Tony's Street Food in Wijk 05 De Oevers

I ordered a mozzarella sandwich online, among other things, and received this… I had ordered this once before and it looked good then, but what is this supposed to be?? Unfortunately, it really wasn't tasty either. I contacted the branch because I initially thought it was the wrong sandwich. I was told in an unfriendly tone that it was the correct one. Ordering here is not something I would repeat 😅

I ordered food and it was supposed to be there at 12:15, but then it arrived half an hour late. I ordered two Farmer chicken burgers and one Turkish pizza with cheese. First of all, the chicken burger wasn't at all like the picture. I expected a chicken burger with a potato underneath, like in the picture. For €8.50, you can expect something, but don't expect much because I got a soft bun with a few shreds of lettuce, a chicken burger that was half cold, and meager sauce on it. You're better off going to McDonald's than ordering here; you'll still get your money's worth. The Turkish pizza was also half cold; there wasn't even any cheese on it, just lettuce and a soggy wrap. For €6.95, I thought this was a real disgrace. I should have eaten at McDonald's because then you feel like you're getting your money's worth compared to this messed-up place.

Excellent satay menu. Beautifully presented and very tasty. Highly recommended. There is also a choice of 2, 3, or 4 skewers, so there is always enough for everyone.

We had been to Kita a few times before and went back specifically for the unlimited prawns this time. In the end, the two of us spent €215. So we certainly didn't come for the cheapest possible evening, but we did feel that we were being treated differently because we had chosen the unlimited menu. We had to wait a very long time between the different rounds, which made it feel at one point as if we were being discouraged from ordering more prawns. Additionally, I made a mistake ordering my drink upon arrival. I wanted a glass of bubbly, but accidentally chose a bubbly cocktail. When it arrived at the table, I immediately pointed out that I had ordered the wrong drink. The response was that otherwise the drink would be "thrown in the trash." The drink was not taken back or resolved in any other way, but remained fully on the bill. Of course, I understand that the mistake was mine. Therefore, it is not about the fact that I had to pay for the drink, but mainly about the way it was handled. For €215 for two people, I expect above all a welcoming and pleasant evening. Unfortunately, this time it felt like we were treated less like guests because we had chosen the unlimited package. Precisely because we had enjoyed being here several times before, I find that particularly disappointing. And they won't be seeing us there again!!!
