The ambiance and interior design are very nice.
The staff only speaks English, and the English menu, with its Google translation, is rather adventurous.
We waited a very long time for our food, which was only of mediocre quality, even though the restaurant charges high prices for a Chinese restaurant. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is completely off.
The other day, I just wanted to pick up a croissant for my son. Something small, something simple. What did I get? A visibly grumpy and irritated employee before anything had even been said.
I politely pointed to the croissant I wanted because the other one looked dark and dry. Then I was met with a deep sigh and an irritated shake of the head. Excuse me? Because I'd rather choose the item I'm paying for myself?
When I brought this up, I was told in a snappy tone that "they're all the same and come in fresh."
I finally told her she could keep the croissant and asked for a refund. That's simply not how you treat people. A little decency and customer service don't seem too much to ask.
Dear employee: If you're so visibly unwilling to help customers, I wonder if working in a store is the right place for you. Perhaps you're too old to work in a store by now. A smile and some common sense cost nothing.
To the manager: Please address this with your employee. This kind of workplace behavior is not only unprofessional but also detrimental to your business. Customers come for a pleasant experience, not to be yelled at.

From the best in Brabant to the worst; service is okay, but the food is disgusting and inedible. The meatball in gravy is dry and tasteless, and the fries taste old and chewy, and this has been going on for well over 2 years now.
Placed an order twice in the past 3 months and messed up the order both times. That's also a talent. The quality has also deteriorated enormously since the pies are made in the “hypermodern” factory. It seems as if it is only about money, the quality/price ratio is certainly no longer what it used to be.
Been there before, but it wasn't top-notch then. This time I sat upstairs and was served by Lela, which was really great. Served quickly, glasses were never empty. It was Saturday night, but the food was served at a reasonably normal pace. Definitely coming back more often.
Food was fine, but the service was not so. We walked in to ask if they were open and if we could order something on the terrace. The boy said yes, I'm coming. He didn't come. We went back inside to attract attention again. Finally he came with a menu. Then something went wrong with the order. My husband ordered a toasted sandwich and then asked if he could change it to a croquette sandwich. The waiter wrote it down. When he came back, he brought a sandwich. So I give service a 1. I think there are very few staff here and they are very slow and make mistakes.
