The lady was nice, but unfortunately, the quality of the food has deteriorated significantly since the new owner took over. The fries weren't good (soggy and greasy), and the snacks weren't quite what I was used to. I hope for the best, but I fear the worst. Anyway, good luck with the business.
The blond guy was very friendly (one of the few places in Amsterdam where we were treated well). The burger was very good and reasonably priced.

It hasn't been a hotel for over a year, but an emergency asylum center. The restaurant is mediocre for residents, but they have a limited budget and strict rules. The COA staff do their utmost to make the best of it for the residents. It's a pleasure working with them.
Watch out for a crazy old woman on the patio trying to lock people in, claiming there's a cat outside. We were inside, and she slammed the door shut with brute force and refused to open it, causing my two children, who I was getting ice cream with, to panic. A lot of pushing and shoving, and she simply held us captive—bizarre. We'll be going through that again. Verona is further down the road; go get some ice cream there. That way you won't run into that deranged witch. They shouldn't let her on the patio; they should be put in an asylum, haha, yay.
Cant they have a fixed closing time that is actually in line with the online information, or change the online information with their constantly changing opening and closing times. Really inconvenient for constant travellers

The terrace looked unkempt and unpleasant. The soup of the day on May 11 is pea soup, which is special in itself.
The staff were clearly not real catering people.
Starter looked unsightly and tasted the same.
Schnitzel with forest mushrooms, I think you had to look for the mushrooms yourself in the forest.
2 hamburgers for 18 euros each completely raw and cold inside and as compensation........nothing (1 beer on the house).....just pay for everything!
Scandalous!
It continues to deteriorate every year, which is a shame in such a nice location!
The food is mostly very sweet. Lots of rice, and the nasi isn't fried but sweetened with sweet soy sauce. The chicken is tender, but there's very little of it. It doesn't taste fresh. Disappointed.
