Very good fries and fair prices (around €40 for four people - some ordered cheaper ones!) and a cool location. A cool motorsport atmosphere. Unfortunately, all the tables are sticky.
Don't visit this place if you don't want to have some serious poisoning and other ailments. We visited this restaurant last Sunday evening and from Monday morning we both are feeling horrible, can't eat, have either diarrhea or constipation, extreme stomach pain, burning in the stomach and esophagus, nausea, extreme belching and palpitations. Will need to go to the doctor tomorrow, because it's unbearable and common stomach medicines don't help at all. I don't know if it's the tuna or salmon itself or the raw octopus or one type of white fish they are serving, but certainly something is very wrong with their seafood. Who knows for how long they store the fish or how long does it take for the fish to arrive to their place since they are located quite inland. DON'T VISIT if you don't want to have persistent stomach issues.
We were in the shop at 3:30 on October 3rd during the fabric market, which was very busy, and everything was already being taken out of the display case, while several customers still wanted to buy pastries. We were informed that the shop was closing at 4 p.m. They simply continued clearing everything away.
We did end up buying half a flan, but the service was not enthusiastic. Additionally, people walked out of the shop wanting to heat something up; they were also told that the oven was already off.
The above is not the service we are used to from other branches.
Got food here for the first time, and it was absolutely delicious! Large portions, and ready on time. The gentleman behind the counter was also very friendly. See you soon!!
Ordered food from here and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Don’t be fooled by the good rating in the delivery app. The carbonara sauce in the pasta was absolutely awful, had to throw it all out. Pizza was somewhere between bad and mediocre, couldn’t really eat it as well.
It’s the most convenient option when coming with large groups at HTC. It’s spacious enough and you can book in advance to avoid surprises. However, there’s not really much variety and the food really does not stand out. For beverages you only get a few jars of flavored water but nothing else.
I’d choose it for groups but not for a few people at a time, there are other best options at the Strip for this
We came here as a family for Indian food. Normally, I don't like Indian food in restaurants in the Netherlands because the taste is always disappointing. My experience at this restaurant confirmed my thoughts.
The food was absolutely terrible. The restaurant's concept is very good, with a wide variety of dishes and included drinks (unlimited lemonade is always a good thing). However, the quality of the food was truly awful; it had no flavor and barely any spices.
The chicken wings were even still raw...
Besides the poor food, the atmosphere was good, with a live band, and the service was good.
You aren't even greeted upon entering. We had ordered fries with frikandellen. After waiting for 45 minutes, still nothing, so we just walked inside. The employee claimed that someone had called out several times and walked past all the tables with the order. That is not true, because we were sitting next to the door and didn't leave that area. Very arrogant owner who refused to be accommodating and told me I just had to order and pay again. The children were disappointed because they were hungry. Never going back to this place.
I saw the notice that the restaurant has shutdown, and my heart is actually heavy. Thank you for the most comforting, delicious, timeless food. I will keep the memories of me running to my dad with the takeaway boxes to smell the fried rice through the sheet, and knowing it would be a happy night. It has been my favourite for many years and I wish I could have ordered some tonight or left a review earlier, but I think anyone who enjoyed a meal from the Yuen family knows it deserves more than 5/5 stars.
