A top-notch restaurant. Beautifully decorated with an atmospheric atmosphere and fantastic food. It couldn't be better with a Thai chef.

We had a fantastic meal at Thong Suk! We enjoyed the mixed appetizers, including deliciously crispy fried shrimp and satay with a superb peanut sauce. Then we had the most delicious chicken in green curry ever, and a surprisingly delicious fried ice cream for dessert. We were absolutely thrilled! A lasting reason to sail to Hindeloopen⛵️ 🎉! Our compliments to the chef for a fantastic meal.

Small portions, big prices. The food was really delicious. However, it was far too small for the price. Definitely recommended for a light snack, though. The service was clearly just having a mediocre day. It can happen.

A truly unique place. Service was provided by a single man, who kept a close eye on the entire room. Delicious dishes. A very sweet chef who smiled pleasantly throughout. Pleasant atmosphere. We will definitely be back. A small tip: put bowls on the table with slightly smaller pots so you can choose three dishes for two people, for example. A real taste experience. The starter could be a bit more substantial. The Thai mix with appetizers.

Today was our first time at Thong Suk Thai, and we were absolutely thrilled. Starting with the interior and atmosphere – super stylish and very inviting. The menu is small but refined, making it hard to choose because you honestly want to try everything. We ended up going with satay skewers as a starter, followed by green curry and chicken with pineapple. Everything was excellent – perfectly seasoned and simply delicious. To top it off, we treated ourselves to fried ice cream – total game changer! So tasty. We’ll definitely be back!

Authentic Thai! Delicious flavors and perfectly balanced. You will soon feel at ease because of the wonderful hospitality! So not only delicious food, but also very friendly owners. The owner is the host and he takes this task very seriously and the owner (a real Thai) is in the kitchen and that is certainly noticeable in a very positive way! People who run the business with passion are highly recommended!

Thaiven is a very welcome surprise in Hylpen! They have beautiful authentic Thai dishes with delicious flavors. And what nice people they are.

I can't rate the service and atmosphere, but the food is great. Finally Thai food within a reasonable travel time (Otherwise we'll go to Leeuwarden) We will definitely come back!

Got food for €56, the starters for 2 people were tasty, but very little for €17.50! Furthermore, 2 x main course chicken cashew and beef strips with oyster sauce, again very little for an average price of €19. No pronounced Thai flavors, bland and little spice. Would I order again, well NO

Always very friendly service and the food is simply delicious. Going there to eat again and again, I think speaks for itself.

Closing of the restaurant between 8:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. is very early for a tourist resort and one of the best harbors on the IJsselmeer. Despite there being free seats inside and a thunderstorm approaching, we had to sit outside without any rain protection, but we were able to get somewhere dry before the starter and the rain. At 8:20 p.m. we had to disturb the annoyed staff during their dinner in order to pay. The food was ok, but any better Thai chef on the street can do it equally well.

Delicious food and excellent service

Who would have expected to be able to enjoy real Thai cuisine in this small place? More of a classic excursion restaurant during the day, but after 5 p.m. Asian delicacies with a beautiful view over the harbor. Service is very courteous and quick, the food is all freshly prepared and even special requests are taken into account. Great price-performance ratio!

We were here for dinner today. I was actually skeptical, Thai isn't really my thing, but I was convinced here. It was really tasty, the waiter was super friendly and the prices were good for the quality. The Thai steak was top notch.

In a word? Thailand at the harbour! Authentic flavors and reasonably priced. This is the second time we have eaten here and it is highly recommended. Definitely come back here!

Delicious original Thai food! As if we were back on our backpacking trip in Asia. The herbs and flavors that are really good and originally belong to the dish. No crazy additions, just the pure dish!

I didn't expect such a good Thai restaurant in Hindeloopen. The nice Thai cook cooks very authentically. As delicious and varied as they cook in Thailand. And “spicy” here is really spicy. The service is very warm. I'm already looking forward to the next visits.

Delicious food, we had the fried beef strips with chili sauce as a starter, which were wonderfully seasoned. Followed by the massaman curry and kai pad medmamuang (chicken with cashew nuts) both were delicious. We will definitely eat there again, highly recommended!

