The staff was amazing helpful, it was my first time trying hot pot and they explained everything perfectly the restaurant is really clean beautiful and the experience is definitely a must visit, they were so sweet they even gave us cute matching headbands, and if you have allergies don’t worry their menu offers vegetarian and also gluten free options which is amazing as a person with celiac it’s hard to find good places with good gluten free food so this is amazing!

We had a truly delicious meal here! The food was super tasty, and everything was fresh and flavorful. The hotpot was cozy and perfect for sharing. Our children enjoyed it immensely too and especially liked being able to participate in the meal themselves. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed, and everything was explained clearly. I went to the original one in De Pijp years ago. At that time I was not very impressed—however the selection of items has greatly increased! Especially with a large group this ends up being a very tasty and affordable meal.

Hands down the best hotpot in the Netherlands! Get the spicy and regular broth combo. One half makes you sweat like you're taking a lie detector test, and the other half tastes like pure, savory joy. ​The hospitality is absolutely top-notch, too. The hosts are incredibly nice and explain everything in such great detail that even someone who has never boiled water before will look like a hotpot pro. It’s also super easy to get to by public transport, which is perfect because you can just roll yourself onto the train while slipping into a peaceful food coma. Can't wait to come back!

I recently visited this hot pot restaurant and had a great dining experience. The highlight was the dual-flavor broth — one side was a rich, spicy soup with a deep chili aroma, while the other was a light and clear broth, perfect for balancing the heat. Both sides complemented the ingredients really well. The quality of the ingredients was impressive. The thinly sliced meat looked fresh and well-marbled, cooking quickly and staying tender. There was also a generous seafood option, including small octopus, which added a nice variety to the meal. The vegetables in the broth, like mushrooms, cucumber, and green onions, gave it a fresh and clean taste. I also liked the presentation — everything was neatly arranged and easy to cook at the table. The portion sizes were reasonable, and having rice on the side made the meal more filling. Overall, this is a great place for hot pot lovers. The combination of flavorful broths, fresh ingredients, and a cozy dining setup makes it worth visiting. I would definitely come back again!

I've eaten here several times and what a fantastic experience. It's a small restaurant, so reservations are essential, but this ensures everything is perfect. The service is fantastic and personalized, the food is incredibly delicious, and they're knowledgeable about the food and the restaurant itself. They regularly come by to refill the hot pot, and the food is on the table within minutes. It's clean (even the restrooms are spotless). There's plenty of space (the tables aren't too close together), which makes for a truly pleasant experience without being bothered by other people. Simply the best restaurant I've ever eaten at. I'll recommend it to everyone and will definitely return myself. Huge compliments to the staff ❤️❤️❤️.

The food is delicious, on the stand on the table are the times for the products. I liked the meats, but they also have a range of vegetarian items. The staff were very kind and attentive. And the place looks very beautiful and neat. The food is not cheap, but I think it is definitely worth what I paid.

Delicious food and fast service

I'm from Sichuan, and I'm approved. Tips for the dipping sauce: garlic, peanuts, oestersaus, koriander, half a spoonful of salt and chicken powder, add sesame oil. Also, very nice service. The numbing spiciness and delicious flavors along the way!

You can immediately tell that no expense is spared on quality. The side dishes also completely won me over. The selection is varied, fresh, and perfectly complements the hotpot. From vegetables and noodles to various toppings, everything blends together perfectly and complements the hotpot beautifully. Each ingredient contributes to the overall experience and harmoniously rounds out the meal. Overall, Yuan’s Hotpot offers a well-rounded package of excellent cuisine, high-quality ingredients, and a truly delightful taste experience. For anyone who appreciates authentic hotpot with robust flavors and excellent quality meat, this restaurant comes highly recommended. I will definitely be back.

Service from the young gentleman Pan An was excellent, very attentive, and honest. If we ordered double he will ask us one or two portions and would cancel the double order. Food as expected from a mala hotpot: Ho ho HOT! Parking at Qpark Valley right next door.

Yuan’s hotpot is absolutely the No.1 hotpot in Amsterdam. Very interesting concept and you can literally try EVERYTHING on the menu. This restaurant in Zuid is good in location as well as environment. Very friendly staff and excellent food! Highly recommend!

I'm not exaggerating, this is the best hotpot place in the Netherlands! The food is fresh, the broth is authentic Sichuan flavor, and the staff are incredibly friendly. Last month my friend won their 3rd-anniversary first prize (€200), so we enjoyed a delicious meal for free. What impressed me the most is that they offered amazing service like always, even though we didn’t pay a cent today. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be back soon!

This feels like ‘fast hot-pot’ to me. The essence of hot pot for me is to enjoy a slow warm meal surrounded by your loved ones. We were kicked out after 2 hours. I would never go back.

Cool place, we quite enjoyed the hot pot. It's not a fancy place, but food is really good quality and service is quite attentive. I can really suggest to check out this place when you are in Amsterdam Zuid.

A fantastic hot pot place. My friends took me here to try it for the 1st time and I was left impressed. 1st before the food, the service and attitude of the staff is great. They take your coats to put them in a closet so they don't end up soaking up the smell. They are friendly and very helpful with whatever you need. The service is also quite fast. The food is ordered through a tablet which shows you everything you can order with pictures. They have a very large menu and I got to try things that I never would order otherwise because they have these €1 skewers that are for 1 serving. The soups that we tried were great (Mushroom base, low and medium spice). And if you don't know how to turn the heat up or lower it you can always ask the staff for help. They also fill it up throughout the dinner. They provide you an apron, and a hair tie if you ask. You make your own dipping sauce and add the sesame oil that is already on the table and you dive in. I got to try many different veggies, specialties and cuts of meat for ~35per person.

The food was very good and the staff was very kind and helpful. The place was very noisy and while very clean and tidy it didn’t make it very pleasant to talk. The big issue of this place (but you can see it yourselves) is the price. The food is very very overpriced for what it is (I mean, the weight of those meat slices is very low), and also the quantity of the food is not stellar… but I get it’s not the point of such a place. Funny little place to go and eat nice food, but in my opinion one visit is enough
