A real mess. You're with a group, and two of us wanted soup first. Mind you, these are small round tables; what happens? The soup AND the main course are placed in front of you simultaneously on that small table. What happens? One small movement of the arm to get the salt, and the hot tomato soup spills all over the pants, shirt, and legs, as well as the shoes, socks, and legs of two other people in our group. What do they have? One wet tea towel, one dirty dry tea towel, and a load of mini napkins. No help, no way. The chairs and floor were also covered in soup. When you complain, "Why didn't you put the soup for two first and then the main course for everyone?" you get the response: "You should have said that." People also order it as a main course. Yes, one person orders two main courses... Wow, I've never experienced this at any restaurant. And then, you get a new tomato soup served alongside the main course! I left it there, because it had absolutely no flavor, and you couldn't improve it with salt and pepper. When I was paying, one waitress said, "Sorry, I should have asked," and the other said, "No, the customer should have ordered the soup first, then the main courses." With great difficulty, I managed to get the soup discounted. I'll never go back.

The best place to have a drink and a bite to eat

Today I ordered a burger, at one point I found out that it was red on the inside, the lady offered a glass of drink but had left half the meal and the thought that I could get sick from it, I think the offer is bad, in the end we didn't have to pay for my dish and were given the debit card machine, they wanted us out as quickly as possible because they couldn't make any money from us. Bad experience and very poor quality and treatment

It was unprofessional when something went wrong with my order, forcing me to wait a second time for the same beer for ages. I complained. Later, they asked twice if I wanted another drink: the second time I asked for a glass of water, which I received. When I went to pay, the young lady said, "€13.95 because the water is on the house, hahaha..." They hadn't mentioned that when they asked if I wanted another drink. In that case, I would have ordered another beer to make up for it! Honestly, it's quite insulting... what a load of rubbish. The annoying thing is that I wanted to have a NICE afternoon in Maastricht. Such a stupid, unresolved experience doesn't contribute to that.

Little fries for this money, nacho machos will be served with all three dips together, salsa you need to search at the bottom, the cheap cheese is every where, guacamole is nice. Napkins are optional by serving finger food... Unbelievable. A burger for 16€ come with out fries, and cost 4€ extra 👏...

We really liked the hamburger; the patty was delicious! The only downside was that it didn’t come with fries, but the fries we ordered separately were also great. We sat outside at one of the street tables, and the atmosphere was quite nice. Overall, it was a pleasant experience!

The food was average, not that bad but also not special. The prices were in line with the city average. The big problem was that even though the closing time reported was 10 pm the staff started putting pressure at 8 pm saying that they were closing the kitchen. During dinner (8:30 pm) the staff started the closing procedures using a passive-aggressive behavior, making noises and asking for the bill at 9. NOT A PLEASANT DINNER.

Wall-Stock has one of the best environements and locations in Maastricht. I go here quite frequently and can say the staff was extremely friendly every time (even when it is super busy). Although the summer is the best time to visit, with a terrace overlooking the Maas, the inside is very well decorated and has an extremely comfortable atmosphere. Foodwise, I especially recomend: The chicken salad, the fish and chips and the amazing kentucky burger with truffle fries. They also have a large selection of beers, 6 on tap, and many local and craft beers too. Really recommend as a must-go in Maastricht.

The food itself was really scandalous for a restaurant. The meat of the hamburger was straight out of a snack/fryer.

Very good experience in this small restaurant near the Meuse. the burgers were quite good, without being exceptional either. The service was a little long for our liking. We had the Maastricht burger with a local cheese, I didn't like the sweet sauce which looked like soy sauce because there was too much of it for my taste. But in my eyes what really ruined the experience was the clumped (and overcooked) meat which looked like a supermarket minced steak. On the other hand, the cucumber in the burger was really nice. And the fries, although you pay extra (€4), the portion is generous, we ate there for 2 people. Overall good value for money overall.

Was looking for a restaurant. A hamburger for my child (not an easy eater) and being able to eat it himself. After a bit of googling (we are away for a week in Maastricht) we went to Wall-Stock. We'll go again this week if we can! That says enough. Kids hamburger super fun (no stick to hold everything together, but a lollipop always works well with the kids). Delicious fries with applesauce. And I put this hamburger in my favorite top 3. Cozy cafe, pub. Cosy, not a cold, sleek interior. I love it. See you soon.

We came here today to eat a sandwich. It took a while before someone came to the table, but after that it went very quickly. We got the food before the drinks arrived. I thought this was a shame. Also, no one came by after ordering and it was not possible to order any drinks. The location is beautiful and the terrace is also neat.

Satay sauce was a bit watery and the chicken thigh did not always seem to be cooked properly. But otherwise great. My partner's burger was also tasty.

It's a restaurant in a good location, but I definitely can't recommend eating there. The poor quality of the meat was clearly noticeable with both the schnitzel and the burger. The fries, however, were ok.

Direct aan de Maas. We hadden broodje omelet en een broodje oudekaas met mosterdsaus. Eten was perfect. Bediening liet steeds op zich wachten. De gene die de bestellingen op moest nemen had het steeds te druk met van de omgeving te genieten inplaats dan op haar gasten te letten. De mensen die het eten en drinken kwamen brengen moesten haar er steeds op wijzen dat mensen iets wilde. Dus bravo voor de gene die de hele dag maar heen en weer liepen van keuken naar terras en dus op hun gasten letten

Sehr tolles freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Mein Salat war sehr frisch, mit gerösteten Baumnüssen und gebratenem Ziegenkäse, Gurken, Tomaten, Zwiebeln etc. Auch die Meatballs waren excellent. Umbedingt weiterempfehlen.

Very good bitterballens, fried balls stuffed with mushrooms, and chicken pinion. Very crispy. Vanilla latte good. Strawberry cheesecake far too sweet, to the point of being unfortunately disgusting. Very relaxed atmosphere inside. Outdoor seating. Toilets available but moderately clean . Simple and efficient service.

Fries that were fried too cold, burger patties that weren't cooked through, spare ribs didn't work at all, Budweiser didn't taste fresh, only the salad was tasty.

Avoid. Ordered one of their most expensive dish - tournedo - and got a piece of COLD, dried beef with a water glass filled with fries. It was obvious that it was not freshly grilled but they did it much earlier. The owner showed up and blamed it on the crowd - when half of the tables were empty.

At first it seemed okay, orders were taken and delivered quickly. The glasses for the drinks were still completely wet and there was still some water in the glass itself, no go. A portion of fries wasn't brought at all and when we billed we tried to charge us €2 more than what was on the menu. Accordingly, never come back.
