Great food! I understand where the hype comes from, but the restaurant lacks some atmosphere. The decor is very clinical and the lighting is very bright. In my opinion, that could be dimmed with some more stylish (authentic Korean?) furniture. However, it did not detract from the taste of the food. We enjoyed it immensely and will definitely go here more often.

Very authentic hot pot experience!

The food was delicious! This was our first time, and there was plenty of choice. Despite our reservation, we still had to wait 15-20 minutes extra because it was busy, but we didn't mind. The hotpot dishes were served quickly and the service was very friendly. Definitely recommended!

Awesome Hotpot, great service and atmosphere.

Stumbled across this place and it was packed so evidently we couldn’t get a table but made a reso for another day and now we know why it’s always so hard to get in. Take it from the Chinese guy, this place is legit. Easily ranks in the top 5 hotpot places I’ve had across the world. Ordering was convenient through the iPad, the owner and staff were all incredibly helpful, food presentation was fantastic, flavours were great. They’re also very infant and toddler friendly! A must try

Yuan's is amazing! The food is to die for and the people extremely sweet and welcoming! My husband and I had our second date here and then went back when we were celebrating one month of being married! Naychara attended to us both times and was absolutely amazing! Thank you once again Naychara!

It had been a while since I’ve been there it was early so not very busy yet. Really nice to just have a meal with my mom and try some different things as well.

Highly recommend! I wasn’t sure what to expect as it my first time trying this way of… cooking? Cuisine? Life maybe? So have nothing to compare it to but most definitely enjoyed the whole experience a lot! Excellent service, which is always hard to come by in this city. Everything we ordered was really high quality! So many options from your basics to more adventurous. Don’t skip on the crispy pancake… we ended up ordering 2 more portion after the first, so good! If you don’t eat meat there are also plenty of delicious veg options. Go for the light spicy soup, it has the perfect amount of heat and more flavourful than the plain chicken broth. It’s more spicy in the beginning but as you scoop the top layer of oil it kinda mellows out as you go. My personal favourite meat was the roasted duck as I’m not much of a pork or beef eater but the other around my table very much enjoyed those options. Thanks to the wonderful hostess for taking care of the birthday girl at our table, including a round of shots, a little cake with a candle and some merch to take home. Unforgettable experience, I’ll be back for sure!

Genuinely best hot pot experience I have ever had, great quality meat, impecable service and very reasonable pricing

The food is fine, wide choice, but the surroundings did not make us feel very welcome. Hurried service that has to shout loudly above the noise in the shop and has very little time to explain. The bright lighting does not help to create a warm atmosphere.

We had to wait a very long time before we finally got our broth. Other people who came after us were already eating, normally nothing too bad, but when you only have two hours and have to wait for about 30 minutes. and then every time we ordered those four things, only one thing came through until we realized that everything was put on the neighbors table, the numbers were mixed up for a moment, the neighbors no longer knew where to put bowls and we had a bowl of noodles on the table... Eventually the neighbors passed it on to our table, but it's not the way I want to go out for a nice meal

After the experience in Malaysia, we started looking for a hotpot restaurant in the Netherlands. We had a very tasty meal, the restaurant is very clean and the staff is very friendly. Perhaps a little more coziness or atmosphere in terms of design, but that is a personal opinion. 🤗 We will definitely visit again.

Expensive, but great food. Good broth and quite a big meny to choose ingredients. You order from an iPad, then they serve it when you’ve sent the order. I dined solo and I paid around 80 euro for the meal.

Such a fun interactive experience! You can decide to go with a set menu or order your favourites - which is awesome because you can try lots of new things. The staff is incredibly welcoming and nice, and truly elevate your experience. Would recommend coming when you are feeling super hungry - food is rich and filling, and super flavourful!

There is a very large selection for vegans and everything tasted really excellent. The employees were all courteous and helpful.

We went for the lunch menu, it includes a bit of everything at a very reasonable price. The staff is very friendly, fast and professional. The quality of the food is above average and the space is clean and modern. Definitely, a very good choice.

This is probably the best and authentic taste / experience closest to home though it's underwhelming if you compare this to what you can get in Asia. Wide range of beverage available here and boss is hospitable.

We're regular visitors here even though we don't live in Amsterdam. We tried a few hot pot places and this is our favourite by far. Great service, nice choices of soup bases (various spice levels) and good variety overall. There's a lot of space, so you won't feel like you're part of another group. I have been to Yuan for a team dinner in their VIP room and it's perfect. You get your own private room. I can't recommend this place enough.

The food is really good and the staff was very patient while explaining how everything worked! They also showed us how to do thr settings due to allergies, which helped us out a lot :))

Fun, busy, lively place, easy ordering process with a tablet, great food, staff is attentive. The "super spicy" pot could be spicier, we asked for more chilis. There's even a steam machine at the door to remove food smell from clothes.

We had a good time in this restaurant, but there are several things that we felt need to be improved. Ventilation is horrible, the whole restaurant feels damp. The soup based waters (we had mushroom and tomatoe) is not that tasty. And the whole experience was over-priced. On the contrary, the staff are really kind, the sauce options are relatively good, and the ingredients are fresh and nice.

This was our first time experiencing a ‘hot pot’ restaurant and we really liked it. The products were very fresh and delicious. If you are even slightly interested in Far Eastern hot pot soups, I definitely recommend it. The waiters were very helpful and friendly.

