraged to order a large menu, yet then had to rush through around nine dishes in less than an hour. That completely took away from the experience, especially as it was supposed to be a birthday dinner for my friend.The staff themselves were friendly, but if there isn't enough time to serve a large menu, guests shouldn't be encouraged to order one in the first place. On top of that, I was served a dish containing coconut, despite having an allergy. I ended up being sick since we left. Unfortunately, most of the dishes lacked flavour. The bread and dessert were the exceptions, while the chimichurri was overcooked and the Jamaican water didn't taste homemade either rather as a bomb full of sugar. I genuinely wanted to leave as quickly as possible by the end of the evening, which is why I didn't even mention that we were celebrating a birthday. Overall, a very disappointing experience. I would never recommend anybody to eat here.

A place with spectacular views, very good food, and very attentive and friendly service. The only thing is that it is a bit noisy. But to go as a couple with children or in a group, it is highly recommended, the views from the 24th floor are exceptional.

The service and attention that Alex gave us was a chef's kiss-absolutely brilliant! He explained the menu, recommended which drinks went with what. He particularly made my very shy granddaughter feel comfortable. The only reason we are not returning 8s because my granddaughter is a super fussy eater.

I am rating the food. The atmosphere is fun and service is very good. The food is just ok; maybe too expensive for the portions sizes. We had the octopus and the dorade. The dishes were well-cooked even though the octopus could have been a bit softer. The concept of the dishes was clumsy: I don’t think cumin goes well with octopus as it overpowers everything else; the reduction or bechamel or whatever was served with the fish had no identifiable taste or distinction. The fish was very well cooked though. The espresso martini was very well executed.

We had a delicious tasting menu with wine pairing and enjoyed everything so much! The food was delicious, even a bit too much but that’s personal. Fiorella our waitress was lovely and very friendly and helpful so shout out to her. We highly recommend Selva, its beautiful interior and stunning views + the food is a truly great experience! Our highlights were the steak, guava butter with bread, ceviche and dessert! The only downside we found is that they work with shifts so we had to leave at 8:45 pm when starting at 6:30 pm, it would’ve been nicer to go a bit slower as the food is quite a lot.

I like the raw and starters more than the main. For deserts I would prefer brownie compared to corn cake

Amazing late night bar! Great ambiance, fun vibe and the cocktails are carefully crafted and delicious. Their selection of spirits is very expansive and the bartenders are on point. Mac made us delicious cocktails and provided exceptional service!!! 12/10 recommend!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - 5/5 stars - Selva Went here for my birthday with my friend and my girlfriend. The food here is high-quality! The dishes they serve are multi-layered and often have a unique taste. We ordered: - Aguacate grillado (similar to tortilla chips with guac) 8/10 - Pan de bono with an exotic sauce 7.5/10 - Picanha with pineapple chimichurri 8/10 - Miso cabbage 10/10 - Papas a la huancaina 7/10 Everything tasted pretty good, but the miso cabbage is the highlight here for me and my friends. Interior is a bit funky. Very unique, you wont find this very fast in other places in Amsterdam. Service is really good! The server is really patient and knowledgeable about the menu. The USP is definitely the view, it is incredibly beautiful!!! I would recommend this mostly for the view, great vibe and cabbage 😄

Today was my first time at Selva. I’ve known about the place for a long time, but my sister made a reservation for us for my bachelorette dinner, and it was absolutely amazing! Everything was organised perfectly, with attention to every detail. The food was absolutely stunning, and the service was exceptional. Our server, Jaime, took amazing care of us, especially with my gluten allergy, and he even surprised me at the end with a beautiful dessert to celebrate my special occasion. Thank you!!!!!!!! A true 10/10 experience! I highly recommend Selva and want to compliment the entire team for their amazing work. Please keep it up!

As a Brazilian, it’s not easy to find food in Amsterdam that truly feels close to home. There are a few Latin American restaurants, but none had quite delivered the flavors I was looking for until I found Selva. “Selva” means “jungle” in Portuguese, and the name suits the restaurant perfectly. The space has a lush, vibrant atmosphere that feels warm, welcoming, and full of life. It instantly gave me a sense of comfort and reminded me of home. Although Selva isn’t a Brazilian restaurant, it celebrates Latin American cuisine beautifully. The menu includes dishes that are very familiar to many Brazilians, including an excellent picanha and other regional specialties. What impressed me the most was the food and the service. I’ve visited more than once, both ordering à la carte and trying the 10 course tasting menu. Every experience has been exceptional. The tasting menu is designed to be shared, and every single course was delicious. We genuinely couldn’t think of one dish that we didn’t love. Yes, it’s expensive, but it is absolutely worth it. The staff deserves a special mention. Everyone was genuinely warm, attentive, and welcoming. That level of hospitality can be surprisingly hard to find, and it made the experience feel even more special. We also chose the cocktail pairing, and it made the experience even better. Each drink complemented the dishes perfectly and showed the same level of creativity and attention to detail as the food. Selva is easily one of my favorite restaurants in Amsterdam. It’s the kind of place you keep thinking about long after the meal is over, and one I recommend without hesitation.

Last week we had dinner at Selva, and we had a wonderful experience. The interior is beautiful and immediately gives you South American vibes. The view from the 24th floor is also amazing. We chose the chef's tasting menu, and every dish was delicious, but the sea bream was definitely our favorite. We were seated at the kitchen counter, which was such a fun experience because we could watch the chefs prepare every dish. A special thanks to our hostess, Fiorella. She recommended a fantastic wine and was genuinely interested in hearing which dishes we liked most and how we had discovered the restaurant. Overall, we had an amazing evening and would definitely recommend Selva!

The view was amazing, and we chose the set menu, which let us try lots of different dishes - perfect if it's your first time. The food and drinks were fantastic. Amazing experience at Selva today! It was my 3rd time coming in, and just as always, it did not disappoint. I had the pleasure of being served by Monica and Lorenzo, who were both very attentive and knowledgable. Thank you both for your great service! As far as food goes, the appetizers were amazing as per usual. The fish — likewise — super fresh with a touch of acidic notes, especially suited for the good weather. As for the steak... A special shoutout to the manager, Adam, a very humble and chill person, who made us feel very welcome, and to our hostesses for the night, Maria and Nicole, who treated us like we were at home. All in all, an amazing experience, one that I will for sure repeat many times to come!

I love Selva, it’s one of my favourite restaurants in Amsterdam! Menu has changed a bit and the lamb is back, hallelujah! The gambas were also great, but the new rice dish is good, not as good as the old dish. Overall, still amazing food! Alex served us and he did it with joy and knowledge of the dishes! He’s amazing and his knowledge in the dishes was so helpful! I will definitely request him the next time I come in. It was also my mum’s birthday and he made sure she was well celebrated!
