Today I ate at Sorridi for the umpteenth time. Delicious sandwiches, clean, and besides the pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff, the service was also top-notch. Thanks.

The food was absolutely delicious! The sandwiches are freshly made and taste wonderful. The owner is super friendly and makes you feel instantly welcome. If I could give it 10 stars, I definitely would. Highly recommended!

(5) Wanted to order a few pizzas here. It turned out that Sorridi's boss wasn't there and had an old woman there. The woman didn't know how to make pizzas or make sandwiches. You could only get coffee, tea, or drinks. Smoothies and milkshakes weren't available either. She did make sandwiches, but they were just bread from the bakery with toppings. One star off, I have to be strict. ========= (4) Got a smoothie here as a team. Sorridi's boss still isn't working efficiently. But since we weren't in a hurry, we waited a bit. The service was friendly. The star rating remained unchanged, even though the smoothie was delicious! ================ (3) Ate here again as a team. Sorridi's boss is a bit vague about where his meat comes from. Unfortunately, one of the team members got sick after eating the meat. There were also a lot of flies in the store (due to the heat?). Delicious Italian drinks, both still and sparkling. The service, food, atmosphere, and overall score were downgraded to 3 stars. If you call 2 hours in advance to pick up an order in 2 hours, you expect it to be ready. You don't want to have to wait another hour (so a total of 3) for your order to be made. That's a shame. But the other sandwiches, etc., are delicious! ========== (2) We've been eating here with a smaller group for the past few weeks after getting acquainted as a team. The second time, there was no room to sit in the store, so we were forced to take the sandwiches with us. By the way, the sandwiches were delicious. My group tried a different shake: Tropicana (mango orange) and Sorridi Special (mango, fig, pineapple, and orange). The orange isn't fresh; it's from the bottle that's already bottled at Albert Heijn. The rest can be fresh. The orange is a bit overpowering with its sour taste. I now know I'll only order certain smoothies that don't have an orange base. Tuna and mozzarella sandwich. My group loved it, and so did I. Despite the above, I'm sticking with the 4 stars! ========== (1) Came here for dinner on the recommendation of colleagues. We ate here as a team and had a few drinks. Interesting menu. Somehow, everything you read about it is delicious. The owner (I think) was also nice and a good cook. He said he likes to surprise his customers. You can see that in the price. Everything is pricey, but delicious. He had a plate of warm rolls (chicken, lamb, Italian ham?, vegetarian, fish, tuna salad) cut into pieces and served. It also came with a delicious salad. I quickly grabbed the vegetarian rolls because the owner kind of dodged the question when I asked if they were halal, and he was right. We enjoyed it. The drinks were also good. There are various smoothies, and some are just milkshakes (like the Pistachio and the Chocolatio). Nice place, friendly staff who are helpful, and the breads are delicious. Pricey, though. So if you come here often make sure you have a healthy cash buffer to pay.

Delicious pizzas and best sandwiches

Ordered Macciato and canelonni pistachio. The taste of the coffee was very good and the canelonni tasted artisanal and exactly how it should be. Huge asset to the square.

Bad experience, unfortunately not recommended. After waiting for more than an hour for my order of three pizzas, I was surprised to receive the wrong pizza. Unfortunately, that was only the beginning of the disappointment. The base of the pizza was barely 20% baked, how that is possible in a stone oven is a mystery to me. The pizza seemed to be soaked in tomato sauce, which literally made all the cheese slide off. In addition, so much cheese was used that it almost felt American, while according to the menu this should be a traditional Italian pizza. The communication was also not smooth: the person behind the counter was barely audible and seemed uninterested, which may explain why we received the wrong order in the first place. After all this, I also had to wait about 8 minutes to be allowed to pay. All in all a very disappointing experience. This is honestly the worst pizzeria I have ever ordered from, except maybe that one place in Rome that gave me a pizza with fries and gorgonzola. But that says enough.

Had a delicious pizza here before a theatre performance. Crispy base and richly topped. Very friendly staff. Recommended!

Delicious food and fast/friendly service!

I had the pizza salami from Sorridi and it was really great. The base was nice and thin and crispy, baked just right. The salami had a good taste, not too spicy but nice and hearty. And the cheese and sauce were also perfectly balanced. Really a pizza that makes you happy.

