The food is delicious; it doesn't look like much at first glance, but it's very filling. You can order via a terminal. When we ate, it was very quiet and not very busy. It might get a little cramped when the place is full, but otherwise, it's a great place.
I received the wrong order, and judging by the reviews on Thuisbezorgd, this happens often. My friend received a chicken pita, while she ordered haloumi. She's a vegetarian. The restaurant was unavailable, so I had to order food elsewhere. I want a refund.
🌾 BBROOD – Beethovenstraat 17, Amsterdam
A place where sourdough comes to life — crispy, nutritious, and with a story.
This BBROOD branch feels like an ode to craftsmanship and attention to detail. The counter is a feast for the eyes: generously filled baskets of fragrant croissants, muffins, crackers, and robust loaves of bread with character. My favorite? The whole wheat sourdough with sesame: firm, flavorful, and addictively delicious.
The atmosphere is also perfect. The staff are friendly and visibly dedicated. The information on the wall about biodynamic farming and collaboration with farmers from East Africa adds depth. This is no ordinary bakery, but a conscious place where food and vision converge.
☕️ Tip: Bring a coffee, a bag of bread under your arm, and relax on the bench outside in the sun.

Today I was helped by a wonderfully cheerful and friendly blonde woman! She made my day. Always friendly and the products are delicious. A great solution compared to the other busy bakery.
I have never received worse service in an establishment.
Three shop assistants and me alone in the queue and they haven't even paid any attention to me.
I have asked them about the sauces and, as if I were invisible, I have not received an answer, I have left without buying
📍On the industrial estate near Sloterdijk
🪑The interior is fine.
🛎️ Friendly staff. However, the menus are really dirty in my opinion.
💰Relatively expensive for one sandwich, but not unusual in canteens.
🍽️ The sandwich was fine, but the toppings could have been a bit more.
🅿️ On-site if you have an appointment.
The bread? Excellent.
The welcome? Not so much. I’ve come here often, but a staff member shouted and waved me away because I was holding my 4-month-old calm puppy, the size of a croissant, in my arms. Hardly a big bad wolf. Such a pity: wonderful bread, but an unexpectedly intolerant attitude.
I expected bakers to be from a warmer breed🥐
The döner isn't döner at all, but cubes of meat. The durum doesn't taste good and is incredibly expensive. You can't pay by card, so you have to transfer the money using his debit card. The next day, I ended up with food poisoning.
Avoid this place if you can.
