Cozy bistro on the edge of the Makado center. Friendly and quick service of our lunch: 2 bowls of chicory soup with baguette and herb butter.

Had a delicious lunch and the sandwich of the week together with my boyfriend. Friendly staff. Had a good meal and it wasn't expensive.

The whipped cream on the chocolate milk is delicious, the service is good, and a dirty sofa was cleaned immediately. I'm happy with it :)

During our trip to Schagen, there was a traditional costume festival going on, and the town was completely overrun. We managed to get a table here to enjoy a coffee. Despite the crowds, the service was friendly. It was nice that we were offered a water with our coffee without asking.

Not being able to eat anything because they have never heard of allergens. It is mandatory for catering to be able to inform your customers about their products. Do walk to a better place.

Eten was goed maar het bestek is vreselijk, vork kan geen stukje ham of sla aan prikken, mes is een nachtmerrie, met moete ham snijden en het harde bolletje is met veel moete te snijden, je krijg pijn in je fingers van het aan duwen.

The waitresses are very friendly, but the owner himself is unfortunately not (hence the 3 stars for service). The fries are delicious. That's what I love coming to "Smul" for. The ambiance has undergone several changes over the years and is currently beautiful and atmospheric.

Personeel was onvriendelijk. Gaat in discussie met de klant. Eten niet snijdbaar, omdat de korst van het brood te hard was. Personeel beschuldigd de klant dat het wel snijdbaar was en het brood goed was. Belachelijk hoe ze omgaan met klanten. Klant hoort gelijk te hebben en hoeft geen eten te accepteren dat niet goed is, het hoort goed te zijn waar we voor betalen. Als de klant een klacht heeft over eten of drinken hoeft er niet een tegenwoord te zijn maar moet het gewoon geregeld worden.

A great bistro where you can enjoy a delicious lunch. The only downside is drying your hands after using the restroom. The device on the wall doesn't work properly. The alternative is toilet paper to dry your hands.

Nice staff, quick service and not expensive. Delicious apple pie. We first sat next door (Soho) but no one came to us.

Last Friday, due to unforeseen circumstances, my wife and I had limited time to grab a bite to eat between our busy working day and an obligation in Leeuwarden at 8:30 PM. We are very happy that we chose Smultaria - Bistro Smul. Fortunately, upon arrival we were able to park easily and for free, which was a big advantage in our situation. Immediately upon arrival we were kindly received and placed at a clean table for two people. The contact with the service was very nice and we were helped in no time. The drinks arrived quickly and shortly afterwards a delicious plate was ready for us. We would like to thank the friendly service and kitchen staff for the delicious meal that was prepared for us very quickly. During busy times, such as the holiday period, it is sometimes difficult to find good staff, but that was not noticeable here at all. We have shown our appreciation not only through a tip, but also through this positive note, because unfortunately it is not always self-evident that you will be helped so well and quickly. Two happy customers, and we will definitely visit you again!

Went here for something to eat and drink. Had to wait quite a long time for service. Locals were treated courteously. As guests from abroad, we didn't feel welcome. Tomato soup was OK, but you can get it better elsewhere.

Vullen een ander bedrag in wanneer je met pin betaald. Daar kwam ik thuis achter toen ik mijn rekening checkte. Let op bij het afrekenen.

Delicious coffee, tasty sandwiches. We sat in the conservatory. Pleasant, but occasionally a bit draughty. Otherwise a great company!

Delicious double steak with mushroom sauce. Meat was fresh and well cooked. The shrimp cocktail beforehand and the ice cream afterwards were also delicious. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos, recommended for next time. I can recommend this business to everyone, the staff is also very friendly and helpful!

Had a nice lunch and was pleasantly busy

It's been years since I've been here, but it remains the same this time. We were helped well, but I thought I had fallen into an elderly lounge. It was really striking that everything inside was elderly people. It also felt like a dead end... okay just kidding. No.... you have to love it.

Kwamen uit het kerstparadijs de boet in Hoogwoud. En gingen gezellig lunchen in Schagen. Netjes, en gastvrij personeel ruime kaart en prijs prima. De cappuccino was waterig volgens mijn meiden smaakte het naar een latte. De klassieker broodje warm vlees, was op een kadet gedaan, dat werd sompig. Meiden hadden tonijn salade op een hard broodje, zat een spinnetje op. En kip teriyaki broodje. smaak van alles was prima, vlees mals. Patatjes waren ook lekker.

Lekker gezeten n de bistro, vriendelijke bediening. Hebben heerlijk hazelnoot schuimgebakje bij de koffie. Wat ook erg fijn is, ze kijken je niet de deur uit als je nog even lekker zit nadat je hebt afgerekend.

Ijsjes zijn duur in verhouding met hoeveelheid. En controleer je bedrag want ik moest meer afrekenen dan dat het kostte.

Heerlijk bakkie koffie gedronken. Mooie zaak.

Gewoon een leuke plek om even te lunchen, eten, of met een kopje bij te praten. Komen er al jaren en eigenlijk niks op aan te merken. Fijn personeel en het eten is altijd goed.

Heerlijk geluncht, maar het kipgerechten met broodje had iets meer kip mogen inzitten. Ik had een maaltijd salade en vis , was prima en goed gevuld.

Ik betaalde voor een restaurant maar at in een veredelde snackbar op een terras.

Ik heb heerlijk gelunched vanmiddag. Niks op aan te merken, service een 10+. Er is 1 puntje van aandacht, wellicht een rookvrij terras. We zaten binnen te lunchen, deur stond op, het was mooi weer. Een klant zat op het terras te roken, de rook kwam binnen gewaaid terwijl we aan het eten waren. Niet prettig. Willen mensen roken, dan maar wanneer ze weggaan

Lekker en vriendelijk personeel

Nettes Bistro mit diversen Speisen, Snacks, Eis und Kaffeesorten. Komme dort schon seit Jahren gerne Mal im Urlaub vorbei. Die bisherigen Erfahrungen sind gut, die Preise in Ordnung. Man kann draußen, im Wintergarten oder drinnen gemütlich sitzen. Da gehen wir gerne wieder hin, also von mir empfehlenswert.

Prima diner met familie hier gehad ,alles heerlijk en goed warm ,leuk spontaan personeel we hebben het erg naar onze zin gehad

Fijne plek om een hapje te eten. In ons geval hadden we kleine warme Hollandse garnalen met groente en een perfect gebakken broodje.

Altijd gezellig. Woon nu in Ede, maar wanneer ik in Schagen ben ga ik lekker lunchen bij Smultaria. Vriendelijk personeel en lekker eten !

Oude collega's ontmoet en heb nog nooit gezien dat er zo snel de koffie op tafel kwam als ze diegene kennen weten ze het recept en hup koffie... Leuke gezellige Smultaria met heel goed personeel Top Tent 👍👍👍

Prima restaurant, behorend bij de naastgelegen frietzaak. Je kunt hier eenvoudig en niet te duur lunchen of dineren. Prettige bediening. Geen haut-cuisine, maar je kunt het absoluut slechter treffen dan hier. Kwaliteit naar prijs.

Voor een lekker 12-uurtje kan je hier prima terecht. De bediening is vriendelijk en snel, Het 12 uurtje is een aanrader; lekker kopje soep, broodje kroket en boterham met kaas, wat rauwkost en een drankje. wat wil je nog meer.
