Teds Amsterdam Jordaan - All day Brunch in Jordaan

All the tables that came after us were served before us, the waitress was a bit rude and we waited more than 45 mins to receive our order and the food came cold. Also check your bill when paying with a card machine they put a different bills total

The waiters were rude and completely indifferent. When orange juice was spilled and I asked for napkins, I was told to wait—something that should be handled immediately in any decent place. Maybe they don’t want to do this job; this is something the owner should address, possibly related to low wages. The eggs were badly undercooked and not as they should be. We heard the same complaints from nearby tables, but no one cared. On top of that, the view faces a construction site—hardly what you come to Amsterdam for.

Great experience! The place is very cozy and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious. A special shout-out to our waiter, Gigi, who was extremely kind and attentive. Highly recommended!

Luigi was a great server. Made my partners birthday very special with a cheesecake and a candle at the end. Lovely place.

Food: Ordered the Turkish egg and unfortunately instantly regretted it, unfortunately the bread dough was stone hard until I got a softer replacement. But I ended up eating sunny side up egg with lots of onions for £15 (€17) mostly and 2 bulky bread dough. Staff:were nice and wholesome. Atmosphere: The hot chocolate was nice as well very different. Funny ornaments and signs posted all of the place to make you smile instantly.

Very friendly staff, we quickly had a drink there. Perfect if there's room. It's a very pleasant place to sit while strolling through the city, or if you want a drink before visiting Anne Frank. The food also looked delicious, and I'll definitely try it again when I go back.

I've been to Ted's before, but at a different location, Ted's Oud West, and that was a completely different experience, a positive one. That's why I was very surprised by this one. We had made a reservation for 1:00 PM, but because it was so busy, I ended up having to wait 20 minutes for a table. That was already a disappointment, as I've never had to wait for a reservation anywhere before. The employee who answered my call wasn't very customer-friendly. I understand it's busy and you want to seat everyone, but your tone of voice is very important. The employee said a table had become available and I could sit down, but she asked when my friend would arrive. I said in 5 minutes and that I'd already be seated. The employee said the time starts running as soon as you sit down. I said that's fine, no problem. Fortunately, ordering food went smoothly and the food was delicious. The waitress was friendly. After the waitress cleared the table, the other employee came over to us. We had to leave our table even though our time wasn't up yet, and we still had drinks. In short, she unfairly dismissed us, spoke rudely, and gave us incorrect information about our reservation time. Again, when it's busy, you want to seat customers more quickly, but also consider your customers who still want to eat their food or drink. I won't be returning to this location, as it wasn't a relaxing lunch.

Everything was generally good. The place is nice with good atmosphere and they also have wifi. The only comment I have is regarding my order, I had the egg n pretzel and asked for boiled eggs and they brought them unpeeled.

Ted's was delicious. Cute spot with amazing food. Service was wonderful. I would highly recommend Ted's.

The food was ok but not great. Beware that they have fixed times for tables on busy days , but the service can be quite slow.

I’ve been here many times since I moved to the Netherlands and this lovely place never disappoints me. In fact, I always bring all my friends and people visiting me here for a brunch or lunch. The location in Amsterdam Jordaan is very nice and colorful! There are options both for sweet and savory, and the people working there very nice and kind! Definitely recommended❤️

A very welcoming and pleasant location. The staff were really nice and helpful; I really liked the simple way they welcomed you and made you feel involved. The food was really good and well-cooked. I love the Lotus cheesecake...highly recommended.

The restaurant is tucked away in a corner... Anyway, it's absolutely wonderful, very nice. We had breakfast there, in short, you absolutely must try Amsterdam Dates. It's one of the most delicious breakfast restaurants I've ever had, and I highly recommend it.

We had lunch at Teds and were very impressed: delicious food, appealing atmosphere & friendly staff - we were really surprised and happy in the end.

Our reservation was for 10am today!! From the moment we walked in, I knew this is going to be a different experience! I have been to 3 different Ted’s locations and have been disappointed. We walked in and were greeted by a warm smile. Our service was the perfect timing. The food was soooooo good! Only drawback is the brioche was a little tough to cut through. Other than that I would’ve happily given 5 stars. We ordered 2x americano’s with 1x OJ. To eat we ordered 1x Triple Omega, 1x Brisket Brioche! My wife said her food was good not great! My Brisket Brioche though 😍😍😍!! Defs worth a try! Oh and of course we love potato hash browns. Order a portion and coated them with Tabasco and Ketchup…yum yum!! Thank you again to the lady for the awesome service.