Had to be at Osdorpplein (Amsterdam) recently and I happened to walk past this place and what struck me was that everyone there was enjoying delicious dishes. Then I went inside and ordered a pastrami sandwich and I did not regret it. In fact, I am now looking for all kinds of reasons to go to Osdorpplein from The Hague. The drive is completely worth it. On the terrace you imagine yourself in Italy as soon as you sink your teeth into the sandwich. No students or unmotivated people here who throw something together, but just a Chef who passionately prepares delicious dishes. This is a top place that you will not quickly find elsewhere. Salem alaykoum; I was on vacation in Amsterdam and I wanted to eat Italian food. I searched the internet and came across this restaurant, which I don't regret at all, and it's HALAL 👍 He recommended two pasta dishes that were super good, and he offered me the cannoli. I recommend Le Tunisien 👍

I had heard a number of positive things about this business. This made me quite curious and I wanted to try it myself. I called them initially but I didn't get an answer, which I can understand because sometimes you are simply busy. Then I decided to go anyway. It took me more than an hour to get there. And then the entire store was closed. Lights out, chairs on the table, no food in the fridge. There were a lot of people in front of the door with the same disappointment as us. Because it clearly said online that they were open. Very unfortunate and unprofessional!

Great place. We came here on a Saturday evening after a fair here, a bit towards the end. The owner suggested that he would make different things for us, which we thought was fine and then we could share with each other and taste different things. Totally fine and it was so delicious, we really had a lot of different dishes, ravioli, burrata, pizza, meat stew, everything was really sooooo delicious!!! delicious. We were completely full. The service of the owner and chef was also really great. I thought it was great that he provided us with such really delicious food. they use really authentic Italian brands, you can also tell by the drinks you can choose from, the juices and ice cream. at the end we all got such a delicious chocolate! TOP TOP TOP! I recommend everyone to come here.

Very friendly manager. Chairs were comfortable. The food was good. I just wouldn't call it a restaurant because it was very small. You also had to keep your jacket on because the door was open and it was quite cold. For a cozy dinner, I'd look for something else, but for a quick meal, it's perfectly fine.

It took a while but then....wow, what a super delicious sandwich I ate here! Fresh ingredients, tallegio cheese, delicious.

I just got a Pollo Piccante sandwich at Soridi and wow, this is really not just any grilled sausage sandwich. The grilled sausage is deliciously seasoned, full of flavor. The sandwich is super well filled, you can just tell that attention is paid to it. And what I really like, the bread is fresh, soft and you can see that it is homemade. You can taste that right away. I also had potato slices with it. They are lightly seasoned, but just right, you can still really taste the potato, and the combination of herbs makes it complete. Super tasty. The gentleman who helped me was very friendly, and despite the fact that he was alone, everything went quickly. Everything tasted great. You can tell from everything that quality is delivered. The sandwich is well filled and for what you get the price is really more than fair. For me a big 10. I will definitely come back!

Pizza didn't taste good, 4 different pizzas and all 4 looked the same, except for 1 ingredient difference. Service was not good, we were served our food and had to guess which pizza it was and who it was for, little effort to tell. Also did not receive any napkins or cutlery. Whether you eat with your hand or not, it should be offered. Nice people indeed. Price a bit on the high side for location and offering. Too bad, maybe we were just unlucky, given the good rating it scores.

We called without booking and a large party was being served. We were asked to come back in half hour. On return, party was still there but a table was organised for us. Owner asked if he could make something tasty for us and we had 2 salads, a pizza and homemade pasta. All were absolutely delicious, so full of flavour and the pasta was soft and perfect. Ordered pizza for take away. In Nieuw West the only good Italian pizza is Vila Bourghese or you really have to go to the city (Pazzi, NNea etc) but because of the high rating I thought I would give this a try. Ordered pizza salami tartufo where mushrooms are supposed to be on it. But it was a pizza sucuk with 3 pieces of mushrooms. Base quite thick and filling, so not airy. Really a disappointment. Owners were very nice but food was really not tasty. So unfortunately no second time.

Food was very good!! Never had such delicious food outside of Italy. Owner is attentive and very friendly.

