De beste restaurants in Amsterdam

I live accross the street and have been here before. Their restaurant is at the end of a road which is closed due to maintenance (I wasn’t aware). A lady who works there went out for a smoke. I asked if I could use the entrance because it would save me a 2 km/20 minute walk, only to access their restaurant for 30 seconds… she told me no. You lost yourself a customer here. It is only 16:00, there was nobody in the restaurant..

Don’t know why this is below 4 stars. It’s a lovely cafe with great staff, delicious food, and right next to the weekend market. This is one of my favorite spots to bring my friends.

Staff is very unfriendly and rude

Got trapped after seeing a La Marzocco coffee machine but the woman serving made me one of the worst flat whites I had in a long time.

It was ok. They asked me if I wanted coffee in my coffee which I thought it was a funny question. I order a caramel Frappuccino and they gave me a carton cup made for hot drinks. The order took forever.

Nice tent and bowls were well filled

Great fries, good snacks. What more could you want? Friendly service and served on a plate. Now just add cutlery and napkins, and maybe wipe down the tables, and I'll give 5 stars!!

Best New York Pizza in the Netherlands, Absolutely fantastic! Every time I order from New York Pizza, I am surprised all over again by the amazing taste and perfect quality. The pizzas are always deliciously fresh, generously topped, and still piping hot upon arrival. The delivery is fast and reliable. Truly top class!

These people are complete scammers. The place is closed, I ordered food on Sunday and it never arrived, and it was even through Uber Eats. Uber Eats has a chatbox, so there's no way I'll get my money back. If anyone else is familiar with this and has tips for me on how to resolve this with Uber, let me know. Ugh, they should be ashamed of themselves. They can flush another 100 euros down the toilet.

Your satay sauce used to be more flavorful; nowadays it's sometimes too sour or something, or not full of flavor.

Served me a raw piece of meat

I recently ate at Rancho in Amsterdam, and overall, the food was really excellent. I had a steak, and it was truly delicious. The appetizer—nachos and chicken—was also super flavorful, a real treat. The service was friendly, and the staff were helpful. Unfortunately, there were a few downsides. The biggest one was that the main course was served while our appetizer was still on the table. We weren't asked if it could come next, and the table wasn't cleared first, which was a shame. We also received dirty wine glasses, and the bottle of wine was very dusty. I understand that a bottle can come from the cellar, but a quick clean would definitely be better—it wasn't a pleasant sight. All in all, a good experience in terms of food and friendliness, but with a few areas for improvement in the service and hygiene. I'm also adding photos to this review for clarification.
