Its a great spot to plan meetings witj people, and a lot of options are gluten free, just keep in mind the seating.

First time eating here after cycling past it once. The lentil soup was really delicious! Especially with the spicy pita bread. Super friendly service. I will definitely come back for other dishes.

Bad service - order never delivered! I ordered my food at 2:50 PM but it was never delivered. This is the first time that my order has not arrived at all, but unfortunately not my first bad experience. Last time the delivery was almost two hours late and they also got our order wrong. This is starting to become a pattern, if you have structural problems with orders, it would be nice if customers were informed in time instead of waiting unnecessarily. Very disappointing!

We were unexpectedly in this small restaurant. The atmosphere was relaxed even though the place was full, the service was very nice and navigated well between our complicated dietary requirements. The food (mainly burgers) was very tasty and the price was more than right. We drank homemade iced tea that wasn't too sweet and shared dessert. It was nice that this restaurant does not choose to serve all kinds of high-calorie side dishes such as fries, which made this meal both light and satisfying for the rest of the evening. I definitely think we will return here again. Recommended! 🔥

Super tasty food, this is what you drive for! However, the service is poor and very dependent on who is there. Long wait and you are helped with slight reluctance... but the food makes up for everything :)

We had a party at work yesterday where they provided the catering. It was really fantastic! The fried oyster mushrooms were especially delicious. Even the real meat eaters who were initially very disappointed when they heard the word vegan were all very enthusiastic afterwards. Friendly people too. Big ten!

So delicious and friendly staff! Flavorful pom, rice, plantain and even the accompanying salad was really tasty. Full plates so I had to take half with me. Thanks and see you soon!

Fantastic place! We had a delicious meal there with the family. The service was top notch. My drink was taken away too quickly, after which I received a new cup for the road. We don't live nearby, but we would love to come back. And we have banana bread to enjoy at home. Yemayá's is highly recommended!!

Together with @eze_theglocalizer I went to visit Yemayá’s Vegan Corner to try out their menu for @blackloveoffood! And our taste buds were extremely happy. Such tasty and fully plant-based food. You can find natural beauty products in the restaurant as well, there’s quite some place to sit and on a sunny day it’s possible to sit outside (on a small terrace). What did we taste? Drinks: Ginger Lemonade Smoothie of the week (berry) — Non-sparkling nice and sweet lemonade with a really good ginger taste. Not too much that it’s unpleasant but enough to enjoy a fresh ginger flavour. Sweetened with agave which is a biiiig plus for us since we try to limit refined sugar intake. And Yemayá understands. The berry smoothie was sweet and fresh as well. Not too thick but still a nice smoothie texture. If you love berries, this one’s for you for sure. Appetizer: Saoto Soup — The soup was fire! FIRE! A vegan saoto soup? Don’t mind if I do. I honestly thought it would be very different from the original since it’s mostly made with chicken stock but they did the thing bruh. Eze doesn’t even like soup and he was enjoying thoroughly. Then you know it’s truly good. Mains: Burger on spelt pita Yemayá’s box with mushrooms and vegan pom — Great flavours, fresh veggies, healthy and lovely to eat. The burger was juicy and was one of the best meat substitutes I’ve ever had (and I’ve had many). It was Eze’s dish but I’m coming back for it for sure. The box was amazing. So many different things on a plate: cooked plantain, salad, pom, wild rice, mushrooms. Make sure you have an appetite to eat all of this deliciousness cause the portion is thick. Dessert: Banana cake — Sweet, fluffy, soft and melts on your tongue. Homemade deliciousness. And different from so many other menus in Amsterdam. The owners are nothing short of amazing. So warm, friendly and passionate about what they do. Meat lovers will still have a great time here, so just go even if you’re not fully vegan (we aren’t either). The prices are also so decent for Amsterdam, so even on a budget you’ll be fine here. A black-owned gem that deserves it all. I hope they exist forever to keep treating people with this dope concept. Super friendly people working in this nice restaurant. The food was really tasty, we tried the burger, a tempeh sandwich and a mixture of rice, salad and Amaranth prepared Suriname style. Everything including the bread was carefully crafted to achieve an excellent balance in taste and texture. Suriname might no be internationally known for its food, it is certainly worth trying it out!

Delicious food and drinks! I am not vegan or vegetarian myself, but there was plenty on the menu that I wanted to try. Went for the roti roll and it tasted 5 stars! Price/quality perfectly fine. In my opinion, more takeaway than restaurant, but you can sit there and have a nice meal. If I'm in the area again I will definitely go here again.

Food is delicious, the sateh is wonderfully tender. But above all, go there for the delicious herbs, the nasi has a rich taste. Fresh vegetables are lightly seasoned, but with their own taste they are in harmony with the dishes. The homemade lemonade is also very tasty! Actually, I am enthusiastic about everything, the passion of the owners also shines through!

A nice vegan tent in Reigerbos, employees are super friendly and nice. You feel welcome by the atmosphere and staff, highly recommended for vegan and non-vegan eaters

Tasty food, ready quickly, not too large portions. Atmosphere/decoration is still something that needs to be developed, it seems a bit messy.

