Super friendly owner! Ordered takeout here for the first time, roti with some snacks, it was delicious!! First time but certainly not the last.

I have been coming here regularly ever since I moved to Eindhoven. Back in the day, I couldn't make saoto myself, but fortunately, I can now. 😂 Still, it remains fun to eat a saoto here every now and then, naturally accompanied by a tasty snack. I also always enjoy a chicken curry sandwich or chicken risolles. The food is tasty and ideal if you want to grab a quick bite. You can take it away, but you can also just sit down in the restaurant. If you are going specifically for the saoto, you sometimes have to be quick. It can sell out surprisingly fast, sometimes within three quarters of an hour. Unfortunately, that has happened to me a few times, and the disappointment is great. 😂 The staff is friendly and helpful, the interior is clean, and the atmosphere is pleasant. Nowadays, they even have a robot that comes to serve the food. Super funny to see. After all these years, it is still a trusted spot for me for a saoto and a tasty snack. Definitely recommended if you want to eat quickly and deliciously!

I have been coming to Van Kempen Forellendaal for years and the woman who has worked there for years always has a friendly word and is helpful. Delicious bread and pastries, a top shop.

Bakkerij van Leeuwen made a gender reveal cake and petit fours in pink and blue, which looked great and beautiful. We requested a white inner layer because we didn't want to reveal the gender with the cake yet 🩵🩷, and this was no problem. The cake and petit fours tasted delicious. Communication was via email, and responses were quick and clear, which was very nice. Definitely recommended 😁

The food is decent, but the surroundings are ugly; parking is difficult because of all the parked trucks; a shady tunnel; a filthy toilet for which you have to pay 80 cents

This is a truly sad and infuriating situation caused by the authorities! We've been coming here for two generations. There's nowhere else quite like it... Just a few hundred meters away, there's a huge ravine and a hole in the woods, but here, on our own property, they're denying us permission to build a few apartments. Typical crazy bureaucracy. It's such a shame, truly very sad.

Poor hygiene, they don't wash their hands after using the toilet, the owner picks his nose during a quiet moment, flies on the first floor in the summer without refrigeration to be served. I saw this with my own eyes when I was still there. Know what you're eating!

Take the money first, then pack the bread. Hygiene!

What a rubbish bakery! It is a disgrace to even go around selling it as a "bakery." They put supermarket junk in a bakery. That's all it is. Dry and tough food. From the pastries to the rolls. What a disgrace. You can find fresher food at Jumbo. Never again!

The best kibbeling there is. I've eaten Kibbeling at other locations but nowhere does it taste like it does here. Very good portion and unique beach atmosphere. There are ice cold drinks and ice cream! Perfect food for a day at the beach!

I ordered two kapsalons, and I waited 90 minutes for them, only to receive cold kapsalons with no cheese. They also hadn't even added the sauce that was specified. Well, it clearly had garlic sauce on it, even though I'd requested two cocktail sauces, but I'm sure those are lies too.
