We ordered two pizzas, one four-cheese and one tuna, and they were both delicious. The crust and toppings were amazing. Plus, the owner is very friendly, and we loved our meal there. If you're looking for an Italian restaurant, this is the place for you.

We ate here with a large group a few weeks ago. This was no problem. The food arrived quickly and it was delicious! The Da Damiano house pizza is especially recommended (:

We arrived in Amsterdam late from our flight and we were after something quick but delicious to eat. We fancied some pizza and decided to come here. Best decision ever! We were well greated by Ratna who provided fantastic service from start to finish, we had pizza and credit to the chef, the pizza and calzone was absolutely delicious! Thank you for accommodating us in such late notice!

Sometimes you walk into a restaurant and after just two minutes you know: this is the right place. At Restaurant Dardiano in Amsterdam, that is exactly what happened. The host welcomes you as if you were a long-lost family member finally coming to eat again. Not a standard "good evening," but the kind of welcome where you almost expect an Italian grandma to walk out of the kitchen somewhere to grab your cheek and ask if you’ve had enough to eat. The food? Authentic Italian. No frills, no culinary acrobatics with foams and pipettes — just really good food. Dishes that leave you speechless for a moment after the first bite, because your brain has to process the fact that simple and perfect are sometimes the same thing. And meanwhile, that host walks around as if he is personally responsible for the happiness of everyone in the restaurant. Refilling water, cracking a joke, just checking if everything tastes good — the kind of service that makes you spontaneously want to celebrate your next birthday there, even though your birthday isn't until April. In short: We had a delicious meal, laughed a lot, and had an evening that feels exactly how a night out for dinner should feel. Dardiano is one of those places where you come back not just for the food, but also a little bit for the host. We will definitely be back. (And probably with an extra appetite.)

A cozy place run by friendly and warm people who will always make you feel welcome. The traditional Italian dishes are clearly made with care, and served with warmth. As a vegetarian I can always find a great dish, whether it’s a vegetarian lasagna, a mushroom truffle tagliatelle, a canneloni or one of the vegetarian pizza’s they offer. Absolutely a recommendation, go find out for yourself!