Absolutely awful, never again. I ordered high tea, but it was absolutely nothing refined. Thick globs of overwhelming truffle sauce and bouillabaisse sauce. A donut with chili sauce? The "pastries" were two slices of factory-made cake, still cold from the freezer. It just wasn't good. And if you leave half of it, the staff aren't interested in what you thought; they genuinely don't care. They barely manage to say hello and goodbye. The restaurant is full of tourists, and the staff's main language is English. I couldn't wait to leave.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3/5 Didn’t Live Up to the Social Media Hype I visited TEDS Amsterdam after seeing so many amazing reviews on social media and was really excited to try it. The place has a nice vibe and the staff were friendly, but the food was pretty standard, nothing bad, just nothing special or memorable. I expected more based on the hype. Also, if you’re hoping to sit by a window and watch the world go by, there’s only one window seat, so this isn’t the spot for that kind of experience. Overall, it’s fine for a quick bite, but there are definitely better places in Amsterdam that offer more value and atmosphere.

Very hyped place, this is a chain offering trendy brunches and cocktails all day long. Reserve in the week end as it can get very crowded. Food quality was a bit below the fame of the place. Prices are correct, and service is efficient. This is not really a chill and cosy spot: it s loud, busy, packed, but still good value for money and trendy.

We arrived at 3:50 PM, and they close at 5 PM. The kitchen was already closed, so we couldn't eat anything. So much for "all day" brunch? Very unfriendly. Adjust your hours or clearly state them on your website or something.

We had the shared brunch which was lovely as well as the service by Luigi. Definitely will be back! :)

Cozy place with delicious lunch dishes. It was very busy when I was there, so it took a while before we were helped. Luckily, the wait wasn't unpleasant because the atmosphere was great!

The people there are friendly. I think they are low staffed however they are doing their best. Food overall for breakfast was very good.

We were seated at the bar right in front of the sink where the bar tender was sprinkling dirty water at us. The staff didn't seem to give a care at all even though there were 8 available tables for 2. Hard avoid until they change their staff.

Guys, I kid you not go to this place it was so good my favourite was the Katsu sandwich I think it’s called. But go here. It’s such a great experience.!! Yeah

I made a reservation in advance, which cost €10. This was accidentally not included in the final price, which can happen. However, I've called four times and sent three emails, but still no response or refund.

THE BEST HASH BROWNS EVER. I am a potato girl through and through and omg the hash browns were unbelievably good. The Teds OG French toast was also really yummy, lots of food without being sickly or too sweet, it was just a fabulous brunch! And Luigi was fabulous as well which topped off the experience!

A nice restaurant near the Anne Frank House. Online reservations are recommended as it gets very busy during peak hours.

I have gone to Ted's in Eindhoven many times (over 100, no joke!). The food is consistently terrific. I booked for lunch at Ted's Jordaan, for myself and several friends visiting from the USA, expecting the food would be equally great. Unfortunately this was not the case. If this had been my first Ted's experience, I would never return. The waffle fries were dry and overcooked, as were our breakfast burritos. I hope that the quality at Jordaan can be improved, so that it shines just as much as the Eindhoven Ted's does.

Me and my friend ordered two French toasts and both were rock solid and cold. We also ordered eggs which were cold and could tell they had been left out for some time. Also, after asking for a new portion they were just reheated and still mild. The hashbrowns were nice however the service was awful. Two groups and three couples came in after us and all got served before us with food, the bill and on their way. We overall stayed there for nearly 2 and a half hours. 45 minutes for food and half an hour for the bill, both co workers looked and saw us waiting but did not want to seem to come over to help. Would never come back here again. We appreciate that the toast and eggs were taken off the bill

Went in here after the original place I wanted to go to for breakfast was booked. Was hesitant because of the poor service reviews here on google but not sure why because everything was fantastic! Great service, the food was delicious, especially the waffle fries with truffle mayo. Pro tip I got the breakfast burrito and asked for extra spicy or jalapeños if they had it and they brought out some jalapeño crema. Perfect touch and to boot played some reggaeton tunes as background music.