Great variety of meats and vegetables (many types of mushrooms, beef tripe, dumplings). The soups can get quite spicy, but they also do a non-spicy option. Cozy atmosphere and very friendly service.

Yuan’s Hot Pot completely convinced me. The service was attentive and friendly, the team explained everything to us and was always there if we had any questions. The selection of ingredients was great – everything was fresh, high quality and delicious. I was particularly impressed by the variety of broths and the ability to mix the sauces according to your own taste. The atmosphere is modern and inviting, perfect for a cozy evening with friends. All in all a great experience that I can recommend to everyone. Five stars are more than deserved here!

If you get full only by solid food, don't come here because hotpot is a watery concept and to my opinion you don't eat as much as you pay! The least spicy broth was still too spicy for us! Was okay to try once.

Delicious food! Atmosphere in the restaurant is a bit busy and full. We were lucky to get the 8 person 'private dining room'. All in all, an absolute pinnacle of delicious!

As an Asian, I 100% recommend this place. If you're tired of potatoes, come here! Everything about my experience made that day an enjoyable and delicious dinner. It started with the friendly and attentive service, always with a smile. The food was fresh, clean, and tasty. You can notice their attention to detail through the little things they provide, showing their care in management—like bibs for eating or even free sanitary pads in the women’s restroom. I will return here every time I visit Amsterdam!

Interesting experience of eating freshly boiled food. There are a lot of different options, and in general, we liked it. The place was quite crowdy during lunchtime.

After landing in Amsterdam from the UK, my first meal was to eat hotpot at Yuanji! Very amazing, the ingredients are very fresh, especially the rib eye beef is delicious! The meat is tender and smooth, and the oysters are plump and melt in your mouth. There are many choices of pot base. We ordered the new mushroom hot pot. I recommend you to try the mushroom pot base. The soup is delicious. The waiter often adds soup to you and is very enthusiastic! The most important thing is that it is very cost-effective and the portion is large and very satisfying. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes hot pot.

I really like eating hotpot at Yuanji! ! The new mushroom pot soup is very fragrant and rich, and the spicy pot is also delicious, very enjoyable but not irritating to the stomach. There is a wide variety of dishes, and the beef meatballs and fresh-cut lamb are highly recommended! The waiter is friendly and will take the initiative to help us add soup base and change plates. The details are very considerate. Overall, it is a hot pot restaurant that I feel is worth the money. I will come again next time.

Love coming here. Service could be a bit quicker but, overall, once you have your order you're set and ready to enjoy! Like visiting often, especially when it's cold outside!

Delicious food, very friendly staff

The less spicy soup was SPICY, and i found the mushroom soup to be quite bland ( it could have been just because my taste buds were fried from the spicy soup), so beware. Aside from that, there are so many different options for meats, seafood, and veggies to have fun with. Nonchopstickes users might have a hard time getting a bite, you need to cook the food in the soup somehow and then fish the food out. Note that the dumplins, rice cakes, and crab sticks are frozen when they bring them to your table. If you love dumplins as much as i love them- order them, you won't regret it. Also, the make your own dipping sauce counter is great. Great service, atmosphere is of an authentic hotpot spot in the the east.

AMAZING This place was fantastic. One of our guest has serious allergies and they were accommodated to. The food was tasty and the service was quick. We liked that we continue to order as much as we wanted with the ipad systems. It made it easier for us to load up and get drinks without having to get staff to come over. We were a group of 6 so i would always suggest to book in advance for a group of this size.

Went with my family for dinner, and our server Nayara was so attentive and kind! The food was great and we ended up getting seconds, its a fun way to have a meal especially if you’re not alone!

It's a hot pot restaurant that's clean, easy to understand thanks to touch panel ordering, and the soup and ingredients are delicious. A Taiwanese friend recommended it to me! If you want to eat hotpot in Amsterdam, this is the place to go.

My visit to Yuan's Hotpot Amsterdam was an overall positive experience. The first thing I noticed was how friendly and helpful the staff was. They took the time to explain everything thoroughly and make us feel welcome. That immediately made the atmosphere in the restaurant very pleasant and cozy. One of the highlights is the enormous variety of ingredients that you can choose for the hotpot. There really is something for everyone, from fresh vegetables and noodles to different types of meat and fish. This allows you to customize your hotpot to your own taste, which I really liked. Unfortunately, the soup base was a bit disappointing for me. It had a nasty aftertaste that made my experience a little less pleasant. This may of course be a personal preference, but for me it detracted from the whole. Apart from that, the rest of the visit was absolutely satisfactory. The friendly staff and cozy atmosphere make Yuan's Hotpot definitely a place to try, especially if you like an interactive dining experience and lots of choice!

Exquisite and excellent hot pot! Very intense flavours, simple yet traditional presentation and an extremelly varied menu of chinese delicacies. In short, stunning food and even better service.

Had dinner here for the first time with my partner. The restaurant has a nice appearance and the service is above average (very good even). However, the food is substandard. You put the food in the soup, and I feel like that gives the dishes all the same taste. This taste is not nice. It's more of a mediocre taste, and I don't understand why this restaurant has such a high rating. It may also be my taste buds, but this is not the first Asian restaurant I have eaten at.

Celebrated my birthday and the staff was super nice and pleasant. It really felt like my birthday. Price ratio, on the other hand, is also very good!
