I loved the place! I would definitely go back. The guy, Luigi, was super friendly and attentive 🙂‍↕️

Brunch was delicious. Our server Ethian was very kind and attentive.

They took us in without a reservation and with not much wait! That was good and thank you. But the food was a disappointment. Except for the gyoza - everything else that was served was cold including the fries. Most importantly, the waffle fries had a chicken popcorn in it. When asked, they said it was a mix up in the kitchen and took it back. They were then out of the fries. They said “will ensure not bill for it”! - how kind is that!!! And guess what? They did include it in the bill and we had to get it removed. For a vegetarian with religious beliefs, this is a big no and the way this was handled was also a big no!!

This cafe was so welcoming, and relaxing even in the heart of the city.

Ethian was a just a joy. He brought such good energy to our experience. Great recommendations and the food was wonderful. We didn’t have a reservation but they figured out a way to fit us in and truly a highlight experience. Highly recommend.

I usually don’t like to leave bad reviews but I felt SO bad for the staff working at this Ted’s location. I usually go to the Ted’s in Haarlem but today I was in Amsterdam and wanted to check out the location here. We were moved tables 3 times so they could fit as many people inside as possible. But there were only 2 people working on the floor. So far we waited 1 hour and 15 minutes for our food(we are still waiting) and we are not the only ones, also the 3 tables beside us have not received any food. 2 couples left because they were so upset. I never experienced something like this before. I am not blaming the staff, but the owner / manager should take more control of this. Maybe when customers come inside you could say “we’re extremely understaffed at the moment so the waiting time for food is more than 1 hour” Honestly it’s torture looking at the staff be under so much stress. And also the atmosphere is so bad because everyone is annoyed. Do better!!!Stop thinking of profit over people!!!!

True to the Teds brand's reputation, this establishment offers a lovely, fairly varied brunch menu. The dishes are very good, although the savory options could be a bit more generous. We weren't able to try the cakes as they were sold out, but the French toast was good. The service was very friendly and attentive, but rather slow. A good brunch spot.

Had a lovely time at Ted's! Service was great, food was even better. Our party had some dietary restrictions and needed some ingredients omitted from the dish and they took care of it! A beautiful location along the Jordaan canal which was let down by the disappointing food. We both ordered the French toast flight, which came out to us cold and hard. My boyfriend’s toast was quite burnt as well. Additionally, they never gave me the espresso I ordered.

Terrible service, waited for more than an hour to not get a single dish, not to mention the tables that came after us in larger parties got all of their food before we got even an appetizer, would recommend you to steer clear of this restaurant

Absolutely avoid this place — one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. We waited over an hour and fifteen minutes and never received a single dish. Not an appetizer, nothing. Meanwhile, tables that sat down well after us were served promptly, and a party of 12 nearby got through their entire first round of dishes and had already started on seconds before we saw so much as a plate. To make it worse, several of their dishes were identical to what we’d ordered; the served had apologized for the delay 30 minutes after our wait and after another 30 or more minutes, still nothing came

Waited over an hour for our order not to arrive as we watched others who came after us get their food. Don’t recommend this place at all.

Stopped here just a few minutes from the Anne Frank House and got a good mix of the menu. I had the bacon and anchovy dish with a poached egg, my husband got the breakfast burrito, and we shared an order of crispy cut fries with truffle sauce, plus an Americano on the side. Portions were genuinely generous, easily worth the price, and everything was solid across the board. Nothing here felt like a knockout, standout dish, but it was consistently good and satisfying, no complaints on quality. Worth knowing before you go: the space is popular with tourists, us included, and it gets busy with people taking photos and videos of their food and the interior. If that's not your scene, be prepared for it, it's part of the experience here given the location. Staff were okay overall and spoke English, which made ordering easy. The interior itself was pleasant. Best for a filling breakfast or brunch if you're exploring the Anne Frank House area and don't mind a lively, tourist-heavy atmosphere.

I’ve lived in Amsterdam for 3 years and this was the worst breakfast I’ve eaten. The food was terrible. The poached eggs were hard, there was less than one mushroom on the plate(instead of salmon) and you didn’t have the ingredients to make the hollandaise. The waitstaff , who were very polite, didn’t even ask if we enjoyed our breakfast because I think they knew. Do better please.
