A very nice restaurant with delicious food. Everything is freshly prepared and beautifully presented. The service is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is cozy and relaxed. Definitely a place I'd love to return to.
For what it's worth, it took almost 2 hours for the food to arrive, i got a confirmation saying that it's going to take a bit longer which was nice, it did came eventually so no hate on the delivery driver.
As for the food, the pastel the nata aren't great value, I'm not expecting like a Lidl type deal (0.50$ per nata) but 2x small for 3$ is pushing a bit.
Burgers were actually Great! No issue with that, great size also nicely prepaired. The fries where fine but lack any salt 🧂, no problem with that so i recommend that.
Last, the spare ribs were also fine, but for 8$ the portion was indeed a bit small, there are better competitors, but atleast it was tasty 😋
My conclusion : the low reviews on this place are justified, I'm personally satisfied with my order, but there are some issues, so know what you're getting yourself into 🫰🏻
Ordered food today. Looked good, but the taste was very bland. My partner and I have had stomach problems since we ate. We definitely won't be coming back. I came because the shawarma place (which I frequent) next door was closed.
The fries were still there, as was the mayo and satay sauce. However, both the fries and the snacks were lukewarm, as if they had been under a heat lamp for a while. Standard snacks are also available, and they even have a wall where you can take the snacks out.
I'm still missing a real snack designed specifically for Efteling.
What a disappointment! A rice table for one person with four different kinds of meat, one of which was absolutely rock hard. The only small amount of vegetables that came with it was slimy (yucky) and sour. No more Samabe for us!
I used to pass by this store on the way to school. My go-to used to be the salmon bagel sandwich they offer. The food itself is decent, though a bit on the pricey side. But that’s not the reason I stopped coming here. What really appalled me was the service I received.
I came in one day, to find no salmon bagel on the shelves. That’s fine, no big deal. I decided to wait for them to restock. After around 10-15 minutes, I realise they’re not making any, so I go to the register to ask one of the workers there. “Hey, are you making any salmon bagels?” And you know what the response I got back was? “No, we’re not making any salmon bagels right now. And, we’re not taking any requests because, *we’re* the chefs,” and she turns on her heel. I stopped going there after that.
So, that’s what helped me realise it was a much better idea to make my salmon bagels at home- for 1/4 the price and 0 of the questionable customer service. Save your time, money, and energy! Make your bagels at home!
I wanted a sandwich without ham, so I asked at the cash register if it was healthy. The employee, who wasn't very enthusiastic about his job, replied, "I can't change anything about a sandwich???" In the end, there was no meat on the sandwich. It was expensive for a slice of cheese and a mountain of iceberg lettuce. Unfortunately, they only charge by card. A missed opportunity with grumpy employees, cheap sandwiches sold for expensive. And don't ask if anything can be omitted from a sandwich because that's apparently too much work. I'll just go to a competitor who is more customer-friendly!
