I won't say anything about the food and the atmosphere in the restaurant itself, because that is always very tasty and good here, but I do have to talk briefly about the telephone contact. I wanted to make a reservation for a table of 4 by phone. The first time I called, the gentleman on the other end of the line was very hard to hear and they hung up. I thought it was due to my connection, but when I tried to call a second time and asked the same question, I only heard background noise on the phone, and they hung up again. The third time, they hung up again after less than 3 seconds. I gave up on calling. Was this my fault? I certainly believe that this doesn't normally happen and that the atmosphere and service in the restaurant are usually good, but my experience was not positive.

Restaurant with a terrace on the canal, and we had a great time. We shared a combined plate of "dutch tapas" between 4 of us. It was enough for lunch and we paid a fair price.

The menu consists of many different small dishes, and there are many vegetarian options. The dishes were all flavorful. The service is very friendly, and there are nice places to sit both inside and outside. You do have to wait a bit longer for your dishes to arrive (15/20 minutes, I think?). I didn't find this to be a problem myself, but it is something to keep in mind. The desserts are also super tasty, and there is plenty of choice there too. I definitely recommend it and would certainly come back again! :)

My compliments to this establishment and the staff. When mentioning dietary requirements, they are immediately taken care of, you receive a separate card to place your orders, and they explain what you can and cannot order. The personal approach shows that they really take this into account! We also had a delicious meal with plenty of options on the menu; all in all, definitely worth a return visit!

Super cozy atmosphere, both inside and out! We thoroughly enjoyed all the different dishes, which were brought to the table promptly. Each one was nicely presented and tasted great. A surprise every time. As for the desserts, you simply MUST try the failed apple pie once (or twice). Despite the (fortunately subsiding) heat, the staff were very friendly and efficient. Respect! It was my wife's birthday and she was also put in the spotlight in a very nice and surprising way. The food was incredibly delicious, and the service was fantastic. In short: we had a wonderful evening!

My mother and I had a lovely meal at T Zusje in Utrecht. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The food arrived within just 10 minutes of every round and was delicious. It was also nice that they have seasonal dishes. The dessert with real Dutch strawberries was our favorite.

Food was fine. Friendly service. The spot where we sat was less than ideal. Under a staircase. We were looking directly at the steps. And every time there was banging from people on the stairs.

The food is of good quality and the concept is nice. It is good for a large group. However, the acoustics are quite poor in the side room with the dome. If another group is sitting at the table that is noisy (which was the case with us), it makes the evening very difficult. The staff did their best to say something about it, but people simply didn't listen. I would add a few more sound-absorbing details.

We were warmly welcomed and courteously shown to the table we wanted, down by the canal. The service was very friendly, and we received a polite answer to any questions we had. It was a very successful evening in honor of our 15-year-old granddaughter's birthday. We had indicated this via the app, and with dessert, she received a fireworks fountain, which surprised her greatly. The menu has been updated, so there are some new dishes on it. The seasonal starter is fantastic!! Highly recommended for dining.

We were received very kindly. However, we did have to wait a long time for our menus and drinks. At the beginning, we were also served fairly full plates. That is to say, the beef tataky initially consisted of 5 slices, but later only 2 or 3. The fries were tough and tasted stale. Naturally, we pointed this out. It was discussed with the kitchen, but no new ones were brought. We didn't order them again ourselves either. And just a tip for those with a disabled parking permit: you can park almost right in front of the door. There is one disabled parking space there, and in any case, you can park for free in Utrecht with such a card.

My husband and I treated our mother to an evening out at t'zusje, and it turned out to be a very successful evening. First of all, we had asked for a table upstairs, and it was indeed ready for us! We had a delicious meal. The dishes were all equally tasty! The desserts were delicious too. The service was very prompt and extremely friendly. It is definitely recommended to visit t'zusje if you want to sit and eat in a relaxed and cozy atmosphere.

