Never buying from this place again. The meat is not fresh.* I bought a Turkish pizza, and as soon as I got home and opened it, the smell was awful – I felt like throwing up. I went back to the store to ask for the manager’s contact, but the lady suddenly stopped understanding any language and just gave me another Turkish pizza. I tried the second one, and the meat was just as old. I truly hope the people who bought after me don’t get sick. Very unprofessional and unsafe.

Ridiculous portion size, overpriced, unfriendly staff, salad that tastes like it's been sitting on the counter for three days...

The staff is very unfriendly and even seems quite depressed. Some of the meat from the kapsalon smelled and tasted spoiled, so I immediately spit it out. I did eat the fries, which were well-cooked. I ate here once a few years ago and had a good experience then, but after this bad one, I don't expect to eat there again.

I've been to this snack bar several times now, but not because I'm a fan; it's simply the only option at this location. Unfortunately, I have to say that my experiences are always disappointing. The staff are often rude and don't seem to do their work very carefully. The hygiene is also poor. There's always something wrong: once I received fries that were literally swimming in salt (I should have thrown them away immediately), another time I received the wrong order, which was also inedible. And today, June 1, 2025, at 4:10 PM, I received fries that clearly hadn't even been deep-fried. Unbelievable! NEVER again here.

The woman behind the counter clearly had other plans. First, a cigarette. Then, for twenty minutes, a slow ballet of stacking fries, picking salad, and soul-searching, all in slow motion, as if time stood still only for her. Magical. For €8.55, I got: ✔️ a mini kapsalon, ✔️ a free nicotine topping (from her fingers directly onto my food), ✔️ and the grand prize: a full-body detox that spontaneously announced itself 40 minutes later with a stomach rumbling from hell. I've never eaten a meal that felt so warm yet so relentlessly ripped through my guts like an angry expedition from the devil himself. The kapsalon wasn't spicy, but my gut thought it was. A culinary air raid siren. A three-act intestinal war. And then the aftermath: sitting on public transport with sweat on your forehead, your glutes in conclave. Every bump felt like Russian roulette. And yet… 2 stars. Because: ✅ Beautiful historic building. ✅ I'm still alive.

A 7.50 Turkish pizza comes with free food poisoning. I've never been so sick after eating something.

Yesterday, I waited 10-15 minutes for an employee to arrive, but there was no one there, even though the place was open (around 2:00 PM). When I finally walked outside, I saw the employee standing outside the station, smoking and busy on his phone. Since I had to wait for my mother's train to arrive, I was able to observe the employee for a while. He stayed outside for a while and was clearly more motivated to smoke, text, and sunbathe than to work. It's astonishing that employees get away with this kind of behavior!

Very nice guy, possibly FTM. After eating two Turkish pizzas, I shit all over the train car, so no ticket check was done. 👍👍👍

Placed an order here and didn't receive half of it. I ordered two menus, both of which were completely cold. A pair of fries was missing from the order, and the fries we received were also completely cold and limp. The wrong drinks were delivered. I paid €30 for two cold sandwiches and one pair of fries. I'll never order from here again, and I hope the readers won't either.

Worst döner of my life! I should've read the other reviews before going here, I'm afraid to get food poisoning now :/ I was served by a grumpy looking, uninterested employee and got a cold flavorless döner sandwich with barely any meat. Despite seeing him handle the sauce bottle I'd swear there's none in there.

Just treated childishly by the young man. Let a customer who comes after me act very bland; slow things down by, for example, putting 4 buttons in the plastic bag. If you don't like the work then go do something else with your life...if you read this. Do something you enjoy and always remain professional.

On the way back to work, where I actively contribute to furnishing the entire IJmond region, I thought I could quickly get the pearl of Istanbul at Haarlem Station: a Turkish pizza. It was already a very sad day with the rain, hail and all kinds of other crap from heaven, so a Turkish pizza was welcome. On the train to Biffawoekkoe, which is already a sad affair, things only got worse when I took a bite of my Turkish pizza. He wasn't rolled up tightly in his aluminum jacket, but I could tell that he looked like a crumpled diaper. What really annoyed me, so much so that I regretted getting on the train instead of in front of it, was that the ice crystals were on my pizza. I don't know if the durum itself was frozen or if the iceberg lettuce was scraped from the same iceberg that killed the Titanic. I didn't feel like doing forensic research to find out, so I threw that pizza off the train. Fast service! That pizza was ready very quickly.

