An Indonesian restaurant serving halal meals. Same concept as the Indonesian restaurants we have in Saudi Arabia… many dishes and you choose the items.

I don't understand how some people can give this place a bad review. I've been coming here since they opened. And the food is incredibly delicious for a very affordable price. For 15 euros, you get a full container with two types of meat, two types of vegetables, a spicy egg, and two satays. The service is also what I expect from a takeout location. Sometimes there's someone completely new who hasn't seen me before, and I'm treated just as politely as by the staff who do know me. They don't usually provide sambal, prawn crackers, or cucumber. You have to order all those things separately. But in my experience, most takeout places charge for them. Pepper is just expensive. Out of the 50 or so times I've eaten there, I've had Balado twice that was tough. Maybe old or reheated too often. I think it's a dish that isn't ordered very often. That's a shame in itself. But I consider two bad, and only one dish acceptable out of all the times I've eaten there. I can understand that if someone comes there for the first time and that happens to them, they might be more disappointed.

Ordered for delivery, and canceled for no reason. After a long time!! Done with it, it's not the first time.

I'm a big fan of the vegan nasi rames here! It's top-notch and the portions are huge.

Well... rude staff, the food is dumped in a container like animal feed. It used to be fresher and tastier. We miss the Indonesian touch.

It's very affordable, but the service was terrible today. The lady was on her phone while I was waiting to order. She spoke and looked completely disinterested. There are also no signs, so I couldn't exactly tell her what I wanted. The lady snapped at me with, "I can't see what you're pointing at!" I live a three-minute walk away, but the food wasn't hot even though I asked for it. The menu also says they have Gado Gado, but they almost never have it. Such a shame.

Great Indonesian Deli with good food for little money for Amsterdam standards. You can choose a variety of menus (meat, vegetarian, vegan). I had the vegetarian one and then you choose a base two sides and a protein source like tofu or tempeh, plus you get an egg on top. It pack it in a small plastic container and it ends up being a full plate at home. All of that for less than 10€. I also had a Roti for another 2€ which was a great addition. Would be great to have some labels on the food to what it is. The staff is kind, the place could have some more character, it looks a bit bland whereas the food is not at all. Can recommend!

Nice food, worse service. Order placed hours ago, only now notified of cancellation. Not so neat.

Used to order here but they seem to have gotten lazy with the food. Everything is thrown together while before everything was seperated. Me and my spouse both got belly ache from the food. Never again!!!!

Tasty and cheap (compared to average prices in Amsterdam)

Every time old lady serves she puts really little chicken or meat. For 8 euros I got 3 small pieces and rest is full of rice. The price is crazy expensive for the amount of chicken you get. You eat a plate of rice with 30 gr chicken for 7.75

The food has deteriorated sharply compared to a few years ago. People freeze a lot. Nasi and rendang are bone dry. Nowadays you have to pay extra for beef if you choose a type of meat. Everything is no longer freshly prepared as before. Literally you have to pay extra for everything, which seems sad/sharp. The peanut sauce on the GadoGado was floury wallpaper paste texture and tasteless. In this small shop there are no fewer than 5 cameras that clearly keep an eye on the staff and that is also sad.

Echt authentiek Indisch eten, geen 8 soorten 1 smaak. Alles is bereid met eigen boemboes en smaakt zoals het is bedoeld . De toko is klein, maar de keuze is reuze en zo ook de mogelijkheden tot combineren, de produkten groots,en de porties zijn ruim. Heel goed, never change a winning team, echt een aanwinst op culinair gebied in Oost, teri ma kassi banjak!

Eigenaren zijn ontzettend vriendelijk en het eten is verrukkelijk!!

Normaal heel lekker maar echt te weinig tofu en tempeh in verhouding dit keer. Heel jammer dat je moet opletten of het wel redelijk is wat je krijgt.

Heerlijke indo, nasi rames is top, maar wat gaan ze achterlijk vroeg dicht.

Unbedingt probieren! Haben viele der kleinen Schnellrestaurants in der Straße probiert. Hier waren wir zweimal. Mega lecker und Preis-Leistung stimmen!

Vriendelijke bediening. Zowel kip als rund waren gortdroog. Tweede keer nu helaas.. overige eten wel lekker.

Stiekem heel erg goed, veel beter dan de concurent in de buurt 😉 Probeer maar eens, Soto met lonton, en nasi rames met rendang en urab.

One of the best Indonesian food in the city.

Matig. Het eten is niet goed opgewarmd en zelfs koud. De bami smaakt vlak, de kip is okay, maar niet super lekker en de porties zijn klein. Vergeleken met de vijf sterren voor Warung Padi op de Aalsmeerweg is dit twee sterren.

Vriendelijke bediening, lekker eten en zachte prijsjes. Zeker in verhouding tot de porties. En de zoet en pittige kip is echt een aanrader. Ze zouden alleen tot iets later op de avond open mogen zijn als het aan mij ligt.

Zeker erg lekker eten! Voor een super prijs, persoonlijk vind ik het erg fijn dat je de rames helemaal zelf kan samenstellen. Het enige nadeel vind ik wel dat je niet precies weet wat alles is (er staan geen namen bij) dus je wijst de dingen aan die je lekker lijken. Wat wij hadden gekozen was gelukkig erg lekker!

Je kan kiezen tussen rijst, bami en mihoen. En daarnaast kies je uit een stuk of 8 groente gerechtjes. En een stuk of 6 vlees of kip. Het geheel is goed op smaak, en niet duur. Alleen de kipsate vond ik een beetje flauw dat kan beter