HEAVENLY SAOTO SOUP (^3^)/ Was not familiar with the area and did not know where they sold saoto soup 😪 LUCKILY, a quick google search for saoto soup led me to this cute vegan corner. (^o^) I used to be deadly afraid of vegans, so much I would hide and shiver in fear when they walked past me (I can smell when someone's vegan) This saoto changed my life and helped me get over my fear of vegans, I almost wanted to turn vegan myself... Sadly, I still love fried chicken.♡ 10/10 soup! ( ﾉ^ω^)ﾉ Mushrooms in the soup kind of imitate the meat you would usually have in a normal saoto, loved it! Also, the lime in the soup? You may think it's weird to have in a saoto, but it enriched the flavors very well. Nice people with nice smiles working there, clean place + students at the school nearby get a discount, not a student there but they still gave me one :)

Leuke zaak en lekkere gerechten. Ook helemaal niet duur, goede prijs/kwaliteit. Heel erg lekkere pita’s uit de oven. Goede impressie van Surinaamse keuken en nog vegetarisch ook! Veel succes.

Ik heb Yemayá's Vegan Corner 's avonds bezocht en bestelde via de digitale bestelzuil, wat perfect verliep. De eetruimte bood voldoende plek en de schone tafels droegen bij aan een prettige sfeer. Mijn bestelling arriveerde kort na het plaatsen en het eten was uitstekend! Ik beveel Yemayá's Vegan Corner van aan!

Fantastisch smaakvolle vegan burger gegeten. Rustgevende sfeer en goede bediening. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Ik heb vroeger wel eens laten bezorgen en kwam het vandaag afhalen. Het was weer heerlijk! Ik was zo blij toen ik deze plek had ontdekt; lekker en gezond eten om af te halen en dat voor hele redelijke prijzen. Let wel op, de openingstijd is maar tot 19:00.

Héérlijk vegan surinaams eten. Een klein tentje, maar groot genoeg om de Surinaamse keuken te proeven. Advies: altijd van te voren reserveren om teleurstelling te voorkomen. Vol is vol!

Wat een juweeltje voor Zuidoost! Ook al ben je geen vegetariër, ik geniet elke maal van mijn eten. Het is heerlijk! De chef kent zijn smaken en stelt nooit teleur. Ik bestel graag Yemaya's box, mix van wilde rijst en gekookte banaan, zoetzure tofu, pikante tempeh, gruntu en de pom is verrukkelijk! Vandaag was de gruntu gevulde sopropo en wow.. Het is tevens een hele fijne plek om ter plekke te genieten van de homemade drankjes en cake. Goede energie, TOP kwaliteit en heel goed geprijsd, want ja, dat is ook belangrijk

Wat uniek, een veganistische restaurant in Amsterdam Z.O. Heerlijk gegeten tot heden en het gebak is ook heerlijk!! Ook hun prijs en kwaliteit verhouding is zeer goed. Ten alle tijden een aanrader!!!

Spontaan geluncht omdat het altijd zo lekker ruikt als je voorbij loopt. Het eten is heerlijk, veggie burger was sappig en vol smaak. Tempe lekker krokant en superveel verse groente erbij. Leuke mensen en gezellige ongedwongen sfeer. We komen zeker terug! Verlang weer naar de sappige burger met kaas 👍🏼

Heerlijk gegeten en vriendelijke bediening. We zijn er blij dat er een goed vegetarisch restaurant in de buurt zit.

I love food at Yemaya. All of them, but especially the burgers are so delicious here as well as the lentil soup and the box. Great place and friendly personnel. When I had a suggestion about my coffee being quite sweet, they were so kind and they made it less sweet and even followed up for feedback. This is a great type of service.

Heerlijk eten!! De roti rol genomen en een broodje pom :) heel fijn dat alles lekker met de hand gemaakt is en ook echt plantbased is in de zin van gebruik maken van lekkere groentes en kruiden op een gezonden manier. Ook fijn dat er gezonde suikers worden gebruikt zoals het fruit zelf en agave siroop, heerlijk dit! Ik geniet zeker van mijn cultuur op de juiste manier :) heerlijk dat de roti, broodjes en pannenkoeken van speltbloem zijn gemaakt, lekker en gezonder! De drankjes waren heerlijk! Een koffie, limonade en een smoothie geproefd en het was helemaal perfect. Niet te zoet en natuurlijk met agavesiroop. De bereidingstijd van het eten was top. Personeel was super vriendelijk en de sfeer was heel fijn. Chill om binnen te zitten en mooi ingericht. Ook de prijzen zijn redelijk!!! Heerlijk gegeten boi, hier kom ik zeker snel weer terug :)

na aanleiding van artikel in het Parool even 2km omgefietst voor de vegan roti-rol. en deze overtrof zelfs mijn verwachting :) helemaal goed op smaak, veel verschillende groentes, zoetzure tofu erg OK, en de volkoren (mag dat?) 'roti' was ook te lekker ! alle andere dingen op het menu zagen er ook gezond en aantrekkelijk uit. ...en ook nog eens super sympathiek personeel. dank!

2 uur en 15 min op mijn bestelling moeten wachten. Restaurant niet te bereiken. Ook had ik brownie en een bananencake besteld, maar kreeg alleen cake.. de cheeseburger was wel lekker

Absolutely amazing, tasty, interesting vegan food not just your standard vegan sausage roll etc, so reasonably priced too! The staff are so friendly even though we don't speak any dutch, this place feels like a hidden gem! We came here several time on our stay. Cannot recommend enough!

Affordable, fresh, and filling. On a lovely street corner with big windows that let lots of light in, the food is delicious and perfect fuel for a big day. The people who work there are lovely. Have the ginger lemonade and saoto soup!!

Heerlijk eten en er wordt ook veel afgehaald. Dat een vegan hamburger zo lekker kan zijn en gezond! Geweldig home-made broodje en verse groente. Niet zo’n uitgebreide kaart maar met zoveel aantrekkelijke gerechten dat het moeilijk kiezen is. Er is maar één oplossing: we moeten snel weer terug. Naast lekker eten is de sfeer goed en super aardige mensen die het restaurant draaien.
