De beste restaurants in Amsterdam

Really awesome bar had a great conversation with the bar tender and people there it also felt really oldschool and just like a pub you want to get a great beer from and all this even tho it is in a verry touristic area. I passed by and by chance I just stumbled into it alone and definitely will come back

Regular staff is very nice. Manager was too set on making sure I was a paying customer and that I would pay my bill before I received my food and can use the toilet. Disappointing but I think it’s cultural. If a Dutch manager for example don’t think I would get treated that way. Nevertheless still recommend the place as the food was good even though they also forgot my utensils and salad dressing as well when I took it to my place.

Its closed and they never updated this!

This used to be my favorite shop, a place I enjoyed visiting. Unfortunately, this was the last time. The woman who served us (a heavyweight, short in stature, and wearing a robe) was extremely rude. Everything seemed like too much to ask, and she sighed with every question. With such an attitude, lack of manners, and tone towards customers, you do not belong in a place like this, as far as I am concerned. It is a real shame, because I always enjoyed coming here. For me, this was indeed the very last time.

We visited The Avocado Show a while ago because we’d seen so many recommendations for it on social media. The food was really delicious, but overall, I don’t think it’s worth making a special trip just to eat there. If you’re already in the area, I definitely recommend stopping by. But I wouldn’t travel out of my way just for this café.

Very rude and dirty cook, dirt under his nails, the place smelled of urine, food was mediocre to bad.

Eaten there a few times, but this time it was a soggy mess! The chicken was also cold, not properly heated or cooked (sent the food back too)... a real shame, because of this I won't be going there anymore.

This bar is really something else. The vibes are on point and the hospitality is top-notch. Everyone working there was super friendly and welcoming—it really made the experience even better. You can tell they care about their guests. The drinks were solid, music was good, and the whole atmosphere just made me want to stay longer. I would definitely recommend this spot if you’re in the area, and for sure I’ll be coming back again. Real cozy place with good people.

The pizza tasted like the ones that come boxed and frozen from the supermarket. We ordered mushrooms, and were super salty - inedible. Good service, but we are not coming again.
