Small shop with delicious food!

I make it a point to try out every Indonesian food place in Amsterdam and this is the best one (i only eat vegan though). Especially the eggplant is delicious. Only thing is that sometimes you get really small portions and it already is more expensive than most other places (for pre prepared food )

Absolutely phenomenal food... A true must-have experience for any Asian cuisine lover.

Small portions compared to the price. Lots of rice but very little side dish with the rames Bamboe. Certainly not fresh.

Nice service. But clearly not a passionate Indonesian chef himself. Inside it looks like a messy utility room of a Vinex house in 1989. Food was not freshly prepared. Vegetable dishes to taste, but with too much liquid placed on top of the rice. Which gave everything the same taste. Spicy chicken was fine. Biggest disappointment was the rendang. Not cooked long enough, so tough. And no nice pieces of meat. Some pieces still had the tough veins in them like weak straws... the telor was briefly placed in the sambal container in the display case and then placed in a Tupperware container All in all, substandard food for too much money. Maybe they are good at something else

Got a horrible bowl of nasi rames that had turned into a bag of soup at home. Really dirty.

First my vegetables were sour. I called to confirm this and was told that I would be called back, but I am still waiting....it has now been 3 days. Secondly, all dishes are sweet, one dominates the other. Sugar bomb. Will never order from here again

Het lekkerste indonesische restaurant in Amsterdam wat mij betreft! Super lieve bediening en erg goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. De aubergine is echt een aanrader!

I’ve been to many Indonesian restaurants and this is by far the best one in Amsterdam.

Very firendly staff and overall a 5 star experience in terms of food quality & value. Can compete with places that are 3-4x more expensive if they spend some money on marketing/interior as it doesn't look appealing from any angle ;) Greets from Vienna

Het eten was super lekker en de bediening was heel attent! De porties zijn groot, ik kreeg m’n bord niet leeg haha Wat er overgebleven is heb ik mee naar huis genomen! Aanrader :)

Lekkere rijsttafel en vriendelijk personeel (kok) De Terong Blado was heerlijk, evenals de pittige kip. Tip: kook wat extra rijst, want de basismaaltijd is relatief weinig tov de vele gerechten. Terima kasih

Allerbeste van de stad geen discussie

Perfect na bijvoorbeeld een drukke dag op kantoor. Het eten is zo goed, op traditionele manier bereid, ruime keuze en ook zeer vriendelijk. Ruime vega opties en vertellen graag wat er goed bij elkaar past. Ik blijf zeker komen.

Heerlijk eten voor een goede prijs!

I think it is vey authentic Indonesian food in this neighborhood. Their food is pre-made thought. Which mean, they already cook everything before hand. After you order, they will put your food in the microwave. It was a little bit weird to me but the food was really good so I don’t care now lol. Even the smallest meal for me is a lot. So a big portion of food here. The employees here are very friendly. Will definitely re-visit again for sure.

Lekker eten, vriendelijk geholpen

Altijd heerlijk Indonesisch eten voor een heel zachte prijs. Personeel ook heel vriendelijk.

Altijd lekker en betaalbaar eten en je hebt lekkerlijk binnen minuten een warm bakje eten. Als je van Indonesische afhaal houdt, dan kun je hier prima terecht!

Lekker maar erg kleine portie (via thuisbezorgd besteld) Mini stukje markreel, 2 schepjes groente en halve bakje gevuld met rijst.

Kleine familiezaak die het moet hebben van de kwaliteit ipv kwantiteit ! Lekkere verse gerechten, diverse soorten rijst en redelijk geprijst. Een gemiddelde rames menu vult best wel redelijk alhoewel sommige toko's meer geven maar dat is iets persoonlijk. Aanrader in Amsterdam!

Very good Indonesian selection. Personally I like to take a base menu and boost it with extra things and get two solid and varied meals from one order. They also have legit gado-gado, tahoe/tempeh, and many cakes, fried pies, rolls, bananas etc.

Lekker gegeten gerechtjes zelf uitgezocht dus geen menu gekozen . Goed gekruid alles vers. Voor 2 personen 12 euro. Dus zeer betaalbaar.

Meal contained 85% rice. Very overpriced....

Rini kookt goed, heel goed. Maar soms kookt er opeens iemand anders. En dan smaakt het opeens anders. Bij sommige toko’s krijg je zoveel eten dat je niet meer weet waar je het moet laten. Rini zal je dat nooit aandoen. ;)
