It's a shame I cannot give zero stars to this "food"🤢. Ordered a delivery. The sauce was watery and there was so much of it that overcooked rice and noodles were drawning there. The beef was overcooked and tasted like rubber. Same goes for mushrooms, they tasted like they've made of plastic. The vegetables looked like they died a week ago and still were cooked afterwards. Advise: order it for your date if you wanna never see them again. Not a wok, but a "not ok" experience! Our trash bin enjoyed it though.
With all due respect, this is genuinely one of the worst burgers I have ever eaten. I had a burger here years ago as well, and unfortunately, nothing has changed since then. The meat is completely tasteless and really lacks character. The other dishes might be tasty, but personally, I would absolutely not recommend the burgers.
We are a French couple and we drove there last Wednesday because everything else was closed. The only place that was open was a different name.
At first, they told us we needed to create a customer account like Uber Eats to order, but since the staff realized we weren't local, they let us order right there! My husband ordered a calzone, which was huge and very generously filled—he thoroughly enjoyed it—and I had fries and tenders. I got a large portion of fries. We received a warm welcome and the meal was plentiful. We recommend it! 🙂
There is a 50% chance that you will be given the wrong order or that they will forget to process your special order for which you have to pay extra.
Save yourself the trouble and just drive on to the supermarket.
Great fries, good snacks. What more could you want? Friendly service and served on a plate. Now just add cutlery and napkins, and maybe wipe down the tables, and I'll give 5 stars!!
Terrible food. The taste was completely different from other Bakker Bart locations I’ve visited. The quality was very poor, and the food didn’t taste fresh. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a Bakker Bart. Very disappointing.
On Saturday, January 10th, we dined at Donna Pazzo for the first time with four people.
The first impression of the location is very good. A historic building with an atmospherically decorated dining room. We were welcomed politely but dutifully and escorted to our table.
I think "dutiful" best describes the service for the rest of the evening. Just polite, but never with the flair you would expect in an Italian Osteria. What stood out was that the restaurant was very empty from 7:30 PM for a Saturday night.
As for the food, it was okay, but nothing more than that. As antipasti, we had the carpaccio twice and the bruschetta twice. Apparently, we didn't read the menu properly, because upon serving, we discovered it was a beetroot carpaccio; the taste was good. The bruschetta was perceived as ordinary.
The main course was a pasta with prawns, which was considered good. The same goes for the salmon. The beef tenderloin was decent, ranging from tender to somewhat tough and not particularly special in terms of flavor. The risotto tasted good, but even for a primi, the portion was very small. "That was three bites," someone at our table said.
Finally, the dolce, which consisted of 3 cheese platters and 1 panna cotta. The latter was good. The cheese platters were okay, with only the blue cheese really standing out in terms of taste sensation. The other cheeses were blander in flavor and tasted fairly similar.
All in all, not quite the dinner we had expected. It is a shame, because the location and ambiance of Donna Pazzo are truly amazing. I hope they can improve on these points, as the competition from good Italian restaurants like Safino and Il Boccone is quite fierce.
We might give Donna Pazzo another chance; the courtyard seems like a great place to eat sometime when the weather is nice.
I ordered four minibons this week and picked them up.
The website says a mix of two classic minibons, one chocolate minibon, and one caramel minibon.
And wow, I received four identical ones.
I'm very disappointed, and the food was inedible.
Friendly staff, but the quality of the delivery was poor.