All dishes and sauces are freshly prepared. High quality food and very tasty prepared. Friendly boss... absolutely recommended! Dogs allowed!

Heerlijk gegeten met het hele gezin. Echt een aanrader! Vriendelijk personeel en aardige chef. Enige kleine minpuntje is dat er binnen weinig zitruimte is. Maar met zonnig weer een heerlijk terras buiten.

The Thai soups were very tasty. Perfect for lunch. In the evening, I can also recommend the chicken curry. Although I only enjoyed the beef dish moderately.

Auf unserer Fietstour durch die Niederlande von Workum über Texel, Bergen aan Zee, Katwijk aan Zee, Rockanje, Renesse und Roosendaal, übernachteten wir zwei Tage auf einem Campingplatz in Workum. Von dort machten wir einen Ausflug nach Hindeloopen und kehrten für einen Boxenstopp im Thaiven 54 ein. Wir fanden ein nettes Plätzchen auf der Terrasse und bestellten zum Bier Tom Kha Gai – die berühmte Hühnersuppe mit Kokosmilch und Nudeln, die uns ausgezeichnet schmeckte. Auch der Service war flink und freundlich.

Wir haben uns überraschen lassen und wurden nicht enttäuscht, es war sehr lecker 😋

Heerlijk Thais gegeten. Zeer betaalbaar en vriendelijke bediening.

Heel erg lekker 4 gangen Thais gegeten en de kids (2 van de 3 houden nog niet van exotisch eten) een kindermenu met frietjes en een snackje.

Lekker eten met de typische Thaise smaken. Gezellige bediening. Kanjer dat om 8 uur de keuken al dicht ging en er daardoor ons eten zeer snel geserveerd kregen.

Vorab als Info, das Restaurant hat nun schon länger Thailändisches Essen und es nennt sich auch Thaiven und nicht mehr Haiven. Aber weit wichtiger ist ja das Essen vor Ort und das ist wirklich bemerkenswert lecker. Selbst unsere essenstechnisch kritische Tochter mochte das Essen super gerne und würde ebenfalls wieder dort etwas essen. Rundum fanden wir das Essen sehr lecker und die freundliche Atmosphäre in dem doch kleinen Restaurant rundet das positive Erlebnis ab. Tische sollten vorab reserviert werden, zumindest bei schlechten Wetter bzw. Am Wochenende. Wir gehen dort bestimmt sehr bald wieder zum Essen.

They are just start the bussiness so let cheer them up 💕💕 - Het is beetje een punt moet beter worden dat een ukraine ober niet zo goed verstandbaar en ze lijkt dat ze niet goed in haar vel of doet ze niet graag de job, De overheid en restaurant wou mansen van ukraine helpen en steunen. We moeten ze ook een kant geven he. Ze overnenen de restaurant en de website vanaf november 2022 dus voordat de review van ouder restaurant is dus aub leer met eigen verstand !!!

Heerlijk gegeten bij dit nieuwe Thaise restaurant. Een aanwinst voor Hindeloopen . De smaken zijn heerlijk origineel Thais. De gastvrouw is zeer vriendelijk en werkt heel hard. Kortom geweldig.

Heerlijke thaise soep, volgende dag direct weer gehaald. Wat het ècht afmaakt is de gastvrouw. Wat een gastvrije, vriendelijke en hardwerkende vrouw. Top locatie ! ☀️

Afgelopen weekend super lekker Thais gegeten bij Sjaak en Pa. Wij komen zeker terug! En je wordt altijd goed bediend door Hilda, het is een aanwinst voor Hindeloopen.

Haiven heet nu THAIVEN. Wat een fantastisch eten. Sinds een paar maanden hier genieten van de beste echte Thaise keuken. In een woord. GEWELDIG

Eten was perfect, daar kom je uiteindelijk voor. De ruimte is nog wat kaal, kan iets meer in stemming. De bediening maakte nog wat foutjes, maar al met al, zeker een aanrader en wij gaan er zeker nog vaker eten.

Als Hühnchenfanatiker ist es schwer mich zu beeindrucken, dieses Restaurant hat es geschafft. Die Preise sind echt in Ordnung und vor allem die Bedienung ist so eine freundliche und herzensgute Frau. Der Superburger und das Kipsaté sind sehr zu empfehlen
