We had our Christmas dinner here. It was a cozy atmosphere. The food was delicious and the service took very good care of the guests. However, a slightly more expensive restaurant.

Last Thursday we ate again very well. What a fresh, excellently prepared dinner. Beautiful linen covered tables. Service-oriented people who know what a customer wants! Finished with a freshly made Irish coffea at the table. We enjoyed it! See you soon!

I had a wonderful dining experience last Saturday! The service was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and seamless. And the Peking duck? Absolutely impeccable—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. A truly memorable meal. The host even shared some French words with us at the end. Merci beaucoup!

If you are a lover of Peking duck, then you have found paradise here. What a great restaurant. And the Irish Coffee is also great and is made with love for you!

I always come to this restaurant everytime that I am in Amsterdam. But tonight I was told 30 minutes for their signature duck dish but I had to wait more than one and half hours to get the meal served and meanwhile other tables that come after us were served first. Disappointed with the experience this time.

This Chinese restaurant, located on one of the most popular streets in Amsterdam, has become our favorite spot for Peking Duck. They have three-course Peking Duck dinner. It starts with the duck pancakes, (my favourite) followed by a duck soup, and then finishes with three different main dishes, all made from duck. I also highly recommend trying their special soup. The service is pleasant, and there's a terrace that's perfect for dining during the warmer months. It's a wonderful place to enjoy a meal in such a vibrant area. They also offer a good selection of wines, which pairs well with the dishes. For anyone who loves Peking Duck, this is a must-try.

One of the best chinese restaurant in Amsterdam. Order a peeking duck and you will have a (private) chef to make this for you. Overall, the taste is really good but pricey. It’s not the normal chinese restaurant like itself in Zeedijk. The service like French restaurants. I would say the high-end chinese restaurant !!!

I'm gonna have to say 3 Stars Tops I had the Sichuan "Tjop Kam" sp? Basically Combo Meat Sichuan Dish with Vegetables the sichuan sauce felt a bit more like sweet and sour with minimal spice there were no red/sichuan chiles served in the dish, there may have been peppercorns used but not sure, it just kinda tasted like ah sweet and sour with barely any kick, which for me is ah Huge Miss No Chopsticks were ever offered... or presented as an option. I find that super odd The White/Steamed rice was definitely too firm-tough, I like my Rice Fluffy and Soft-- fairly basic task... no disrespect For a "White Table Cloth" restaurant @ $30 a dish, I expect a lot more representation for said dish starting with "Sichuan" they don't cook food for my taste/preference, just sharing experience

Best Chinese dining in town. Love this place!

The food is mediocre and the guy serving was extremely rude. Escalated to the owner - she was not much nicer. There was a party of several hundreds people running next door, and they seemed to be annoyed with it. They highlighted numerous times that they were not part of that party. As a result - no tips, no extra orders (which would have been the case otherwise), and a bad review. How can you be such an idiot…

Impeccable service. Well done Sichuan Chinese food - highly recommend the Mapo Tofu. Prices are a bit high but overall the quality matches it - it would be nicer if steamed rice was included and vegetables were cheaper. Will definitely be back.

Sichuan Food was a complete culinary experience. We had the pleasure to come during our anniversary dinner, and honestly we couldn't have chosen any better! The service was excellent and the food was beyond tasty. We had the pecking duck menu for two people and it was mindblowing! Would definitely come again, and I highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice restaurant to celebrate a special occasion.

Nice Sichuan restaurant in Amsterdam with cozy ambience. The food was spicy and delicious. Fried rice was flavorful and the chicken dish was really tasty. The dessert was surprisingly yummy, roasted banana with ice cream and chocolate syrup. Overall we had an amazing dinner and would love to visit again. Absolutely recommended!

Starter spring rolls and dim sum were super delicious! Then the Peking duck was incredible! The staff extremely attentive. All in all a very great evening with a lovely atmosphere! Thank you!

It was one of the best dinner I had in my life… We went there for the Peking duck. What we got was a heart warming stay in a quiet nice restaurant. The ambient was perfect , even more was the food and the outstanding service. The evening was a journey trough lots of different tastes. We will come back … :)

Didn’t feel very welcome at this restaurant. We were two female diners, arriving early at 6pm having booked online. Perhaps the owners prefer a certain type of customer and we didn’t fit the profile. Either way, we weren’t afforded the same kind of service and attention as the other two tables in an otherwise dead restaurant. A real shame because the food was good, although overpriced for what it was. A side of vegetables, for instance, cost nearly €20 and while nice was literally just some stir fried yau choy. Disappointing!

