First hot pot meal for me. This was so delicious and fresh. Especially the shrimp and chicken. The pork dumplings are a must try. Might return during my stay in Amsterdam

went with a friend to have dinner and we really enjoyed it. the food was so tasty and the service was really kind and nice, especially a super cute waitress with a piercing.

What an amazing restaurant! The food was out of this world, the best meal we had on our holiday. The service went above and beyond. They went the extra mile. They explained everything so well and constantly checked in on us during our meal, initiating lovely conversation and getting to know us. It was my birthday meal and the staff came to the table with mochi and a little candle in it ( so delicious!) as well as a panda teddy. When I didn’t think it could get any better, they gave me a complimentary Lychee tea (it was divine). I cannot recommend this place enough. If you want delicious (like insanely delicious) food, this is the place to go!

Wow, what a lovely evening at Yuan's hotpot, Amsterdam Valley. From the moment we entered the restaurant, the staff were so kind, friendly and attentive. The food was delicious!! We ordered the half-half soup base, and a little bit of everything. Favourites were the cut noodles and the beef short ribs. Totally full but thinking about when we can come back next! Thank you !!!

I absolutely loved Yuan's Hotpot! It is literally one of my favorite restaurants in Amsterdam. The food is so yummy, and the staff is exceptionally sweet. Everything is super fresh and the broth is very rich in flavor. Loved the boba as well, they’re not too sweet and come in a fun cup. When they saw I was pregnant, they brought me a little panda to take home for the baby. So thoughtful! 🥹 Yuan’s Hot Pot is definitely an experience everybody should visit!! 🍲🥟🥢

Amazing food, really nice staff who are happy to help. Very cozy interior. Our fave were the rice cakes in the spicy broth. After sitting in the amazing smells inside for 2 hours you can ‘mist yourself off’ before going outside. 10/10 would recommend.

I wanted my son to experience a true Chinese hot-pot. Yuan’s hot pot delivered the experience to the letter. The Szechuan spicy soup was proper my spicy. The chicken broth and mushroom soup we took as the mild alternatives were tasty. I love the fact they had the good parts like beef tandem and chicken feet and cow stomach. Service was also very good. The restaurant atmosphere is not that nice, but it is in line with what you have in Asia.

Frankly speaking, this brand is very famous. My friends in Sweden said that they didn't have to queue up last time they went there. We ate at a restaurant called Valley. The jelly was very cold, the skewers were average, and the rice was very hard, but the service was very good.

This restaurant is really a must-try for hot pot lovers! The ingredients are very fresh and rich, the beef is particularly tender, the vegetables are super fresh, and even the tofu is more delicious than usual. We tried the signature pot base. The spicy pot was strong enough and the mushroom soup was particularly fresh. The combination was very satisfying. The environment is spacious and comfortable, not smoky like other hot pot restaurants. The price is reasonable and the quantity is large. The service is particularly warm and makes you feel like you are at home.

The environment of Yuanji is super clean and comfortable, and the decoration style is also very unique. It feels like returning to China. It's a great place for friends or family gatherings, and the staff is very welcoming and attentive even though it's busy. Their sauce section has a variety of toppings that you can mix and match. The most important thing is that the portions are generous and the food is served very quickly, so there is no need to wait at all. We also tried the special pot base and will definitely come back next time

Book in advance; it's a busy place. We visited twice. The first time, on June 11th, we were absolutely thrilled with the food and service. Everything was explained to us, our orders arrived promptly, and our daughter was delighted with everything—from the children's utensils to the candies and panda headband. The second time, on August 13th, the service was much worse. The rice and noodles we needed to balance out the spicy food arrived closer to the middle of the meal, and they completely forgot the fried rice with egg we ordered (though when we reminded them, they offered to either have us wait or remove it from the bill). Tasty, but chaotic and a bit disappointing. Major pros: + Aprons are provided + They have children's utensils and chopsticks + The rice sticks are delicious—you could order just those + I also recommend the marble beef + Tasty sauces with their own sesame oil Cons: - They turn the stove up so high that the broth boils down quickly (though they come around with a kettle to offer more hot water)—in another hot pot restaurant we visited, the stove setting was more controlled - Not a great selection of seafood—limited and expensive

As a Dutch person we were very welcomed and guided for the Chengdu style Hot-Pot. The service is a 10/10 they make sure you got everything you need and want. The place is just amazing and would recommend to everyone who wants to try some Chinese cuisine!

No trip to Amsterdam is complete without a meal at Yuan’s Hot Pot! This was my first time to this location as I was staying in Schipol. It was a 15 minute drive, so not too bad. Fortunately, I made a reservation earlier that afternoon for a party of 3; I recommend making a reservation through their website ahead of time. We ordered the half spicy and half tomato base soups and went to town on the ordering! Each table is provided a tablet to order each item, along with appetizers and drinks. Everything is reasonably priced and all the ingredients are fresh. The sauce bar is fully stocked and gives you a lot of options. The restaurant is busy, but the staff is very friendly and efficient. It is noisy, but not so much where you can’t have a conversation. I highly recommend coming here if you enjoy Chinese-style hot pot!