The food is just as we are used to from the sister restaurant. Tasty bites. However, the portions were a bit larger than we experienced at another sister restaurant. And the acoustics here are not as good. It was quite difficult to hold a conversation.

EDIT: We were contacted afterwards and found a suitable solution. Thank you for taking this seriously!! Unfortunately, not the service we had hoped for. We were dining out with a total of 7 people during King's Night. We have already been to several branches of 't Zusje, so we really wanted our friends to experience this. However, when the first round was served, I felt unwell. So I didn't eat a single bite, and my girlfriend and I decided to leave. When my girlfriend wanted to inform the employee that we were leaving as a group of 2 and how we should resolve the payment, the employee stated that only my costs were waived, but that my girlfriend had to pay the full price for the Burgundian experience. That makes no sense, of course, since she only had one round of dishes. She was unwilling to consider this in any way, for example by charging for the other package. This gives a restaurant with a beautiful concept that we have long been fans of a dark edge.

Highly recommended for a relaxed evening. Reservations are recommended; 't Zusje is very popular, even in the Netherlands. It's also handy that they have an up-to-date website where you can check the number of available spots per day.

The dishes were really tiny, and sometimes the garnishes were bigger than the dish itself. Not suitable for sharing; it's better to order for each person individually. Compared to other restaurants with the same concept, it was very expensive for comparable quality. I'm not sure I'd go back. Otherwise, we had a pleasant evening. There were also plenty of vegetarian options on the menu.

Expensive, greasy food. Doesn't exceed Kwalitaria standards. They call themselves a Tapas Restaurant. You just get small, greasy snacks for a lot of money. The service is friendly but extremely young. It borders on exploitation.

As part of a company outing, we come here every year on a weekday evening in November or December with about 10 people. 't zusammen (The Sister Restaurant) is located just outside the city center, but within walking distance of well-known places like the Neude, St. Janskerkhof, Vredenburg, and Utrecht Central Station. The choice for 't zusammen was the concept. Enjoy a hearty meal for a fixed all-inclusive price, with a wide variety of dishes that can also accommodate requests such as vegetarian, halal, celiac, and undoubtedly other allergies. The establishment is located directly on the Oudegracht canal. The entrance is on the waterfront after descending a steep staircase. The building consists of several floors, each with its own compartments. The advantage of this is that it never feels crowded or crowded. The disadvantage is that it can sometimes take a while to find a coat rack or toilet. I also think the building is not fully wheelchair accessible. The different floors are all quite dark. This is because there are few windows in the building. 't zus has done its best to create a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. In my opinion, they've partially succeeded, but overall, a little more light would have been more pleasant. Upon arrival, the group is assigned a host or hostess. This person guides you throughout the evening. The service is always excellent. Drinks are served quickly, and we never have to wait long for our dishes. When a particular room is full, it can get quite noisy, especially with large groups in one room. Dining in peace is out of the question. I've always loved the food. Besides the classics, there are also various seasonal dishes. Personally, I really enjoy the Kleintje Classic USA, prawns and shrimp, tenderloin steak, rendang, beef bourguignon, and the pie as main courses. For dessert, the Bastogne parfait, marshmallow mousse, and tiramisu are highly recommended. Finally, the cocktails are also highly recommended. This year I had the Pornstar Martini, and I highly recommend it! All in all, a great place to dine with a larger group.

The concept is comparable to La Cubanita. It's cozy, the flavors are okay, and the service is friendly and okay. It's nothing special. It's definitely not worth the extra 30-40% price tag over La Cubanita.

The concept is fantastic because you can try so many different things on the menu. All the dishes I tried would have been worth serving as a complete meal, but this way you can be surprised time and again by something delicious. There are so many Zusjes, I'm absolutely certain this won't be the last time I eat there.

Most of the food wasn't tasty or was cold, a small piece of meat with a large dollop of sauce. The slips of paper you're supposed to write your order on weren't immediately replenished when they ran out. The host also kind of asked for a tip by asking if he should give back the rest of the money I'd given, which didn't seem right. Other than that, we had a pleasant evening together.
