Expensive for what you get and not necessarily tasty. Very busy day with young people hanging around inside and outside. The store is open whenever they want and the opening hours are absolutely correct. Close the doors and go home...
Drinks are very expensive. A wheat beer costs €12. We were once asked to pay a bill that had already been paid. We were thus robbed of €36. Not recommended!
I had a very disappointing experience at this place. I came in hoping to enjoy a good tiramisu, especially since it’s located near the central station and convenient for my way home. Given the number of Italians and Mediterranean people around, I expected something authentic.
When the server brought my tiramisu, I was immediately skeptical. It was served on an oversized plate with the corners filled with slagroom (whipped cream) to make up for the emptiness of the dish. The tiramisu itself was drowning in chocolate and topped with even more slagroom. When I scraped off the excess, I realized the actual size of the tiramisu, without exaggeration, was barely 3×7 cm². But if that were the only issue, I wouldn’t even bother writing this review.
The real problem? It wasn’t a tiramisu at all. They might as well call it something else, but definitely not tiramisu. Instead of being soaked in coffee, the French cat tongue biscuits were drenched in an overly sweet syrup, making the dessert unbearably sugary, especially combined with the excess chocolate on top. The best part of a tiramisu, the mascarpone cream, was completely missing. In short, this dessert could be anything except tiramisu.
I barely managed to take two small bites before stopping. I could immediately feel a sugar rush. It was way too sweet. I called the server to express my concerns, but in the end, I still had to pay for something that neither tasted good nor resembled what I ordered. A complete disappointment, I felt like I had been scammed.
I’ve had much better tiramisus in the center, even at lower prices. One place I highly recommend is Volare: Volare on Google Maps. It has a great vibe, good drinks, and delicious dessert, plus excellent food options.
NEVER again, a rude local and arrogant owner..
I want to eat according to my taste and not according to the taste of the staff.
Never again at a Turkish local.
Take away bakery excellent products, a slightly chaotic environment especially in the early hours of the morning.
Prices perhaps a little too expensive.
The sandwiches should be stuffed a little more!
I've visited many Vapiano branches in Germany and always enjoy ordering the Reef & Beef. Unfortunately, this time was by far the most disappointing experience.
The beef wasn't fresh, had an unpleasant flavor, and was tough due to overcooking – I even had to spit it out. The vegetables and sauce didn't seem fresh either; a sour aftertaste was clearly noticeable.
The sauce itself was completely tasteless and lacked any typical flavor. Even salt and pepper couldn't salvage the dish.
It's a real shame – especially compared to my previous positive experiences at Vapiano.
I was here for a concert. The takeout line was packed, and new orders kept coming in. They conveniently marked all the waiting orders as "ready," but then the chaos began. They kept grabbing someone's receipt and preparing their order. I stood in a takeout line for 45 minutes and was thankfully at the front. The fries were as soggy as could be. They probably sat under a hot plate for 45 minutes. There was no clear leader, and everyone just went about their business at a terribly slow, disinterested pace, while 100 people were waiting. Meanwhile, the staff was arguing with each other, and there was trash all over the kitchen floor. It was truly shameful.
Been to many kfcs globally but this one would be the worst.. there are few nice and friendly staffs, but few staffs are there who doesn’t want to do anything at all.. the only place where they gave 2 burgers while the order was for 4 and while I pointed it out that 2 missing , the way she was surprised is unexplainable.. like that’s the only thing you had to do.. just put the order on the tray.. literally how could someone miss this straight forward thing is beyond my understanding.