We visited as a group of colleagues, and for most of us, this was our first hot pot experience. The staff were incredibly welcoming and took the time to explain everything, making sure we felt comfortable and ready to dive in. The experience was a bit overwhelming at first—but in the best, most delicious way! We enjoyed fantastic food, lots of laughs over our hot pot mishaps, and an overall memorable experience. Highly recommended for both the food and the wonderful atmosphere!

I have tried all of the Yuans Hot Pot in Amsterdam and just like the others it is delicious and always fun with friends. I would recommend you the lamb slices and also the enoki mushrooms with beef🤩

First time hotpot and what a great experience. It was clearly explained how it worked and what you can order. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They will also double check whether what you clicked on the iPad is the correct one. We were all really pleased with the dipping sauce and the tenderness of the meat and fish. The broth also tastes good (we found 1 pepper to be quite spicy). Drinks also good and so are the desserts. Price-quality is also completely fine. Restaurant looks neat and very clean. We will definitely come back someday.

Phenomenal unparalleled service from these lovely people! The meats were fantastic, as it was my first time doing hot pot it was really nice to be able to fine-tune how thoroughly cooked I wanted my meat and the 3-way soup pan gave great heterogeneity to the experience. It's also nice how lengthy the experience was in comparison to standard restaurants where you go through a single meal, gives more room for great conversations. 😊 Can't wait for our next visit, thanks for the lovely time!

Highly recommended! The staff are very friendly and since it was our first time eating hot pot, everything was explained to us in a calm manner. You get an iPad on which you can order anything at any time and an apron to protect your clothes. It was very tasty, there were many meat/fish and vegetable variations. Also dumplings, pancakes and also many desserts. You could refill the sauces yourself for free. It's a small restaurant, so it's perfect if you're looking for a quieter place to eat than in the middle of the city. In addition, a lot of emphasis was placed on cleanliness.

We come here once a month and we love it! We used to go to the other Yuan’s hotpot spots, but this one is more close to where we live. Yesterday we decided to take our families with us, and we had an amazing time. The food is always good just like the service and the staff. The owner is very sweet! It was my mom her birthday and they gave her some gifts and a cute birthday cake with a candle.

A less busier place in their franchise restaurant. The place was nice and cozy. The hotpot experience can be a bit confusing to some people at first but it was well explained by their friendly waiters. It’s worth noting that it’s not a all-you-can-eat hotpot but more like pay-what-you-order.

A big bowl gets delivered to your table. It heats up on the hot plate below. You then cook your meats in the broth. We had chicken broth and tomato broth. We added noodles and meat. A fun experience eating with chopsticks. Would love to visit again.

So delicious! Simply heaven! Very authentic Sichuan taste! As soon as you enter the door, the rich aroma of the soup base hits your face, which instantly whets your appetite. The lighting in the store is also very good! There are many kinds of dishes, and the meat is tender and juicy, the vegetables are fresh and crisp, especially the fish balls, which are so elastic and tender that they melt in your mouth. I ordered the signature half-half pot base. The spicy pot part is numb but not dry. It is just right spicy and makes people more and more addicted. The waiters are meticulous and do every detail in place, making you feel at home. If you are a hot pot lover, this place is definitely not to be missed. Every meal will be an unforgettable gourmet journey.

Like what other reviews have mentioned, the restaurant is clean, the food is fresh and… you can’t go wrong with anything here. The place is really thoughtful. They shop local for their draft beer/fresh ingredients/fragrances in the restroom, but they do ship their specialty beer and chilly oil straight from China for good reasons. The menu is presented on the tablet, which has a filter in case you are allergic to some ingredients. The recommended cook time is also displayed in the menu and on the table top just in case you need it. The service was also fantastic! They don’t work for tips (silly Americans) but the service is definitely among the best we have seen in hotpot restaurants. I really appreciate how the servers seem to get along with each other well. The manager was very amiable and kind, so you'll probably walk out feeling a lot warmer in stomach and heart.

The place is fairly small, but I had a really great experience nonetheless. It's very cosy and the personnel is helpful and friendly. The pot and table are convenient, ordering is done via tablet which invokes a swift response and anything ordered is delivered quickly. Most importantly: the food is DELICIOUS. Its very well seasoned. We had the pot with three different broths. Every skewer and bit of meat yielded a very different flavor depending on the soup base you used and the spicy bits are plenty spicy if you wish so! The mochi ice creams for dessert are definitely something I recommend. All in all, great place and definitely something to try if intense flavours are your thing.