We are happy with our meal: truffle pizza, pesto ravioli and tuna salad. The owner is so nice and warm. After the meal he recommends us if we go next time, lasagna and their special bread is a must-try.

Terrible place to eat. This man seems really depressed and doesnt know how to make food. Hes a clown, only his daughters are Nice Maybe thats the reason hes depressed. Eat somewhere else is better.

Recently came here for dinner with the family and fell in love with this place. Authentic and delicious food, from pizzas and pasta to sandwiches and salads. Really not normal good food. The service was also great! Will definitely keep coming here!

I thought I had already posted a review a few weeks ago, but I forgot afterwards. Sorridi is one of the tastiest of recent times. The pizza is delicious, tried different sandwiches, all tasty. And also delicious ravioli. It's just a shame that my brother still has boycott brands on drinks. I think that is a drawback. But still worth 4 stars, because everything is delicious, both lunch and dinner. And he is always very friendly!

We had an extensive meal with his 5th birthday. The owner took a big risk by indicating....you don't have to order anything, but you will be completely taken care of! A very big compliment, the food was really amazingly good and delicious!!! And the non-alcoholic drinks too! Pizza could have been a little crispier and a little less cheese......but certainly considering price/quality, the food was still a 9.5...partly thanks to the Italian chef. Owner is super sweet and hospitable. Disadvantage, we had to go to the toilet across the street and it was very cold in the place because the door kept opening. There were also people with their coats on and that didn't make it any more pleasant. But the owner was such a great person and the food was so good...definitely 5 stars!!! I will DEFINITELY come back when the weather is nicer and when the toilet is ready!!

Very pleasant WhatsApp contact for delivery on January 1. Good information about the food on offer. Because delivery was a little earlier than agreed and we only got home shortly afterwards, some dishes may have cooled down a little more than necessary, but that is really a minor issue.

A real trattoria where a lot of food is taken away, but where you can also eat on site. Approximately 8 tables. Owner gives us a warm welcome. Opted for surprises from the chef. Delicious! Enjoyed really good carpaccio, buffalo mozzarella, various pastas and a delicious thin pizza. Recommended! And within walking distance of the theater. Oh, and we were given a delicious treat for dessert.

Very nice place to taste real Italian food in the Netherlands. Food was of the best quality, super tasty and freshly made. We didn't have much time and didn't know what to choose. So we trusted the owner's taste. We ended up tasting salad, ravioli, pizza and other entrees. And everything was very tasty!

The people are nice and the food was ok, I liked the carpaccio and the ravioli. However the atmosphere was atrocious. The place was deathly cold, other guests were watching videos out loud on their phones, while the kitchen had an actual nuclear meltdown alarm going almost the entire meal. I asked the owner to stop it and he said it was for Thuisbezorgd. Not sure what that means, but I honestly couldn't wait to get out of there. Certainly not worth 65e. No toilet either, so be aware of this.

Ate at Sorridi and really enjoyed it! The chicken pizza was delicious, with the perfect balance of flavors and a crispy crust. The arancini was also wonderfully crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, just as it should be. Service was very friendly. The food is amazing! The portion of my pasta (pesto e pollos) is very BIG! I could not finish it, but because it is tasty, I took away the leftovers. :) The price is quite fair-cheap, compared to most Italian restaurants in AMS. Hereby an additional comment from my boyfriend: “HEERLIJK!”

Great caterer but very average restaurant

The salads are wonderfully fresh, the handmade sandwiches are a delight, and the pastas – especially those with ricotta – are truly delicious. The pistachio cannolis are simply heavenly. The pizzas have a thin, crispy base and are topped with fantastic toppings. Definitely recommended! Even the drinks are authentically Italian. The prices in relation to the quality are unparalleled. A place where you really get value for your money.

Best authentic Italian food in Amsterdam

This is a lovely little Italian place where they serve the most delicious Italian sandwiches/buns which they bake from scratch. We had the carpaccio bun and the chicken pesto bun; both were exquisite! The place has indoor and outdoor seating on a quiet square right across the theatre (and the library). So perfect for a meal before the show. They do lunch and dinner as well, but we came here for breakfast. All meals are halal. Perfect service. Definitely recommend!
