Awful, the food was microwaved upon order and the roti was dry. It was €19 too much. They don't deserve a 4.3.

Honestly, I could make this more authentic at home. It’s a buffet and they microwave the food in plastic and then give it to you.

Food, service, and atmosphere have gone downhill! The self-service kiosk detracts from the service and atmosphere, and the food wasn't heated up properly; on top of that, the prices have gone up! 😳 What a shame! Thanks for your response! The guy behind the counter was the friendliest host ever. I normally don’t write reviews but this was such an exemption! He gave us a great suggestion on what to order and had a great conversation. First time here, but next time I’m in the area and I’m hungry I will definitely come here again!! No doubt about it😬 Big shoutout and would honestly recommend. Thanks for the amazing food

Delicious food and friendly service at Tokoman. It's a convenient takeout spot, and the food was definitely good. Unfortunately, they forgot to include a fork, and I was disappointed that you have to pay €0.50 for a fork. I've never experienced that before; cutlery is usually included automatically with your order. Still, the food itself was very tasty.

Master tent ❤️ There's only one thing I eat there: the best Pom in Amsterdam, and almost every Sunday. One thing I do have is that, regarding the staff, some don't know the full menu name or contents. But I'll go back next Sunday and see if it's changed, and then I'll post the rest of my review, because today's €11 Pom dish, including vegetables, was lighter than ever and for the same price. Best price quality in ams and nieuwmarkt!!

Dinner at a decent price, which can be hard to find in the heart of Amazon. Got a roti roll and a wok box with noodles and some beef and veggies. It's all premade and heated to order so it's quite quick. Would prefer something hot and not reheated but it's tasty, quick, filling and cheap. I'd come back if I needed something similar in future.

An institution in the Red Light District. Everyone who lives or works in the Red Light District has been there at least once. Fair prices, good service, and secretly the best Pom sandwich in Amsterdam. The wok box is an unbeatable deal in a neighborhood where everything is constantly getting more expensive.

Good food but I saw her use her bare hand to take money, and use the same hand to hold bread and make peoples sandwiches. That’s so dirty they need to wear gloves and change them after hand money.

Tokoman is THE MAN! I was looking for some food with Surinamese influence, but not such a huge portion. The wok bowl is a perfect match for this. Plus, Tokoman is great to work with. Super cool, easy to get along with, the service is fast, and I really liked the food. Keep on being you Tokoman!

Awesome service and incredibly delicious food

During my sightseeing tour of 020, I bought some snacks here to eat right away. Heating them up was no problem. The spring rolls and the rest were delicious! The food display also looked good and well-maintained. So, good job!

We stumbled upon it because our hotel was around the corner. The sandwiches and ingredients are fresh. I had the shrimp and long bean sandwich and the roti roll. Both were very good.

Varies. The first time, the lemper was good! The second time, it was bone dry. Old? Then it was fine. Then it was questionable again. I'm not going anymore. It fluctuates too much!

It was my first time trying Surinamese food, and it was very delicious. The pork was a bit dry, but overall I was very satisfied, and the price was quite reasonable, so I highly recommend!

Extremely nice food for a very decent price, which is something difficult to find in such a popular place. There´s many different options, you select whatever you like on a self-service totem (don´t forget to add your fork), wait a couple of minutes and get your food. You can either munch it on the walk or sit down in any of the beautiful corners this city has to offer.

Delicious, fast, and cheap takeaway. There are plenty of gluten-free options. If you don't have a dinner reservation, go here and eat like a king.

Nice selection of dishes to choose from in a box. Even some vegetarian options. The food was definitely delicious, but the counter girls weren't the nicest. Maybe we caught them on a bad day. I don't know. But they served the food properly but there was no friendliness in the air. It takes a long time to line up and pay. But, if we're in the area again, we'll probably go there again regardless.

If you really want to eat well for a good price, go for a BBQ chicken sandwich or satay... Really delicious!! The sandwich is nice and soft and the chicken is tasty and not dry!! Finger-licking good!!

We were treated assossially for the 2nd time. Two-person staff, no customers in the store, but you are still kindly requested to order from an ordering machine. She would personally help in cash, but that is not an option either. Especially older blonde woman very unfriendly. As a result, we left the business without ordering food.

The Bao is very nice. We have been there multiple days to try different Snacks of their menu. Overall this place seems to be very popular and people chose all kinds of dishes in the Shop. We went there for Bao. Order Terminals in 3 different languages makes it easy to order. We recommand.

This is a nice takeaway only spot that has quite a variety of dishes ready to go. You order on a digital screen, and you can get the food hot if you want to eat it right away. I had some kind of Indonesian sandwich and some fried thing that looked good. Both were tasty and a pretty good value.

It's a place with tasty and cheap food, if you want something quick to eat while walking around the city it's perfect. The portions are big enough.

One of few spots in central Amsterdam I often and gladly come back to. Great for a quick, delicious, and affordable takeout lunch / dinner. I love the wok boxes, especially with rice and java chicken.

We saw this place when we were wandering around in Chinatown. We didn't buy anything then but we knew that we were going to go back at someone and today was the day. We ordered a Chicken Roti Roll (filled with curry chicken, curry potato and garter beans) and then a Chicken Pie. One of the better Chicken Roti Rolls I've had. It is nice that they have digital kiosks to order, makes things much easier. Also they can warm up your food if you want to eat it right away. Nice establishment and would go again.

As always, we had a delicious sandwich and were helped by friendly staff. This store is really one of the best!

Kite! We came across this by chance and I don't regret it at all. The food is sublime! I took a wok to go and they filled it so much that I couldn't eat it all. The food is well seasoned and well prepared, no matter what you choose. The staff is also super friendly and polite. I will visit there many more times when I spend a day in Amsterdam.
