Nice little store! I wanted some nice food, before my Bus was leaving from Sloterdijk Station. So i found this store. I got 2 surinaam sandwiches - one with chicken Curry and one with Javanese Chicken Satè. They were pretty good! But could gave been better. The Satè sandwich has been better, then the Curry sandwich. That could have been spicier and so. But ok - the price is pretty good!

Best döner place in Bijlmer, too bad you're no longer in the gate and also not reachable. Hopefully you'll be back soon!

Bought a croquette sandwich yesterday... Too bad!!!! The croquette was cold, the filling was cement (returned), and my appetite was gone...

I had an issue with my order via Thuisbezorgd and they were super helpful and accommodating. The food is great too! Dankjewel Burger Mafia :)

Drove all the way there. It’s closed or not visible on the street. Seems like it’s only for hotel guests.

Dear Khalid, everything is ruined. Update 2026: The food has become terrible. The grillworst sandwiches are almost empty. And that for 4,75!??? And the sandwich hete kip is not nearly as full as it used to be. What the *** happened!?? You used to have great service and great food. I always ordered a lot and i was always happy. But it has become very bad. Scandalous almost.

I was really disappointed with my visit. The avocado served was clearly not fresh—it tasted old and had an unpleasant texture, which is unacceptable for something that’s supposed to be a key ingredient. The pancakes were also a letdown. They were dry and lacked flavor, and overall just didn’t taste well made. For a place that serves breakfast, I expected much better quality. I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough to mention. Hopefully the restaurant improves its ingredient freshness and food quality.

Great place to chill with a beer

This review wasn't intended for Ciro 1939. I haven't tried this place yet. I do intend to try it out.

I ordered the "volcano set" via Thuisbezorgd and it was honestly the worst sushi I have ever had - basically sushi doused in INSANELY salty sambal-like sauce (which was nevertheless not even spicy). Everything only tasted like salt, and it was expensive and late! I threw most of it away.

The place is wonderful and the food is very tasty. However, I was really disappointed today: the girl who prepared my sandwich was clearly sick and struggling with a runny nose. This is disrespectful and unacceptable — you shouldn’t come to work and prepare food for customers when you have the flu. If you’re sick, you should stay home.
