The food wasn't a culinary highlight. The staff was friendly and efficient. The prices were on the high side.

Accidentally I spotted this place and I was surprised. Very tasty, very friendly, and very quick. Good service like in Tokyo. I had spicy tonkotsu and it was very good!

no wonder there was no waiting time. i guess this was our stereotypical dutch dining experience. we asked a few question about food and the server’s answer to all of them was “i don’t know”. it was kinda condescending. the server was also coming with the card machine to other tables around us but for some reason we were asked to pay the bill at the counter. we ordered miso chicken ramen. the service and food were ok. there are better places to spend your money. although the chilli sauce they give you is to die for.

Can easily say, the tastiest ramen I've ever had.

I visited taste of Ramen with my husband we both took a delicious soup and tea. The service was very fast and kind and the soup was very good!

That’s what you get for 25,30 Ramen isn’t the best. For this amount you would love to have more taste. But not bad either. Stuff is nice, all clean and quiet atmosphere there and served quite fast. Overall just very average ramen. There was no people inside when I came, i like that. All other restaurants are usually very crowded compared to this one.

The seating isn't great, but the soups are fantastic!

My ramen was just water and Salt. The ramen of my partner also was not even tasty. We did not enjoy the food so it’s not worth the price.

I think this is the best pho in Amsterdam. I'm a regular and have tried a few now, and I'm constantly amazed. DELICIOUS. The lady who works there is also a sweetheart and goes above and beyond to keep customers happy. Furthermore, the price-quality ratio is excellent. Great location, easily accessible.

We stumbled upon this place by chance and we weren't disappointed. We really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere (we've been twice, the ramen is excellent 🍜). Perfect for a relaxing break and great food.

The girl who served us was super friendly and always had a smile. They have Japanese beer, which is a great bonus. The ramen was very good; the broth was delicious, the meat was tender and flavorful, and the only downside was that the egg was slightly undercooked. But overall, it was excellent value for money, and the service was top-notch.

I had ramen and it was decent, but far away from the best ones I tasted in my life. Don’t go here if you are Ramen-Lover and have your personal rank of best places in town, but if you are just looking for a satisfying meal - it’s okay.

Ive been here twice now, their chicken curry is AMAZING. All the food is for a reasonable price and gets prepared quickly. The lady taking the orders is very nice and attentive.

It was okay. The food was fine but the staff wasn't toooo social.I liked that there was BTS music playing all the time and that they had kimchi as a side dish which I ordered and was surprised by because it was very authentic.But afterwards my friend was Ill.

very boring atmosphere i ordered pork ramen and got food poisoning 😞 the lady outside keeps smoking even while cooking, though the edemame beans were good they could have been boiled longer. but long story short i dont think their pork is fresh

It is a small place however i absolutely loved the Tokyo Shoyu ramen. It was one of the best ramen bowls i’ve had!! The chicken in it was really tasty too. Would definitely return if we visit Amsterdam again!

We came across this restaurant by chance while walking in Chinatown, without checking the reviews first. We didn't "ate badly" but it is true that the dishes lacked a little flavor, the ramen broth was quite bland and the noodles still stuck together, the gyozas were good. In short, the dishes were just okay, however, the smell in front of the kitchen was really disconcerting.

I dont understand the less than fab reviews. Ramen bowl was full, tasty and creamy. Service was quick and location not crowded like every other restaurant in Amsterdam Chinatown.

The food won't be the best in China Town, however, it's ok. However, if we give importance to the atmosphere, it seems that we are eating in a place worthy of Shanghai itself. The ramen delivers, it won't blow your mind but it is very tasty and creamy (I ordered the spicy pork one) perfect for the cold weather here. The price was very good, I recommend if you are looking for something affordable and filling.

My ramen was actually a bowl of noodles with chicken and overbooked cabbage. That was definitely the saddest ramen I've ever had. Also, looked totally different from the pic.

We had lunch here with sides. Everything was actually delicious. The spring rolls were definitely recommended, but so was the soup. The setting is a bit cafeteria-like. You sit upstairs, the kitchen is downstairs. The service was super friendly and Dutch-speaking.

It was an experience. Not a good one. But an experience! Taste like nothing, looks like... well... not delicious.