I've been here before, not because I love them just because this is the only snack bar here. All employees here are rude, they don't do their job well, they are dirty. Every time I order here there is always something, one time fries completely full of salt (I had to throw them away), second wrong order given to me (was also rancid🤢) and today 01-11-2024 at 12:10 fries that didn't even go into the deep fryer 🤬🤬 NEVER 👎

Normally I enjoy getting my food taken away from here, but today (September 16, 2024, at 5:00 PM) was the low point for me. Not only was the employee disinterested, so I didn't get any napkins or fork, for example, but the most disturbing thing was his behavior around my order. He seemed to be interacting with my food in a strange way, so I checked everything at home to see if anything had been done with it (he spent a very long time with the container at the bottom of the refrigerator). In addition, my hair salon (large) was only half full and there were cold fries in it. I also saw this disinterested behavior in the two customers in front of me. This was the reason for me not to come back here.

The man working there was unfriendly, he didn't even let me choose a drink and wanted to pay very quickly.

The manager here is a scammer. I gave him 50 euros to pay. He waited a remarkably long time to give me my change, only after he had made the entire sandwich, waiting for it to be toasted.. Then the gentleman pretends I paid with 20 euros. I had to talk for several minutes and threaten the police before he suddenly relented and gave me the extra 30 euros back. Bizarre experience and he does this so shrewdly and practiced that it is clear that he does this more often.

Nothing here is good. I got a sandwich here and I got food poisoning. I have filed a complaint. Still waiting for an answer...

Their doner kebabs are very fresh and delicious. Friendly and fast service.

On Sundays it's open from 10am according to Google, now I'm here at 11:12am still closed, the guy is inside playing with his phone

I sometimes get a broodje kalfsvlees here. the service is nice, they do what you ask (e.g. I always want more veggies than meet). The only thing that they can improve in is the sauce.... they first add the meet in the bread, then the sauce and then the veggies. but then you take a bite and the sauce is not separated all over the bread.

+1 for Jesper, this took so long that even the NS had their train problems resolved before my hair salon was ready. The atmosphere was great and flags were handed out for the long wait!

Everything went super slow. The lady walked backwards rather than forwards. There was no mention of multitasking. Orders were processed one by one. The lady also waits for every order until it comes out of the oven. Also cold fries

Een kleine zaak met twee tafeltjes om aan te zitten, gezellig is anders, maar voor de gezelligheid moet je hier natuurlijk ook niet komen. De doner smaakt zoals bij alle andere vestigingen dus eigenlijk is een recensie vrij nutteloos.

Vriendelijk personeel en lekker goedkoop eten. Ik heb zelf net een frietje met sambal gehaald voor alleen €2,50! En het was best veel friet ook. Ik ga hier waarschijnlijk vaker komen

Broodjes Donner kip was heerlijk, patat heel matig (bij thuiskomst)

Lekkere durum doner, zou alleen die patat niet nemen als ik de foto zie.

Great Turkish food, always tasty!

Lekkere, sappige döner, vriendelijk personeel. Even goed als zijn tegenhanger aan de andere kant van het station.

Produkten zijn op zich prima maar de boel komt erg onhygienisch over. De medewerker hanteerd met blote handen geld en voedsel door elkaar heen. Ik haal hier niks meer tot dit verbeterd is.

Doner, goed te doen, maar niet om over naar huis te schrijven...

Located at the centre of the station, you cannot miss it. Being located at such a convenient spot, you can smell the food walking through the station (which comes down to the food selling itself).

Een döner menu genomen, maar was niet lekker. Oke, het is een snelle hap, maar ik had er toch iets meer van verwacht. Patat was niet krokant en had nog iets langer in de frituur gemogen. De mayonaise was zo'n soort supermarkt mayonaise.

Het eten is zo lekker, medewerkers zijn klamlnt vriendelijke en je word snel geholpen.

Decent food, but truly evil in the sense that their cooking fumes vent onto the station stairwell- making you SUPER hungry as you are heading home- tempting you to forego cooking for their wickedly greasy bites :)
