Great little place, excellent pizzas and very good value for money

Aside for the fabulous food (everything was delicious, make sure not to miss the great VIttelo tonnato) tonthe servive is great, warm Italian atmosphere

We had a nice dinner. The food was good - just simple and tasty. The staff is always super friendly. It was quite busy, so we had to wait a while to be served, but overall it was a good experience.

A cozy place run by friendly and warm people who will always make you feel welcome. The traditional Italian dishes are clearly made with care, and served with warmth. As a vegetarian I can always find a great dish, whether it’s a vegetarian lasagna, a mushroom truffle tagliatelle, a canneloni or one of the vegetarian pizza’s they offer. Absolutely a recommendation, go find out for yourself!

We came here looking at the high rating but it turned out to be an average tourist restaurant. The staff was very attentive and service was nice but taste was missing and the portions were small.

I am surprised at the positive reviews, I have certainly never been to Italy. Simply not a good Italian and certainly not authentic. Wine is undrinkable and the pizzas are not tasty. There are much better places to eat real Italian pizza in the city.

It’s the best place !! Cozy warm atmosphere and great people. If you look for a casual dinner or a intimate date. That’s how I started to come here and after 3 years we still come by!

The Sicilian Fari! The harassment that Mr. Ferdinando exerts on his female clientele is shameful. My friends felt tremendously uncomfortable as soon as they entered with the cheeky glances that went too low, and then with the physical closeness (touching shoulders and back) added to the overconfidence of this man who had a terribly sexist attitude. The food was quite expensive for the quality, but without a doubt the worst was the service. We believed these types of gentlemen were already extinct.

Evita si eres mujer. Muy incómoda experiencia gastronómica. El propietario vino y se presentó y luego procedió a hacer comentarios inapropiados e indeseables a mí y a mi amigo. Seguía volviendo a la mesa para comentar sobre gustar las mujeres británicas etc etc. Qué bien nos veíamos, etc. Completamente no solicitado. Lo que debería haber sido una agradable comida relajante se convirtió en una cena incómoda / incómoda. Sentí que habíamos vuelto a los años 70.

Staying in Amsterdam for a few days and had been looking for a local pizzeria. Couldn't get in some of the other local places in the area and found this gem! The owner was lovely and from Sicily and welcomed us as we arrived which was lovely. The setting perfect and a massive pizza clay oven in the back, Which only means one thing freshly made pizza. After ordering the owner brought us some house red wine which was one of his favourites from his country. It was lovely!! We ordered 2 pizzas and they tasted amazing. The waitress also brought us some spicy oil which went really well with the food! Music was ambiant too! Highly recommend you stop here if you're in the neighbourhood.

I ordered a lasagna. Its quite average, but there is almost no meat. If i wanted a vegeterian i would choose it.

What a surprise. Spontaneously we went out for dinner and it was very nice. You feel like you're in Italy because of the ambiance, but certainly also because of the food! Wonderful wine, delicious food. In short, bellissimo

If you are a tourist watch out for this place. Placed our order and asked for table water as we saw the locals next to us have a jug of table water. Waitress comes out with big bottle of water that we would be charged for and when we said how come we can’t get a jug of water like the table next to us she tried to make up an excuse on the spot stumbling saying oh they ordered something else beforehand, even though our order included a pizza and pasta dish. She proceeded to open the bottle water and she said it’s too late she’s already opened it. I just felt a bit targeted or taken advantage of as a tourist as not many people would probably pick up or notice that. We ended up leaving as we didn’t feel welcomed and will go to one of the many beautiful restaurants we have visited in this area that do not act like this. Happy to pay for bottled water if this is the only option available but was more the principle of the situation that we couldn’t have table water even though the locals next to us could!