Taste of Ramen in Amsterdam offers a cozy refuge, especially on a chilly summer day. I tried the veggie ramen, which was exactly what I needed – nice, warm, and comforting. The broth was rich, and the vegetables were fresh and well-cooked. However, the curry rice with shrimp was just average, lacking a bit of the flavor punch I was hoping for. The service here is really nice, and the owner is exceptionally sweet and attentive, making the dining experience pleasant. While the food had its highs and lows, the welcoming atmosphere and genuine hospitality make it a place worth visiting. Four stars for the overall experience!

The staff was very unfriendly and didn't make you feel welcome. Apparently they don’t know the motto “The customer is king”. In addition, they don't stick to their opening hours, open too late, close too early or leave the store closed completely. It seems like no one wants to go there. Overall, a very very bad experience. Recommendations: BETTER GO TO ANOTHER RAMEN STORE!!!

Food is just good price-quality, the service… what can you expect from a typical family restaurant runned by one person, again just good. Atmosphere, you forget you are in the middle of Amsterdam which is good after all the crowd and english people walking around.

Sweet little shop. The boss is very nice, he offers a piece of paper to write down the order to avoid mistakes. The food comes quickly and tastes good. Really okay in terms of price. We'd love to come back

I do not recommend. Really terrible service. The older man doesn't even take the order, he just asks the guests to write down menu items on a piece of paper. Google will probably ban this opinion, but the food is great, better than I had in Shanghai. If you have ever been in Chinese restaurant than you probably know the service, apart from that I am pleased.

We ordered Ramen. They brought us boiled noodles. The waiter was one very rude waiter who must have hated his job! To my tourist friends, avoid this place like you avoid plague.

basic decor,friendly staff who speak in a concise manner. You can tell the owner has love for the place by his expression when it filled up, and how clean everything is. Food is decent,subtle flavors which could be percieved as mild. Gyoza was delicious, nice sauce.

The atmosphere was not very comfortable, the waitress does not have the best manners and the food is below average, skip this and find better options on the zone.

Eating here it's like a performance art. The owner is a piece of art himself. His performance of being an indifferent person really worked out well. The highlight of the show was being silenced by him. The television next to our table really added to the atmosphere of the establishment.

Interior looks like from the 60ties of the last century, you would not believe it's a restaurant rather than a student lowcost dormitory. You should state you have an allergy to get a fresh new pair of chopsticks, otherwise they are re-used. Ramen itself was more a hot water with noodles.

Don't even go in!! I got food poisoning from the pork in the ramen. At the time I tried to tell the owner that maybe there was something wrong with the food and he just told us to pay and leave. He never apologized. He made us pay for the food we couldn't eat and was super rude. At the end he got really aggressive and said that he was going to beat us (????). We had to pay, but will never come back!!! Definitely one of the worst restaurants I've been to!

Ordered tonkotsu ramen for dinner during a rainy night. For not very hungry people, it is actually well enough for two person. The broth is very rich with the aroma of the pork. Each spoonful of ramen with the broth is superb. We were served with four big pieces of three layered pork well roasted and still juicy with smokey smell. Overall we were very satisfied with the ramen after we had tasted ichiran ramen previously. The taste was different however it was very worth to try out.

I like the relaxed atmosphere of the place. The I had has the right texture. Moreover, the chicken were very tasty and juicy. It has a plethora of baverages including Ramune. Highly recommended.

I really love the chill atmosphere, the owner was really friendly and warm. One of the best ramen places that i have been in the Netherlands. The portion was huge, love the flavorful chicken, the noodle was perfect not too soft and not too hard. Highly recommend this place, be sure to add a dash of soy sauce or chili sauce if you need to (just to cater to your liking)

Ramen without further ado, I felt cheated because he brought us a plate with 4 balls of something I don't even know, thinking it was a courtesy and then he charged me on the bill. He would say "thank you, byebye" and I felt like he was laughing in my face. It has ruined my day to have to pay €50 for a meal that is nothing more. not really go

Read the reviews before coming. If you are a Ramen fan, don’t come here. I had a tonkotsu shoyu ramen and i’m sure it was from an instant package. No taste at all, cute presentation but zero flavor. This is Chinese ownership and they don’t do an authentic ramen.

They fed us wonderfully, you can tell that it is homemade food, the owner of the bar was very friendly and the service was great, I would not hesitate to return, very welcoming.

Super Ramen for me. Delicious, hot, dense, rich. Place as it appears on the outside: bordering on decency and quite dirty. I asked for things and more came. For me it was all about food.
