I took a G2G package expecting bread I got 5 sweet things (like croissants) instead. I will never buy in this shop again. Besides is horrible to get there in the rush hour I lost 45 minutes in traffic jams thanks to the useless shopping detour

Enjoy a delicious, relaxed meal, choosing and preparing it yourself in a hotpot. Clear instructions/info in Dutch and English on the menu. And at a nice price too... highly recommended if you are in the area and want to eat Asian food.

Unfortunately, the pancakes were cold, with very little apple and/or banana. The pancakes upstairs were not cooked properly and were incredibly thin. They don't fill you up at all. After reporting this, I received a new pancake, but with even less apple :( Nice place, but no pancake experts. I would love to teach them after having owned a pancake restaurant myself for 8 years. A pancake should fill your stomach.

The food was shameful, the tomato soup and chicken satay were very mediocre. First and last time.

Everything is great, but I miss brown bread and sourdough bread. Otherwise, everything is super tasty. The service staff is very good and attentive.

What a wonderful experience at Lunchroom Melvienne in IJsselstein! From the moment you walk in, you immediately feel the warm and cozy atmosphere. You're immediately greeted with a smile, and they really take the time for you. No rush, just genuine attention and good service. They think along with you, give honest advice, and ensure everything is just as you want. That personal touch really makes all the difference. And then the food—absolutely fantastic! The croquettes are highly recommended. Perfectly crispy on the outside and wonderfully creamy on the inside, with a full, rich flavor. You can taste the attention paid to quality. Just as a good croquette should be. Everything is also neatly presented and looks well-presented. I also really appreciate the fast service without it being impersonal. Even when it's a bit busier, the staff remain friendly and keep an eye on things. You don't see that everywhere. In short: Lunchroom Melvienne stands for hospitality, quality, and excellent service. A place you enjoy going to and leave feeling good about. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone in IJsselstein looking for a delicious lunch with excellent service!

There is probably a very good cook there, and very nice people; we always get takeout. They also have a very nice loyalty program with a stamp card, but the food is truly always delicious. Highly recommended! 👌

We were treated terribly. The staff was arrogant, rude, and incompetent. The food was mediocre. The coffee was cold. A waiter started shouting at us to move aside while we were patiently waiting our turn for a table. Apparently, we were in the way; instead of explaining, he started arguing with us. We were not treated kindly while ordering either. We wanted to order an espresso macchiato, but were told in a very unfriendly manner that they do not have it and only cortado. If you can make a cortado, it doesn't seem complicated to me to put slightly less milk in the coffee. It was a very bad start to the museum visit, absolutely not a good advertisement for the museum!

I need to revise my old review. I have been ordering here regularly to my full satisfaction. I also order directly because I want to give the entrepreneur the full profit instead of Thuisbezorgd. As a reward, you also get two delicious chicken spring rolls for free! Extensive menu, delicious meals. Always delivered quickly by nice, polite delivery drivers. Generous portions. I always enjoy it immensely. Definitely recommended!
