Delicious poke bowl at Poke Perfect Schiphol Plaza!
During my visit to Schiphol Plaza, I stopped by Poke Perfect right before my flight, and I was really pleasantly surprised! It was exactly what I was looking for: tasty, fresh, quick, and a nice and healthy meal before boarding the plane.
The poke bowl was super tasty, and the ingredients tasted fresh. There is plenty of choice, allowing you to customize your bowl entirely to your own taste. The combination of the various toppings, sauce, and fresh ingredients was really well-balanced. Moreover, everything looked neat and well-presented.
What I also really liked was that the staff was friendly and helpful. Even though it can often be busy at Schiphol, I was served properly, and there was a pleasant atmosphere. The service was quick, which is especially ideal when you are on your way to your gate and don't want to wait endlessly for your food.
I consider the location at Schiphol Plaza a big plus in any case. Grabbing something tasty and fresh to eat before flying is so much nicer than quickly grabbing something that feels heavy or unhealthy. I headed towards my flight with a full stomach and a satisfied feeling.
In short: as far as I'm concerned, Poke Perfect Schiphol Plaza is absolutely highly recommended! Especially if you are looking for a fresh, tasty, and light meal before your flight. I will certainly come back here again when I fly from Schiphol again.
Nice lady, but unfortunately the quality of the food has really deteriorated since there has been a new owner. The fries aren't tasty (stale and greasy) and the snacks weren't quite the flavors I was used to before either. I hope for the best, but I fear the worst. In any case, good luck with the business.
The terrace looked unkempt and unpleasant. The soup of the day on May 11 is pea soup, which is special in itself.
The staff were clearly not real catering people.
Starter looked unsightly and tasted the same.
Schnitzel with forest mushrooms, I think you had to look for the mushrooms yourself in the forest.
2 hamburgers for 18 euros each completely raw and cold inside and as compensation........nothing (1 beer on the house).....just pay for everything!
Scandalous!
It continues to deteriorate every year, which is a shame in such a nice location!
What terribly rude, arrogant staff there!
On July 31st at 10:30, I wanted to order a chicken sandwich... "That wasn't possible," she said, because the sandwiches were still warm and I couldn't cut them open.
I had to come back in half an hour...hahaha, and do you think I'm going to do that??
NO, of course not!!
I said you're open at 10, right?
Then you have to make sure the sandwiches are ready, right?!
But you can't get a sandwich until 11, while it's supposed to be from 10.
The lady said that if I knew that well, I should come work there myself!
And
Wow, wow, wow...and that's the staff there?
Please throw them out! You're not going to win the war with this, and you're definitely not going to make any money!!!
One star is wayyyyyy too much!!!
Unfortunately, not the best and tastiest McDonald’s. When I eat my cheeseburger, I love the cheese being nicely melted and experiencing real nostalgia. Unfortunately, that is not the case here. The staff is also curt and completely uninterested in the food being served to the customers.
Unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. We paid approximately €60 for two people. My partner ordered an iced tea and a three-course meal, and I ordered a latte and a three-course meal.
When we were shown to our table, it was still wet (probably from being wiped down), and we had trouble reading the menu because it was stuck to the table. After ordering, we waited about 20 minutes for our starters: tomato soup and a baguette with herb butter. However, our drinks didn't arrive for another 30 minutes, and they gave me the wrong one. After it took ages for any staff member to respond to our complaint, they argued with me about the fact that I had wanted a regular coffee, not a latte. It took another 30 minutes for the main course (two pancakes in total), and we also had to wait 30 minutes for dessert (we both ordered a milkshake). Furthermore, the milkshake was 70% cream. We were there for over two hours, during which time the people around us had already eaten and paid.
Unfortunately, we can only give it two stars.
The Viennese cherry pie hasn't been what it used to be for years. Tasteless, too many pits to bite into, you have to search for the cherries, and the crust is too soggy. This has been independently confirmed by four people. No more Viennese cherry pie for us. And...way too expensive! It's ridiculous that you have to pay to cut slices. Bye, Broekmans!
Paid €25 for a burger, fries and coke. This is not exactly cheap. You can expect a good burger that is not burnt. Tried to reach by phone but the number is wrong.