After all the research for Chinese restaurants in Amsterdam we decided to try this restaurant. Food: + balanced flavors, well-executed. Definitely more Cantonese than Sichuan cuisine. - rice was definitely too hard and not good quality. The portion of each of the main courses was the smallest I have ever seen at most of Chinese restaurants in Europe except for the tapas concept. Service: professional but forgot one dish Price: this restaurant is probably one of the most expansive Chinese restaurants in the city. But is it reasonable to charge extra even for the low quality rice? Overall, we appreciated the original interior, white table cloth and professional service. The food represents the authentic Cantonese cuisine in the Netherlands and was good but unfortunately not enough for that price the restaurant charges.

We started (on recommendation) with chicken spring rolls because the traditional Peking duck in 3 courses would take half an hour. Those 2 pathetic spring rolls turned out to cost €10.50. I think it's excessively high. It wasn't necessarily tasty either. Regular spring rolls to pass the waiting time. The Peking duck in pancakes were really delicious. You only get 3 of them, unfortunately. I found the duck stock tasteless and not very special. The next dish I didn't like the duck in a sweet sauce. Too sweet and chewy meat. Ginger ale for €5, well... Furthermore, friendly staff and good service!

Bij Sichuan Food voelt het als thuiskomen. Chinees eten op hoog niveau met uitstekende wijnen. Goede service en gewoon top eten.

Al jaren lang een van onze favourite Restaurants , altijd een warme ontvangst , het eten is top , heerlijk ! de bediening zeer anttent en zomers is ook het terras een must ! dit fijne resaurant is een absolute aanrader !

The service by the staff was very warm and welcoming. It was so comforting having authentic Chinese cuisine with actual mala spices. I did wish it was spicier but I think it more suited to local taste. We enjoyed all the dishes we ordered, especially the mala chicken. Would recommend trying if you are in the mood for Chinese!

Tripped over this lovely Resturant that accommodated my Vegan choices and the meal was fabulous! One of the best meals my family and I had while in Amsterdam.

Our secret spot, always coming back for a speacial occasion ❤️ They have the best Peking Duck I have ever tasted in my life all around the World, and belive me I did try in a lot of restaurants and no one beats this one. I had the Crispy shredded duck which was very juicy and tasty. The staff were always on hand if we required any further drinks. The atmosphere was quite subdued but we went in early before it started to get busier.

Wir sind gerne und oft zu Gast in diesem Restaurant. Die Peking Ente ist umwerfend. Wir haben diese feine Speise sehr genossen davor hatten wir eine Auswahl von Dim Sum und Frühlingsrolle. Köstlich!!! Eine gut gekühlte Flasche Ruinart rundete den kulinarischen Genuss ab.

This is fine dining Chinese. White table cloths; attentive waiting staff; delicate, flavoursome and beautifully presented food. The lightest, most delicate Peking Duck pancakes ever eaten. Simply first class.

Ein schöner Abend mit sehr guten Essen. Dieses kleine Restaurant hat einen aufmerksamen Service, es wurden Empfehlungen ausgesprochen welche wirklich perfekt waren. Wir hatten Ente in zwei verschiedenen Varianten, beide waren sehr lecker. Getränke wurden schnell gebracht und immer schnell nachgeschenkt. Eine klare Empfehlung für dieses Restaurant , welches wir sicherlich noch einmal besuchen werden.

The food was ok, but they place is way too expensive. We order one dish per person and one bottle of water. We pay 100+ euros. Part of the price was hidden fees (e.g. they tell you that the dish comes with either rice or noodles, but they charge the rice as an extra dish), other parts were insane prices (8 euros for a bottle of water).

Delicious food but too expensive considering what they offer. I would not go there again.

Unremarkable Chinese food, the fine dining seems to only extend to the presentation and the prices. The Royal Gifts hor d'oeuvre was acceptable though name promises quite a bit more, the Saint Jacques were oversalted, a bit bland otherwise, and only included 3 small mushrooms in total, and the fried rice had no traces of frying and was at best steamed brownish rice. The menu experience was also a bit strange, they seemed to be pushing the wine pretty hard because they do not even list any other drink options on the menu.
